Grave Mistakes- Darth Maul intro.

The moment the sickening crack of metal against flesh echoed through the grand hall, the air in the throne room changed.

Savage stopped speaking mid-sentence, his golden eyes flicking toward the entrance in alarm. Maul felt it first. Pain- hers. The force-bond between them flared, searing through his mind like a blade, white-hot and undeniable. His entire body tensed as his blood ran cold, his jaw tightening so sharply it could have cracked.

He hadn't seen it happen. He hadn't needed to. He had felt her pain as if it had been his own.

Maul turned slowly, methodically, his movements too controlled, too deliberate, a lethal contrast to the storm raging beneath the surface. His burning gaze landed first on her, the crimson streak of blood trailing from her nose.

Then, his gaze shifted to the one responsible.

The Mandalorian officer barely had time to react before an invisible force crushed against his throat. His body lifted violently off the ground, Maul's outstretched hand curled into a fist. The crackling hum of raw power vibrated through the room as the man choked, his hands clawing desperately at his helmet.

The other guards didn't move. None of them dared.

Maul took a step forward, his voice eerily calm, but layered with venom so potent it could have burned through beskar itself.

"Do you know," he said slowly, tilting his head just slightly, "how rare it is for me to trust?"

The officer let out a strangled gasp, his body trembling as Maul tightened his grip with the Force.

"How fragile a privilege it is?"

A faint crack sounded from within the man's throat.

Savage shifted slightly beside him, his expression unreadable, but even he knew better than to interfere.

Maul took another slow step forward, his voice dropping to something almost intimate, a whisper laced with pure, undiluted malice.

"You struck her," he seethed, his fiery eyes locked onto the officer's visor. "The one thing in this wretched galaxy I value."

Another crack this time, louder.

The Mandalorian's struggles became weaker, his vision blurring, but Maul wasn't done.

"You do not touch what is mine."

The last word was punctuated by a sickening snap. The officer's body went limp before he even hit the floor, his helmet clattering against the stone with a hollow echo.

Hey guys! Who wants an essay about how relatable back to the kindergarten is? I can’t tell but I don’t care here you go!!!

It pains me to express how relatable this episode is. As someone who’s been dealing with depression for a long while, and also a peridot kin also I have autism symptoms which no I’m not saying I have autism I’m just saying that I have many symptoms, which causes me to relate to autistic people. Unfortunately, I internalize it more, which kind of sucks. So I’m sharing my shit online?? I don’t know

This is relevant because peridot is also extremely demotivated and depressed, and in her case it’s because she’s lost Lapis

That scene where she finds something good and then it goes away and she gets pissed and says all that relatable dialog especially hit hard.

- swiss and phantom can’t ride a bike, mountain can but refuses cause his legs basically hit his chest, rain and dew are bmx bandits and have a dirt track in the forest

- cumulus loves her jewellery she has one of those full length mirror stands filled with crazy expensive beautiful earrings and necklaces and rings and bracelets, she only wears silver, pearls, diamonds, aquamarine and lapis lazuli, she takes such good care of them and will take them all off before sex no matter how horny

- rory is on the same level as rain when it comes to hairiness but she prefers being mostly clean shaven but on occasion her razors go “missing” (and swiss has nothing to do with it he swears) and she has no choice but to grow it all out, ain’t nothing better than hairy rory in the summertime in the cutest lil bikini

- dew has chronic rbf and loves to play it up around the siblings to scare them and has a rep of being the “small but scary” ghoul, until he volunteers to help mount with the lil kids with their veggie gardens one summer and we all know he’s secretly a big softie so the kids absolutely adore him and now he can’t walk around the abbey without at least one small satanic child hanging off him yapping his ear off and he has the biggest grin on his face the entire time

- mountain eats the weeds from the garden he makes a salad with them and it actually tastes really nice, he refuses to let anything he grows go to waste

Sit back and relax while I yap about the ancient egyptian mummification process

The first step was to clear the body. After this the brain is removed using a hook like instrument through the nose and then discarded. Then all internal organs are removed except the heart. The stomach, lungs, liver, and intestines are placed in canopic jars that usually feature the 4 sons of Horus. After this the body is then filled with and covered in Natron, a type of salt used to dry out the body. Linen was used to fill parts of the body after this. The body is then carefully rapped in linen items such are amulets were placed in the rappings. Finally a funerary mask is placed over the head and the body is then placed into a coffin that was then placed in a sarcophagus. This process from start to finish lasted about 70 days. 

* The heart- the ancient Egyptians believed that the heart carried the mind. It was believed that when a person died there heart would be weighed against a feather by Anubis. If the heart weighed the same as the feather the person would be able to move on into the afterlife however, it was heavier that person would be devoured Ammit

* Funerary mask- made from many different materials such as wood or cartonnage. However the most famous funerary mask is that of king Tutankhamun which was made of gold, obsidian, quartz, and lapis lazuli

She's going to university in the states w the others after her mom (who SUCKS btw) sends her there to study law, in hopes she'll become a lawyer and continue the family business.... However she is NOT into that and really just wants to study music

ALSO RAYA IS THE ONE WHO IS FRIENDS WITH LAZ!! Marina's weirdly out of place friend in the au is Volleyball (whose name is Vivienne)!!

Another fun fact about her is that she loves LOVES metal music. she then becomes the vocalist of Raya's metal band (who I will post about someday)

Hello I was wondering if you've seen ES fancomics like ES Tomorrow Light, ES Last Chance, ES 3045, ES Archyles, and Widwan's ES. If you have seen one or all of them what were your thoughts on them?

Thank you for the ask! I knew about a couple of these but I never really delved into most of them until now! Yapping under the cut!

ES Tomorrow Light

Read the first two chapters and I LOVE THIS!! There’s so many issues revolved already!! Even ones I haven’t even considered before now! Lazuli not being toxic towards Speed/the others, foreshadowing Black and Speed knowing each other, nobody making fun of Speed for adopting Sunshine (wow. it just hit me how a lot of these are related to that Jolteon), and a lot of things turning more wholesome like they were meant to be at first (like Silvia and Sunshine baking a cake together!)

The characters still have their flaws (like Pearl for example) but it’s definitely not as bad as they were in canon!! Really good stuff!!

Last Chance (it won’t let me link it :[)

This is good!! Read the 1st chapter and it’s pretty interesting so far! Whatever’s happening with Sunshine is pretty cool and I like that she’s officially adopted into the squad!! once again kudos for not having Lazuli be physically abusive! also that “choking” line caught me so off guard LMAO

OK JUST FINISHED THE FIRST CHAPTER AND THIS ONE’S COOL AS HELL.. the new setting was a breath of fresh air compared to the last two comics (I love canon rewrites, but the creativity here is insane!) and Anchor’s and Kaimon’s role in this war on Gaia is awesome!! :D

I like this one!! The setting’s pretty cool alongside the dynamic all the characters have! Very curious about Sunshine’s whereabouts (since Crystal mentioned her in a 4th wall thing). I wasn’t able to read much of it but from the stuff I did read, it’s really cool!!

I've been revenge-chaining like 4 diff users with no joke, so I got 0 time to think of what to type here otherwise LMFAO

I don't wanna yap too much in this desc, as I'm mega-busy and trying to avenge 4 diff drawings in under 3 days isn't easy for me xD. The 2nd attack here of the zora, was an attack I've drawn tuesday I think, and then wednesday-friday I got 4 ATTACKS AGAIN- SO YEAH I'M AS WE SPEAK SKETCHING THE 4TH REVENGE DRAWING (final one actually for said Yoyoyo person, as it'll be the only characters left, that I haven't drawn of theirs!)

BUT- I can mention, that I loved doing something new again via combining pencils and markers!! I didn't really- like do it “symbiotically” if that makes sense? But yeah, in these drawings the pencils played a much more active role in me pulling off some things with shading or reflections! I got more polychromos, which means, I can combine more and more of the 2 in the future! I can't wait to have more time to draw traditionally though...I might crank back on revenges next year bc I just this year simply had so little time for it

I STILL wish for a 300-Ohuhu set to magically appear in front of my doorstep though some day. A delulu guy can dream! 🥴

I originally posted this a while ago but decided to edit it cause I changed, and it was inaccurate. This isn’t in a particular order btw. 

 Maki Harukawa -  Maki has always been the most relatable character to me. Her entite arc always hit a bit too close to home. I have grown a lot as a person, but can’t help it but relate to her still. I always found her whole thing with kids relatable as well. I “hate” kids, or at least sorta. I guess I more so hate the idea of them? But I still usually end up taking care of them. 

Toko Fukawa -  I am indeed an INFP so her whole bit about fantasizing I found relatable. Also her viewing the world through a grimy and pessimistic lense is quite similar to me. Then there’s the part ab her being a writer

Mona Megistus - It’s not just cause I’m into astrology, I swear. I always found her relatable but after seeing her mirage andd all that jazz, I felt so much stronger ab her. The bit about her always being broke - not cause she didn’t earn any money but because of her expensive habits hit me right in the gut.

Fischl - Again, I’m an INFP who writes fan fiction. I constantly live inside my own fantasies. Idk what else to say. Also can we talk ab when she randomly breaks character? Cause I loved tht

Diane Nguyen - Another writer, who is shocked? She doesn’t write a lot of fiction but I relate to that part of her as well. All though with Diane, it’s mostly about her state of mind and mental health. 

Jinx - Oh Boy, here comes the abandonement issues. She is one of the ones I’m a bit insecure ab kinning. When I say I’m a Jinx kinnie it’s not cause I’m so quirky that i relate to a murderer. I think the way her untreated anxiety and abandonment issues turned into something much much worse. This one hurt me to type out fellas

Reko Yabusame - Once again, the thing with kids comes up. I like taking care of people weaker than me, a lot like Reko. It’s not a power thing, but more like a “that could’ve been me” thing, cause I know what it’s like to feel powerless. I also gotta say her interest in music also speaks to me. She’s up there with my highest kins. 

Robin Buckley - She likes boobies, I like boobies. No, but seriously, I always found her relatable but after s4 I consider her a kin. Idk how to go into depth here, it just is what it is. I can say that I have the tendency to not be able to shut up once I star yip yapping away, so there’s that. 

Tsukimi Kurashita - One of my lesser known kins, but doesn’t mean I kin her any less. Another Infp to add to the list while we’re at it. I may not be obsessed with Jellyfish but I do have obsessions and ambitions. How she acts in public, her awkwardness, everything.

Marceline - Music is one of my passions as well as writing. I am such a sensitive person but that can be hard to show in a healthy manner. Music has helped me so much in that regard. I also am into pink girls who are into science.

Lapis Lazuli - The trauma of it all! The isolating yourself because you don’t know how else to cope part! I just want to see her happy because everything about her is painfully relatable. 

Catra -  Soooo again, we have abandoment issues. She’s also in love with her childhood best friend. She also copes with being super destructive having no regard for how that may affect those around her or even herself, as multiple of the characters above.

Rue Bennett - Again with the very destructive coping mechanisms. How she acts. I’m not an addict but my own behaviour has led me to living quite the similar life to her.
