I really love you headcanons of Near and L, I was wondering if you have any romantic hcs of Mello too

I love that you love them, anon. Yeah, I'll write up a huge list of basically every Mello headcanon I have like I did for Near. He deserves it. I love him.

Either wholly homosexual or bisexual with a significant male preference. (If you are a Mello fangirl reading this, please feel free to erase this line from your memory as you continue to read the rest of the headcanons list below.)

The most important factor: Needs a patient, stable partner who grounds him. Whether it's someone carefree and phlegmatic (like Matt) or equanimous and stoic (like Near), his lover needs to be the type of person who won't react to his mercurial moods and who won't take it personally when he's grouchy.

In general, a somewhat difficult person who is difficult to be in a relationship with. Feels his feelings powerfully. Sometimes feels like they get away from him. Sometimes feels a bit ashamed of his reactions to things. I see a lot of people writing him with some degree of Borderline Personality Disorder and this is my headcanon for him as well.

Always seems a little restless about something, even when he's happy and life is going well. Occasionally just leaves without warning. Sometimes it's a night walk to clear his head, sometimes it's for a couple of days and he doesn't talk about it when he returns.

Messy. Honestly tries to keep a tidy space, but can never seem to keep it under control for very long. "Organized chaos" may be a fitting description because he knows where all of his things are, he's just not very good at sticking to a system of organization or putting them back where they belong. Expect your shared space/room/apartment to be littered with his stuff.

Asks for your assistance with makeup from time to time, particularly painting his nails on his dominant hand. Berates you creatively if you suck at it, but allows you to try again until you get it right.

The kind of boyfriend to approach and hug you from behind while you're doing something else, like cooking or washing dishes. Fastens his arms tightly around your waist, holds you close. Secretly loves this kind of domestic, "normal" looking scene but won't ever do it if anyone else is nearby.

Too proud to admit it, but likes being comforted and fawned over. Wants to just lay his head in someone's lap and be loved unconditionally. Wants to be someone's priority for once.

Unlike every other Wammy's boy, has friends. Actual friends, and quite a lot of them (whether they're from work, ex-Mafia contacts, people he got in touch with from Wammy's, friends made through some other hobby - depends on the details of your setting and timeframe). He's a scintillating conversationalist, socially charming and not self-conscious. In a post-Kira case world, he has a fairly active social life. He doesn't mind if you don't want to go out with him and mingle with his friends, though (neither Matt or Near would).

Smells like some Tom Ford fragrance because he's too good for "cheap drugstore shit". Occasionally prone to living above his means, he enjoys the finer things in life.

Wants you to call him "Mihael". In a post-Kira case world where he survives, he drops the "Mello" pseudonym entirely (unlike Near who continues being Near).

Pretty high libido, considers sex life in a relationship important. May not be interested in a relationship with somebody who does not want to be intimate with him.

Rough kisser, almost always tastes like chocolate. Obviously. Greedy hands. Pins you to the wall. Pins you to the bed. Pins your hands at your sides or above your head. Dominant and in control all the way, turned on by displays of submission and adoration.

In a post-Kira case AU where he survives but nevertheless has his scars: he tries to downplay it but he's pretty heartbroken about the big, obvious expanse of scorched flesh on his left side. He's always been a bit vain and proud of his looks - the incident at the hideout shook his confidence. He's always unconsciously touching it. He would appreciate the occasional reminder that you find him rugged and dangerous-looking.

The secret thing about Mello: he's a normal, thoughtful man underneath it all. He's always going to be an ambitious and driven person, but he's tired of battling his way through life's trials and wants peace more than anything. He is not the reckless rageholic that some of the fandom (mis)characterizes him as.

I've never heard of emts working only at events? What's that like for you if you don't mind my asking?

Yeah, there are ambulance companies that staff certain events, but there's some event specific companies out there lmao. For me specifically, it's almost entirely college events, whether it's happening on a campus or not. It's not great, usually pretty boring, but it's better than being on an ambulance or in a hospital. We do get actual emergencies sometimes, but usually it's just getting drunk people to the tent or giving out water and bandaids lmao. Again, boring as fuck, but I chose this over working on a 911 rig, so that's on me 😔 if I'm being so real tho, other than my coworkers, the best part of the job is the food lmaoooo it's so good and all the food trucks/food booths give discounts or free food to us depending on the location and event. And there's almost always a ton of downtime, so I basically just get paid to sit there and vibe for the most part

The only thing he isn't strict about is your sleep schedule. So long your finish your chores and homework, sleep as late as you want and wake up at whatever hour you prefer.

He's like... a dad in every sense of the word. He won't praise you, in fact, he'll tell you you suck ass all the time. In a loving way. Still, sometimes you see that unique look on his face when he's impressed by you, or moved, or whatever.

Enji Todoroki - Endeavor

He's trying to prove he doesn't suck ass. And he fails rather miserably at it.

He tries his best to be cool, a cool dad, a cool mentor, whatever. He isn't, his jokes are bad and being around him is uncomfortable at first. Mostly because he looks so fucking angry all the time.

Getting to know him is hard, takes a lot of patience. But after all, you learn he's not that bad. He's strangely comforting.

He gives you a warm embrace whenever you fuck up. He specially likes it when you cry, so he can pat your back reassuringly as he tells you how special you are to him, how important, how in his eyes, you'll always be number one.

He's fairly easy to manipulate. Just act upset, don't speak to him much and he'll bend and break within seconds, acting to your every whim.

Hizashi Yamada - Present Mic

Hizashi doesn't know what he's doing. It's not usual that they put children over his care, so he really is puzzled on what to do. What do you eat? What do you like? Does he have to take you on walks?

He tries his best, even if that means slacking off a little and eating junk food a lot of the time. But he makes you give your best, and will make you work hard to earn luxuries under his care.

He's loud, he likes loud people and loud places. He likes rowdy children who will break stuff and get dirty. He smiles a lot, he's warm and caring, and a good guy in general.

He's very tender, often getting very distressed at the thought of you doing dangerous things. He always seems about to pop a vessel whenever you go on a mission without him.

Keigo Takami - Hawks

Hawks is absolutely terrified of children. Much more when they're gifted. He sees himself in those eyes, in those bodies. And he panics.

He tries to act cool, non chalant, like he doesn't want to wrap you with his wings and keep you safe from everything around you. Like he won't take a bullet in the head just to ensure you get home safe from school. He's very good at pretending he doesn't care.

Perhaps the most overwhelming of the bunch. He has eyes and ears everywhere, he knows when you're lying, when you're feeling anything, when you crave, when you dream, when you cry. He knows it.

He's all over you. Picks out your clothes, your hobbies, your diets. He's a control freak.

But he's sweet. Always offering you comforting words and reassuring smiles. Always having something to bribe you with, to keep you content. To keep you his.

Hi people! Welcome to yet another thing I've made, and this one was a real pain in the ass sometimes but also an actually fun and rewarding experience! Just like my last upload, this one was inspired by @gothoffspring's very pretty pictures. I wanted to have whatever they're having, and it caused me to get into the intricacies of repositorying stuff, and damn was it hard, but it was all worth it in the end! The last few times I checked, this thing worked with absolutely no problems, but please do let me know if it starts pulling shit again.

Okay, let's get to the details now. I clearly got intrigued by the keyboard, and thanks to the absolutely priceless 4t2 conversion database, I found out that it has already been converted by Ladysimplayer8 on MTS, as was tons of other 4t2 stuff. It's a fully functional keyboard, too! To be honest, I first edited the mesh a bit to fit my preferred game style (separated the recolors + added a shadow), but the first time I thought to check the original creator's TOU was literally just now, and I realized too late they don't allow their meshes to be edited and posted, so I'll have to keep it to myself. However, all the other stuff I did was actually converted directly from TS4, so of course I'm sharing it!

The wall and floor add-ons are purely decorative, having been cloned from wall objects, but I find them to be super cute. You can find them in Hobbies.../Creative right next to the actual thing. They share the original's room rating and cost a little less, but still a reasonable amount of §700 because it is a keyboard, dammit.

As both of the add-ons are repositoried to the original, they will share whatever recolors the playable keyboard has. I decided to recolor them in options by gothoffspring and MsFrankenstein because they were all very pretty. I tried to clearly label every swatch but sometimes it's brain breaking (some of them turned out to look a little different in-game, too) so I sincerely hope the names all make sense!

Prompt: Summer is here! What do you and the boys get up to during the season?

A/N: Ahhhhh this is my first writing for Love and Deepspace! Only Caleb’s section is strictly platonic in nature (sorry caleb girlies I see you and love you guys 🫶). The rest are more romantically implied!

INDOOR GARDENING

Summers are often the busiest times of the year for the hospitals. More demanding work + an Ice-based Evol is practically a season of torture for poor Zayne.

He has absolutely zero energy when he gets back to your shared home, sometimes needing to retreat into his room for an hour or so to help de-stimulate himself and clean up. This is probably the time of the year he gets a little unhealthy in his lifestyle; drinking a glass or two of wine and ordering from the nearest fast food place he would typically scold you about.

Luckily, you know just the activity to keep his morale up during the season! After perusing and inquiring with the nice florist at the nearest plant nursery, you got a few low maintenance plants the two of you can take care of over the summer: Petra croton, sansevieria, and a hoya plant for a dash of budding florals!

They’re all fairly low maintenance and provide much needed fresh air throughout the house. It’s also nice getting to watch them grow from little sprouts to full plants over time!

Zayne enjoys caring for your plants in between his work weeks, so much that it becomes a near permanent hobby of his outside the season. He has a preference for leafy plants, but you may occasionally find him at a flower shop inquiring about cultivating flowers at home for a certain…someone.

It’s you he’s talking about. 🫵

His office ends up receiving some much needed decorations, only because the house was starting to overrun with them at one point. Many of the nurses seem to enjoy the new foliage in his office, some even striking up conversations with him if they share the same hobby.

At this rate, he could start his own gardening club with his coworkers.

MOVIE MARATHONS

What better way to wait out the summer heat than inside, with the air conditioner and the comfort of one's own bed!

It’s not like there isn’t a valid reason to lounge around the apartment together. You both have been so busy with missions and all the paperwork that goes with it. Now is the best time to catch up on all the latest cinema you guys missed out on because of your jobs! 

Heck, you don't have to do just the new stuff. Why not watch some of the classics you’ve never seen before!

Xavier seems like the kind of guy who would like older movies. He likes seeing all the practical effects being used in place of all the CGI in most modern films. Prosthetics, fake blood, uncanny mannequins. He loves the creativity behind it all!

There’s no specific genre you guys stick too. If it has an interesting premise and can be rented for cheap on one of the millions of streaming services out there, it’s getting put on the TV!

Snacks are essential. I can see Xavier investing in a mini popcorn machine, maybe even a slushie machine just for the sheer theatrics and familiarity of it.

Well…more like he bought the machines and forgot that they don’t come with all the ingredients needed to make their specialty food. That means that you guys will, unfortunately, have to venture out into the heat to the nearest grocery store.

Xavier and heat do not mix. Even if it's a quick 15 minute trip, he is going to take a 5 hour heatstroke nap after getting home. Poor guy.

AMUSEMENT PARKS

Opposite to Xavier, Rafayel loves this time of the year, especially if it’s a humid summer! It's a godsend to his dryness prone skin.

Amusement parks would be right up his alley. He gets to be out and about while enjoying the seasonal fun. If the park is near a beach or on a boardwalk, even better!

All those times he failed miserably at the claw machine was just a fluke, he swears! Put this man in front of a Skee-ball machine and he’s going to be buying you that 10,000 ticket LED dart board AND a rubber bracelet at the prize counter.

Why not get yourself some assorted candies, since you got so many left over tickets? You deserve nothing but the best after all (>ᴗ•) !

All those clearly impossible side attractions end up being bested by him. The one minute pull up bar that spins midway? Yeah, he’s beating it AND doing a few pull ups too just to show off.

He tends to avoid the stall with the fishbowls and goldfish prizes out of lack of interest, but if you push hard enough (which isn't much) he might just win you a pet fish or two. Just don’t you dare shower it with more love and affection than you do him. He’s your number one fish, first and foremost!

“Whatever. You’re going to be the one taking care of them, not me!” - Rafayel, who is currently browsing online for a proper fish tank to install in his studio.

You’re absolutely not leaving that park without a giant stuffed animal. Don’t you dare think of getting the one shaped like a cat! NOT A CHANCE!

The giant cat sits next to the fish tank. He hates how weak he’s become.

BEACH RESORT

Nothing wrong with going to the beach during summer! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Except it's not just any beach Stylus takes you to, it’s a beach connected to an exclusive FIVE STAR HOTEL!!!

He was tempted to buy out the entire hotel for your week-long stay, but you didn’t want to spend the trip in complete isolation. Beach volleyball isn’t fun with just two players (four if you count Luke and Kieran tagging along)

Speaking of guests, Mephisto is legally obligated to come along. You even got him a pair of mini sunglasses and rubber Crocs so his feet don’t get singed! 🥺

Waring matching floral button ups with each other is also a requirement. It’s actually the law, you see.

Sylus: Oh yeah? Show me the law. Y/N: Sure, it’s right here!

Sunbathing is definitely on the menu as soon as you guys set up your spot on the white sanded beach. Sylus insists he help you put on your sunscreen on the harder to reach places. Seeing as he paid for the entire trip, you’ll let him have his fun running his fingers down your skin with a languished pace. He might even give you a little cheeky pinch on your ass while no one’s looking. Definitely when no one is looking.

If anyone even thinks about hitting on you while you two are together he is going to shut that show down immediately. Sure, he was very much aware of what he was doing when he picked out your swimsuit, hugging you in all the right places and all, but that suit was for him to gawk at. Not the snobby little rich kids in their beach tents or even the outdoor bartender just trying to get tips for the overpriced drinks.

If you ask nicely, he might be up for a round of beach volleyball, but YOU ARE NOT PLAYING. (See the last bullet point for an explanation).

Okay, you can play. But only on the same team as him. If not he’s going to go absurdly hard on you just to see you get frustrated (he likes it when you pout).

OR you somehow keep pace with him, are now determined to beat him into a bloody pulp in front of all these people, and what was once a casual team vs team setup has now turned into the most brutal, vindictive 1 v 1 everyone has ever seen. 

God forbid your Evols come into the picture. You may get yourselves kicked out at this rate…

At the end of the trip, Sylus is determined to end it with a leisure walk along the shoreline during the sunset. You two end up finding a large conch shell and take it back to Linkon city.

It’s a nice reminder of all the fun you two had and all the volleyballs you two destroyed.

i feel like people aren't gonna like what i am gonna say but after numerous talks with rp friends, i think it's important to at least yap a little about this.

i know this you don't owe anyone anything girlypop coochie queef purrrrrrr 💅 attitude is seen as the standard to follow not only in rp spaces but pretty much anywhere (especially online) and idk guys, i think this is doing more damage than good. rping is a hobby, yes, but it's a hobby that involves us collaborating with people in order to have fun and sometimes i feel like there's some inherent selfishness and carelessness that along with a severe lack of communication, is slowly eroding the rpc as a whole.

every day i hear a new anecdote about admins failing to take their group off the ground because of flakey members. or people retreating into their shells and not being able to fully enjoy writing with others due to people ghosting them after three hours. i feel like every single person that does the 1x1/indie thing has a story where they plot someone, make a discord server or set up an established thread, and then they never hear from their writing partner ever again. and this ain't cool, guys.

stuff happens! we all got lives and responsibilities like work and school and family life that sometimes prevent us from being as active as we would've like. or some days we just don't feel like writing for whatever reason and that's valid. this ain't a job, but it is a collaborative hobby so i am sorry to tell y'all this, but we do owe at least a lil bit of common courtesy to people who take the time to collab with us.

chats with friends and fellow rpers have me feeling like the rpc as a whole, in my opinion, has a communication problem. group people don't talk to their admins or don't like plotting with other members. 1x1/indie people are used to dropping stuff unannounced and talk even less between each other. roleplayers in general avoid making the first move and prefer letting the other party do the work. like dang y'all, not to be a hag on main but back in my day!!!! there was more of a willingness to talk to others. now everyone is more 'secluded' which i think stems from bad past experiences so we kinda end up stuck in a cycle that messes with everything as a whole.

idk where i am going this but i keep seeing people posting stuff talking about this or sharing similar sentiments or stuff happens to me and i end up making my brain work overtime to try and figure out what happened and what i can do on a personal level to change things and help others stop feeling discouraged and have a better time writing and chilling with people

and also before i forget because my wife reminded me!! it's ok to drop stuff or plots or people and its ok to take ur time to reply. we all got stuff to do or we are tired or sad or obsessively rewatching degrassi or just dont feel like writing and that's so valid. all sane people get it and would be understanding if you hit them up like hey! idt i have muse for this or sorry i took forever! but people don't even do that nowadays and it leads to people quitting, feeling discouraged, OR WORSE, adopting the same mindset. talk to ppl!! rpers are super nice and if you run into a weirdo i will beat them up for u

Backstory

7-11/Efren is one of Graves’ most loyal Shadows and considers himself a vanguard of the Company.

After losing his parents at 13 to a vehicular accident (for which he blames himself for) and the subsequent abuse and neglect from his uncle, Efren spent most of his teenage years feeling untethered, numb yet seething with anger and guilt.

He spent his early years working part time jobs to make ends meet while getting into fist fights with the local gangs to release the deep seated fury within.

A final altercation with his uncle drove Efren to seek structure and a place to belong in the Marine Corps.

There, Efren, while excelling at every aspect soldiering, would often be easily goaded and provoked into brawling with other recruits of his cohort.

This led to his first meeting with Graves, a cocky, silver tongued, MARSOC operator in his mid twenties.

Graves issued a challenge to Efren, which ended with Efren being so thoroughly *humbled* that it altered his brain chemistry, quieting his feral hind brain to a dull roar for the first time in what felt like forever.

Fixated on Graves after that meeting, Efren joined Force Recon with the hope of providing crucial intel to support his fellow Marines (especially Graves).

He always kept an ear out for news of KIA personnel; thankfully Graves was never one of them.

After years of serving in Force Reconnaissance, Efren was faced with making a decision whether or not to re-up to continue his service or to move on into civilian life.

As if summoned, Graves appeared after so many years, and whisked Efren away to his new Shadow Company, where he world finally find a new home.

The irony of feeling at peace in a PMC was not lost on him.

tomas could not get enough of you. just being in the same room as you makes his heart beat rapidly. your scent was addicting like a drug, you always looked breathtaking, and you also looked so cute while you slept!

in fact, one of tomas's favorite hobbies is watching you sleep. it's not creepy, because your window isn't locked! he's just inviting himself in. he loves grazing his fingers over your skin, your sweet delicate skin, and he almost feels as if it's sinful. as if he doesn't deserve to be in the same room as you. as if he doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as you.

his heart jumps out his throat every time you speak to him. even the smallest conversations mean a lot to him, and he'll go to bed that night thinking about it, completely overthinking anything he said to you.

graduated college! i now have a bachelor’s degree.

work is going fine! i am a full-time bartender. it’s fine, not a permanent fit for me probably but it’s okay for now.

i miss writing, but i don’t have much time to commit to it. i haven’t written anything in two (maybe even three?) months. this is partially because i’m trying to take a break to do other creative things, and partly because i love writing full-time. i’m not sure how to move forward writing in spare moments—the thought of doing that makes me a little sad. as such, i am avoiding it for the moment. lol.

my birthday is in a little less than 2 months. i will be 23! it is weird. i still feel like a teenager sometimes. sometimes even younger.

since i’m not writing at the moment, i spend my free time drawing, reading, and listening to albums. i also go on walks in the woods with my boyfriend when we’re both off work.

now about dashingdon. i thought about it quite a bit for the past week or two, and i don’t think i will be returning to deux à deux for the foreseeable future. i haven’t deleted any of my files, so it’s all there if i want to return to it at any point—but i think it will be a while before i even consider picking it back up again. a few reasons for this:

i need a much, much more concrete outline for the rest of the story, and as of right now, i don’t know what that would look like.

i don’t have much free time, and i have very little money. it feels best for me, at least right now, to fill my spare minutes with hobbies that are private to keep my sanity intact lol.

i want to spend 2025 thinking about writing more than actually writing. i have done a lot of speed-writing, just putting words to the page and blazing through—it feels like a good time to practice other skills. like sitting…thinking…stewing. i think this will help in the long run.

this is embarrassing but it’s fine. i need a better backbone when it comes to making stuff. i tend to accept all critique as essential. this is one way to go about creating things, but i don’t think it’s how i want to. i would prefer to make stuff that i just like, exactly how i want to make it. whatever response it garners is just how it is. i need to cultivate that vibe before putting deux à deux out there again.

*i doubt i would ever make MC genderlocked for deux à deux, though. not really my vibe.

so! since i’m not going to be writing deux à deux for i-don’t-know-how-long, i will not be transferring it over to the other site (i forget what it’s called) that is replacing dashingdon. i’m sorry if this is horrible news—i was pretty committed, initially, to writing all of deux à deux within the year once i started. then i graduated college and realized that (unfortunately) money was real and i had literally none of it and no real income. so, for now, real work it is—writing will happen when it’s a good time, but i’m not rushing it.

sorry again for the unfortunate update, but i figured it would be better to be straightforward. thanks again to all of you who reached out, it was really sweet to see all of your messages :,)

Limone the Human

Name: Limone Flores (Lee-moh-neh) Age: Old Enough Species: HUMAN! :) Plant Person Pronouns: They/Them Height: 153cm “I was voted most boring human at my school!”

Limone is a human! One of the most normal ones around, they will assure you. Please ignore their yellowish complexion, vibrant green hair and leaf ‘accessory’. Those are just fashion statements. Well. Not the skin, that's just how they were born! They’d appreciate it if you didn’t make fun of it.

Fun facts:

They're a plant person but not quite. Some misplaced humanity but not enough to count as human. Limone might be doomed to a miserable and lonely existence.

Limone can morph and freely change their body (with some exceptions). Their regular "standard" appearance is that of a short stack. They purposefully keep more humanoid features (like blunt teeth and a shorter tongue)

Very hedonistic, will often do "whatevers easiest"

Lacks Object permanence (this extends towards people)

They're very used to leaving and being left. They don't really register it and will move on easily. (If you ghost them, that is.)

Is a quasi divorcee and was (technically is) married to a priest

Limone vacillates between extreme emotional states (boredom, depression, apathy & extreme euphoria and giddiness).

They regularly squish their own undesirable memories/sensations or Inflict Emotional Amnesia onto themself, with some quick n easy DIY lobotomy.

Even though their memories dont remain in the waking world, they occasionally return as nightmares. Haunting their subconscious mind.

Quick to self harm. Its the easiest outlet they have, whenever they don't understand or are unable to deal with emotional turmoil . To be fair. it doesnt matter much. they regenerate quickly.

Their tendency to hyperfixate on people has let to many an accidental love bombing. Its a little like the sun decided to shine its warmest, most pleasant ray on you. It gets cold quick if or when they they lose interest and move on.

They keep a personal Encyclopedia on the people that they get hyper invested in. It looks like something a stalker would make. ...only they aren't a stalker. They just hyperfixate on people and don't see anything wrong with their little hobby. It includes tame stuff, like, extensive doodles, the persons fashion, color, scent, favorite hobbies/media and food preferences. All the way down to what that persons blood, cum, or tears taste like and which one they like best.

They've never actually gone to school

Friends(?) with Harper, they sell their nectar to her on the side for quick cash and keep a variety of part time jobs until they grow bored of them. Harper is equal parts fascinated and annoyed with Limone since none of her experiments seem to work on them. (Yes. Limone unconsciously contributes to the corruption of the town)

The first fully lucid human they interacted with was Eden. She quickly regretted kidnapping Limone.
