A hypothetical god tier for (Possessed) Anders from Dragon Age: the Mage of Mind.
A Mage of Mind is among those who explore the individual’s impact. They are motivated by themselves to know intuition. (x) The Mage of Mind has trouble forgiving their own mistakes and enjoys challenges. (x) They are the True Genius, defined by introspection and intuition. (x) Their opposite is the Seer of Heart. Their inverse is the Heir of Heart. The Mage of Mind would quest on a planet similar to the Land of Thought and Mind, reigned over by Athena (Goddess of Justice) or the Sphinx (the monster that ate anyone who answered her riddles incorrectly). They would rise to ascension on the wings of dragonflies. (x)(x)(x)

Introduction to my Classpecting Ideas
This felt like a good idea for something to put out before I put my Knight & Page analysis out there, since I plan on making this a 6 part series. (Potentially 7 if demand for a Lord/Muse addendum is high enough).
So, I'll be laying out my most important philosophies on the subject here for future reference.
Classpecting is...
Point A. Classpecting is malleable.
There is not one rigid, set definition for any Class pair, or any Aspect pairing. The freedom of the author is that they may assign any symbolism to a concept that they may like.
What I mean by this is that people often seem to think that manifestations of an Aspect within Homestuck's narrative paint that object or idea as a concept inherently tied to that Aspect.
Example: Pumpkins & Void. You would not believe the amount of people in the early fandom who swore by the idea that pumpkins were inherently just Void constructs because of their role in Homestuck's narrative.
No? Pumpkins symbolise Void in Homestuck itself and Homestuck itself only only due to a running gag inherent to Homestuck itself.
Anything, with enough narrative basis and existing thematic ties, can serve to symbolise an Aspect. Furthermore, two different authors may have different ideas of what Aspect something represents.
Some authors may see alcohol, for example, as a Void-bound concept owing to its obfuscation of fair judgement. Some may see it as a Light-bound concept owing to the idea of 'in vino veritas' and the tendency of drunkenness to induce truthful confessions. Some may see it as a Life-bound concept owing to its associations with hedonism and impulsive behaviour.
With enough narrative consistence, anything is possible. Homestuck's narrative is not as rigid of a point of reference as some people would swear by it being. This is deeply important.
Point B. Classpecting is not the whole of a character.
I can't exactly phrase this in a satisfactory manner, but... a Classpect is not a personality type in of itself. An individual being a Prince of Heart does not instantly make them Dirk Strider. It merely means that their core value is identity & selfhood, and they interact with it by destroying it. It is that simple!
I see, time and time again, Classpecting blogs acting as if a Classpect is indicative of a character's whole personality and giving guides as to the exact behaviours & quirks a character with that Classpect should have.
I am imploring you to explore wider possibilities when it comes to this. Even if it means sharing a title with a canon character! It doesn't mean you have to just rewrite that canon character because that's not how Classpecting works.
I've seen fanventure characters share titles with canon characters. (Sovereignstuck's Annomi Errata & Dynama Zarrow sharing titles with Dirk & Porrim respectively, and Porrim herself is also a player in that narrative, mind you!)
I've seen fanventure characters share titles with eachother. (Vast Error's Dismas Mersiv is a Rogue of Mind. One of my fantrolls is also a Rogue of Mind!)
In every instance, they are fundamentally different people. I cannot put it any simpler than this.
Point C. Classpecting is always applicable.
That is the perfection of the Classpecting system. You can give a title to any character, from anything ever made. It's not even that difficult if you're half-decent at media analysis!
Quite literally all you need to do is ask yourself two questions.
"What's this character's core value?" and "How do they interact with that?" Do that, and you've got yourself a Classpect.
That's the beauty of it! It's obviously not going to be as airtight as a story that has the Classpecting system baked directly into the narrative, but it's still going to work out!
Hell, do it to yourself! Do it to your friends! The world's your oyster. You can do anything you want, forever, for the rest of time. I'm a Seer of Life! My best friend is a Page of Blood! My mother is a Witch of Hope! Go wild.
Post formatting
For my Classpecting posts, I'll aim to give two related definitions for every Class.
Definition A is the narrative function, what the Class says about the person and how they interact with their Aspect as an abstract concept.
Definition B is the practical function, what the Class says about their role in the session and how they interact with their Aspect as a SBURB construct.
Therefore, we get an idea of both the abstract, personal definition of a Classpect, and the functional, game application of a Classpect.
I'll also aim to give about two or three examples for each individual title about how you could write a character with them, since there are always going to be multiple directions you can take with a Classpect.
Conclusion
tl;dr - what I'm trying to say is this. Classpecting is malleable, easily applicable & capable of saying any number of things, and my posts will aim to give two concise definitions of both narrative and practical function for every title.
I'll get the Knight:Page analysis done either today or tomorrow, and the rest of the Class posts will be staggered releases in order of poll results. Thus, the order is going to be:
Knights & Pages, Deficiency and Exploitation.
Mages & Seers, Experience and Comprehension.
Witches & Heirs, Adherence and Manipulation.
Princes & Bards, Instability and Destruction.
Thieves & Rogues, Inundation and Redistribution.
Maids & Sylphs, Maintenance and Generation.
And, potentially...
7. Lords & Muses, Absolution and Dominion.
And then, subsequently, the order for the Aspect posts, which I've decided based on relevance to the canon, roughly speaking anyways...
Space & Time, Genesis and Terminus.
Breath & Blood, Fluidity and Stability.
Light & Void, Potential and Simplicity.
Heart & Mind, Instinct and Dialectics.
Life & Doom, Progress and Stagnation.
Hope & Rage, Conviction and Iconoclasm.
I look forward to the next post. Until then, take care.

Sonic Classpects <3
I designed them to be a twelve player session because I thought that was more fun :-) I didn't necessarily keep gender specific classes/aspects in mind. Do, however, keep in mind that classpects aren't always a one-to-one with characters' personalities. Sometimes, they're roles that they have to come into, or accept.
Also, if anyone draws them in their godtier outfits I will be eternally grateful. Sonic: Heir of Hope Sonic is a symbol of hope; whether he realizes it or not, his actions carry weight. That means that although overall he inspires a positive change— bringing hope to others— if he makes a mistake, it brings despair instead. In this regard, Sonic is hope personified.
Tails: Mage of Light Tails uses knowledge as a weapon, sometimes to his detriment. He's often given seemingly impossible quests, with not much time to complete them. You could argue that he's cursed to be the brains in a team full of brawns. That being said, he seeks out knowledge like a moth drawn to a flame; he lives off of it.
Knuckles: Knight of Rage Knuckles's entire purpose is to protect and serve, both his friends and Angel Island. However, rather than being a level-headed knight archetype, Knuckles is a hot-headed warrior, thinking with his fists, rather than his brain. This leads him to have a bit of an anger problem, which he uses to mask his insecurities. This can also bring rage to those around him.
Amy: Sylph of Heart Amy is self-absorbed, only in the sense that she believes that what is in her heart is always right. Apart from that, she looks to heal the heavy hearts of those around her, even animals and complete strangers. She is caring and giving at her best, and volatile and clingy at her worst.
Metal Sonic: Page of Doom Metal Sonic was built to be a harbinger of doom, and continues to do so of his own volition. He has great potential, but is held back by his own insecurities— which can mean he was programmed with limitations, or that he has a more human side that conflicts with his programming. Because of this, he becomes doomed himself, in an infinite cycle of being destroyed and rebuilt.
Shadow: Prince of Blood Shadow is driven by his bonds, whether it's to his friends or enemies, and those in the past or those in the future. He uses these relationships as excuses to wreak havoc. Therefore, he can be seen as selfish, whether his cause is noble or not. In truth, Shadow is more stubborn than anything. Because he defines himself by his relationships, he is often misunderstood, especially by himself.
Rouge: Thief of Space Rouge is incredibly patient and adaptable, traits that are imparative for a jewel thief. Her passion is taking things for herself, which may be egocentric by nature, but she is known to have good intentions. She is naturally confident when it comes to her abilities, and isn't above using her feminine charm to accomplish her goals.
Blaze: Maid of Mind Blaze is calm and collected, weighing the multitude of options before acting. She also has this effect on others as well, getting them to see her reasoning. She is often rigid, as she's used to making the tough decisions, and carries that burden with responsibility. However, hardships can cause her to act out of character, being paralyzed by choice, or leaving her fiery temper to take over.
Silver: Witch of Time. Silver has been known to manipulate time, both figuratively and literally. While he can time travel with ease, he also has an unwillingness to take things as they are. That being said, he also has a tendency to end up in difficult and dreary situations. He's constantly stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Vector: Rogue of Breath Vector may be a detective, but he doesn't play by the book. He lives as he pleases, being able to slip into the role of leader, bodyguard, comedic relief, etc. However, this can make him hard to pin down. As a detective, he takes others' autonomy by bringing them to justice. This not only helps feed him and his partners, but it also keeps the streets clean.
Espio: Bard of Void Espio is a stealthy character, at first glance. With his ability to become invisible, he's able to stealthily gain the upper hand on his opponent. However, he also has the innate desire to show off; he's cool and he wants others to know it, even if he acts nonchalant about it. In both ways he destroys void: either by filling it or filling its role.
Charmy: Seer of Life Charmy is the charisma and joy of Team Chaotix. He wants to bring life to his friends by being upbeat and having fun. Though he may be a naïve child, he's still attuned to others' feelings, and desires to empower them best he can. He isn't always great at it, sometimes coming off as annoying and overeager instead.

hey, i like your content. fraymotifs are probably more forgotten stuff than kernelsprites and prototyping. anyway, you got ideas for united fraymotif of Page of Light, Maid of Doom, Rogue of Mind, Witch of Heart, Mage of Space and Bard of Time?
Page of Light using information and luck for defense
Maid of Doom creating death and doomed fates around
Rogue of Mind attacking with electricity and transmits thoughts
Witch of Heart manipulates souls and uses them for his own purposes
Mage of Space predicts future and knows where to hit for maximum destruction
and Bard of Time breaks timelines and time to make clones and duplicate objects from other lines
thank you in advance and good luck in promoting your blog!
Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words. You were my first follower, so I'm really glad you've stuck around! Lots of moving parts to this Fraymotif, and it seems that you have an idea what everyone's doing. I will warn you that my interpretations when it comes to Classpecting are a little different, but overall, it's pretty similar.
Brighter Days for the Unison al Coda
Page of Light [one who becomes and becomes fully realized through information, relevance, and fortune] + Bard of Time [one who allows the destruction of and invites destruction through time, change, and activity] + Witch of Heart [one who manipulates and manipulates through emotion, essence, and the self] + Maid of Doom [one who serves and serves through death, decay, and finality] Mage of Space [one who understands and understands through space, creation, and passivity] + Rogue of Mind [one who redistributes and redistributes through reason, order, and consequences]
Brighter Days (Good times to come) + Unison (multiple voices or instruments playing the same note in the same octave) + al Coda (meaning "go to the coda", in reference to music notation that sends the player back to an earlier part in the piece to repeat it.)
The Bard allows destruction both through Time, but also through being active as a component of the Time Aspect. From this, the active Classes (Page, Witch, and Mage) will have a slight "tint" if you will of Time-destruction. Bonus Bard Boosts (TM) ensue.
The Bard sort of weakens the distinction between timelines enough for the Rogue takes a bunch of adjacent near-future possibilities and give them to the Mage. The Mage (who can't really do anything with raw outcome data alone) manifests them into physical time-loop bubbles, which the Mage conjures into physical space, overwriting pockets of the area around them. These bubbles basically are a fully-immersive loop wherein some or all of the Mage's allies fight the Targets in various ways in snippets of alternate near-future events.
The Witch takes all instances of each Target both in and out of these bubbles, and modifies their in-game ID value (because SBUB is still very much a game at Heart) until they read as the same identical unit. The Maid then "flags" this ID value to update all of the connected Targets' health vials simultaneously, causing any damage dealt to one to reflect on all other instances. All of the instances being attacked on loop in the time bubbles around rack up exponentially across all other instances thanks to the Maid.
The Witch harnesses the Page's self-realization, and forces it to break past the barriers present in their personal journey, sort of similar to how Aranea got Jake to do a Hopey thing but more direct and targeted. The Rogue again gives knowledge of the various possible futures to the beefed-up Page, and with aid from the Bonus Bard Boosts (TM) for passively destroying Time, the Page uses their command over relevance and fortune to defy the intended "alpha timeline" by just enough to force canon to follow the events of the Fraymotif.
The Maid has to serve Doom as the basis of their powers, but they cant just go about facilitating the end of the current timeline with how relevant the Page and their allies are at the moment. The solution to this is to get the Mage to teleport them out of the scene (and possibly into a wall, wherein they may waste away from a potassium defeciency), giving them the privilage of dying off-screen, irrelavent. Before the timeline can succumb to its ill fate, the Rogue takes the looped outcomes all around the place and uses the gaping hole in the timeline that the Bard forgot to close up (time slipped away from them and they weren't able to get to it yet) to toss the outcomes back where they found them. The Page's Lighty Thing dies down as the Maid and Witch work in tandem to work the limiter back onto the Page.
The Targets from this timeline are brought back by the Mage, but up in the air so they take fall damage, ending the Fraymotif.
To be completely honest, I thought I had published this one already, but I just saved the draft. My bad lol

Hi there! I really like your ideas and I also have a request for you, I hope so many players are okay?
Mage/Space, Witch/Heart, Page/Light, Rogue/Mind, Bard/Time and Maid/Doom
One fraymotif is enough, thanks in advance!
Mage/Space + Witch/Heart + Page/Light + Rogue/Mind + Bard/Time + Maid/Doom
[NO NAME]
First, The Rogue of Mind switches the minds of a certain target groups and the witch of heart manipulates souls of the dead to haunt each one. The Page of Light then gives them the following information:
"You need to guide the souls of the body you inherit to a certain place. you have the following amount of time until you are reseted back by the bard of time."
And finally, the Mage of Space & the Maid of Doom Upkeep the rules and the position of each target. And the bard of time destroys passively every time a target doesn't reach the place in time.
So the final result is a bunch of shuffled minds, in a state of groundhog day, all forced to convince guide the souls that the person they inhabiting wronged to a very specific place in the Session to escape it.
A absolute mind-tricker, and a creative way to lock a group of people in a time loop purgatory.

Hey!! I have a small(?) list of quadrants to analysis, if you'd like?
Heir of Hope <3 Knight of Mind Knight of Rage <3 Mage of Time Witch of Time <3< Page of Space Maid of Light <> Bard of Mind Witch of Space <> Page of Heart Maid of Blood (mediator) Witch of Time c3< Rogue of Heart
ok! rushing thru these
an heir of hope and a knight of mind would be a pretty healthy relationship. the heir of hope slowly learn their own footing and positivity, finding their ground. i think they could definitely give the knight a gentle hand to lead them through their own journey of finding themself as well.
a knight of rage is going to be.. an interesting one to date. the mage is not one for spontaneous action, which might not pair well. especially with a knight of rage, who thrives off of chaos and uses it to their advantage.
a witch of time would DEFINITELY be against a page of space. i think that the witch could very well be the catalyst for the page's development and growth. the witch is very "now, now, now!" which might frustrate the page, but help them see their own journey.
maid of light and bard of mind seems SO yummy. i think that the maid will be able to help the bard significantly. they're both going to be quite logical, and i think they'd bounce off each other very well.
i think the witch and the rogue are an interesting kismesis to look at here. again, i think the witch is just doing their own thing, which is going to be hard for the rogue to cope with. the maid is a very good mediator, here, seeing as they just KNOW relationships like that.

10 Things Solavellans Agree On
Since I've been rolling around in Solavellan Hell for the last six months like a chinchilla in a dirt bath, I've been collecting little headcanons across the community.
I thought I'd share some of them. If you don't see yours that you absolutely swear by, you are honor bound to reblog or reply to this post so I can know about. These are either things I've had hours long conversations about or just notice a particular trend across several fanfictions/art.
He is an ass man. There's no way he isn't. He just can't keep his hands to himself.
He'll take any excuse to punish himself for his mistakes. Because everything is his fault forever. (Pretty sure this is just a fact tbh)
He has a horrendous sweet tooth. It's not just frilly cakes, he just enjoys sweet things in general.
He's a generous/caring lover. He gets his fulfillment out of his partner's fulfillment, not necessarily his own.
He's 8 inches and uncut. Boy is packing in front as well as in the trunk. (I can't take credit for this, the NSFW portion of the Fen'Harem is to blame and there was... uhhh a lot of consensus.)
He has a breeding kink. Thanks for this one, Trick; we know it was a joke, we just also all agree with you.
The travel to and from Crestwood makes no goddamn sense. Did he drag Lavellan out a week's travel by horseback just to panic and dump her? Was the ride home awkward as fuck? Did she bitterly leave him to walk his ass home? The world may never know.
Lavellan cried to dehydration and/or got irresponsibly drunk after Crestwood, and some poor member of the Inquisiton had to deal with it. Jury's out on who, I've seen Dorian or Varric most frequently, but my personal headcanon is Cassandra (who was 3 steps away from beating Solas' ass at any given moment afterward).
Solas, on the other hand, had a sad wank. Possibly several. Man has probably sad wanked a lot from Crestwood forward to be honest.
Whatever happens after Veilguard with these two, it involves a lot of fucking. It doesn't matter what your headcanon was for whether or not they had banged up until this point; once they retire to the Fade, everything is sexy times.
Bonus: 5 Personal Headcanons
These ones are less widely accepted, but my personal thoughts. Enjoy.
He's a mischievous partner. He knows where Lavellan is ticklish, taps her on the opposite shoulder when he approaches, and does other little pranky things (that are harmless, but teasing).
He's a switch. This is probably the most contested thing about any character, but I feel like Solas is too ephemeral and malleable a character to forever be a dom or sub exclusively.
Hates restrictive clothing. Veilguard was literally a form of torture; his loose hobo robes are his actual comfort zone.
After Veilguard, legitimately wants to learn everything he can about Dalish history. He didn't give it any mind before, but now it's clear how much it matters and the reason why is now by his side for the rest of forever.
I'm kind of a non-mage Lavellan truther, but I like the separation it gives them; they already have so much overlap in common as a mirror it's nice that there's one thing that really sets them apart. Mine was a rogue, but I have a special place in my heart for warrior Lavellans who have definitely fireman carried that man to bed more than once.

With Emmrich's romance which version do u prefer lich or not? And why?
Oh this is a hard one for me, I am very torn on which path I prefer.
Thank you so much for asking!
Allow me to explain why I am torn -
Lich Path
This path holds a place in my heart. On one hand, Emmrich has achieived his dreams of lichdom and averted his fear of death. We love an ambitious king who remains irrevocably in love. But he has not faced his fear, he averted it. Emmrich's fear of death most likely stems from his parents and with being apart of the Watchers since he was a child - similar to Rook Ingellvar. If Emmrich takes up lichdom, his fear of death does not dissapear, it transfers to Rook.
Whilst both mortal and lich Emmrich fear Rook's death quite heavily, when Emmrich is a lich, this fear is based around Rook's death and Emmrichs inevitable grief that will follow for eternity. I am of the mind where I believe that Emmrich would 'go rogue' if Rook were to pass on. Purely because of the type of love they share, Emmrich's past, and that he would not be able to cope with the loss of the flame of his heart. The most magnificant thing to ever happen to him.
In saying that, when Emmrich takes up lichdom, Rook states that Emmrich has everything he needs to tackle Lichdom. (i.e., you can accept the death of others, including Rook). Incredibly wrong, so incredibly wrong as seen throughout the rest of the romance following. A) His argument with Rook about death and living without them for eternity (man would go rogue due to who he is as a person), B) He is found by Davrin crying in his room, alone, after the death of Manfred. C) Throughout the banter in the game, Emmrich avoids and/or is cold to the topic of Manfred's death. Dismissing and avoiding any claim that he misses him.
Emmrich is not equipped to take up lichdom because he feels so deeply, and loves so deeply. So fucking deeply. He borderlines being an empath with OCPD if you wanna get literal. His obsessions and compulsions being death, affection, and magic.
Whilst I believe that both paths embody the soulmate trope, I adore this path because it transcends reality and they would, Emmrich would, find Rook in each world. Through any means neccessary. Yes - Emmrich is about rules and order, and is gentle and kind, but this man (now lich lord) is a powerful mage. A very powerful mage who can speak to the dead. There are hints throughout his romance that he would go unhinged should his weakness (Rook) be exploited (aka, dead). Read about and see more below -
See cinematic here, and dissection of the romance here.
Mortal Path
View Cinematic
dissection of mortal romance path scene
I am yet to dissect the mortal argument & romance scene, however they will be coming shortly, but for now I will expand my thoughts here. You can find the intial romance dissection here .
Mortal Emmrich path is incredibly wholesome and fullfilling. Emmrich gives up his dream for his love for Manfred. Whilst this is heartwarming to others, it does not tick my boxes personally. I wouldve preferred Emmrich consideration of mortality to be a mixture of Rook and Manfred. In saying that though, Emmrich's lichdom path has a significant amount of more romance-esque dialogue. Particularly in the romance and lichdom decision scenes. So it's an odd choice for the developers, or an oversight. I think I am turned off by it a tad because there is minimal fear towards Rook's death. Whereas Lich Emmrich is devastatingly scared. Idk, I'm in two minds.
I really do love the mortal path as I believe it adds more depth to Emmrich, it adds a layer of resilence instead of avoidance. Thinking of the romance scenes, the mortal scene is about love and wanting eachother, whereas the lich path is about desire and acceptance. Both are remarkable. God this is hard.
Emmrich's fear of death does extend to Rook during the argument scene and this is evident throughout the rest of the game and romance. Stating that he is afraid he will die and be a burden to Rook. These romance argument scenes are flipped in retrospect - In the mortal scene, Emmrich fears his own death will hurt Rook, and is terrified of that because he loves her so much. In the lich scene, Emmrich is terrified of Rook's death and the pain it will cause him because he loves her so much. My one grivenance with this scene is that Emmrich can say, "At your age?" in a condescending tone which I think it very out of character. But aso backs up my point that he has a fire to him.
However, the mortal romance has a significant amount of benefit to it. A) Emmrich somewhat learns to deal with his mortality, B) He has Manfred, C) They can spend their post-game days enjoying their life together, instead of the fear that will forever creep on Lich Emmrich.
I implore you to also remeber that it is evident that mortal path Emmrich believes that he is 'too old' to enjoy this type of love. He never thought it would come to fruition. This is evident by the banter, dialogue, and flirt options throughout the game. "its gratifying a fresh faced adventurer noticed me at all" and more. Hence his fear and feelings of burden towards Rook being evident in the argument scene.
Additionally, Emmrich grew up poor. This would impact his view on society and love. But more impactfully, it would impact his view on himself. His self-worth. Emmrich likely thinks he doesnt deserve this type of love. Hence the attempt to push Rook away and act over-suave at times. I'll break this down more later.
Give The Eternal Flame a read.
At the end of the day, Rook was right. Things would be easier to deal with if Manfred were around.
Verdict
I really, really, really love both and Im really torn between them because they are both fantastic and have individual meaning whilst remaining true to the concept that Emmrich and MW Rook are made for eachother. Soulmates. It honestly pains me to say, but at this point in time - I think at the end of the day, as much as I love the Lich romance, and the more content it posesses. Like, love love love the lich romance. Unless there was a canon way in the future for Rook to join him in Lichdom, I prefer the mortal romance path.
This is due to 3 reasons -
A) Whilst the romance content in game is better for his Lich romance and appeals more to my favourute tropes, becoming a lich lord is not something Emmrich is equipped for. He would need a romanced Rook to join him to be 'fine', if that. Inevitably, Lichdom is his way to avert his fears, not face them.
B) Mages can live for an incredibly long time. Especially ones that are entwined with the Fade. Even more so ones that can speak to the dead. I think there is some meaning for that we will uncover in future game adaptions.
C) Emmrich states that he is happier with Rook and Manfred and would not give it up for anything. Whilst both romance scenes are incredibly powerful and romantic, the mortal romance scene is a masterpiece with facial expressions and tension. You can feel the love. Whilst you can feel the love in the Lich romance scene, it is centered around acceptance. See below.
At the end of the day it comes back to the question of what would Emmrich's parents want for him? The question that confirms his romance. They would want him to be happy, with someone who cares for him. That person being Rook. Emmrich would be happy for the rest of his life. Emmrich has yearned for this love his entire life. Lich Emmrich would be happy, for a time. Then descend into madness, leaving him unhappy and distraught.

Zora Ideale x reader
“Id let the world burn.. let the world burn for you”
Fluff (sweet sweet romance).
Tw: battle
In the kingdom of Clover, nestled deep within a shadowy forest, a secluded hideout glowed faintly beneath the star-lit sky. Zora Ideale was leaning against the moss-covered walls, arms crossed, a familiar smirk on his face as he looked at Y/N.
"You really think you’re cut out for this, huh?" he teased, his eyes flickering with mischief. Despite his taunts, there was a sharpness to his gaze—a certain intensity that told Y/N he was dead serious.
Y/N met his gaze, unwavering. “I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t.”
The mission they’d taken on was nothing short of reckless. A powerful rogue mage was terrorizing a nearby village, his fire-based spells blazing through crops, homes, and people without mercy. Rumor had it he’d mastered a rare form of destructive magic, one powerful enough to incinerate entire landscapes in seconds. The Magic Knights hadn’t been able to get close to him, but Zora, with his traps and cunning, had a plan—one that might be crazy enough to work.
Zora pushed himself off the wall, studying Y/N with an almost begrudging admiration. “Alright, then. Just remember, this guy doesn’t play nice. If things get bad, I’m not dragging your charred remains out of there.”
Y/N rolled their eyes. “I’ll keep that in mind.”
---
The night of the mission was darker than any they’d seen, the air heavy with an ominous energy. The village lay in ruins, embers glowing like fallen stars. The rogue mage stood in the center, flames swirling around him as if he commanded hell itself.
Zora and Y/N crept through the shadows, moving in sync as they approached. Zora’s traps were already laid out, hidden in the soil, branches, and rocks that surrounded the mage. The plan was simple: draw him into the traps, wear him down, and neutralize his fire magic before he could set the entire forest ablaze.
As they edged closer, the mage’s voice echoed across the field. “More vermin? Don’t you know this kingdom is destined to burn?” He raised his hands, summoning pillars of fire that twisted into the night sky.
Another rogue mage emerged from the shadows, flames dancing in his hands as he sneered at them. “More sacrifices to the fire? Pathetic,” he spat, raising his hands as a wall of flame surged forward.
“Guess he’s not big on friendly chats,” Zora muttered. He caught Y/N’s eye, nodding subtly. “You ready?”
Y/N gave a fierce grin, hands sparking with their own magic. They dashed forward, sending a blast of energy toward the mage, a distraction just as Zora’s first trap exploded beneath him, sending flames scattering.
The mage stumbled, and for a brief moment, surprise flashed across his face. He steadied himself, snarling. “You think a few cheap tricks are going to stop me?”
“Oh, these aren’t just any cheap tricks,” Zora called, smirking. He moved swiftly, his traps surrounding the mage like a net tightening around its prey. Each step the mage took was another explosion, another snare drawing him in, slowing him down.
But the mage was relentless, his fire blazing brighter and hotter with each step. “If I’m going down,” he growled, “I’m taking all of you with me. Ill burn this place down!!”
In that moment, he released a massive wave of fire that scorched the ground, threatening to overtake them. Y/N shielded their face, heart pounding as the flames closed in. They glanced at Zora, who was already muttering under his breath, cursing the mage’s raw power.
“Got any last ideas?” Y/N shouted over the roar of the flames.
Zora grinned, his eyes glinting. “Just one.”
With that, he unleashed a final trap—a massive sigil he’d crafted from all his remaining power, one designed to absorb and reflect magic. The fire turned back on the mage, who stumbled in shock as his own flames engulfed him.
The firestorm subsided, the mage’s screams fading into silence. Zora panted, wiping sweat from his brow. He turned to Y/N, who was breathing heavily but very much alive.
“Told you we’d make it,” he said, his smirk softer this time.
Y/N laughed, exhaustion catching up with them as they gazed at the smoldering ruins of the village. “Yeah. But let’s not make this a habit.”
Zora chuckled, glancing out over the burnt land, his expression uncharacteristically thoughtful. "Maybe we can’t save everyone. But at least, tonight, we stopped one more from letting the world burn to a crisp."
Y/N met his gaze, understanding the unspoken weight in his words. They both knew that, as long as people like that rogue mage existed, they’d be fighting to protect those who couldn’t protect themselves.
In the stillness of a smoky battlefield, embers floated through the darkening sky, casting a soft glow across the destruction. Zora Ideale and Y/N stood side by side, shoulders brushing as they faced the chaos ahead. The village behind them was in ruins, and the rogue mage responsible was lurking somewhere beyond the haze, a figure in the distance draped in shadow and power.
Zora’s usual cocky smirk was absent, replaced with a focused intensity that seemed almost out of character. He was rarely one to get sentimental, but right now, as he looked at Y/N, something inside him shifted. He couldn’t quite place it, but there was a strange, fierce protectiveness that had been growing with each passing day, each mission they’d taken on together.
Y/N shook their head, soft look etched on their face. “You really think I’d leave you there alone?”
Zora gritted his teeth, glancing away as though he could hide the faint hint of vulnerability in his eyes. “Don’t be stupid. This isn’t about heroics. It’s about surviving.”
Without a second thought, Zora pushed Y/N behind him, raising his own traps as a shield, his anti-magic arrays sparking to life. The flames struck his magic circles and dispersed, but the impact was strong enough to make him stumble. He glanced back at Y/N, a strange fire in his own gaze. From the other mange that they seemingly forgot about.
“Listen to me,” he said, his voice thick with an edge Y/N had never heard before. “I know you want to stay. I get it. But I’d let the world burn before I let anything happen to you.”
Y/N blinked, taken aback by the intensity in his words. They’d seen Zora angry, bitter, and mischievous, but they’d never seen him like this—like he was willing to set everything around him ablaze if it meant keeping them safe.
“Zora…” Y/N began, but he cut them off, stepping forward and raising another set of traps around the rogue mage, boxing him in.
“I’m not leaving you to handle this alone,” Y/N insisted, standing at his side, their own magic flaring in the dim light.
He shot them a quick, hard look, but there was something else there—something raw and unspoken. “Fine,” he muttered, “but you stick with me, understand?”
Together, they charged, weaving through flames and traps, their powers combining in perfect sync. The rogue mage screamed, thrashing against Zora’s traps and Y/N’s attacks, but he was growing weaker, his flames dimming. But as he fell back, he unleashed a final, massive blast of fire—a desperate move to take them all down with him.
Time seemed to slow as Zora turned to Y/N, eyes fierce and wild. He knew this blast could wipe out everything, and if it came to it, he was ready to shield them, to stand in the flames and keep them safe even if it meant sacrificing himself.
But Y/N met his gaze with a look just as intense. “Together,” they whispered, their hand finding his.
The firestorm hit, but with Zora’s last trap and Y/N’s barrier, they managed to deflect it just enough to survive. When the flames finally died down, Zora was breathing heavily, staring at the charred ground, his hand still gripping Y/N’s tightly.
“I wasn’t kidding, y’know,” he said quietly, his voice barely audible. “I’d let the world burn before I let anything happen to you.”
Y/N squeezed his hand, a small, grateful smile tugging at their lips. “Good thing we’re both a little reckless, then.”
And as the embers faded into the night, they stood together, side by side, knowing that, for each other, they would face any fire, even if it meant watching the world burn.
After the dust had settled and the rogue mage was nothing more than a smoldering memory, Zora and Y/N made their way back to the Black Bulls’ hideout. The journey was quiet, neither of them quite knowing what to say after what had just happened. The intensity of the fight, of Zora’s words, still lingered between them like a charge in the air. It felt like they were walking through sparks, each step building toward something they both felt but hadn’t acknowledged aloud.
By the time they reached the Black Bulls’ base, the rest of the squad was asleep, and the hideout was dark and quiet, save for the occasional flickering candle lighting the hallways. Zora led Y/N to a secluded corner of the base, somewhere away from prying eyes, somewhere only the two of them would go. The adrenaline of the battle was fading, replaced by an even stronger pull between them.
Zora turned to Y/N, the faint candlelight casting shadows across his face, making his usual smirk softer, almost vulnerable. His eyes locked onto theirs, and he reached out, brushing his fingertips over a stray bruise on their cheek from the fight. His hand lingered there, his thumb moving softly along their skin, his gaze intense.
“You really had me worried back there,” he murmured, his voice low, almost a whisper. “I meant what I said, you know…about letting the world burn for you.”
Y/N looked up at him, their breath hitching at the way he was looking at them—so fierce, so raw, as if they were the only thing in the world. Slowly, they reached up, placing their hand over his, feeling the warmth of his skin against theirs.
“Zora…I know,” they replied, their voice equally quiet, as if afraid to break the tension hanging between them.
Without thinking, Zora leaned in, his breath warm against their skin. “You have a way of getting under my skin, you know that?”
Y/N gave a small, teasing smile. “Guess that makes two of us.”
That was all the encouragement he needed. In an instant, Zora closed the distance, his lips capturing theirs in a kiss that was intense and full of unspoken words, a release of everything they’d been holding back. The kiss was fierce, but gentle, his hands finding their way to their waist, pulling them closer, as if he couldn’t bear for even an inch to separate them.
Y/N responded with equal fervor, fingers tangling in his hair as they pressed closer, losing themselves in the moment. They’d never seen Zora like this—vulnerable, open, his usual bravado stripped away, replaced with a genuine need that made their heart race.
He pulled back just slightly, his forehead resting against theirs, breathing heavily as he looked into their eyes. His voice was rough, laced with something that bordered on desperation. “I don’t know what you’ve done to me, Y/N…but I don’t care anymore.”
In that quiet, hidden corner of the Black Bulls’ base, they held each other close, letting the walls around them disappear. For once, Zora let down his guard completely, allowing himself to feel, to embrace the connection that had been building between them all this time. It wasn’t just about the fight, or even the fact that they’d survived. It was about the way they’d found something worth protecting, something worth risking it all for.
They stayed like that for what felt like an eternity, savoring the warmth, the closeness, the way they seemed to fit together so perfectly. And in that moment, in the dim light of the hideout, they knew that no matter what battles awaited them, they would face them together.
I got bored so heres some ZORAAAA!! Hope you enjoy! Who knows smut maybbe next 🤭
