I always forget about Sigyn. Probably because only Rick Riordan mentions her, while things like marvel comics barely ever touch on her. Loki's wife, who's sat by his side for untold centuries, crying blood as she mourns her dead children. Sigyn no longer speaks, her eyes a constant stream of red. She guards her husband from the acid of the snake, but the gods never let her protect him enough. Her husband always suffers, and he always blames her whenever he suffers. But still she stays by his side. They'll be together for all of time, prisoners to the unjust whims of the aesir. I mourn for Sigyn, and I mourn for Loki as well.

Magnus and Ben are like these dorkish sweet people. WHO LITERALLY USED THE POWER OF FUCKING FRIENSHIP TO DEFEAT THE MAIN VILLAIN??? And they both look at mal/alex like with so much love, and it's NATURAL LIKE THEY JUST CAN'T HELP IT. And they LOVE THEM FOR THEM.

Like yeah Mal and Alex are who are EXPECTED TO BE VILLAINS, but they aren't.

And Mal and Alex are two people who are what I would describe as unapologetically themselves in every way, shape, and form. They're messy, a little mean, teasing, and both try not to show how they actually feel sometimes. Like a part of them probably wonder wtf does this gooey dorkish nice nerd want me? Do they realise who the fuck I actually am. Only for them to see that they are in fact loved fully for WHO they are, including their kinda societally unaccepted side of themselves. And that's BEAUTIFUL TO ME.

And I find it beautiful that Alex and Mal would never change who they are for Ben/Magnus or society. And Magnus and Ben KNOW THIS AND LOVE THEM FOR IT. They love themmmmmm. Bruh I'm insane.

Just two dorkish nerdy boys and their scary asf shape-shifter girlfriends. CAUSE YEAH BOTH ALEX AND MAL CAN SHAPESHIFT. But that's a story for another day.

To add on though. NAH CAUSE, the ridiculous scene in descendants one were Ben serenades Mal publicly at the sports event thing is equivalent to the flyting scene were Magnus starts talking simping spells and admiration about Alex.
