I had some stuff that was only posted on my (now deleted) Twitter account a few months back, so I figured I should post them here as well.

Speckle (Memory Merge) fanart finished on 26 May 2024, 3 days of work.

hey yonkagor fans if you wanna see something cool i spent way too much time making then i'd like to show you this:

i wrote down all the lyrics but also tried to get the font, color, text style, and highlight as close as possible to whats shown on screen

ok so the new yonkagor song memory feels like a new and improved version of paper alibis, in a sense a reversed perspective on it. in terms of the music, the emphasis on certain rhythms are similar to a pn uncanny degree, to the point where you can replace the memory merge lyrics with paper alibis lyrics (swap “through all this trauma I suffered, to live it out and be born now stronger” with “now I’m crafting paper alibis, because I’m too weak for real goodbyes”) and lyrically the song paper alibis is about someone being forced to make up excuses and lies, with it all falling apart in the end, while memory merge is about someone finding out and taking down someone’s web of lies, you can even see it in the album cover of paper alibis (the sticky notes on the wall) and in the mv of the song (all the paper tied up with red string). also the return of the brass is something that I have needed for a very long time. this is defo the best yonkagor song to date, and I don’t mean that superficially.
