i actually don’t think he would. i think he’d take the sonic approach and give him another chance. it’s not like speedy can really do anything world threatening without the rest of the empire so like- he’s kinda just some guy at that point

Since my first piece of fan art I ever posted for ST was my Jancy/Byler Titanic AU, why not make some fan art for another Byler Titanic AU?

I decided to do some sketchs of @cherbearsz Titanic AU designs because I think they are really cool. I did come up with my own idea for Mike’s evening wear based on the red dress Rose wears when she has dinner with Jack and also because I’m a fashion history nerd and had the internal urge to put him in an evening tux (pretend the bow tie and waist coat is red and not blue).

Still trying to be more active here, so here's another years old fic/au idea

It's a mv shared-surface story, except when swap and fell's barriers are broken at the same time, something exceptionally odd happens. All monsters who have an equivalent alternate get fuzed with them. This, of course, means Stretch and Edge wind up trapped in one body together.

I'm pretty sure in the initial idea they'd already met due to Machine Shenanigans and didn't exactly get along, so aside from all the more general reasons anyone would be unhappy about the situation, they're especially put out.

Monsters agree to stay in their merged underground until the scientists can figure something out to get them all separated again. But in the meantime, all they can really do otherwise is wait.

So the main plot of the fic is essentially just Stretch and Edge (and their friends n brothers) learning how to manage this. Tensions skyrocket almost immediately due to the drastically different lifestyles between the universes, but as everyone learns to adapt, things (mostly) smooth over.

It was a lot of fun to think about what their shared body would be like, what traits and struggles they'd have, how they'd adapt. It was also very sweet once they do start to communicate more and find their stride.

I never got as far as an ending but presumably they get un-fuzed and finally join whoever else is already on the surface, and of course Edge and Stretch wind up together. Considered there being Cherryberry too, but I run so hot and cold with that pairing I never fully committed lol

Watched film Red recently and anyway AU where after abandonning Uta in Elegia, Uta manages to convince Gordon that 'hey living on a island where everyone is dead is not the best place to raise a kid' and due to a convoluted plot that can only be made by an actual child, they move to Dawn Island.

Anyway this'd be after Shanks last visit there but before Garp moves Luffy to the forest so Luffy is like :D Uta you're not dead (because him and the village totally assumed "she's in a better place to learn to become a musician" meant she died, yeah.)

They probably get into a fight over the fact Uta now hates Pirates and especially Shanks (and refuses to admit she feels jealous and mad over the fact Shanks left Luffy his hat and a dream, when he didn't even say goodbye to her), soon after Luffy is sent to the Bandits, and Gordon finds a job as a music teacher in High Town.

Time passes and Uta forgives Luffy even if she still hates pirates, they probably met a few times but she doesn't truly reconcile with him for a while (maybe after Sabo's "death"?). Ace and Uta hates each other at first but find an agreement in the mutual hatred of their father for choosing piracy over their kids.

When he set sails, Luffy invites her to join his crew. She refuses.

Gordon and her are pretty popular in High Town as music teacher/musicians, despite being outsider. Being from Elegia does bring some prestige, even if the island doesn't exist anymore. They're not part of high society but the nobles being able to invite them as musician for a party is seen as a sign of idk being rich or something.

I guess she still becomes the one piece equivalent of a youtuber but instead of planning to change the world and destroy piracy or something, she ends up somehow joining the Revolution Army. Not so much as an active member, but maybe more the kind that goes around everywhere and brings information and contacts. (I don't have the details in mind though - anyway she does meet Sabo there, but since he doesn't recognise her she just assumes he decided to abandon Luffy and Ace. She never finds out about the whole Amnesia thing - or if she does it's after he gets his memories back. Her abandonment issues are off the charts.)

He was playing it when his father broke it, a song he'd just started learning, but had the rhythm down. Storming in and snapping the neck of it, saying nothing to his objections, but telling him he would never amount to anything nevertheless. Didn't you want to be a scientist? Then what's with the damn guitar. You're not cut out for either.

He never fixed it, couldn't bear it.

Hasn't played since.

Years have passed since then. He's proved the old man wrong, in every line, every chemical formula. And.. in other ways, too.

He has a new guitar, shiny and fresh. The most thoughtful thing anyone's done; there have been a lot of those. New chance, new start. Never thought he'd pick up another one, but here he is, through no choice of his own. Nosy bastard. But the lines of the frets remind him- guitars can only differ so much- and he has old, unfinished business.

And, when he has a quiet moment to himself, after the confusion and the thank you, after wondering how in the hell the other had put the pieces together and found out, he picks her up and begins to play.

It's been years, but he's pretty sure this is the note he left off on; he wouldn't forget.

couple of things!

the convo between reader and their mother about greed was inspired by a convo i had with my mom a long time ago. a bit different context though (obviously) bc it was more in the sense of not having a desire for luxury or material goods. the word she used was 욕심 which.. to me doesn't have a negative connotation like greed since it can also be used with ambition. anyways. interesting time trying to translate that lol

i told you this in dms but i wanna share here too ghdjkfghd the hair tying scene was inspired by a scene from the coffin of andy and leyley. i haven't played it but i did watch a vtuber playthrough and the scene where andy asked his gf to tie up his hair.... yeah. crazy work

i don't know what happened. i think fe3h's 5th year anniversary just passed and i remembered he existed and well! it was originally supposed to be a character study drabble about how he coped with his brother's death but i got crazy horny over him so... this... happened instead... LOL

one of those fics where i wrote it with one hand in my pants in like maybe 2 weeks. i also reread it recently and actually enjoyed my writing for once so i'd like to think it holds up!
