I get tied up which design I like more. I honestly love the covers of the fall or reach and first strike as my favorite armor. I do see what you’re saying with the halo 5 helmet! And he definitely looks the most “Fred” lol

On another tales from my father: his first reaction to seeing Fred’s halo 5 armor was “his helmet looks like the back of a jet.” Lol bro was a pilot for most of his life

Can't say that I see it, but I will defer to dad's judgement as he's got much more historical experience to draw from. > w < I do always appreciate hearing about his Halo input; thank you for providing. But. Ah. You've got me thinking about my lost love: the Centurion. I know it is not a popular opinion at all, but I actually really liked the Halo 4 and 5 armours. I had been a big fan of Gabriel Garza's work prior, so his design approach to things was something I was familiar with and appreciated. Fred's Centurion helmet though was my absolute favourite. The look and shape of it suited him, and the faceplate had the uncanny ability to pass on "expressions" based on the angle it was tilted or viewed from. It gave off some of the best concerned and anxious looks, which really worked for Fred. It just felt 'him' to me, right down to the name of it. (As an aside: my highest opinion is that I preferred when Blue Team all wore the same armour, in the same colour, just with various attachable favoured modifications. I liked when they were strapped with gear and wore packs. I don't like the endlessly growing list of niche MJOLNIR variants. But: video game. So. : \ ) Just my own opinion, and I don't mean to challenge or upset anyone who feels differently, but the new Cohort helmet is so ugly to me. Not a single redeeming quality. Repellent if I'm being honest. It's clunky-in-a-bad-way and looks like a poorly executed attempt to make something that straddles the line of retro and modern - failing from both ends. All I see in it is a rejected overdesigned concept made by a vacuum cleaner company in the early 90s. It doesn't match in visual tone or era to anything else and the hyperblue house paint they covered the rest of him in? Please. ; n ; I genuinely avoid seeking out anything with him in or on it anymore because A) I think he looks terrible, and B) I don't like the character archetype he's been moulded into these days. Just not appealing to me at all. Sorry for the sad Fred words. With regards to Halo 5 though, it sure did...a lot of things. There is more than enough to say about the very many choices that were made for what was Blue Team's video game debut. But for me at least, their physical appearance is not on that list of problems.

Cloud is freaking out, because how is is possible Sephiroth is back already. Oh god, he can't do this again! He's still healing from the last fight!

Is this going to become a thing? Is Sephiroth able to come back in less than a week now? How many fights in short succession can he survive?

Then, in the middle of his panic attack, Cloud gets another message.

Uh, okay. That's kinda weird. That isn't really how Sephiroth talks or writes... Then, a few minutes later, Cloud gets yet another message.

I mean I'm not normally in the habit of being evil or intimidating but a guy with a tendency to be typecast as Jeff Blim characters can dream y'know

I'm dying because I have this really great fic idea for my husband (Hector), and it's great because it brings in his whole "Breaker of horses" title... but I'm in the breakfast unit of school now, and I wake up at 4 in the morning, so I'm too tired to write!😭😭😭

The famous " Got a sudden rush of craving to write in the most inconvenient of times when I physically can't do that", it happens to me all the time.

Isolation

My night time thoughts.

My heart feels so open

God has been protecting me. That’s been my reason for isolation so much. It’s a protection from the outside bad. The demons been coming they been attached some. They got hold. But I’m not weak , I haven’t been to weak to get caught up in what was around me. God been talking to me. He been proteching me and loving me. The outside world that doesn’t matter. I been chilling and fighting my own mental demons. I been balancing my good and bad. I been becoming aware of the bad in my life. I did a lot of self reflection. I seen what was wrong in the world. What the problem been. People deciding not to choose themselves. The ones that been hurt or been through trauma. People reliving their trauma. By unwilling being that thing that hurt them. Or even living in a place of fear. The world is so fucked up. We not unity in the people. It’s all ego driven and chasing money. I had to ask myself how did I play part of it how even how have I been acting. I had to mirror the bad I seen to see if I had any attachments. I did I had thoughts of it. Never chased the actions of every thought. But I know what’s it like to live in the dark. I also know what’s it like when that inner pulling is pushing you towards someone better. I know the fear that comes up towards that. The thoughts of not knowing how or what’s next. The insecurities of not feeling worthy of having the life you dream of. But it’s all possible, god been showing us the way. He’s been putting those visions in our mind. The sense of happiness. Dreams can come true. We just have to go after it and stop living in fear. Stop worrying about the outside world. Learn to focus on self and dream. Make the steps you need too especially when it’s uncomfortable. Nothing worth having will come easy. It’s a reason why it’s so hard to go after what you want. It’s demons holding you down. False beliefs and fears that was put in your mind. That’s what’s stopping it. That’s what’s stopping you. The fear is what keeps you in same place.
