{ i've never actually finished a legacy challenge before but I am ridiculously attached to my main save sims so hopefully I will this time 😭I'm going to be starting the barbie legacy challenge by @sims-himbo, modified to fit where we're at with gen 2 }
ok so actually speaking when i say modified i mean like, super modified. i genuinely cannot bring myself to name so many sims barbara guys 😓 but after mercedes has a kid i'll probably give them the middle name barbie (like trisha paytas' kid ☠🧍‍♀️) BUT, just so we have some backstory on everything thats going on right now, here's a recap.
DAPHNE MAE CASTRO is the fourth and last child of Emilie and Jonah Castro, my gen 1 sims. She's clumsy, loves the outdoors, a romantic, unforgettable, and wants to be a housewife. Take care of her garden, her daughter, and live a nice, happy, life. TAKING AFTER HER OLDER BROTHER ROMAN, she is also a little too romantic. In fact she is so flirty that she ends up in really, really awkward situations. Like when she kissed her best friend Ciara at prom and then ran away which started an argument that ended with her crying in the shower at home. TO GET OVER THIS ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE, she gets wasted at a party and ends up hooking up with two boys, Nicolas and Rafael, in the same night (not at the same time 🙏😭). They actually end up hitting it off really well and she became FWB with both of them. She just... didn't tell them that she was sleeping with someone else. THIS PROVES TO BE A GENUINELY TERRIBLE DECISION when she finds out that she is not only pregnant, but she also doesn't know who the father is. If it isn't the consequences of her actions 😋 THE SITUATION IS BAD ALREADY BUT IT GETS A 100 TIMES WORSE when she finds out that they are in fact, twin brothers. Rafael and Nicolas Blaze, born out of a summer romance between a wealthy business man and a lower class girl, are both definitely horrified that they've been sleeping with the same girl, but also horrified that she is pregnant! STILL NOT KNOWING WHO THE FATHER IS, they're both equally as involved in her pregnancy, even helping her move out into a little trailer. Family is family either way and Daphne is still their... friend? Whatever, we don't get into their convoluted feelings for the sake of the baby. MERCEDES ELEANORA BLAZE is born healthy and reasonably happy to a single teen mom who is trying her best to not fuck up again. She's healing from the absolute shit show that was her pregnancy, but at least Rafael and Nicolas are involved. And hey, she can find out who the father really is now.
AND THAT'S WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW!!! Daphne recently aged up into a young adult and Mercedes into a toddler 💗💗

CAREERS LEGACY CHALLENGE — A STORY BASED LEGACY
hello! this is my new legacy challenge based off of sims 4 careers!!! it started with me creating a new save and needing a place to organize my ideas, and it became this 10 generations legacy! this has a lot of room for storytelling and developing your own stories, but it also has gameplay focused rules! your sims all have some background detailing for you to comprehend why they want to follow that career! i hope you all enjoy this! if you give it a chance, post and tag me! i also have more generations being planned, but they’ll be extra gens ;)
GENERAL RULES + GUIDELINES:
all required rules have to be completed before moving to the next gen
rules that have a * are optional!
a few cheats are allowed, but try not to overuse them. only in gen. 1, you’ll be allowed to use freerealestate, bb.enablefreebuild, money cheats and university cheats. for the rest of the gens, you can use cas.fulleditmode for other sims, live edit/debug cheats for decorating your house and you can use UI cheats if your game broke to complete aspiration milestones
you must join the careers from each generation, and you also have to reach level 10 of them, even if it requires extra skills (i think this is kinda implied)
i tried my best to make this mod-free, but gen 3 has a modded aspiration. i did give an unmodded alternative, though!
mods and cc are super incentivized!!!
i split the rules into main rules and plot rules. the plot rules are fully optional, but it'll give you some background for your generations!
colors are also optional! i just enjoy playing with them.

since you were a kid, you strived for the best. you lived with your mother and her spouse, no sight of your dad. growing up, you had a fiery personality, which lead you to make a single friend in your entire life. you always wanted to be the best at everything, and help people get justice. you discovered that doing yoga kept you in check. all was going well: you were going to the university you always wanted, opening the path to your dream along with your best friend, until they died. how will you navigate life now?

have a close family dynamic with everyone initially
at some point during the heir’s teen years, modify the family relationship to difficult, but only with the heir. this is important for the next gen.
gen 2: restaurant owner.

you definitely had a white picket life growing up, with dancing and cooking being your favorite family activities. your parents were amazing, kind and caring — until you said that you wouldn't attend university. your relationship with them strained, so as soon as you aged, you packed up and moved to Mt. Komorebi with the last savings you had. you had enough to buy/rent a place, but was that enough to get to your dream of opening a restaurant? how will you get money? and, most importantly: how will you deal with your parents?

you were a lonely kid growing up in the snowy mountains. no siblings, no friends, just you and snowboarding. you always felt like something was watching over you. your parents always supported you, even when you chose to move out and follow what your grandparents wished for. you rented out a place, and weird things started happening around. will you find out what's going on?

your parents were celebrities, so you were constantly put into the spotlight. you just wanted to read and daydream about crystals and jewels. you constantly had to run away from paparazzi, and you made it to the news by fighting them publicly. that got your parents very angry, and they sent you away to live with your grandparents in henford-on-bagley. you make a lot of animal friends there, and widely explore the world, searching for crystals and metals. one day, someone offers you a getaway from all of the human world: the magic realm. you accept it, but you must return to del sol valley and tell your parents. how will you do it?

you grew up by the water, surrounded by stray animals you always desperately wanted to have. your parents never allowed you to, leaving you to care for them in secret, spending your pocket money on food for them. you always nurtured this love and compassion for animals, wishing to help them all. you go into university, looking for a biology degree to follow your dream of becoming a vet. your parents don't really care about what you do, as long as you bring money to the table. so what will they say once you state that you'll be opening a vet clinic by yourself?

Sims 3 Coven Chaos Challenge

In this challenge you collect a Coven of 8 powerful vampires, but you can only control the newest member! Try to become the most powerful vampire Coven you can, and try not to get sucked into chaos.
Premise:
An ancient and powerful vampire was shut away in a tomb for hundreds of years, and awakens now weakened and lost. They have to build back up their strengths and skills so they can reform a powerful vampire Coven of eight sims (including themselves), each vampire with a different skillset and accomplishments. 
Packs: Supernatural, World Adventures (recommended), Late Night (recommended)
Start:
One sim (vampire), can be YA, A, or E
No money
Start on a large lot with only a “tomb” – a basement with a coffin in it – and nothing else. This is where the ancient vampire awoke, and where they’ll build their Coven. 
Objectives:
There are eight roles that must be filled in the Coven. The first one, The Mastermind, will be filled by your starting sim. Vampires are added to the Coven by biting sims from around town. Feel free to modify their appearance, like the transformation makes them ethereally beautiful (or terrifying), but you can’t change their traits. Some levels are harder than others, so be prepared!
The catch: You can’t add a new member to the Coven until you’ve achieved all the necessary goals for the previous member. Then, you can only play as the newly added member, and can never select the portraits of the other members of the Coven again. 
Other Rules: 
Your active sim can only fill their thirst need by drinking from humans (though you'll have to place a fridge on the lot for the other vampires to get plasma juice).
Under no circumstances can a non-vampire live on the lot. 
Don’t add a new vampire to your Coven until you have a bed/coffin for them. I like to build a big mansion with rooms decorated for each member of the Coven.

The Mastermind: Every Coven needs a wise, powerful Mastermind to tell everyone else what to do.
Max Logic
Complete the Grand Master skill challenge
Find a Visionary
The Visionary: The right-hand man/woman of the Mastermind, the Visionary is a creative mind who will help plan the Coven and build up their resources.
Max Painting
Complete the Proficient Painter or Master Painter skill challenge (Hint: having a couple easels in the Visionary’s room is a nice background source of income)
Find an Architect
The Architect: The Mastermind’s left-hand man/woman, the Architect will also help plan the Coven and keep things running smoothly. 
Max Handiness 
Complete the Tinkerer skill challenge (Hint: upgrading lots of objects to unbreakable or self-cleaning will help down the line)
Find a Hypnotic
The Hypnotic: One of the most powerful tools a vampire has is their hypnotic charm. This sim acts as an ambassador for the Coven and raises their profile. 
Max Charisma
Complete the Super Friendly skill challenge
Find a Wild One
The Wild One: The wild vampire has rejected society and chooses to live in the wilderness, at one with their own dark nature. 
Max Gardening, Fishing
Obtain the Collection Helper Lifetime Happiness Reward (Hint: it’s handy to give this to the Mystic)
Find a Mystic
The Mystic: The Mystic embraces their supernatural prowess and brings an arcane power to the Coven. 
Max Alchemy
Complete the Master Alchemist skill challenge (Hint: this is offered at level 10)
Complete any collecting skill challenge
Find a Warrior
The Warrior: Even with all this supernatural prowess, raw strength can still come in handy. The Warrior will protect the Coven and make sure no one defies them. 
Max Martial Arts (with WA) or Athletic (without WA)
Complete the Grand Master skill challenge (with WA) or all three athletic skill challenges (without WA)
Find a Historian
The Historian: This forward-thinking Coven needs a scholarly type to make a record of their accomplishments so their tale won’t be lost to history. 
Max Writing
Write a book about each member of the Coven including yourself (title the book after their name, or any other title that you think encapsulates them)

Occult Legacy Challenge Rules
This is my take on asphodel moon's Occult Legacy Challenge. Many of the rules and goals have remained the same, but I've updated a few to better align with the most recent packs and features.

You move to the sunny beaches of Sulani where you crave a life free of stress where, whilst searching for food one day, you find a mysterious kelp you can use in your soups. Is it safe to eat? Only time will tell! Sulani very quickly becomes your home but the passing trade of tourists leaves the place looking a bit ... unloved. You take it upon yourself to save the beach, to save the wildlife, to save the place you call home!

Shadowmoon Legacy Part 1: The Founder

Hello all! I'm very excited to share the start of my attempt at the Shadowmoon Legacy Challenge by Simbones! I love trying different challenges but haven't played with vampires much, so I started looking for a challenge. Shadowmoon sounded super interesting and it seemed like I would be able to do some fun storytelling with it.
Let me introduce the first sim for this challenge, Charlotte Larson!

Asylum Challenge by Simswithcheese
Intro
"You have been committed to a run down mental health facility against your will. In order to prove that you are fit to rejoin society and earn your freedom, you must achieve the goals your psychiatrist has set for you – your aspiration. The catch? You need to achieve your goals as quickly as possible, while keeping 7 other patients, who you don't know and are out of your control, alive and as happy as possible. Add to that budget cutbacks leading to a lack of decent furniture and limited supplies, and your task gets harder."
For this challenge there will be an easy mode, medium mode and hard mode, just to spice things up a bit.
Setup
Create your main sim in CAS. They must be a young adult. You can choose whatever you want for looks, clothing, voice and walk styles. They must have the insane trait and the other two traits can be anything except for custom traits. 
You can also choose any aspiration except for the following:
Successful Lineage
Big Happy Family
Super Parent
Fabulously Wealthy
Mansion Baron
City Native
After finishing your main sim, create seven other sims. They all must be young adults and they must all have the insane trait. The other two traits and their aspirations can be whatever you want. (I recommend having a few evil, mean and romantic sims, just to make things interesting). None of the eight sims are allowed to be related. 
Next step is to build the asylum on a residential lot. The size of the lot does not matter. You can build the asylum yourself, download an asylum from the Gallery using the hashtag #AsylumChallenge or modify an existing house.
Money cheats are allowed when building or placing your asylum. Depending on your mode of difficulty depends on what objects are allowed in your asylum, but all objects must be the cheapest at the beginning (Cheap counters, cheap beds, cheap couches etc.). You cannot have objects in the asylum which affects sim’s emotions (unless the object was obtained through a career reward) or which prevents fires. When you have finished building the asylum you cannot modify further, unless sims get stuck in a certain area or your asylum saves up enough money for a new skill building item or when you can purchase an upgraded item. Pools are allowed but they are classified as a skill building item.
When you have finished creating your asylum, your family funds must be at the required amount for your difficulty. To change the family funds you must first type into the cheat box “testingcheats true” (without quotations), then type into the cheat box “money (amount required). For example, for easy mode you would put "testingcheats true" followed by "money 1000" followed by "testingcheats false".
Upgrading Objects
When the asylum saves up a bit of money you can start replacing the cheap furniture and appliances with high quality furniture and appliances. You can only replace items, you cannot buy extra items. For example you can replace the fridge but you can’t have two fridges.
You cannot upgrade objects in hard mode. 
Using the handiness skill to upgrade objects is allowed in all difficulty modes.
Gameplay
You must only be selected on your main sim, you are not allowed to click on the other sims at all to check their needs. If they die, they die. 
If you want to, at 12am, you can click on the other sims to check their inventory if they have books, food etc. When doing this your game must be paused. 
Cheats/mods/hacks which boost sim’s needs or skills are not allowed. High free will must be turned on, so the other sims in the asylum will do things by themselves. 
You can not use your inventory to reserve items for yourself. For example, you can't put a book or guitar in your inventory just so no one else can put it in theirs.
The age settings can either be on normal or long, it’s your choice.
No rearranging of furniture to reserve or use something for yourself. For example, you can not move the TV into a bedroom and turn it on just to get an uncontrollable sim out of bed so you can sleep in the bed. Nor can you remove a door so others can't gain access to the bathroom so you can use it when you come home from work.
If a sim dies you must keep the grave on the lot, you must keep the grave on the lot. If their ghost gets too annoying (e.g. they keep breaking objects) you can banish their ghost.
Putting toilets and showers/baths in separate rooms is OK in all difficulties, as dying from embarrassment tends to occur too much.
Making your sim “work hard” in their career is ok, you cannot make the other patients “work hard” in their careers.
Game Pack/Expansion Pack Changes
Outdoor Retreat:
Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration is allowed.
You can only travel to Granite Falls when you need to complete certain goals in the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration.
When travelling to Granite Falls you must bring all of your fellow patients with you and choose the campground as your destination.
Spa Day:
When completing an aspiration, you can reward your Sim with a trip to the spa.
Dine Out
Your Sim cannot own a restaurant.
Your household cannot visit a restaurant.
Vampires
Vampire patients are allowed.
Vampire aspirations are allowed.
Parenthood
Super Parent aspiration is not allowed.
Get To Work
Alien patients are allowed.
Active careers are not allowed as they require leaving the lot.
Your Sim cannot own a retail business
If a member of the Asylum is abducted by aliens and comes back pregnant, when they give birth you have to send the baby back to Sixam.
Get Together
You can create an Asylum club for the patients, you cannot add outside Sims to the club.
Club perks are allowed for all levels of difficulties.
City Living
Apartments cannot be asylums
Difficulty Modes and Rules
There are 3 different modes of difficulty for this challenge.
Easy Mode:
Starting funds: $1,000
Complete two aspirations, then you are free!
Can have the TV and the computer at the same time.
Two sinks, two toilets and two showers/bathtubs.
No more than 6 ‘bed spots’. For example you can have 6 single beds, or 3 double beds, 1 double and 4 single beds etc.
There can only be total seating for 8. That includes couches, lounges and chairs. If you have a dining table with 6 chairs then you may not use a couch that seats 3.
You may only have a total of 5 Skill Building items in the house, so choose wisely at the start. Computers, stoves, bookcases, mirrors, and TVs don't count as skill items. It is highly recommended to have skill items which make money, for example the easel.
Everyone in the asylum is allowed a job, but the non-controllable sims must be in the Criminal Career as it is the lowest paying job. You are not allowed to level them up in their career. If they lose their job, they have lost it forever. Your main sim can have whatever job they like. (It is recommended that their job is related to their aspiration. For example a sim with the Master Chef aspiration should be in the Culinary Career)
You can purchase lifetime rewards
Having a maid and ordering pizza is allowed.
Can leave the lot to go fishing and collecting at anytime. Can only travel to other people’s houses and community lots during the hours of 9:00am-3:00pm. (When travelling to another lot you must bring everyone from the asylum along with you)
If a sim dies, no objects have to be deleted.
Medium Mode:
Starting funds: $500
Complete three aspirations, then you are free!
You cannot have a TV and a computer at the same time. It is recommended that if your sim has the Computer Whiz aspiration for example, that you should have a computer.
One sink, one toilet, one shower/bathtub.
No more than 5 ‘bed spots’. For example, you can have 5 single beds, or 2 doubles and 1 single bed etc.
There can only be total seating for 6. That includes couches, lounges and chairs. If you have a dining table with 4 chairs then you may not use a couch that seats 3.

If a sim dies, 1 bed and 1 seat must be deleted until there is only 1 bed and 1 seat remaining.
Aspirations
In the difficulties it states that a number of aspirations must be completed. This refers to aspirations such as the Computer Wiz aspiration. It does NOT refer to groups of aspirations such as the all of the aspirations in the Creativity category.

Step 6: Build the skull mask, ruminate a lot. Blender pt 5
With the hood in a good enough place to move on, I wanted to see what it would look like if I used the premade skull mask I had found. As the existence of this post implies: it didn't looks very good!
Never even took a screenshot cuz I nixed that idea so quickly. Which was great, because it was a sign that I was getting more confident in what I could do and the sudden idea of making a mask from scratch was no longer daunting. So I mads a few references and set out to "trace" the model via a flat image and editing the primitive in the isometric views:

Took a screenshot as face-on as I could but still had to skew + mirror it in PS cus ya boy's face is pretty angled. At least the profile is easy to just rotate.
Anyway, here it is with the images placed for Optimal Isometric Modeling:

What you don't see here is the struggle to figure out the best way to actually trace things. Ya I could have watched a video, but at some point you just gotta play around with it on your own. So I ended up taking the woodcarving technique and moving all the vertices to where they needed to be at the most important angle. In this case, in Front View, where I moved everything to the exact place I needed it to be on the x/y-axis, which left most of the sculpting to happen on the z-axis.

This was ALSO the first time I ever deleted faces, something which I forgot I could do, and was much easier than my original plan of just sinking the unneeded surface into his face lol (should probably go back and do this for some of the boot parts)
The mask itself presented a pretty good set of challenges from the previous endeavors, especially with the more natural and rigid nature of bone. I feel like with the cloth of the pants/hood I was able to get away with a little less precision, as there is an inherent unpredictability to the way cloth falls which would not be too noticeable so long as I implied weight well enough (something I was conscious of and played around with :^) ), but the skull portion has a very distinct look with the shapes and shadows.
The mask also needs to be a balancing contrast to the otherwise soft nature of the surrounding cloth pieces. I am wary of my sculpts looking uncanny due to being too smooth and play doh-y (like how the Sims 3 sims looked lmaooo), which is where the skull would come in. I do plan/hope/am praying that brushes will help toward the end to give things a bit of a lived-in feel, and I know there's a way to add additional 3D textures similar to how you add 2D ones, but that was something I briefly tried to do in the past with no luck. In spite of that, I am confident I will be able to figure it out now that I've learned so much more about what I am actually doing in Blender.
With all that being said, the teeth killed me lmao
When I made the general shape of the mask, I thought about just using the mouth portion from the original model I was gonna use. However, that gave me a whole nest of problems on its own. Mainly these huge fucking clusters of vertices:

They made Blender super slow, hoping between edit/object mode was a nightmare, and applying a modifier was a guarantee like 5 minutes of no response. And I spent a good amount of time and troubleshooting trying to fix this (including decimating the geometry, attempting to remove this entire back side + extruding, mirroring, etc) but at the end of the day I just decided it wasn't worth it.
This was a major factor in my decision to started moving away from remixing existing models. I realized that I actually do care about the amount of control I have over them + with each successful part I made, it would make each borrowed one feel that much more out of place.
So major character development here: I am officially gonna axe any plans I had for borrowing models! Except for the skull pauldron, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there lol
Anyway, here are the steps I took trying to make the teeth work before decided to JUST include the teeth and do the rest of the sculpting post-print in epoxy.

I ended up using someone else's teeth tho cus I tried making my own via extrusion (looked bad, look like those lil square gums) and sculpting.
Turns out idk what teeth look like and I could not be bothered to do the entire reference process, especially when I KNOW someone out there probably made a perfectly good set of individual teeth. And someone did!
Anyway, I refined the mask further to give it more shape and will probably continue to work on the teeth as I progress onto other pieces. Who knows, maybe I will eventually gain the skills and confident to say fuck it and just make the entire mask in 3D too.
Up next: Additional head details, maybe the straps on his chest? Gloves pt 2? The BIG cloth wraps? tbd tbh

idk what else to call them... Mods that make sims slightly less annoying to deal with, or slightly more self-sufficient, or tweaks that help reduce risks of corruption or otherwise avoid less than ideal problems/situations.
It’s not 100% comprehensive, just a list of mods I personally use or have used. Even then I have way more mods than this total, but I just wanted to focus on one specific aspect.
I intended this to be more like a personal archive than anything, so don’t take it as guarantee that every single one works together without conflict lol
SuperDuperHugTest (instantly removes Super Duper Hug Bug from any infected lot as soon as it’s loaded)

• Visitor Controller (you can allow/ban sims from a lot based on tons of things)
• ACR (Autonomous Casual Romance)
• Same Sex Marriage (no “Joined Union" for gay couples just “Married”)

I’m going on vacation!
I’m going camping deep in the bush for a week from July 15 to the 22!
Although the cabin I’ll be staying in is supposed to have wi-fi, I don’t expect it to be great... if it works at all. If you’re wondering why I’ve only been posting 3 times a day compared to my usual 7-8 posts per day... that’s why! I’m trying to have a decent amount of content to last me until the end of the month.
Of course that means I won’t be here to get hyped up about the High School pack with everyone... but you can bet your ass when I get back home and get through updating all of my mods again... I’m gonna be playing it! It’s actually a pack I’ll get to use for my BACC so that’s super exciting!
So here’s the deal when it comes to my three on-going stories/series. A lot of this will depend on factors out of my control, like EA fixing their bugs and how many mods break with the High School update.  
MY BUILD A CITY CHALLENGE...
I have plenty of content to last me through the month so no worries there!
I won’t be playing any households with babies until the toddler glitch is fixed but I do have a few households I can play still once I get back from my vacation on the 22nd. Once I’m through all of those, if EA hasn’t fixed the bug, then I may have to take a short hiatus for this series. 
I’m assuming they’ll have it fixed by then though! It should take me the whole summer to get through these 2-3 households after the Leprince-Flynn family.
MY EXTREME DECADES CHALLENGE...
Unfortunately, I’m completely out of posts for this one and it makes me soooo sad because I’ve been dying to play it again. We’ll be on hiatus until the toddler glitch is fixed. I can’t play with broken ass toddlers, sorry.
Until then please go check out @ivyandink‘s Dubois Decades (it’s already in chrono order for you!). It’s pretty similar to mine in terms of setting but edited WAY better and with a much more detailed storyline. I’m kind of obsessed... and it’s been keeping me going while I wait to play my Decades. 
MY OCCULT SAVE FILE...
To be honest? Not sure about this one. If I keep going the way I’m going... I’ll probably burn myself out and stop playing it. It’s A LOT of work for one single post... I don’t know how all of those crazy storytelling simblrs do it constantly!!
I don’t think all of this posing is my cup of tea though. I will continue this save but it will be a bit less staged and a bit more gameplay-focused. I have a few more posts left in my drafts that I’ll queue up and then this save will be on hiatus for a little while until I figure out what kind of challenge/gameplay style I wanna do. Probably some kind of Rags to Riches meets Occult Legacy meets multiple families/rotational gameplay. We’ll see in August!

Knock on wood, but I feel like I’ve gotten pretty good at juggling multiple save files... which was a huge issue for me last year when I attempted it.
I know I have 3 things going on now, but I’ve been wanting to maybe start something new in August. Let me know if you have any challenges you’d like me to check out! I’m considering doing a modified version (aka harder and more long-term) of AussieCassPlays’ Island Challenge. I might also try a random legacy challenge or a LEPacy... those also seem really fun!
Soooo... yeah! I’m still gonna be around for another week but I will be slower at replying to DM’s, asks or WCIFs. I probably won’t be replying to anything at all from the 15th-22nd.

~GingerChallenge Results!~
THANK EVERYONE SO MUCH FOR OVER 50 ENTRIES TO MY CHALLENGE! I appreciate you taking the time to make a ginger sim for me!
Let me preface by saying my fave sims are natural sims, after all this is a life simulation game. You know, the ones that don't look like cartoons or caricatures - they have chins and jaws and their eyes and lips are normal size give or take a little. I was looking for natural ginger sims.
Your typical ginger has red hair and brown eyes. They usually classify as either a spring or fall in the classic draping color spectrum, so they usually look best when dressed in those colors depending upon their skintone, etc., though more typically, they wear what they want because they can LOL They are beautiful, special people and should be represented in the gallery as such.
That being said, THANK YOU for understanding I do value creativity quite highly, so for those of you who thought outside the box, I modified my assessment method for the challenge LOL
To be fair, I put EVERY SIM into CAS to check the facial features and profiles etc. I used a matrix and you received up to 20 points for each category, and entered the results on a spreadsheet.
2. Then that number was taken into consideration with the rest of the body and dress, which I felt was more subjective.
So the challenge was not as much about the haircolor, as it was about how you dealt with the haircolor in all other aspects of the sim.
Because of the number of beautiful entries, I've altered my expected result form. I'd planned to pick a top three, but instead because there were so many sims that were beautiful, I've picked a top three in age categories and a couple of other ones, along with runners up and honorable mentions!

Not so Berry Challenge:
Highschool Years and University Modification (with bonus siblings)
Explination: I’m new to sims challenges, but as someone who is really enjoying the highschool years expansion pack and the University pack I decided that my first Challenge would be doing a modified Very Berry Challenge with a third twist
Aka: sibling(s)
(Note you do not need to use the siblings if you do not want to)
This is a modification from the very berry challenge by @lilsimsie
When I am done with the challenge myself and have worked out the kinks I will post the whole thing, but for now I am just posting one generation at a time so I can keep track of my own goals as I go
Rules:
1) same rules as very berry challenge still apply
2) pick one sim to be the main character (MC) each generation and one sibling to be the ‘sibling’ character
3) the sibling character must also complete all their aspirations and goals and can have kids of their own, however only the children of the MC can be chosen for the next generations MC and sibling.
4) the sibling relationship status ‘goal’ changes every generation. That relationship status must be maintained throughout those sims lives.
5) more then one generation is played at a time in this challenge (since the challenges begin with children) so turning off auto aging or using cheats to modify aging length is acceptable in order to achieve each goal set for each sim before moving on to the next goal set

I hope you don't mind me asking, but do you have any recommendations how to modify the decades challenge to be more Jewish? I'm still in the early stages of conversion and still doing tons of research. I want my personal gameplay to be somewhat accurate though. If you're too busy/don't want too that's okay as well!
Kol hakavod! Way to go on beginning your conversion. It's a long journey but a rewarding one!
I guess it really would depend on how realistic you want your gameplay to be, and also where you're from (I assume the US?). I'll put it under the cut as it's quite long.
The original Decades Challenge rules are, from my perspective, quite goyische (Christian-centric), seem to be based on social mores of the middle to upper class and seem inspired by the aesthetics and life of the American frontier. That's not a criticism per se, as the fandom is US-centric by nature (and US is majority Christian religiously and/or culturally), so it makes sense that the rules and gameplay would be US and Christian-centric.
@strangetown-hotel made some really good points on how their family lived in a tenement (apartment building) when emigrating to the US. I'm not super familiar with the history of Jews in the US, but I do know most emigrated through Rhode Island beginning from the late 1800's - early 1900's, and that most were middle-class or working-class.
You could have a Jewish immigrant couple living in an apartment. If you wanted to do a 'rags to riches' type story, you could make them working-class and put them in the cheapest apartment, with lot traits like 'Creepy Crawlies', 'Filthy', 'Grody' etc, and have both work. The idea that all women were stay-at-home mums/homemakers is inaccurate; only upper-class or some middle-class women could afford to stay at home, and richer women could afford to have hired help. Poor women had no choice but to work in addition to taking care of the house and children.
There are a couple of issues with apartment living that might crop up if you're doing a historical gameplay. You might want to choose an apartment with a balcony so you can buy a clothesline, because dryers were not on the market until the late 1920's, off the top of my head. Or don't put the laundry basket in until you can work your Sims up to getting an apartment with a balcony.

Many immigrant families did live in apartments, but it would also not be inaccurate to have Jewish families living in a rural setting. Historically, we are farmers - we have the holidays to prove it. Three of our main festivals are agricultural festivals - Pesach (Passover), Shavuot and Sukkot, celebrated in early spring when the crops begin to ripen, late spring during the harvest and autumn when crops are gathered, respectively.
(Living in the Southern Hemisphere, those festivals are reversed for me, but it's about the spirit of the holiday).
Basically, Am Yisrael (the nation of Israel, ie the Jewish people) live all over the world in all climates, all settings, so don't feel like you have to constrain yourself to a specific setting.
For CC, I suggest downloading pandorasimbox’s excellent Judaism Stuff pack, found here - especially the mezuzah, challah and dreidel. You can affix the mezuzah to your front and back doors (on the outside of the house) or if you’re in an apartment, on the inside. If your Sims are ultra-Orthodox, you can add one to each room, but usually just front and back is fine.
For the challah, it’s decorative only, but maybe could be made into a custom recipe if someone is willing to do that? (Note to self - check how difficult that is). You could set it in the middle of a table on Friday nights when your Sims have Shabbos dinner, along with a couple of candlesticks. I use the candlesticks here (plasticbox’s candlesticks updated by me, excuse my self-plug). When they’re not on the table, I put them on the mantle.
For holidays, I've set up my holidays as follows:
My Sims' families are traditionally Orthodox, but they themselves lean towards Conservative, so they celebrate most but not all holidays.Because each Sim "day" =/= a real world day, I've approximated the time between holidays, so feel free to adjust as you see fit.

Traditions: Grand Meal, Thankful Spirit, Attend Holiday Ceremony, Invite Guests
Yom Kippur Winter - Day 1

omg im gonna tell you about what im doing in the sims bc i cannot shut up ab it. im doing the not so berry challenge where you have to play 10 generations of sims. and each gen is a color and has specific traits and goals. i just started it so im on the first one which is mint. i naned my sim marcy and shes an astronaut (i had to follow a modified version of the challenge for base game cause in the normal challenge mints supposed to be a scientist lol) and i love her so much shes caught on fire twice already
