"Pulpier and deadlier" Is a wild promise to make for a campaign that ended up having the least combat deaths of any campaign. All of which being caused by the same enemy. That doesn't read as deadlier to me, that reads as one enemy being an outlier. It gets even worse when you address the use of deadlier to mean deadlier than previous campaigns, given how Bell's Hells are easily the weakest party of the 3 main campaigns. So the "pulpier and deadlier" campaign, with a party that is significantly weaker level by level compared to previous campaigns, ends up being less deadlier than those previous campaigns? It feels like a lack of follow through to me.

People consistently wonder why I'm as a vocal about the dangers of Islam as I tend to be. And it is literally because they view their faith not just as the truth. They view it as absolute truth whereas nothing else on earth can feasibly be correct. To a dogmatic degree.

And people might bring up Christian groups going into other countries in an attempt to spread the faith but what they don't tend to tell you is that for the most part, with very few exceptions, these individuals were not trying to upturn entire cultures. They were not spreading the faith with the intention of dismantling culture.

And, even if you had a generally decent point in regards to Christianity being forced on certain individuals, that was decades ago; centuries ago. And since the founding of the United States one has never been forced under law to be Christian. Contrary to how a lot of liberals want to view history and our country. These people do not care about liberalism. Which is funny because liberals absolutely love them. They want to destroy liberalism. They want to destroy the West. And they want to convert the entirety of the world even by use of force and subterfuge to get there. They will convert your countries to Islam. And then they will uproot an absolutely eradicate democracy or any form of democratic process.

And that is just an objective fact. These people willingly and openly admit this because they know liberals will come to their defense. These people want to spread Islamic theocracy across the world. They want to spread their views and their values alone. And they will do so by any means that they need to. Which includes literally weaponizing bleeding heart liberals and neoliberals in order to be a weapon against people who are pushback against them. And then when they do finally achieve their goal, their faith does not allow for dissent. Which means that all of the bleeding hearts no matter how far left they are, we'll either convert or be purged.

Basically the same way the Communists do things. "Thank you for the assistance comrade now it's time to be put down. Face the wall. You are too dangerous to keep alive". And it's so weird to me that these people actually think that Muslims are in favor of LGBT rights. That they're in favor of trans rights. That they're in favor of even women's rights. Most countries that have Islam as a primary faith have some of the worst rights on Earth for most people. And to this day I have no idea how they managed to convince so many progressives and neo progressives, that they are humanitarian havens. They aren't and they would gladly slit your throat if they thought they were winning. And guess what? In the UK they're getting there. The UK within the span of 15 years will be an Islamic nation and within 10 years after that or less they will be a Sharia nation.

And I want you to understand something very plain as day. The people who are pissed off at Christianity are pissed off about often times petty things. Like their family saying that they're not allowed to do something because God says it's wrong. Does that mean that there are not people in this country and in the world who have weaponized the Christian faith? No it doesn't. There are people who are effectively religious Karen's who make up their own version of the faith in their head and then hyper enforce it on everyone around them. While not holding themselves to that very standard. But, do you understand that the entire Christian faith is not like that? It seems you don't. Because you think Christianity should be abolished everywhere. But the moment people bring up Islam you think that we should be respectful of cultures and faiths.

It seems to me you don't actually give a damn about some "fake skydaddy". Because if you did you would weaponize that same hate and disdain against all other religions and most of you don't. You are quite literally just pissed off that you were told no as a child. You're mad that Christianity told you that you shouldn't have sex before marriage.

The problem is, we are the only country in the world that has the freedom of religion that we have. Certainly they have some level of freedom in Europe but that is eroding by the day. And if you listen to this man's argument, perhaps freedom of religion in its absolute, isn't a good thing. Especially when faiths like his exist for the sole purpose of uprooting entire nations and converting them to his, "only real faith". Some of you really need to open your eyes. Because they've been closed for far too long. And the bulk of you being used as weapons in this fight against the West don't realize you are literally less than human to the people fighting on the other side. You're just a convenient weapon for the time being.

i will never understand the argument of ‘but it’s so hard to use different pronouns, these ones just come naturally/i’ve used them for so long for you/i don’t get it’.

i use ‘bestie’ daily, one of my friends doesn’t like it so i never call sun bestie.

i regularly use slurs because i reclaim them, it makes me comfortable and brings me joy. several of my friends aren’t comfortable being called a faggot or a tranny, several of them are. so i remember who’s on which side and i don’t call them slurs even if it’s natural to me. because they don’t like it.

i use ‘girl’ ‘girlie’ ‘dude’ constantly to refer to people, some of my trans friends don’t like them because it causes dysphoria so i don’t use it, i use what they’re comfortable with.

i use various terms of endearment all the time with my friends, some of them are uncomfortable with being called babe, baby etc. so i don’t use it.

using people’s names doesn’t come naturally to me, it always feels weird in my mouth to call people by name. but some people don’t use pronouns, some people just prefer hearing their name, so i make that effort at my own discomfort and i use their name in place of whatever i use normally.

some of my trans friends change their pronouns when the old ones don’t work, i make the change instantly and tell them to correct me as soon as i use the wrong ones and i listen and i do it right. it’s not that hard.

maybe it’s different for me because i’m surrounded by people under the trans umbrella. maybe it’s different for me because i have 18 names and 14 sets of pronouns, so remembering one change or remembering someone uses he/she/they with that preference isn’t that hard. but even if that’s true, it doesn’t make it any less true that when someone changes their pronouns or their name or finds new ones to add to their list it’s not that hard to remember the change and to do it. idk man. i just hate hearing that argument.

Something I've recently been thinking in the light of a lot of the discourse on here that everyone is distracted left vs right when they should be paying attention to the libertarian vs authoritarian axis as well.

(Of course few authoritarians call themselves that, but it is this belief in strict rules & that people can't be trusted to decide for themselves, that ppl need to be controlled for their own good etc) 

The authoritarian left hasn't been a thing for 20 odd years after communism fell but I suppose it was a matter of time till they would come back in some form - just like, alas, the far right nuts came back after the ppl who personally remember what a bad idea the nazis were gradually died off. 

There was a post on tumblr recently calling the censor crowd "functionally conservative" but they really aren't, they're pro gay, pro environment, pro minority, pro change, pro tax etc. they are leftists, but what they also are is authoritarian.

The authoritarian left is back, & this is what's happened in this last decade with this neo-puritan/paternalist/cancel culture stuff. It just gradually crept into left spaces frogs in a boiling pot situation & was just nodded along with because everyone wants to be pro-justice etc, 

& then in the news/ by critics it is all just often it's just all lumped together as "the left" - When people say "libertarian" they usually mean libertarian right (eg doesn’t care about social control or anyone smooking weed or being gay in private, but pro corporate, against tax, wants to keep social categories somewhat the same etc. )

No one applies the libertarian/authoritarian split to the left any more as if they're all libertarian by default but they aren't. Not the "censor stuff that makes me uncomfy" crowd, for sure. They're just as authoritarian rightist censors, they just want their own team to win. 

But when anyone complains about “leftists censors” they’re usually accused of projecting, decried as immoral etc. even when they’re not being hostile & possibly open to rational dialogue. in other words, there is heavy “for us or against us” logic, treating anyone not 100% on your side as indistinguishable from extremists. Which is authoritarianism: No dialogue, no divergence from orthodoxy not even just for argument’s sake, no thinking bad thoughts

In some situations I may have more in common with a centrist libertarian than an authoritarian of either left or right. I don’t want no puritan crusaders of either paintjob telling me what to do. 

I think this difference needs to be emphasized more, basically.
