So tired of the way fandom has started to require kissing/sex to consider pairings canon. You would not have survived watching The X-files. Also you have limited understanding of romance/sexuality and media in general

Hello, I saw your valentines post and thought I might join in
I'd really like prompt 3, the one with the dream if them , and Azul from twst
He's my fav of the twst cast and a comfort character (❁´◡`❁)
my pronouns are they/them/he/him, so do whatever you like with that info
maybe it's just me, but in a dream someone would have to do something cute and/or sweet in it to get me flustered and avoiding them (lol I'm weak to fluff but not really spice)
Anyways, I hope you have a lovely day or night and I wish the best of luck to you!

💌Azul Ashengrotto + Prompt #3 (Seeing them in your dreams, being too flustered to face them in real life.)
Dreams end at the most climactic moment. That is to say, right when the zombies catch you or as soon as you hit the ground. The same holds true for good dreams especially.
Which brings you to your current predicament.
The details were fading away, all that remained burned into your mind were those final moments—a wistful piano instrumental filling the air, the feeling of your hand in his as he led you in a slow dance, a lightness taking over your body as if you were floating, the steady heat of his palm against yours lingering even after you’ve woken up.
Of course, to be further spited by fate, the both of you are paired for a short research paper, carefully looking through the reference section of the library. Together.
“—if we could find more literature on—Hm? Is something the matter?” Azul looks up from the book he was skimming through.
“Oh, it’s nothing. I’ve just got a few things on my mind.” You play it off with a wave of your hand.
He levels a concerned look at you. “Is our class representative overworking himself again?”
“N-no, not this time. It’s nothing, just some personal business.”
“If you say so, then. But if you need a listening ear, just know that I can make room in my schedule to assist you. It would be terrible if I let a dear colleague of mine carry such a burden, wouldn’t it?” There’s something about those words, or maybe his voice, that makes your stomach uneasy.
There are some things you know about Azul Ashengrotto definitively. Anyone can spot his flair for showmanship. He’s busy, but also approachable. Maybe distant at times, but always polite.
(Not at all like the Azul in your dream. Not like the Azul of now.)
Scratch that point about distance, you didn’t get the memo that the both of you were close enough to be dear colleagues.
But here you are, on the receiving end of his complete and utter attention. It occurs to you now how little you truly know about Azul.
The ring of the bell cuts your conversation short, and you blurt out a flimsy excuse before rushing out and leaving him alone in the library.
Tumblr media
a/n: hiiii!! thanks for sending in a request and happy valentines day💕💕 i had a bit of challenge trying to pin down azul's chara because i kept thinking any sweet or tender gesture from him would first of all be off-putting to the target of his affection,,, and that kinda carried through in the writing,,, oops,,, these drabbles weren't meant to contain slowburn tension🤧🤧Either way this prompt was fun to write, i hope u enjoyed reading this💕💕

Satellites: Their Positions, Tracking, and Importance
Satellites have become an essential part of modern life, orbiting Earth and providing us with services ranging from communication and navigation to weather forecasting and space exploration. As of 2024, thousands of active satellites are circling our planet, each performing a specific role to enhance the quality of life on Earth. This article delves into the positioning of satellites, how they are tracked, what they track, and the significance of their roles.
Types of Satellite Orbits and Their Positions
Satellites are positioned in various orbits depending on their intended functions. These orbits determine how close the satellite is to Earth, how fast it moves, and what areas it covers.
Low Earth Orbit (LEO): Altitude: 180 km to 2,000 km Satellites in LEO include most Earth observation satellites, the International Space Station (ISS), and some communication satellites. These satellites are closer to the Earth, enabling them to capture high-resolution images. Functions: Used for imaging, remote sensing, and some communication purposes. Examples: ISS, Earth observation satellites like Landsat.
Medium Earth Orbit (MEO): Altitude: 2,000 km to 35,786 km Satellites in MEO are mainly used for navigation. This orbit offers a good balance between coverage and latency. Functions: GPS satellites and other global navigation systems. Examples: GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo satellites.
Geostationary Orbit (GEO): Altitude: 35,786 km above the equator Satellites in GEO move at the same rotational speed as Earth, meaning they stay fixed over one location on Earth. These are mostly communication and weather satellites. Functions: Used for television broadcasts, weather monitoring, and some types of communication. Examples: Weather satellites (GOES series), telecommunication satellites.
Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO): Orbit shape: An elongated orbit with one point closer to Earth (perigee) and another point much farther away (apogee). Functions: Ideal for regions at high latitudes, providing prolonged coverage over areas like Russia and parts of Canada. Examples: Molniya satellites for communication in Russia.
How Satellites Are Tracked
The sheer number of satellites in space, combined with space debris, means tracking them is essential to avoid collisions and ensure their functionality. Ground stations and dedicated space agencies continuously monitor satellites. Several methods are used to track satellites:
Radar and Ground-Based Systems: Ground stations use radar to track satellites in LEO. These systems bounce radio waves off the satellite and measure the time it takes for the signal to return. By doing this repeatedly, they can track a satellite's location and speed.
Global Positioning System (GPS): Satellites in higher orbits like MEO or GEO are tracked using onboard GPS receivers. GPS helps calculate the satellite’s position and relay that data back to Earth.
Optical Tracking: Telescopes and cameras are used to visually observe satellites in higher orbits. This method is particularly useful for tracking objects that do not emit radio signals or need to be monitored for their physical characteristics.
Space Surveillance Networks: Agencies such as the U.S. Space Surveillance Network (SSN) and similar organizations in other countries continuously monitor satellites and space debris. They catalog objects and issue alerts for potential collisions.
What Satellites Track
Satellites are equipped with various sensors, cameras, and instruments to track a wide array of data on Earth, in space, and beyond:
Weather and Climate Data: Satellites such as NOAA’s GOES series monitor weather patterns, hurricanes, and long-term climate changes. They provide crucial data for meteorological services.
Earth Observation: Satellites like Landsat capture high-resolution images of Earth's surface. These images are used for mapping, agricultural planning, disaster response, and environmental monitoring.
Navigation Signals: GPS and other GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) satellites send signals that are used for navigation by smartphones, vehicles, ships, and airplanes worldwide.
Communication: Satellites facilitate global communication by relaying TV, radio, and internet signals across vast distances.
Space Exploration: Space telescopes like the Hubble Space Telescope track distant galaxies, nebulae, and black holes, helping scientists study the universe.
Military Surveillance: Many satellites are designed for defense purposes, tracking missile launches, military movements, or spying on potential threats.
Number of Satellites in Space
As of 2024, there are approximately 8,000 operational satellites orbiting Earth. The exact number fluctuates as new satellites are launched and old ones are decommissioned. Additionally, space agencies and private companies like SpaceX continue to launch large satellite constellations, such as Starlink, which alone has over 5,000 satellites in orbit for global internet coverage.
The Usefulness of Satellites
Satellites have become indispensable in modern life, serving a wide variety of purposes that impact everyday activities and critical global functions:
Key Functions of Satellites:
Communication: Satellites enable long-distance communication by transmitting data, television, and internet services. Without them, global broadcasting and real-time communication in remote areas would be impossible.
Navigation: Systems like GPS help millions of people navigate in real-time. They are also vital for the functioning of aviation, maritime travel, and even agricultural practices.
Earth Observation: Satellites provide high-resolution imagery of Earth, helping with disaster management, urban planning, agriculture, and environmental monitoring. For instance, they can track deforestation or observe glaciers' melting rates.
Weather Forecasting: Weather satellites provide the data needed for accurate predictions, storm tracking, and climate monitoring. This information is critical for preparing for natural disasters like hurricanes or floods.
Scientific Research and Exploration: Space telescopes and interplanetary satellites gather data on space phenomena, expanding our understanding of the universe. Satellites also conduct scientific experiments in the microgravity of space.
Defense and Security: Satellites are used for military surveillance, early-warning systems, and missile detection, playing a crucial role in national security.
Satellite Highlights in Brief:
Types of orbits: LEO, MEO, GEO, HEO, each serving different purposes.
Tracking methods: Radar, GPS, optical tracking, and space surveillance networks.
Data tracked by satellites: Weather, Earth observation, navigation signals, space exploration, and military surveillance.
Number of active satellites: Approximately 8,000.
Key roles: Communication, navigation, weather forecasting, Earth observation, scientific research, and defense.
In conclusion, satellites are essential tools for global communication, navigation, monitoring Earth's environment, and scientific discovery. As technology advances and the number of satellites continues to grow, their impact on our daily lives will only increase. Whether improving how we predict the weather, navigate through traffic, or explore the universe, satellites will continue to be a critical resource for humanity.

Network (1976) is concise in that it works as a kind of pantomime, whilst reflecting on consumerism in quite an accurate way. Is ‘consumerism’ the right word? Mass media, perhaps, would be a better term.
What I mean by ‘pantomime’, is that the characters within the film are so over the top and melodramatic that it’s hard to believe that there are people actually like that in the media industry. But, umm, there probably are. The men and women who work in these illustrious jobs are demented with competition. They compete with each other for personal status. And are obsessed with statistics, with TV ratings, and how their company is vying with other rivals. To the point where they’re completely hysterical.
Peter Finch’s character goes crazy. And he begins to speak out against the vile nature of the media industry, the irony being that he’s been working in it for decades. What makes the irony more intense is that it’s his rantings that boost the TV ratings up. So his network is faced with the conundrum with keeping him on, despite wanting to axe him beforehand.
So, what do his colleagues do in response? They feel threatened by him, and are at a loss on how to challenge his bizarre behaviour. Finch is speaking some wisdom; he’s making some valid points. This challenges the mundane material that the public are most used to.
Which brings us on to the next major theme of this movie. Which is the public themselves – those who, if you think about it, essentially feed the media. Because they are the mass audience. I look at the news every day just to keep up with current affairs. And some of the stories that you get in there are so shocking that it’s hard to believe they happened.
That’s what journalists are paid to do. Write stories that shock. You have to remember that the media is made as a business and designed to hook readers and keep them coming back.
This is what I believe this film explores. People who work in media who are obsessed with doing anything spectacular to maintain popularity, and an audience who are willing to watch anything, no matter how perverse.

Something that nobody is talking about is how good Brittany is at networking.
A lot of her friends show up to events that are important to her. But it’s another thing to have fellow actors and former co-stars like Sam Richard Richardson and Scott Mescudi consistently and frequently show up to her charity events.
It’s also remarkable that she’s able to get them to drop everything and star in her films for next to no money.
Camp did Milkshake.
Gina Rodriguez, Dave Bautista, Scott Mescudi, and a bunch of others starred in Parachute.
Actors having friends isn’t uncommon. What’s uncommon is them actually showing up and doing your indie project. A great deal of the time their answers are usually, “Sorry, but I just can’t.”
That’s a tremendous gift. Brittany’s able to do what few people in her trade are able to do.
Forget, There’s Something About Mary…
There’s Something About Brittany.
Something remarkable.

Federated, parallel communities must rise in order to help rectify what is being and has been wrought upon this world and its hosts. We fight against a wickedness in such lofty places that sometimes it seems impossible to reach their ivory ziggurats. Babylon will babble on into fruitless oblivion but while we are alive and shining, with fresh-flaming eyes we shall help to heal this earth and ameliorate the parasite's abuse through networked communities of varied values and dispositions but working together, on the same page, knowing that 1. The current world(Leviathan) and its trappings are unteneble for the growth and nourishment of the human spirit and 2. Knowing full well that these parasites who have power, sway and influence are making continuous war upon us and have been for a long time, and 3. That these parasites are trying to destroy any posterity we rear in these parallel communities; parasites who are working to genocide us from this earth because we constitute aggravating obstacles. Live in Health. Find your tribe, create your Health for yourself and those around you.
