Having a crisis...

Hello all my lovely readers out there, some of you might know me and some of you may not but I've been writing on this page for a very long time... I have found family and friends through writing and through Tumblr for longer than I can remember.

I am currently facing homelessness in a country I am not from with no family to lean on, no real friends since I have spent most of my time here in an physically and emotionally abusive and unstable relationship (someone whom I left my entire life behind for and moved across the world, trusting him id be safe here... turns out that was a lie.)

I hate asking for help in any situations, even the most minor and silly things, that's possibly a huge part of why I've ended up in this situation now. I didn't know where else to turn so I've come here in hope to find some kindness.

I understand this is a lot to ask complete strangers really, but I've found myself in a position now that I have finally managed to leave my abuser- (taking my housing and all the friends I thought I had once along with it) -that I have no other choice but to hope there are people out there that wouldn't mind helping me out with basic things like a meal and a way to get transport to work so I'm able to find a new place to live. I am currently waiting for a bed in a shelter nearby me to open up a bed.

if anyone out there has ANYTHING (even its one cent) to spare I'd appreciate it more than you can ever know.

Pjo fans insist they don't see Percy Jackson as autistic but the proof is in the blue pudding in how they treat him that they know he's audhd and not allistic adhd

They make fun of him for his (special) interests because he's super into 'kiddy/silly' things and pretend he's into ones he's never even mentioned(The Little Mermaid,Nemo,etc)while ignoring his actual tastes,they call stupid 'affectionatelly' when he's expressed verbally AND in his narration so many times it's upsetting and that it's something he's resigned himself to eternally happening to him rather than growing to like it,they turn his younger loved ones into his 'babysitters' when HE'S the one constantly looking out for younger people on eldest sibling/pseudo-dad instinct,they treat his lack of social skills as a moral failing even though nobody ever fucking taught him how to mask so now he literally can't and the peer abuse,parental abuse,parental abandoment AND grooming into a child soldier for his entire teenage years did NOT help,they insist he's a stereotypically masculine cis man despite countless instances of misandry and discomfort in male roles and gender neutral at BEST gender presentation and several moments that heavily indicate he wants femininity and maybe even womanhood and they invalidate his autism as even a posibility with the excuse he has adhd,as if they aren't a super common combo platter and autistics/audhd people aren't misdiagnosed-on purpose at a number of not uncommon times!!!-as adhd is seen as more 'normal' than autism

OUGH so nervous (and excited) for my upcoming vtm larp this weekend. It'll be the big epic culmination of our current overarching story arc and also my first action heavy game! Terrifying!!! My character is NOT a combat kinda guy I fear!

Cartoon Network Friday Spotlight- "Mouse Trouble"

This has always been one of my favorite Tom and Jerrys, in which Tom receives a book meant to give him advice on how to catch mice, only for it to not quite as planned.

The question is if Jerry is too smart for the tricks to work or if the book isn't effective... but I think there's a third answer to consider- Tom just sucks. Isn't that delightful?

What makes "Mouse Trouble" work is how memorable and well-paced the gags are. Besides the aforementioned gag, there's plenty of good bits, including a rare time when Tom has lasting harm doled upon him- note the horrid red toupee he wears throughout the rest of the short. It's good stuff, all in all.

Make sure you are registered to vote, and check AGAIN two months before the election (early September) because some states are already purging voting rolls

Check to see if the state you are registered to vote in (like mine) has mail in ballots. They are so convenient!

Only give your filled out ballot to a pollworker 🗳️, your mail person 📬, or someone you know and trust to turn it in for you. My state requires both the voter and the person delivering the ballot for them to sign the envelope, yours might be different

Have coffee ☕ lunch or dinner with someone who's interested in issues or people down ballot (the non presidential races, local elections, and state initiatives). My mom's a politics junkie and I always learn so much from her

If you have energy and time, maybe apply to be a pollworker. I've enjoyed and been frustrated working five different elections, and yet Do Recommend . It feels good to contribute like that, and see people who are excited to vote. I met first time voters and people who have voted for over 60 years.

Fight the despair, and put your fury to use: building your social networks and your mutual aid circles. Feed the hungry, look after children, help people register to vote?

I'll be back with more ideas later. I gotta keep working on this UNPRECEDENTED and horrible timeline and since I don't have a Time Stone to fix it or change it, I have to figure out how to help make things better NOW with CONCRETE ACTIONS AND PLANS. Things I can actually DO.

two realizations this morning:

showering is a lot more difficult + tiring with long hair and i think that's part of why i've been avoiding it so much lately, but also the avoidance definitely also comes from the fact that brother lives here now. idk how to fix this but goddamn i rly truly dread showering so much and i feel such immense relief when i have gotten dressed after a shower bc i know i won't have to do all that again for a couple days

i think that when ppl (or when i myself) ask if i want to do something, a lot of the time i don't rly consider "want", i mostly consider "should". irl friend invited me to dinner w her family and i was agonizing over the decision bc yes i do want to but i know i have no energy for it so my answer should have been an easy "no thank you, but in the future yes i'd like to do that", but instead i spent 18 hours fretting over this bc i was thinking of it in terms of "SHOULD i go to dinner". like... mentally listing out the pros and cons of going vs not going, and trying to figure out what the Correct decision is. but there is no correct!! 😭😭 but i feel like there IS somehow a correct decision for every situation! idk where this comes from but yeesh it is stressful
