I’m of the opinion that besides the Redguards, it’s very difficult to tell which human race in The Elder Scrolls is which just by look alone. Their most distinct visual difference is height and that’s about it, Bretons, Nords and Imperials are all white, with Bretons being the shortest, Nords being the tallest and Imperials being in the middle and slightly tanner then the others, Boring, Boring, Boring. Where’s the visual diversity?
I could never expect this to be changed officially, but my own personal headcanon/CODA of the Imperials has them look Indian. They still keep their Roman/Southern European/Slavic/Southeast Asian influences but the people themselves are Indian in appearance.
Partially I like this cause I think it adds needed visual diversity among the human races of The Elder Scrolls and to a lesser extent I do enjoy the idea having people that look like me in my favorite fantasy setting. I am curious what others think about my headcanon.

"...And Garid of the men-of-ge once saw such a Madness from afar and maneuvered, after it had abated, to drink together with Pelinal, and he asked what such an affliction felt like, to which Pelinal could only answer, "Like when the dream no longer needs its dreamer."
-- The Song of Pelinal VI
My least played character now: Stella Gaius Amera!
A Nibenese Battlemage who is deeply interested in Imperial History, especially that of the First Era Alessians and Reman I.
With the Second Empire all but collapsed she's moved to High Rock for the time being, namely the port city of Evermore, but travels all over Tamriel in her exploits -- very Indiana Jones style.
She's written scholarly papers trying to advocate for the rights of Minotaurs on many occasions. She also researches discrepancies in various historical sources, like the jungles of Cyrodiil, finding it fascinating to look into.

Liviana: *gets side tracked AND accidentally gets invited into the Dark Brotherhood because one of the Bruma guards she was trying to teach how to close an Oblivion gate ran in front of her mid sword swing and bit the dust*
Liviana: *decides to throw caution to the wind and follow through because how hard can being an assassin really be in these trying times?*
ALSO, Liviana: "OH NO MY VAMPIRE BOSS IS HOT!"

Today was better, but still weird and difficult. I need to take a trip to my secondary territory in the mountains soon to check on everything.
I can feel myself growing increasingly antsy, territorial and irritable as the days go by.

Behold: my imagining of the crests and mottos of the landed nobility of Nibenay.
House Tharn and Hexos you will have heard of, but allow me to introduce House Avexus and House Viteleus (of whom will feature on my other blog @andrevalias-tes).

I wont tag anyone else because I'm days late on this one. But as always, if you wanna do it, have at it!
This week Sujamma wants to hear all about your big ideas. What’s a new story idea or OC idea you have? Maybe you haven’t fleshed it out yet - this is a great opportunity!
Unrelated to Rathas's story, but I've had another OC percolating who I am working on!
Here's his WIP preset for Skyrim.

Dres Yengrith Erandryn Velas, or Rand, is a rich boy gone rogue.
The shell of his story is that he is the second son of wealthy saltrice plantation owners who for unknown reasons -- although Rand suspects some sort of foul play at hand -- did fairly well throughout the Argonian invasion, managing to hold onto most of their holdings. His family has turned from slavery to sharecropping, as a way of holding onto their labor force in spite of the slavery ban.
However, they still held onto the beliefs and values of House Dres: isolationism, Dunmeri supremacy, and the belief that Morrowind belongs to the Dunmer and that all other races should be exiled from their borders. For Rand, these beliefs are provincial and backwards. Well educated despite his parents best efforts to shield him from outside influence, Rand took off when he was 17 and made for Cyrodiil, landing in Mir Corrup, a wealthy resort town in the Nibenay Basin.
With refined manners honed by interacting with many of Morrowind's elite families throughout the years, Rand assimilated easily in Mir Corrup. He was young, handsome, a great conversationalist, sexually adventurous, and had just a little bit of exoticism that the Imperial elite seemed to really favor. High end escorting became an easy job for him to fall into and that's how he got his start in Cyrodiil -- essentially as a male courtesan.
He's a few years older now, late 20s, and has taken up as a burlesque style acrobatics performer after a fling with a member of a travelling circus troupe. Recently, the troupe he was working with was hired by someone to journey to Solitude for a performance related to the wedding of Emperor Titus Mede II's cousin Vittoria. His trip to Skyrim, however, does not go as planned.
