can we remove the expectation that mutual romantic/sexual attraction means you should act on it? like you can acknowledge that there’s love in the relationship, more than platonic, and it doesn’t have to lead to a dating. stop dating out of expectation. two people with romantic feelings for each other don’t need to date. normalize that it’s okay for there to be love between people and for them to not do anything about it.

Not whump, just a vent

I love the whump community. So much. But there is just this thing I saw a few times the past weeks that makes me sad (which is a Tumblr thing in general, but yeah)

Just always the 'I hate that people write so much about X, Y needs more!'

It's still just fandom. People write what they like, in their free time. Why is it so hard to say

'I'd love to see more of Y!'

Without attacking anyone?

It's never even been directed at anything I write, and I often agree, with that I too, would like to see more of Y. But does it always have to be asked (demanded, really) with bringing down what people write for free and for fun?

I'd love to reblog and find more content for Y. But I refuse to have those insulting or demanding posts here. It's so tiring.

Anyway, it's just something I see a lot on Tumblr, in every fandom. But now I saw it in the whump community and I know I shouldn't be suprised, but-
