HE'S DONE !

10 feet tall, actual life size Wilt. I wanted to get a picture of my holding him over the stairs so you could appreciate his full height, but he's so heavy and difficult to manoeuvre that I'm afraid he'll either rip or some of his internal structure will break if I move him too much.

meet.... Aurora!

after making mossy i'm still on a dragon kick so here's another custom beanie baby!

Aurora is also handmade from @beanbagbuddies4life's pattern, using recycled and thrifted materials. Her poem reads:

Dancing colours light up the night Dragons are flying high and bright Curtains of colour in the starry sky Flicker and play way up high

I based Aurora more closely on magic due to her short plush, though only aesthetically as magic actually has a different construction to scorch despite looking similar! again the belly had to be narrowed a lot to give her shape and have her sand on her lil toes.

i love her so much! She has so much personality and the sweetest face :3 also she only took me one day to make!

Behold my favourite BUFF FROG!

While rewatching Svtfoe I once again fell in love with Yvgeny Bulgolyubo (Buff Frog) all over again. After realising there is 0% merch of him I embraced the fact I can create anything I want!

Now I wonder how to make them babies? 🤔

My second plushie commission from my first batch of 3 revealed!! My commissioner had asked for an old rag doll look and i had a fun time putting my spin on it! this plushie had many unique challenges that pushed me to try out new techniques but I think that's whats so fun about these commissions! they're so unique and I can try out new methods, build my skills, and still create a cute lil guy :D 🧸

AT LAST, after... -checks original post- eleven months, I can finally officially show off the Clown Dogs, Cotton Candy and Confetti! Both were made from 2016-era Puppy Surprise dolls, which I cleaned, split, and reassembled. (They also both got little plush hysterectomies so no more velcro pouch.) The face-ups were done in white gesso and acrylic paint, with a touch of gloss varnish on the tongues and eyes. Both of their little outfits were patterned and made by hand out of an assortment of plain ol' cotton.

meet... Mossy!

Mossy is a handmade custom beanie baby created by me :D (using @beanbagbuddies4life's pattern for a scorch spoof, which can be found here)

He's made from 100% thrifted and recycled materials, including his label which i printed on my thrifted sticker printer. I even gave him a custom poem:

If you wander in the forest deep You may just find where I sleep Among the delicate fern's arches Safe beneath the verdant branches

I deviated from the pattern a bit in not giving him a mouth (for both aesthetic and practical reasons) and also narrowing the belly considerably to make him able to stand up. The wings I traced from scorch's wings. He came up a little smaller than scorch though its hard to tell as his fluff adds a lot of body :3

next up im thinking of making a larger beanie buddy version!

a bit personal, (and something I haven't really shared on Tumblr unlike FB and Twitter), but I've been having recurring problems with my left eye as of late. I've honestly gotten used to drawing with an eyepatch on 😅 I've been prescribed medicine but if it's still not getting better by next week, I'd need to get it operated on ㅠㅠ

If you follow me on Twitter (@/vulfyre) as well, this is also the reason why I mainly cosplay characters with only one eye! I'm on cosplay hiatus at the moment though, as I have not even been able to put makeup on for the last 5 months 🥲
