About that time travel shenanigans...
Regarding upcoming chapters, I have a bit of a prediction...
I have a theory about why ONE sent Saitama home instead of making him go with Blast to confront Empty void. Not just because he wants to build up empty void as a villain, character and Blast's partner and Saitama could just wipe that prematurely by dunking on void.
It's because of Empty void's ability to genjutsu people that easily and abuse that emotional dependency is like holding a loaded Chekov's gun on Saitama's forehead.
Chekhov's Gun is a narrative principle where an element introduced into a story first seems unimportant but will later take on great significance.
If Saitama joins the fight, he can either just make Empty void useless and laughing stock because he can cheese it in a classic Saitama way, being immune to everything void does and sure, it would probably be funny OR…Empty void can trauma dump on Saitama, trigger a ptsd and make HIM useless in a fight. It would also serve to make Empty void an actually threathening villain and elevate his status and the stakes because Saitama is suddenly completely unable to handle him like he handles the rest, despite being on the scene.
Genos said Saitama essentially manipulated the laws of causality with his time travel and Empty void is casually doing the same thing and it's kind of insane how it's not a bigger deal. Empty void can jump from branching universe to another and affect them on a whim.
Tumblr media
Saitama cannot be defeated perhaps, but he's gotten disabled from the fight before, like during Garou battle. And then maybe Saitama won't remember anything at all after the Genjutsu is over because of trauma amnesia, he'd just be very visibly disturbed and suddenly the joke about having time travel trauma amnesia is no longer funny in a classic ONE fashion.
ONE never forgets. Intermission chapter with Suiryu was just to give him and Murata-sensei time to cook after doing those rewrites cuz ONE wants to do this arc right. And 2 months is a long time to cook.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Urgent you say? You don't know what you're asking for Sitch. Resolved? How preposterous indeed. It's not resolved unless Saitama is able to remember the entire thing.
ONE: Funny amnesia haha Also ONE: Here's my thesis on what happens when people have ptsd and it gets triggered.

Note
What do you think Genos' reaction would be if he discovered that Saitama's mental health depends on him? And it's not just the "oh I would be so sad" type, is the "I would lose myself and I wouldn't even care about destroying the Earth" type.
You see....I was incredulous that after Genos absorbed his core's future memories, he failed to connect the dots that Saitama went that far because of him. That it was his death that made Saitama snap to the point of almost destroying the earth (and blowing up Jupiter) without a care. Alarmingly so. And then you realize Genos' own death was barely a concerned blip on his own radar (believing Saitama could just magically 'fix' everything no matter what happens.) Flabbergasted that his own disregard, self-worth and insecurities would fester under the ~splendor of Saitama's greatness~ to internalize such a colossal misunderstanding that 'he means nothing to Saitama'......D: Just...*violently shakes his shoulders* Genos baby, no. (His - and well, their chronic obliviousness, miscommunication, and dramatic irony reaching critical levels of frustration here)
Ahem, all that is to say...is that ONE is certainly aware. And if mp100's Separation Arc tells us anything, we can bet ONE's got this unresolved conflict in their relationship slowly simmering on the backburner for now, to be addressed all in due time. (Because the manga's already shown us their cautionary 'bad ending'; what's left is for them to progress where that doesn't happen again.) So will Genos ever learn (his own worth) how much he actually means to Saitama, and will Saitama ever consciously acknowledge how much Genos means to him?? As his very important emotional anchor tethering his sanity and humanity? Without conveniently forgetting, taking Genos' presence for granted, or continually sweeping it under the rug, leaving 'tomorrow's problems to tomorrow's him'?? I'd say only til ONE deems the time is right...

Prediction #1
In a future arc of opm, an ordinary woman starts to get more screen time than normal. Most people expect her to be special, like an agent that wants to destroy the world, or some shit like that.
Turns out she's Saitama's love interest. The next episode(s) is him trying to get to get to her or something. Maybe they were talking beforehand, distant friends, I dunno.
Anyway, shenanigans happen, and he tries to confess, a lot of bullshit happen which stops him, yada yada. And then the confession happens in the most normal (Or awkward) way possible.
Anyways, they get together. More shenanigans happen, probably end of world, god, something like that.
This one's just a guess, but on one episode, she almost dies. Saitama deals with it pretty well, even more than expected. He waits for her to wake up, stay with the woman until she gets better, cares for her, fluff stuff.
Anyways, final episode. Saitama is stressed as heck, and King asks what's wrong. His back is facing the screen, and he says some dialogue, and we find out he's crying, and his biggest fear: to be bored of the relationship. King says it's okay, it happens to couples, a moral lesson, and it solves up.
In the timeskip it is likely Genos moved out.

The Follow up!
I should have updated this months ago, but you see... stuff. Like forgetting.
So, what predictions have panned out and which haven't?
Chapter 146
Number 2! Job-Having (no longer hunting) Garou is around and whapping those robots down like it's going out of fashion.
Tumblr media
He's been told to go to a shelter but I have a feeling that he'll be staying outside to clean up. Speaking of coming out of hiding, how about Prediction 52? Amai Mask is back! He used his shape-shifting powers to answer a little boy's prayers.
Tumblr media
Oh yes, and number 22 What is Drive Knight up to?
Robot-spotting, apparently. He doesn't look like he's got any intention of fighting.
Tumblr media
Okay, onward. These weren't part of the prediction, but let's see how many have panned out since:
Chapter 147
49 Puri Puri's infinite receptacle of love vs. 1000 robots?
No contest:
Tumblr media
Most of the other S-Class heroes aren't sitting on their asses doing nothing.
Predictions 14, 23, and 47. It *is* a peaceful day in City Q, Pig God finds robots tasty, and Bang has stopped cutting his nails.
Tumblr media
Close but no cigar (so far): Prediction 40. While Machine God Eguro has given us some tasty hints, so far there's no formal demands from The Organization.
Tumblr media
Also partial credit: 44 We find out what Child Emperor has realised and what he's up to. The real meat of it has to wait until...
Chapter 148
Yes, it's Child Emperor vs. Bofoi. We end on a tense stand off but we do so via revelations of rogue AIs, unethical self-modification, and drug-taking.
Tumblr media
41: The most reluctant hero in the world, Speed o' Sound Sonic, has to do something. Yeah, he takes out robots including Machine God Shunpo, but then he remembers that he's not had breakfast yet and leaves off from his unpaid do-gooding.
Tumblr media
Chapter 149
Prediction 9 McCoy finds some ethics.
See, he's a greedy and unscrupulous man, not an evil man. And his conscience has attacked him savagely.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately for him, Darkshine has not found his courage, and he's caught before he can spring Metal Bat. So those predictions are waiting a while.
Along with that, Prediction 34 is true. Mr Fuzzy *is* most pleased with how things are going. All according to keikaku.
Chapter 150
This chapter is the grand order of chickens coming to roost.
Predictions 16, 35, and 45 are all in play. The various Neo Heroes find that their suits are turning on them and the result is quite horrible. The only people who have been spared are those who've modified their suits in some way (like Accel) and those who've broken their suits, like Blue (Saitama ran into him, oops).
I was looking to experience some schadenfreude, but seeing it take all of Raiden's willpower to mutter desperately for help, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
Tumblr media
And what I thought was the easiest prediction, 53, has had to wait longest. Truthfully, Metal Knight's robots aren't much of a struggle for Genos:
Tumblr media
He's also made some discoveries and realised a few things, but none of them are good things.
The outcome? Ahhh, who can tell? The signs aren't good.
151 and beyond?
Welp, hopefully, the missing heroes come back, Saitama manages to pick Blue up and work with him, the Hero Association isn't crushed, Metal Knight stops messing with Child Emperor's mind, Genos doesn't get blood on his hands (unless it's the Rampaging Cyborg's), and Mr Fuzzy is stymied. Also, damn, is The Organization clever or what?
What's it going to take to defeat them? It's not just punches, that's for sure.
The List of Predictions for OPM Webcomic Chapter 146
Thank you to everyone who has made a bet. I was hoping that in a great irony, ONE would have put up a continuation, but so far, so bad.
Here's the list! Keep your numbers safe, and we'll see what shakes out!
Number
Prediction
1 Dr Bofoi is already dead. Bonus: Genos gets framed for his death.
2 Who's ex-hero hunter ex-jobhunter Garou hunting now?
3Dr Kuseno is not dead (light edition): Saitama did take him to get medical care after all.
4 Dr Kuseno is not dead (dark edition): Destro and Erimin have done a touch of 'recovery' work
5 Overgrown Pochi remembers that he was a guard dog, hulks out and incinerates the invading robots. All 4 million of them.
6 Tatsumaki returns triumphant and not a moment too soon. Man, what would you guys do without her?
7 Blast finally deigns to show up in this version. Bonus: he meets Blue.
8 Metal Bat gets out of jail.
9 McCoy finally finds some ethics.
10 Turns out that Saitama did follow Genos after all.
11 Saitama goes home and arrives just in the nick of time. Bonus: Somehow King still gets the credit for destroying the robots invading the HA.
12 JOKER: ONE declares that he's ending the webcomic.
13 Webigaza is toast. :(
14 Watchdogman is finally no longer mysterious.
15 Tank Top Master puts on an extra tank top and wades back into battle.
16 Accel gets a reality check.
17 Dr Bofoi has some explaining to do.
18 Zenko is real!
19 Saitama saves the day. Somehow.
20 Lightning Max (and other wounded pro-heroes) find the tender mercies of the Neo Heroes to be far from tender.
21 King shows off his muscles!
22 What's Drive Knight up to?
23 Pig God and robots. Are they tasty?
24 Black Sperm discovers his inner Dimple.
25 Garou and Metal Bat meet for the first time. Bonus: they hit it off!
26 Genos finally has a showdown with his nemesis.
27 Zombieman comes back in style, showing us his hard-earned abilities.
28 Webigaza is saved! Phew! :)
29 Never mind the robot apocalypse, what about Flashy Flash versus the Abandoned Masses? Fight!
30 Saitama gets a new hero name at last!  Bonus: it's also naff.
31 My kingdom for a sword! Atomic and his disciples are back, all blazing fury and blades.
32 Darkshine finds his courage to fight.
33 Suiryu saves Suiko.
34 Mr. Fuzzy is pleased: this is all going according to plan.
35 Just because the suits aren't sold to you doesn't mean they're free: the Neo Heroes find out what their organisation really wants from them.
36 Mental health break: Saitama's cactus did survive after all!
37 JOKER: The OPM webcomic is set to be collected and commercially published as a spin off.
38 Saitama and Blue come to an agreement.
39 ONE is extra evil: time skip to the aftermath. How long can this man keep teasing us?
40 The Organization formally makes its demands.
41 The most reluctant hero in the world, Speed o' Sound Sonic, does something about the apocalypse.  Bonus: he rids the world of A.
42 Mr. Fuzzy never saw this turn of events coming.
43 For once, Flashy Flash gets to play the main character to his heart's content. He isn't, but let him have it. :)
44 We catch up with Child Emperor and find what he's realized.
45 Raiden gets humbled anew.
46 God cube, God cube, getcha God cubes right here! No bets on who has one or how they're using it.
47 Bang stops clipping his nails long enough to do something about the pesky robots. The HA really owes him one now.
48 Genos discovers the secret of strength. This one really should have been a joker, but I could only have two.
49 Puri Puri's infinite receptacle of love versus a thousand robots. Who wins?
50 Genos gives Dr. Kuseno the decent burial he deserves.
51 One small bright spot: all is well in City Q.
52 Amai Mask comes out of hiding to help.
53 The easiest bet: there is a giant fight between Genos and Metal Knight's robots.
54 We finally find out who the Rampaging Cyborg is.

I would have preferred if Garou had kept his memory after the whole time travel adventure, and managed to do something Saitama and Genos hadn't: realize that Saitama is a problem.
I wish garou would have run off into the jungles like he did in the webcomic and just gone absolutely bonkers with forbidden knowledge, finally seeing that every big conflict comes to a head with this bald man, and how that isn't a good thing because that means the only thing standing between humanity and the kind of havoc people like himself try to wreak every day is a man who never gets there in time, never learns, and never changes despite having fended off such world shattering enemies several times before.
Can you imagine Garou being chased out of the town square because he's there with a megaphone telling an absolutely insane story about him being radioactive and getting knocked the fuck out by a god egg?
It's funny, but also could have so many interesting story repercussions; the Hero Association, who laughed Genos off, now have to rethink their entire approach to everything because the guy who was kicking the shit out of their heroes two weeks ago now wants nothing to do with them and is instead running around freaking out about the same story Genos told them, with the caveat that he doesn't think Saitama's supposed strength is anything but a ticking time bomb.
Genos would definitely end up hearing about what Garou is up to, and have to wrestle with his jealousy, his suspicion of Garou, and his attachment to Saitama if he is going to eventually team up with the only other person who knows the full extent of the truth about Saitama's power in order to prevent the doom Garou predicts will come about should other forces as powerful as the hero hunter was continue to challenge Saitama.
And of course, running around town doomsdaying is sure to catch the attention of Bang, who has no idea what to do with Garou anymore, the attention of the general population, who are going to flip their shit when the "ultimate evil" suddenly changes his mind about killing them and is trying to warn them of an even more ultimate evil, and also the attention of the exact kind of challengers Garou is trying to warn everyone about, who no doubt will be drawn to Saitama the way people who learn of his power often are.
I just think it could have been a real domino effect type deal. That being said, I'm not wanting ONE and Murata to change what they have in mind for the story. Somehow I get the feeling that the experienced writers and artists who have brought us countless other great stories have a better idea of how OPM should proceed than a guy with a Tumblr account and a dream.

Nikhil Rajpal, an engineer linked to Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has been granted access to NOAA’s Google sites, according to sources.
NOAA employees were reportedly ordered to provide Rajpal with editor-level access by Wednesday, sparking concerns over transparency and data security. Rajpal, a former Twitter and Tesla employee with a libertarian background, lacks apparent expertise in NOAA’s scientific mission, which includes climate monitoring and weather prediction.
This move aligns with broader conservative efforts to downsize NOAA, as outlined in Project 2025. DOGE’s growing influence across federal agencies, including OPM and GSA, has raised alarms about its sweeping access to sensitive government systems and data.

(THEORY/PREDICTION) !!!

THEORY I WANT TO SHARE THAT I HAVE HAD IN MIND FOR AWHILE!
(Genos, Drive Knight, Metal Knight, Mad Cyborg related)
I had a theory awhile ago about Metal Knight and Drive Knight working together secretly, but now something tells me that is not the case whatsoever.
I think it’s strange on how Drive Knight tells Genos to not trust Bofoi off the bat in the beginning from the end of season 1.
Like he’s trying to turn on the possibility of a traitor in the HA in the mind of Genos (so he becomes worked up about it, which works and favors DK later on). Like he needs someone else to do his dirty work for him, due to DK already being seen as suspicious by MK.
(ik ik im stretching here and there but, let me cook)
Tumblr media
But I feel like it’s strange on how Drive Knight tries to pin point it all at Metal Knight particularly because of his absence throughout the Hero Association. Like he’s trying to make it out as HE is the one Genos needs to target particularly. Especially because he’s the only other robot besides the 2 of them being part cyborg.
Does Drive Knight tell this information to anyone else, BESIDES GENOS?
No, not at all (at least that’s just from what I know and see, as he’s a very secretive person).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I think it’s really strange when Drive Knight starts to mention about ‘knowing’ something evil about MK. It’s like he’s inserting himself, or with the people he might work with in secret. Like a new hidden organization yet to be announced in the storyline.
Especially on the first panel below this, when he tells Genos why he’s telling him this. It all seems so manipulative, stalker kind of vibe, trying to share common ground/change his persona to be likable/trust worthy. He’s suspiciously trying a little to hard to gain his trust, he’s trying to be a victim like him, I guess gain sympathy in a way?
It’s like Metal Knight KNOWS he’s in a mentally unstable condition, that Genos seems desperate enough to find out about his ‘mad cyborg’ killer sooner or later.
If someone very important to him happened to die, Genos would whole heartily (maybe with a grain of salt) follow Drive Knights information. (Wanna know what happened? KUSENO DIED, HIS FATHER FIGURE, SOMEONE WHO WAS THERE FOR HIM IN THE BEGINNING. And wanna know what he did after? He used that information from Drive Knight to go after Metal Knight.)
Also-
HOW DOES DRIVE KNIGHT KNOW THAT GENOS’ES VILLAGE AS BEEN DESTROYED BY A ‘mad cyborg’ AS WELL???
NO ONE TOLD HIM??
SO HOW DOES HE EXACTLY KNOW!???
(It’s like out of the blue.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This only furthers my suspicions on Drive Knight.
Especially on the after math of Kuseno’s death and when robots invade nearby cities. In which Genos automatically assumes it’s the work of Metal Knight.
And now with new evidence from the newest webcomic chapter shows Metal Knights base, with no robots forming out of the base itself.
Tumblr media
As all of his robots are by the HA HQ fighting the new other robots.
(Although the chapter isn’t fully translated yet, you can see DK, which proves my previous point up above in the third section.)
I actually think Drive Knight might be working with the association that destroyed Genos’es village. It would explain on why he’s trying to pin the blame on Metal Knight and to not become suspicious from Genos POV, giving him a good alibi for the most part.
And if anything that ‘mad cyborg’ killer could be Drive Knight himself, but that’s a bit of stretch if anything.
(IM PREDICTING IT THO! MARK MY WORDS!!)
————-
A little bit more evidence mentions: (from the top of my head)
-Metal Knight tells Child Emperor to not trust anyone as his final message to him. We are shown a text of both of them used to being friends.
It’s like Metal Knight had to cut his connection towards CE for his safety as he MK already felt he was being watched himself. (But that might change due to the recent chapter that has yet to be translated, can’t fully confirm until then but just putting it out there.)
-Saitama tells Genos to just talk to Metal Knight and ask. But Genos pays no head to that, which might become his biggest mistake.
I feel like this is foreshadowing that once Genos gets close to Bofoi, and Bofoi tells him that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about/tells him straight up he had no relation to the event he speaks of. I feel like Genos might lose it completely even if Saitama is next to him and tries to calm him down.
Like I feel like Genos might almost kill Bofoi but Saitama stops Genos in time. And both start to argue and it’s starts to become sad from there.
-It’s strange how after Genos talked to DK for a bit, then Kuseno dies.
Coincidence? I think not.
It’s like Kuseno was on DK’s hit list for him and the people that he works with/the association that killed Genos’es village. And they had to get rid of him one way or another, it would explain why there was random strong robots there. They were being tracked and targeted, mainly Dr.Kuseno (as if he was getting close to the truth).
Like they to manipulate Genos just so DK could earn his trust and lose a lot of suspicion in his eyes. Even after Kusenos death.
-THE 2 MF ROBOTS FROM SEASON 1 THE SOUND O SONIC EP! (I think)
They appeared after taking back the suit of the big strong bald head guy.
It’s like very early foreshadowing of members for another association, yet to still appear out of thin air. (IMO)
————-
That’s all I wanted to share for now, I’ll edit this if I happen to remember more and study the chapters closely.
If you guys wanna add on or put in you own input, on this theory, please do! I would be happy to hear your opinion!
(And correct me if I’m wrong!!)
Until then, thank you for reading my theory! (If it makes sense 😭)
Have a nice day/night!! :D

Add doubling the unemployment rate. I predict we match his own high of 15% within 6 months.
Edit: Sorry, do not doomscroll at 3AM, you make posts like this.
To be more accurate, that's the worst case scenario.
https://www.bls.gov/charts/employment-situation/civilian-unemployment-rate.htm
The unemployment rate as of April 2020 was ~14%. The unemployment rate of Dec 2024 was ~4%.
Per the Department of Labor, 1.8 million people were unemployed as of end of Dec 2024, start of Jan 2025.
End of Dec 2024, the Federal gov employed just under 3 million people.
Per Trump (no I will not cite this, we have enough problems already and you can go look it up yourself), he'd like to reduce the Federal gov down to about 1 million.
Worst case scenario if everyone took the buyout would double the unemployment rate. That is unlikely to occur, much more likely that about 6 - 10% would accept. That would raise the unemployment rate by about .4%.
Of course that would likely just be the start of things.
Also, in other news, OPM, the Office of Personal Management, in addition to grants and funding also handles pensions, monetary veterans benefits and payroll. So if you were expecting that you had some money coming to you in the future . . . based on everyone's inability to access the portal, you don't anymore.
Tumblr media
he is literally signing away years of progress, soon enough the civil rights acts will probably be gone too

A Complete Guide to Bank Holidays in the United States
In the United States, bank holidays play a critical role in regulating the rhythm of commercial activity. While private businesses can choose their own schedules, federally recognized bank holidays dictate the closure of financial institutions, government offices, and many corporate back offices. This impacts payment processing timelines, payroll schedules, and broader cash flow planning for businesses nationwide. Whether you’re managing accounts payable or overseeing logistics operations, knowing how many bank holidays in USA can help you avoid financial disruptions and optimize internal planning.
The U.S. does not adhere to a universal holiday calendar like some countries. Instead, holidays are recognized federally, with additional observances varying by state. This decentralized system makes awareness of bank closures essential for financial professionals and business owners alike.
Answering the Question: Does America Have Bank Holidays?
For those unfamiliar with the U.S. financial system, the question often arises: does America have bank holidays? The answer is yes, and these holidays are mandated by the federal government under the direction of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). On these dates, Federal Reserve Banks are closed, and most major commercial banks follow suit.
Commonly observed bank holidays include New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. These holidays not only affect physical bank locations but also electronic transactions and Automated Clearing House (ACH) processing. For companies that rely on same-day payments or invoice factoring, these holiday pauses can delay cash availability by 24 to 48 hours.
Understanding the Structure of American Bank Holidays
The list of American bank holidays includes ten federally recognized dates each year. While some holidays, such as Christmas Day and Memorial Day, are consistent, others follow floating schedules. For instance, Martin Luther King Jr. Day always falls on the third Monday of January, not on his actual birth date.
Federal holidays that land on a weekend are observed on the nearest weekday, which can further complicate business scheduling. If July 4th falls on a Saturday, for example, the holiday may be observed on Friday, July 3rd. This creates a ripple effect on payroll processing, vendor payments, and ACH settlements that must be accounted for in advance.
Why Businesses Monitor Bank Holiday Calendars Closely
From logistics to staffing, understanding when banks are closed is critical for efficient operations. Financial planners, HR departments, and payment processors all need visibility into federal holidays to manage their timelines effectively. Businesses often ask: is it bank holiday in America today? The answer influences cash disbursement schedules, especially in sectors like transportation, staffing, and supply chain management.
This awareness helps avoid late fees, payroll delays, or contractual disputes related to payment timing. Businesses that are active across state lines or serve federal clients must also account for state-specific observances, which can cause staggered closures depending on the region.
Historical and Predictive View: Bank Holidays Past and Future
While most businesses look ahead, reviewing past holiday calendars can help benchmark operational performance. For instance, knowing how many bank holidays in 2025 will allow CFOs and A/P managers to build out payment schedules, set contingency plans, and manage cash flow peaks and valleys across quarters.
As 2025 approaches, businesses should expect the standard ten federal holidays, barring any legislative changes. These dates will affect everything from ACH cutoffs to factoring advance schedules, especially for companies dependent on predictable cash inflows and vendor commitments. Automated financial platforms often include holiday calendars in their scheduling features, but manual review is still essential for proper oversight.
What to Expect From America Bank Holidays 2025
Planning around America bank holidays 2025 is not just a matter of convenience—it’s a strategic necessity. Federal Reserve closures affect all layers of financial infrastructure, from customer payments to third-party disbursements. For example, businesses that rely on invoice factoring must schedule invoice submissions carefully to avoid funding gaps caused by bank holidays.
In 2025, expect closures on widely recognized dates such as Presidents’ Day (February), Juneteenth National Independence Day (June), and Veterans Day (November). Each of these will trigger a temporary pause in payment clearing, which requires proactive planning from accounting departments, payroll teams, and financial service providers.
Bank Holidays and Their Impact on Business Continuity
Despite being limited to ten days per year, bank holidays have an outsized impact on U.S. commerce. This influence is felt particularly in time-sensitive industries where delayed payments can cascade into missed deadlines or broken contracts. Because many systems depend on automated payment workflows, any deviation—such as a federal closure—needs to be pre-accounted for within operational models.
Even companies not directly engaged in banking must consider the secondary effects. Supplier delays, employee availability, and customer service hours may all shift around the bank holiday calendar. This makes awareness and forecasting vital tools for leadership teams aiming to maintain seamless operations year-round.

Empty Void Versus Blast prediction
I got this little prediction for their fight (minor wc spoilers ahead)
-*-
Empty void and Blast duke it out, but Blast gets caught in a genjutsu. He looks around and sees his son Blue and knowing its just another genjutsu, he does little to react. His son asks where has he been, his mom is gravely ill and he hasn't visited even once. He's been home alone for a long time, where has his dad been romping around?
Blue keeps escalating and hurling accusations and abuse at Blast about how he's a horrible dad and finally yells at him that he doesn't love his dad anymore, while Blast just takes it with an impassive face and mutters "this is just genjutsu…" but on the inside, he's seething at himself and feeling guilty because Blue is right, he's horrible dad but he just wanted to protect Blue from the horrible truth of God's existence and protect his only son from him too. The more distance they have, the less he can be taken emotionally advantage of and the chances of success would become higher… or so he tells himself.
Finally Blast yells "Enough!" and surprisingly punches Blue with gravity knuckle and ends the genjutsu and Void is immediately right next to him and taunts him.
"Oh you would punch your own son? You really are an asshole Blast."
Blast glances at Void tiredly. "Don't play games with me, Void."
Empty Void just grins savagely. "Then how about we stop playing around and make this a little bit real eh? You know your son is having a meeting right about now, how about we pay him a little visit?" Void suddenly vaults into the air.
Blast can barely exclaim in a horrified tone before Void disappears. He instantly makes a portal and follows Void.

How is AI Evolve in Human Resource Management?
In recent years, the evolution of artificial intelligence in human resource management has become more popular.  This innovation is not just a trend; it is reshaping how businesses hire, retain, and support their employees. From recruitment to retirement, AI is making human resource processes faster, smarter, and more efficient. Let’s dive into how AI is transforming HR, especially in areas like recruitment, retirement benefits, and support for older citizens.
The Role of Artificial Intelligence in HR
AI is now being used at every stage of HR management. It can screen resumes, conduct video interviews, evaluate candidate skills, and even predict employee turnover. In fact, according to LinkedIn’s Global Talent Trends 2024, 76% of recruiters believe AI has a significant impact on hiring decisions.
Not only does AI help in saving time, but it also removes human bias, making the process fairer. Companies might have faced issues in the past with subjective decisions, but now they can count on AI to provide more objective evaluations.
Benefits of AI in Human Resource Management
AI brings many benefits to HR:
Faster hiring through resume scanning and candidate matching.
Better employee engagement with virtual HR assistants.
Support for retired employees, including easy access to benefit details.
Fair hiring practices, removing bias and human errors.
Cost reduction by automating manual HR tasks.
Tumblr media
Smarter Hiring with AI-Based Platforms
Nowadays, if a company wants to hire faster and smarter, it must rely on AI-powered tools. These platforms help filter applicants based on their skills, experience, and personality fit. For example:
Hire Verified: This platform is leading the way in AI-based hiring. It uses AI to verify candidate skills, evaluate resumes, and recommend the best matches.
Glaxit: Known for offering smart recruitment software, Glaxit uses machine learning to improve job-candidate matching.
Pymetrics and HireVue: These platforms assess candidates using behavioral data and AI-driven interviews.
If a company used these platforms, it would likely reduce its hiring time by up to 40%.
AI for Retired Employee Benefits
AI is not only for fresh recruitment; it also supports retired employees. Governments and companies have started using AI to manage retirement plans and benefits. For example, AI bots can answer pension-related queries 24/7, helping senior citizens feel more in control of their finances. Let’s say a retired employee needs to check their pension status. Instead of calling HR and waiting in line, they can now use AI chatbots to get instant answers. This reduces stress and increases satisfaction. According to a report by Deloitte, AI-driven tools have improved the response time for retired employee queries by 60%.
If more companies adopted this system, many retired workers would be able to handle their benefits without confusion.
New Government Recruitment Process Involves AI
Several government departments across the globe are modernizing their hiring process with AI. For instance, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has introduced AI in screening federal job applications. This makes hiring quicker and ensures the right candidates are selected.
Similarly, Pakistan’s Public Service Commissions are experimenting with AI tools for fairer and more accurate recruitment. This digital shift will help eliminate favoritism and manual errors. If governments worldwide continue this trend, the public sector will become more efficient and transparent.
Old Citizen Outlook Toward AI in HR
Older citizens may feel uncertain about AI, but many are adapting well. A recent survey by Pew Research Center shows that 65% of older adults are open to learning AI tools if it benefits their retirement and communication with HR.
At first, some might have resisted this change. However, after seeing how AI simplifies tasks like filing claims or updating information, they are now embracing it. Imagine your grandparent logging into a portal and using a voice assistant to check their healthcare benefits. Thanks to AI, this is already possible in many countries.
Tumblr media
AI in HR: A Day-to-Day Example
Let’s consider a real-life example. Ahmed, an HR manager, needed to hire a content writer urgently. In the past, he would have spent days going through resumes. Now, using Hire Verified, he uploaded a job description and let AI do the filtering.
The platform picked the top 10 resumes based on keywords, experience, and writing samples. Ahmed interviewed just three candidates and hired the perfect match all within two days. This shows how artificial intelligence in HR can save time and improve results.
Conclusion: The Future is Bright with AI in HR
To wrap things up, the use of artificial intelligence in HR is not just a trend, it’s a necessity. Whether it’s for hiring new talent, supporting retired workers, or creating fair recruitment systems, AI is making everything smoother and faster. Tools like Hire Verified and Glaxit are providing an AI-driven verified hiring process that revolutionizes HR departments. With the right approach, both young and old employees can benefit from this change. As the saying goes, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks,”  but in the world of AI and HR, even the old dogs are learning fast.

OPM Webcomic Chapter 145 Review
Another Sunday, another review. At this rate, I may just about catch up on my OPM reviews by September! Anyway, it's been a while, so the summary is going to be a bit detailed.
Summary
Cast your mind back a little bit (if you're a lucky lately-come reader reading the story in one session) or a lot bit (if you've been following it chapter-by-chapter). Back then, the three Machine Gods sent to assassinate Dr Kuseno told Genos that the Plan would be happening at the breaking of dawn. Why do I bring your attention to this? Because as this chapter shows, not long has passed since.
Tumblr media
We open to a page on which the headquarters of the Hero Association and the Neo Heroes are juxtaposed. While the Hero Association has no idea of what is happening in all the cities under attack owing to the communications going down -- and something else has come to their attentions that looks even more dire -- over at Neo Hero HQ, all is in hand. The first attack has been 'allowed', the Neo Hero teams have been deployed, and it's just a matter of time before the source of the robots is found.
McCoy is shaking with horror. He's all for stunts, but faced with such widespread catastrophe, can't the pro-heroes be given battle suits so they too can fight effectively, instead of being targets?
Tumblr media
The answer he receives is even more chilling, as the team overseeing efforts shuts him down in no uncertain terms, asking him to focus and not feel nostalgia for the HA. They also refuse to deploy the S-Class heroes in the Neo Heroes, with Metal Bat still in custody, Super Alloy Darkshine clueless, and Child Emperor deemed too hard to control.
Tumblr media
Speaking of Child Emperor, shall we check in on our boy hero? We find him giving a resume of what's happened to date. He's reprising his role in the MA arc, only with a key difference: his chilling notes on what is happening are addressed to himself as an aide to his understanding. He no longer looks to Bofoi, nor indeed to any adult, for help. From him, we understand that the attack started at 05:41 and that the robots would systematically eliminate any sources of local resistance before moving to destroy the cities they were deployed to. He continues his narration as he finally manages to gain access to the data table of one of the captured robots and care it to the database of industrial robots he'd built earlier.
Tumblr media
Then he goes white as he bites through his lollipop in horror. Almost at the same time, one of the Neo Hero functionaries comes to summon him, which seems to engender further horror. However, when he swivels around to face the visitor, he is the picture of calm. He shoulders his backpack, sans body armour and declares himself ready to act.
Tumblr media
Elsewhere, Suiryu's team is making short work of the robots. Suiryu pays scant attention to them as he thinks of his sister with concern. It looks like he may be paying the Hero Association another visit. This time to tell the heroes there not to come.
Tumblr media
Speaking of the Hero Association, we see that Suiko is indeed living up to her brother's prediction and oversleeping. She barely stirs when her 7 am alarm goes off and is only roused by the All Hands emergency summons. She gets ready and dashes to where the rest of the heroes are gathered. She asks where to deploy, only to learn that things are well beyond deploying. With only about 40 heroes on site, none of them Class S, they're all that's left to hold out against the r4 million-- and counting -- robots battering at the gates. Metal Knight's defence robots do their best, but it's not long before they're brought down. The mood is bleak indeed.
Tumblr media
In the midst of the gloom, Forte walks off. To feed the dog. He pours the usual ration of food for Rover and Black Sperm and bids them eat slowly. He hopes that Saitama will somehow link up with Blue and come through.
Tumblr media
As he eats, Black Sperm reflects on what's going on. He can afford to be analytical: as little monsters, he and Rover are very likely to survive. This is a deliberate push to eliminate the poorly-performing heroes and leave only a predictable group. A group Black Sperm doesn't fear. With Saitama away, the Hero Association is finally out of luck, brought down by an enemy who has prepared very carefully. Works for him.
Tumblr media
Speaking of devastation, Blue is coming to a realisation similar to that of Webigaza's last chapter: that 'winning' is hollow indeed in the face of the destruction wrought by the robots. Despite having expended a lot of energy, he calls HQ, asking them to hurry up and locate the source of the robots. He can't save people, restore lives, or repair livelihoods. But he can at least fight.
Tumblr media
And finally, speaking of sources of evil, we close the chapter with Genos having arrived at the first of the installations that Bofoi has. As he walks forward, alarms go off an an armed defence boots up. The chapter ends with Genos walking into the howling dark.
Tumblr media
Meta: True Enemies
Nothing is as scary as a human being
I'm going to ask you to look at the expressions on McCoy's and Child Emperor's faces. McCoy is looking at the executives of the Neo Heroes as if he's truly seeing them for the first time, while Child Emperor is frozen as if the person who has appeared behind him is an enemy. They've just put it together -- the true enemy is paying their wages.
Tumblr media
Not all cyborgs advertise their non-human side. I may not be a betting person, but the entirety of Neo Hero brass is almost certainly cyborgs. There's a reason Erimin and Destro had to take out Koko stat before he rumbled them. Nothing can be allowed to get in the way of The Plan.
That said, it's not the mechanical side of cyborgs that came up with The Plan. It's the greedy, cruel, and entirely human side that came up with an ambition to control the world and worked out how to make it happen. Their being cyborgs is an identity that separates them from the rest of humanity, affording them a vantage point from which they look down on people, and also, as we've learned, you cannot become a cyborg without an extraordinary amount of willpower and self-discipline. This is a plan not only dreamed up by cruel, greedy people (who are common) but by people possessed of extraordinary self-discipline and determination... and money. It's not cheap to be a cyborg. What a terrible combination that is!
Remember way back when Genos was talking about a rampaging cyborg and how hard it had proved to find in the four years since? It starts to make perfect sense now.
Measure Twice, Destroy Once
In earlier chapters, I had thought that the goal of today's attack was to discredit the Hero Association once and for all and establish the Neo Heroes as the true heroes. I thought way too small. Never mind discredit the Hero Association: The Organization is out to erase them completely. Just as they sent 10 powerful robots, at least three of them highly intelligent dragon-level threats, to ensure that one little scientist got killed without fail, they're sending millions of robots to ensure that the HA is made a bad memory.  It's clear that Bofoi isn't responsible for this: with the HA slated for elimination, the best thing for him to do as a collaborator would have been to stand down his robots and open the gates wide. It's not like there are going to be any witnesses to care about whether or not Bofoi betrayed them.
At some point, the attack will end, and at that point, only the Neo Heroes will be left to provide security. Society will be broken, and survivors will have to be grateful for whatever protection they can get.
Bofoi is probably the only source of widespread opposition they could face (where is his robot army?) but it looks like they've got a plan for that too. Unless Metal Knight is a very good talker and Genos is in a listening mood, a gross miscarriage of justice looks set to occur.
There is, of course, a wild card The Organization has kept missing, Saitama. But where is he? What is he doing? And will it be enough to make a difference to people? Who can tell? ONE, where is the next instalment?!
