Febuwhump 2025 - As the Games Go 'Round
Read on ao3
Chapter 1: Don't Stop Believin'
A buzzer sounded. “Zzz-Wrong! Try again!”
Legend wanted to scream, or pull his hair out, or throw something. Maybe all three.
Phew…breathe…He had to remember why he was doing this.
He pulled out the package he’d found outside his door at the local inn, after waking up entirely alone. Atop the package sat a letter, written on fancy, brightly patterned paper in an atrociously flamboyant script:
Where the wind fish plays and the oracle sways
In the home of the once mighty and fallen,
From the light world high to the dark world low
You’ll find the four heroes calling.
Holodrum, Labrynna, Hytopia too
Tzikizi the Great is waiting for you!
Link, Hero of Legends, is cordially invited to my home by the sea.
Please bring your wit, your grit, and a hundred rupees or three,
For the games we shall play will be legendary!
Eurgh. He shivered, utterly creeped out that this random stranger knew so much about his life and adventures.
Under the letter, wrapped in harsh linen, were Wind's pirate charm, Time's ocarina, Twilight’s shadow crystal, and Hyrule's flute, all concerningly spattered with rust-red drops of blood. Presumably, these were the “four heroes calling" mentioned in the invitation.
From there, it had taken just a few questions in town to direct him to the manor on the shores of the Kohol Sea. The warnings from the townspeople about the character of this “Tzikizi the Great" left a sick feeling in his gut.
He put away the package and letter as the board reset, then made another choice.
“Zzz-Wrong! Try again!”
He groaned, thoroughly fed up with the puzzles and chance games in this goddess-forsaken funhouse. Every moment he spent on “Guess the Chest" or “Spin the Wheel" was one more moment his brothers were in danger.
The game reset, Legend kept a close eye on the pieces. He made his choice. Nayru, please let this be the one.
Bells above his head rang, and the lights around the board flashed. “Winner! Winner! Winner!!” a tinny voice sang, and Legend heaved a sigh of relief. One step closer.
A screen slid across the game board, a gentle light flickering within. Usually, these screens gave him his next clue in a stupid little verse, but this time a pictograph was projected instead.
In it, Legend saw his missing brothers, still in their sleep clothes, kneeling with their arms bound behind their backs and dark blindfolds covering their eyes.
Wind leaned on Time, while Twilight supported Hyrule. All four had bruises and cuts along every visible surface. It hurt to see, but at the same time a fierce pride welled inside – whatever had happened to them, they hadn’t let themselves be caught without a fight.
The image faded away, replaced instead with his next clue, in the same awful script as the invitation.
Time drifts ever on,
From twilight,
to night,
and then to dawn.
The wind o'er Hyrule blows foul and fair,
Says to the Hero of Legend, "Better beware!"
Follow the wind and the light where they go,
And at last you shall see those dear ones you know.
The verse flickered nauseatingly on the screen, but Legend read it twice more, trying to commit it to memory. Time, Twilight, Wind, Hyrule…Wishing me safety…Follow the lights and the wind? That must be the next clue.
The last line gave him hope – one more test, one more trial, and he’d find his brothers.
He was on his third read through when he noticed an oddity in the flickering light. In the lower corner of the screen, numbers were counting down steadily.
2:59
2:58
2:57
2:56
2:55
Simultaneously, a deep fog began to fill the room, punctured only by a series of torches, leading out the door and back down the hallway he'd just come from. A draft picked up somewhere within the room, also guiding him to the torches.
Guess that covers following the lights and the wind.
Wait. Time drifts ever on! That was a part of the clue, too!
2:33
2:32
2:31
2:30
The fog settled on his skin, cold and clammy, but the chill that shot through him was unrelated to the fog. Legend had two and a half minutes to find his brothers, in a manor the size of a castle. He took a few steps toward the nearest torch then stopped in shock.
Voices, in the wind, faint, near imperceptible, even to his bunny-like ears. But present nonetheless.
Worse, they were his brothers' voices.
Hurry Legend, please! Wind whispered.
Be careful! Hyrule pleaded.
We’re counting on you! Time and Twilight's voices overlapped.
Now centered on the screen, the countdown continued.
2:12
2:11
2:10
2:09
Legend ran. Torch to torch, following the breeze, driven on by his brothers' increasingly desperate pleas. His heart pounded in his chest as he mentally kept track of the time he had left.
0:18
0:17
0:16
0:15
He skidded around a corner and saw – in the distance or nearby, the fog was wavering too much to tell – a more steady, warm glow he knew instinctively to be the end of the path, directly ahead.
0:08
0:07
0:06
Legend poured magic into his Pegasus boots and sprinted, praying he’d make it before the timer in his head reached zero, watching the light draw ever closer.
0:03
0:02
0:01
He slid to a stop inside a dim room, with one bright spotlight illuminating a giant screen. On it, the numbers 0:00 flashed accusingly.
On the ground to one side of the door knelt his brothers, looking just as bad as they had in the pictograph. At the sound of his boots on the tile, they sat up a little straighter, ears twitching to locate his presence.
“Vet, ‘s that you?”
“You shouldn’t be here, this guy is crazy!”
“Wind is right, Legend, you need to leave, this man has it out for you.”
“Shush, all of you!” Legend snapped. He was grateful for their concern, but they didn't have time! He knelt behind Hyrule and started to cut his bonds. “I’ve already played this guy's games; it’s time to get you out of here.”
“You think you’ve played all my games, Hero of Legend?” a crackling, callous voice echoed around the room.
All five heroes shuddered, the four on the floor huddling closer together while Legend sprang to his feet, hand on his sword hilt, hunting for the person behind the voice. “Show yourself!” he shouted.
Chattering laughter bounced around the room, making the hair on Legend's arms and the back of his neck stand up straight. The voice ignored him. “How late was he, dear Hero of Time?”
Time gulped, but responded. “Half a second,” he whispered.
The voice tutted, affecting utter disappointment. “Oh dear, I expected better of you.” Then, like a switch being flipped, the tone turned glassy, fluting and almost bird-like. “No matter! Now that you are here, my collection is complete!”
“What collection?” Legend growled. “What are you talking about?”
“Why, I’ve collected the Hero of Time and his descendants, fallen or otherwise!” Two claps sounded from across the space, and strips of lights like Wild's Sheikah tech illuminated the rest of the room.
At the head of a rounded, double staircase, a man stood. He was thin and twitchy, with sharp, hooded eyes and a beak-like nose. Around his shoulders hung a scintillating cloak of blue and purple scales. It sported a tall, wide collar that framed his head like wings, patterned in orange, black and blue scales that caught the light and flashed brightly.
The man smiled, all menacing teeth and cold, calculated intent. He described a deep, mocking bow. “Thank you for honoring the request of Tzikizi the Great, darling Hero of Legend.”
For all the showiness, Legend wasn’t impressed. “Yeah, no,” he scoffed. “Nobody’s staying here as part of a ‘collection.’ I’m only here to get them back.”
Behind him, Wind whimpered. Tzikizi's expression froze in a false smile. “What did you say?” he said, bright and venomous. He began to stalk down the stairs.
Legend gulped, but held his ground. “I’ll play whatever game you want,” he said, “but we’re not staying here.”
“Legend NO!” Hyrule burst out. “You can’t trust him! He’s a snake, he’s-"
Tzikizi snapped, and gags appeared around the mouths of the four bound heroes, muffling any further complaints. “None of that now,” he hissed. He eyed Legend, and Legend's bunny heart quailed at the predatory gleam he saw there.
A slow, cruel smile oozed across Tzikizi’s face. “I know just the one,” he breathed. With a flourish of his cape, he produced two dice and held them out to Legend, nearly vibrating with excitement.
Cautiously, Legend took the pair of dice and examined them. One had six sides, on which he saw the faces of his brothers, as well as his own face and Tzikizi’s.
The other die had a confusing array of image pairs: bubbling water, fire, a broken bone, forked lightning, a knife, a spear, a person holding their throat, and several sets of broken chains. Every symbol, aside from the chains, had an arrow pointing either up or down next to it.
Tzikizi clapped in delight as Legend examined the dice. As if it were a signal, a handful of Armos-like beings filed into the room and the blindfolds around his brothers' eyes vanished. “And of course my automata will ensure swift and fair delivery of any…prizes…to be won,” he chirped giddily. “So? What do you say?”
Legend continued inspecting the dice, trying to see how they would constitute a game, but came up empty. He looked up at Tzikizi. “I don’t understand,” he said plainly.
Tzikizi recoiled as if offended at the very thought. “Why, I thought it would be obvious. We will gamble for their freedom.” His eyes narrowed, and all bravado and false affectation vanished, leaving a stone-cold certainty in its place. “I want you to hurt,” he enunciated clearly. “That larger die has a series of horrible things I’m willing to do to make that so.
“The smaller die has the victim. The larger, what will be done to the victim. Landing on the chains will grant that person their freedom. You and I will take turns rolling the dice. My automata will follow through. Self-sacrificing hero that you are, you can choose to take their punishment yourself.
“No single consequence will kill you, I can promise that. But too many…well.” His eyes glinted madly, and the collar of his cloak flashed blinding-bright. “If death is your wish…for their freedom…I won’t stop you.”

Snow Daze
@thebackofmymind4, I finally started writing this thing. Here's a tidbit.
For once, the weather was cooperating.
Time stared down the hill in front of him, mentally mapping turns and bumps on the unfamiliar slope. It’d been a while, nearly four years, since the Chain had managed a winter vacation, and the opening of a new resort only a few hours away had made skiing the obvious choice. Not that he minded.
He was pulled from his thoughts as Twilight dropped down from the ski lift behind him. “What do you think, pup?”
“Eh. It’s a red slope,” Twilight replied, sliding to a stop next to him, the snowboard beneath his feet kicking up a small plume of powdery snow. “Tough run, but nothing we can’t handle. Wild and Legend decided to head for the double diamond.” “I expected as much. And the others?”
“Wars’s right behind me.” Because of course he was, Time thought with a snort of laughter. “Sky’s at the black run. The others decided to stick to the kiddie slope- I think Four’s teaching Wind to snowboard.”
“Good.” Time turned as the creak of the ski lift and a soft thump announced Warriors’ arrival. “Hey, Captain. Surprised you’re not up at the diamond with Sky.”
Warriors adjusted his ski goggles against the sun-drenched snow and huffed a laugh. “Not today. Sky had his ‘I am speed’ face on, and I didn’t feel like dealing with that.”
Time chuckled and bent his knees, leaning into the slope. “Fair. Race you.”
“Are you sure you’re up for that, old m- Hey!” Warriors glared as Time took off down the slope. It only took a few seconds for him to follow, yelling something incomprehensible.
Twilight rolled his eyes. Every single time, Captain. Every. Single. Time.

A Message From the Dead: Discussion Post
I'm going to keep all of this series in the same post, since I have too many ideas to make a whole post for each one. I'll update this post each time a new fic in this series is posted.
Works Total in Series: 4
A Message From the Dead (completed, chapters: 1/1, words: 459, written by me) A Message From the Dead: Looking for a Ghost (chapters: 2/?, words: 1,759, written by me) A Message From the Dead: Biggest Regret (chapters: 1/?, words: 1,877, written by @rin-may-1103) A Message From the Dead: A Sister's Love (chapters: 1/?, words: 686, written by me)
Words Total: 4,781
Based off a prompt I posted on my main blog, @op-sys-chaos, I decided to write this out as a full fic. Other people also wrote their own versions, so I offered for them to join me in posting them together on AO3! So far, @thevoidstaredback and @rin-may-1103 are the only two people in the series, but if anyone else wants to be involved, let me know!
This is the post to leave notes on if you want to discuss the fic! I love seeing what y'all think, so please leave notes with feedback and such!

Went a little crazy last night thinking about Link after the ending of Ocarina of Time and how the seven years of his life that were stolen from him were returned, but he can't really become a child again because he remembers being an adult.
And then he goes through Majora's Mask, which is the Zelda game most concerned with mortality, which once again has him shifting between child and adult forms. And it shows that he indeed could not simply return to Kokiri Forest, he experienced adulthood, he can't stay in the land of eternal childhood. His destiny is to become an adult.
Also going with the idea of Hero's Shade in Twilight Princess being Oot/MM Link things come full circle in that now Link is the dead spirit entrusting his powers to a new hero.
#oc#Legend of Zelda#Ocarina of Time#Majora's Mask#All of this was prompted by meming about a Link and Kazooie feud based on magazine art of Kazooie stealing a candy cane from Link's stockin

Valicer Multiamory Month, Day Ten: Meet the family (Modern AU)
We've hit the double digit days now in @polyamships's Multiamory March -- and, in a break from tradition with these "prompt fic" challenges/collections, I've stuck with the same universe for two days in a row! Mostly because when I saw today's prompt, "Meet the family," I knew I wanted to do Victor and Alice meeting Smiler's parents, Matthew and Carol Alton --
But, uh, as it turns out, I only have two universes where Matt and Carol actually show up as Smiler's parents -- the Modern AU and Valicer In The Dark. And I'd actually already written VITD Victor and Alice meeting Matt and Carol as part of the last chapter of "A Murder Shared Is A Murder Thirded" (said last chapter is not actually UP at the time of posting, but still). So Modern AU it was! XD Anyway, here's the trio arriving at the door of Matt and Carol's place, with Victor and Alice about to make an interesting discovery about the pair...
(Oh, and for reference: Carol mentioning Victor getting a special dip with no artichokes is a reference to the original "Meet The Family" set of Not-Incorrect Quotes, where Victor revealed he's allergic to artichokes in response to Smiler texting their mum to make her artichoke dip. The allergy itself is a headcanon based off an old Corpse Bride storyboard. *thumbs up*)
--
“Smiler!”
“Hey, Mum! Dad!”
Victor stared as Smiler practically threw themselves at their parents, wrapping them in a hug that was eagerly reciprocated. Wow...you’d never get away with that in my family, he thought, biting his lip. Mother would consider it so lower-class to actually show affection to her only child, and Father would be more interested in making some terrible joke that wouldn’t land at all… His eyes went to Alice, watching the scene with a sad, nostalgic smile. Then again, at least I have parents, so maybe I shouldn’t complain.
Smiler pulled away from their folks after a moment, grinning to beat the band – though, admittedly, they did that on a regular basis anyway. “Great to see you guys again! I’m really looking forward to this!”
“It’s great to see you!” Smiler’s father – Matt, if Victor remembered correctly – agreed, smile as bright as his child’s. He promptly turned it on Victor and Alice, walking toward them with arm outstretched. “And it’s a delight to meet you two at last! Matthew Alton!”
“Victor Van Dort,” Victor said, taking his hand (and privately hoping his handshake was firm enough). “And this is Alice Liddell.”
“Pleasure to meet you,” Alice nodded, offering her own hand in turn.
“Oh, the pleasure is all ours,” Matt assured her, pumping both their arms. “Smiler’s told us so many wonderful things about you two!”
“Anyone who makes them so happy is more than welcome in our home!” Smiler’s mother – Carol, yes – added, coming to join her husband.
“I’m glad to hear–”
Victor blinked as he realized he had to look down rather farther than he’d though to meet Carol’s eyes. “That,” he finished lamely. What – she barely comes up to Matt’s shoulder! I haven’t met anyone so short since Lord Everglot! And that was back in Burtonsville, where I’m used to people being odd sizes! Does she think I’m looming? I hope not… He hunched down slightly, trying to reduce his six-foot-three by a few inches. “T-they’ve told us a lot of n-nice things about you too.”
“Yes – I’m rather looking forward to experiencing you in the flesh, not just secondhand,” Alice said, cool as a cucumber – though Victor spotted her eyes flicking between the pair.
“Oh, us too,” Carol said, beaming. She turned and waved them through the door. “Come on in – we’ve got plenty of nibbles! And don’t worry, Victor, I made a special dip for you. No artichokes, I promise.”
“Thank you.” Victor watched as she went inside with Smiler and Matt, then nudged Alice. “She’s in heels!”
“I noticed! Tall ones too!” Alice shook her head, then smiled at him. “Well – makes our height difference look normal, doesn’t it?”
“I suppose – at least they seem nice.” Victor took a steadying breath, then started in. “Let’s just hope this goes better than when I first met Victoria’s parents.”
#MultiamoryMarch#MultiamoryMarch2025#valicer#fanfic#valicer multiamory month#victor van dort#alice liddell#smiler alton#corpse bride#alice madness returns#the smiler#human smiler au#don't remember the last time I did the same universe two prompts in a row#but that's just how it worked out this time#now TECHNICALLY Matt and Carol are also in Londerland Bloodlines#but they never actually appear on-screen#as Smiler ended up disappearing from their lives when they were Embraced by Kelman#...actually they're in the Holistic AU too but I haven't thought about THAT in ages so#anyway yes have Victor thinking about how his parents would NEVER be so affectionate with him :(#and then being 'what the fuck this lady short O.o' XD#I've mentioned before that Matt and Carol are based off the people hawking goods in the Smiler Shop TV skits that play in the gift shop#and yes the woman in those videos is WAY SHORTER than the guy even in very high heels#I don't know if she's very short or if the guy is very tall but#it's not quite EVERGLOT level difference but it's very noticeable#fortunately as per the linked not-incorrect quotes Victor will soon be distracted by pictures of the family's trip to rural Lithuania XD#and Smiler accidentally implying they want to move in together#queued

Axel was pacing.
Phone in hand, he walks back and forth across his living room, so much so that he half expects to leave a line in the old carpet. He stares down at his phone, thumb hovering over the ‘call’ button, willing himself just to push the damn thing as a hundred questions flitted through his mind, preventing him from doing so.
Was it okay to call? Would he pick up? Would he be annoyed? Did he even have the same number still?
Axel chews his lower lip as he makes another lap around the room. Finally, with a deep breath, Axel hits the button and collapses down onto the couch with a sigh, knee bouncing as he listens to the tinny ringing coming through the phone’s speaker.
Just as he’s about to hang up out of fright, the ringing stops with a click.
“Hello?”
The voice - that familiar voice - makes Axel suck in a sharp breath, his stomach filled with butterflies as though he were sixteen again calling his crush.
“R-roxas! Hi! It’s uh, it’s me, Axel.”
There’s a beat of silence on the other end, a fraction of a second that feels more like an eternity. Axel worries the other man will hang up.
“Axel!” Roxas replies, sounding more surprised than anything. “It’s been awhile… what, uh… what’s up?”
He doesn’t sound angry, or annoyed. Rather, he sounds about as awkward and timid as Axel feels, if Axel’s reading him right.
“Oh, well…” Axels eyes scan the room and land on the box sitting on his coffee table. Old cardboard, bent and scuffed at the corners, the flaps opened to expose the contents inside. “I found some things of yours. Some of your summer clothes, looks like.”
Another small pause, and then a chuckle. “Is that right?” Roxas asks, his voice warming, and Axel can practically see the tension leaving his shoulders.
“Yeah, they were in a closet. I was looking for my winter jacket, actually, and stumbled across them.” Peeking into the box once again, Axel glances a pair of old sneakers, some t-shirts and tank tops, a pair or two of shorts. “That Destiny Island tank top you like is in here,” he says. He recalls exactly how Roxas looked in it too, sunlit hair and tanned skin, walking along the sand, looking right at home in the short few months they call summer.
“Yeah?” Roxas asks. “I though I’d lost it years ago.”
“I bet,” Axel chuckles. “I figure I can give them away if you don’t want them, but if you do I can mail it down to ya. You’ll just have to remind me your new address.”
Roxas hums on the other end of the line. “Right, right… here,” He tells Axel his mailing address and Axel dutifully jots it down in his notes. It’s quiet, then, both men lapsing into silence, unsure of what to say or do now that Axel’s reason for calling is taken care of. Axel chews the inside of his cheek while he listens to the clock tick on the wall and the soft staticky sound of the other end of the phone.
Then, “So… how have you been?”
Axel’s startled by the question, and takes a moment to answer. “O-oh, I’m alright!” he answers. “Staying busy, mostly. Getting ready for winter to roll in; you know it’s just around the corner.”
“I imagine so,” Roxas says with a hum. “Winters there are as cold as ever, I suspect.”
Axel chuckles. “Yeah, that much hasn’t changed. Whole town hasn’t changed much, really.”
“That right?”
“Yeah, I mean, you know how it is. Lotta talk but nothing really happens. Oh, except I guess they did build that new casino.”
“Really? Never thought that would actually go through.”
“Oh it did,” Axel says, leaning back on the couch, phone pressed to his ear. “They called it Little Reno and everything! Course, it’s already got a busted light that ain’t nobody’s bothered to fix, so everyone’s calling it ‘Little Eno.”
He hears Roxas snort on the other end of the line and it makes something so terribly warm bloom in Axel’s chest. He’s missed that sound, Roxas’ laughter. More often than sometimes, he’s wondered when he stopped making Roxas laugh. When their conversations turned to arguments, and when those arguments turned to cold silences.
It’s good to talk again now. To talk like they used to, catching up, gossiping a little, perhaps. Axel tells Roxas about the latest events in town, and Roxas tells Axel of his new job, his new friends. His new life. A life Axel wishes… wishes he were a part of. Wishes he had done things differently, wishes he hadn’t dug his heels so firmly into the mud that he got stuck, when Roxas so clearly wanted more than what their little town could offer him. Offer them.
“I miss you,” he says, lips moving before his brain can catch up. “E-everyone does, I mean!”
Roxas is silent, so Axel continues, stumbling clumsily through… whatever it is he’s trying to say. “You c-could come visit, you know! I mean, I know it’s about to be winter and you never really liked winter here. I don’t care for it much either - it’s gonna snow soon, and I always think about you- I mean how much you don’t like the snow… but there’s a lotta good people here who’d love to see you again-!” He’s rambling. He knows he’s rambling. He can’t stop. “I could even hang on to some of these things for you. Some sneakers or something, you know, when-if you visit-!”
“I could probably make the trip,” Roxas says, softly, yet it silences Axel immediately. “I wouldn’t mind seeing the old place.”
Silence, again. Something between them unsaid, yet so felt.
“You should visit too,” Roxas finally adds, sounding more hesitant now. “I mean, if you want. You don’t have to-“
“Yes!” Axel says, far too quickly. Far too loud. Yes for all the times and times and times he told Roxas no. For all the times Roxas held out his hand and Axel refused to take it. For all the times Axel stubbornly dug his heels in and ignored the way Roxas slipped and slipped and slipped from him.
He can hear Roxas’ sigh of relief, his anxious, held breath leaving him. Can hear the way he smiles, soft and warm like summer.
“Why don’t you hang on to my things, then?” Roxas asks. “I’ll get them when I visit. I can even bring that winter coat you were looking for.”

Familiarity
It was hard to pin point why, or how, the Wild hero felt so familiar to Link.
Yes, he knew that he was the one that came before him, thus he would have seen...something dedicated to him in his life but...this was different, like deja vu that followed his every step as he walked alongside the hero.
He really wanted to ask him something, but he didn't know the words or what order to put them in, all he knew was that the weight of that damn question hung on the tip of his tongue ever damn day. A part of him thinks he's meant to ask 'Why are you so familiar?'

Summoning ritual, not kidnapping /\ sowwy
Thanksgiving at the Fenton house was... Something. Danny did his best to avoid it, in short. It wasn't exactly Christmas; but it wasn't nice either.
Gotham was a good place for him to escape to, right? A flight there and back once Thanksgiving was over, no issue.
He didn't mean to get kidnapped by billionaires for an even weird Thanksgiving, okay Jazz?!
He'd just been out and about, doing nothing really, when this person came up to him and began to drag him by the ear, talking something about how "If I have to attend this, so do you!"
Being startled, he couldn't string the sentence he was looking for together and ended up being dragged to a---... Manor. Because of course it was. Rich people.
"So, how's everything?" A different black haired, blue eyed boy asked, eye bags heavier than Danny's.
"Oh! Actually, Jay, I left my shirt at your place when I got shot, any chance you brought it with?" The other black-haired, blue eyed guy asked, twirling his fork in his hand.
And he was looking at Danny.
Thank Ancients, the oldest person-- parent? He didn't know-- jumped in, sounding so tired, "Can we not talk about work at the table?" Then turned to Danny again, "And thank you for joining us this year, Jason."
"I had to drag him here!" The blonde who dragged him here Interrupted, "Why don't I get any thanks? Discrimination, Bruce. This is discrimination."
"I'd appreciate it very much if you didn't shout at the table, Miss Brown," The very oldest person said, placing a plate on the table.
Alright-- enough was enough, Danny needed to leave. This is weird, and he did not want to know why black-haired, blue-eyed guy #2 was shot either.
"Sorry, Alfred--" Blonde (Miss Brown?) said casually.
The sound of the door opening was as loud as a cannon to his ears, but to everyone else at the table, it was normal. Or they were expecting someone else that wasn't who they thought Danny to be.
"IM ONLY HERE FOR THE FOOD--" A voice shouted, "-AND NOTHING ELSE."
Black hair, blue eyes #3 came in, a white streak matching Danny's own in his hair.
All eyes turned to him. Fuck.
