★★½☆☆ 2.5/5 stars

When this first released, I saw someone on Reddit or Twitter refer to this as "troll music" and I still struggle to come up with a better descriptor for Psycho and Beautiful.

It's also hard to rate this one. The rest of it feels kinda... forgettable, besides the chorus with its mememememememememe bit. I know it's catchy and fun, but recalling the actual song is a challenge. Fun, but something about this just doesn't catch on with me.

I will say, though, that I am still frustrated with how M25 has handled this group-- a random 1+ year hiatus and their comeback is a "mini-album" that in reality is just a single album. All of this nonsense and on top of it, Love XX barely gets any sort of promotion or push. What's the point of managing a kpop group if you're not going to even try managing them? (If anything, I guess M25 can't handle memememememememememe. Please laugh.)

I enjoy CLASS:y a lot, I enjoy their discography overall, but what I don't enjoy is how M25 handles them. It should not have taken so long for CLASS:y to release anything, and I think that might affect how much I enjoy Psycho and Beautiful.

Nothing against Riwon and Boeun, but Seonyou has always been my favorite of the MTG babies. CLASS:y’s long hiatus is forgivable for me because I assume it let all of them get through their awkward stages in private and “re-debut” at a more normal (for 4th-gen idols) age. I’m ready for the Kim Seonyou era to begin!

something I feel like isn't nearly appreciated enough about mob's arc in mp100 is that his background is... Completely normal. I see a lot of people interpreting mob's parents as neglectful or distant based on the few scenes we've seen of them, which greatly baffles me because their few scenes aim to establish his family life as.. completely normative. They have the normal, average quips of a normal family. And I think it's very unique and refreshing because it means mob's troubles and internal hardship isn't a product of his upbringing, it's a byproduct of a traumatic experience and of his own personality and how it coalesces with his psychic powers. And I personally think more media should acknowledge that some people, even with perfectly normative and healthy familial dynamics and circumstances, will still develop very complex internal issues and personal psychology. and on the same note, some people with perfectly normal upbringing won't feel comfortable to confide in their parents and seek an external authority figure to look up to, which doesn't necessarily mean them and their parents are estranged. I dont think mob's (or ritsu's) life have to be unhappy to legitimize or explain the fact he has the personal struggles he does. Embracing normalcy is the main theme of this series.
