I think Lucifer would be so baffled by the blooming Michael-and-Cas dynamic.

For one, Lucifer has made it his BUSINESS to be terminal little brother to Michael and Michael’s never gotten that childish with him. And Cas can be a total asshole BUT he tends to be in-control when it comes to taunts, gray-rocking Lucifer… And obviously Michael’s kinda leaning into play-fighting here, or else he’d just kill Cas outright, so on some level Michael must be enjoying it.

Eventually Lucifer just shrugs and explains it away with, "they bring out the dumb jock in each other."

BONUS when Raphael is there: then they all three bring out the dumb jock in one another, and OFC Raphael gets too ROUGH, and Lucifer somehow becomes the responsible one like “hey dudes stop” and it’s just WEIRD and WRONG. Lucifer is NOT supposed to be that ever.

Fun Facts 991-1000

• The only reason Mammon passed the Angel’s trial (required to be allowed to work in the celestial palace) is because after many failed attempts not to lie the whole day he decided to stay silent the entire duration of the trial.

• Simeon threatened Michael that he’d never forgive him if he reprimanded Raphael for his mental breakdown (in which he trapped everyone in Babel)

• Several sorcerers in the sorcerer society have a crush on MC but immediately become dejected when spotting the brothers with them

• Solomon invented a device that could detect the level of a persons magic. MC’s power broke it.

• Barbatos once snuck MC to the past to collect some extinct flora he wanted for a recipe and almost ran into his past self.

• Beelzebub’s weight always breaks the stilettos when he tries to wear them

• Diavolo will without question eat food offered to him by strangers

• Mephistopheles has enough influence to stop a train in its tracks when he wants to board it.

• The Little D’s fear Simeon, especially after he reprimanded them for throwing around books.

• When accidentally landing on Lucifer, Solomon was more scared of being reprimanded by Diavolo than anything Lucifer might do to him

Satan being pretty unbothered by the whole situation but then immediately going attack dog (chihuahua) mode when MC is mentioned by Michael watered my crops and cleared my skin.

I also like that they noted that Raphael especially is after MC. Compared to the other Seraphim, we’ve seen that Raphael is way more attracted to us in both his Christmas card and Beach card, so it makes complete sense.

JOKE-OGRAPHY: 1. In this Bible story, Jesus is arrested by Jewish priests who've become jealous of Him. The priests aren't allowed to kill Him since they're technically living under Roman rule and Roman laws, so they hand Him over to the local governor, Pontius Pilate, and tell him that Jesus claimed to be the king of the Jews. This, they hope, will make Pilate think Jesus is trying to start a rebellion against the Romans. Pilate questions Jesus in a pretty simple but dramatic interrogation, beginning by asking Him if He's really a king, to which Jesus replies that His kingdom is not of this world; if it were, His servants would be fighting to free Him. 2. In this cartoon, the first part of the comic sticks to the Bible story, but when Jesus mentions His servants fighting for Him, Pilate tries to clarify by asking, "So you have no servants to fight for you?" But Jesus wasn't saying He doesn't have servants; He was saying they aren't going to fight a physical war to free Him because His kingdom is not a physical one, nor can any physical kingdom hope to threaten it. As Jesus implies this, His actual servants -- the angels -- pester Him to let them beat up Pontius Pilate for Him, but He tells them to calm down since that's not part of the plan. 3. Gabriel (the angel with the blue cape) says, "Pontius Pilate? More like, 'I'm gonna PUNCH THIS Pilate!" PONTIUS is often pronounced PUNCHIS (at least where I'm from), which sounds a little like PUNCH THIS, so Gabriel is just making a play on Pilate's name and saying he's about to clock him if Jesus gives the go-ahead. 4. Michael (the militant soldier angel in the red cape) gives a declaration that sounds a lot like Matthew 8:8. In that verse, a Roman centurion begs for Jesus's help, saying, "Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word, and my daughter shall be healed." In Mass, we mirror this quote before receiving the Eucharist, except that "roof" refers to the roof of our mouths, since we're about to consume the Eucharist, and instead of "my daughter," we say "my soul." In this cartoon, Michael mirrors the Mass version of the quote, but ends it with "and his soul shall be BROUGHT TO HEEL (i.e. forced to submit)."

Demon noble #1, after seeing the name on the RAD ID that was with the belongings another demon brought to him: The human you got these from... did you kill them?

Demon noble #2, confused but still amused with himself: No... we did fuck them up though. *they laugh, nudging their friends as they still ride their victory high*

Later that evening, they receive a call.

Demon noble #2's father: I heard you struck my son.

D2's father falls silent and ends the call before calling his son to him.

D2's father hits his son again: It's not what you did, son.... that angers me so. It's who you did it to.

D2: Who? That fucking human?

D2's father: That fucking human.... is MC, the master of the avatars of sin... and you have brought the wrath of heaven and hell upon us.

Did I just watch John Wick again? Yes, yes, I did. Did I use this scene from the movie as inspiration? Again, yes, yes, I did.
