ReactOS is intensively developing, and its codebase is steadily growing in size. On February 16, 2016, a new version of the operating system was released, and we thought it was a good occasion to run it through our static analyzer one more time. The new scan was done with PVS-Studio, version 6.02.

ReactOS

This is ReactOS. For those of you who probably don't know... ReactOS is an operating system being designed to be fully compatible with the NT-architecture used by Windows 2000 up to the current Windows 8. The goal of the ReactOS team is for their operating system to be fully compatible with Windows drivers and programs. I personally feel that Windows 8 crossed the line for me by drastically altering my desktop experience, so I am really rooting for ReactOS as it is open-source and can be fully customized right down to the code. Gamers have a reason to look out for ReactOS  too as it already has a VERY large compatibility database and works with a lot of Windows programs, drivers, and games OOB. All I need from you guys is just to pass this message on! Put Microsoft in their place! There are so many different distros of linux... imagine the possibilities if Windows were the same way? Get ReactOS out there and known, it needs all the help it can get. PASS IT ON!

Haiku OSやReact OSに少し触れつつも、開発途上で実用に向かないため

2011年前後にLinuxのディストリビューションにも手を出し始めました。

Ubuntuです、GNU/Linuxのディストリビューションの中では使いやすい方です。

いやliveCDでもっと前から触れてた記憶があった気がしますがいいとして、

で、大切なことと思ったのは、無線LANと動画再生。

家中のどこでもネット接続できて、Youtubeなどで動画が見られる、Windowsでは当たり前のこと、当時（2011年前後）Ubuntuでも不具合ありつつも使えたのです。

最新のOSの入ったパソコンが使えること、無線LANが使えること、Youtubeなどの動画サイトが見られることは人間には必須なことです。

使わない選択肢もあるだろうけど、それは使う選択肢があってこそです。

当時のUbuntuでもFlashでニコニコ動画などが見られたことはいい思い出。ただし、パソコンの性能のせいで動画がカクカクしてましたが。

とはいえ、それらの��は古いパソコンをいじってた時の話。メインのパソコンはWindows7だったのでした。

当時は7のサポートがあったのと、当時のUbuntuはホビーであり、メインに使う勇気など皆無だったので。買ったWindows用のソフトに決別も出来なかったし。

それが今や、GNU/LinuxのディストリビューションのUbuntuを日常使いで使うようになるんですから。GNU/LinuxディストリビューションのUbuntuがすごい使いやすいってのもありますが、何が起きるか分かりませんね。
