tales  of  the  crux's  both  noble  and  dangerous  deeds  were  never  far  from  the  tianquan's  ears  ,  reaching  her  with  a  swiftness  she  had  demanded  previously  from  her  messengers  .  there  were  whispers  of  her  intentions  floating  among  the  jade  chamber's  staff  at  one  point  ,  wondering  why  the  esteemed  captain  and  her  crew  would  have  such  high  priority  in  terms  of  information  …  whenever  boldly  asked  ,  ningguang's  simple  response  is  so  she  could  keep  track  of  their  debt  status'  and  any  kind  of  illegal  activity  .  plausible  enough  ,  quelling  the  rumors  enough  for  the  tianquan  to  comfortably  ignore  .  she  cares  not  for  the  opinions  of  others  on  her  own  personal  relationships  ,  though  …  could  it  be  said  that  she  missed  hearing  the  outlandish  theories  of  the  workers  ?  there's  a  small  part  of  the  tianquan  that  enjoyed  the  tittle  tattle  and  suspicion  .

it  seems  they're  two  sides  of  the  same  coin  after  all  ,  never  wanting  to  be  too  far  apart  .

among the sea and stars, beidou has always found comfort in the vast unknown, a strange hum of her thoughts come sights of still water yet undisturbed by the creatures she vows to slay. some tell tales of her ego, of a woman who craves nothing but the corpses of demons to add notches to an already extensive belt, while others parade her as a protector. liyue's watchdog she is not, but the captain still finds herself patroling liyue's borders. perhaps to gain the favor of a certain tianquan? how silly, of course not.

and yet. and yet...

her crew has heard every excuse imaginable, murmured like an afterthought or a sudden spurred idea as if the captain need provide a rhyme or reason for any charted course. the docks need her, cargo waits, letters to be delivered, anything: every rolling tide, sail, and even step, voyaged all the way to the jade chamber. beidou could voyage on a raft with nothing more than her heart to lead her back to the comfortable seat she's made of the esteemed ningguang's desk.

it should be expected, really, that this heavy silence be broken by word of her debts, of the tickets that she keeps scattered about her quarters like love letters from a sweetheart. yet another to be left unpaid, she murmurs to herself as it's stuffed haphazardly into the open window of her corset. she shouldn't have, because it opens an opportunity for ningguang to slither from her touch, escape the cage of her arms to retreat behind her desk leaving beidou to lean her weight on her palms pressed into the oak.

honestly it's hard to say. Most of the time I do believe that they are still together but that they want to keep their privacy and that's one of the reasons why they don't signal as much anymore.

Past reactions of them when the other's name was mentioned, don't give me the impression that they have broken up. And then there's the umbro shirt that H decided to wear twice, some other stuff that happened during the past few years and timelines that show that they do have lot's of opportunities to see each other. When I look at all of that I'm inclined to believe they're still together.

But nowadays it's impossible to say. They don't signal as much, if at all anymore and the only signs we get are probably only coincidences and nothing intentional. So I really don't know.

Most of all though, I just believe in true love and I've had the luck to see it in my own live too. It's possible and I think those two found that in each other. And that's the biggest part that makes me believe in them as a couple. Once you reached that part of your relationship with someone there is not much that can happen that could break you up, because then it's not "how do I get through this time" anymore but "how do we get through this".

Either way, I just want them to be happy and if they do decide they're happier apart then that's okay for me. It won't make Larry any less true and I'll still be here because I love their history but most of all I love their music and who they've become as an artist. And that's the main reason why I'm in this fandom.

Hey, so i want to ask about the ending of robot caleb x reader (big girls dont cry). First of all, it's an amazing story, a bit disturbing with its dark tones and yn's inner moral conflict (it's disturbing in a good way like the movie "Companion"). Through yn's pov, you managed to deliver that unsettling feeling, like this is wrong, fckd up even, but she keeps indulging herself in it. Like ok pop off literature queen.

Anyways, i wanna know what's your interpretation of the ending is?

Nonnie i am so so sorry for the late reply… 🥲 i was hesitating at first to answer cuz i wasnt sure whether or not i wanted to ‘undo’ the ambiguous ending if u will,.. but then i just kept on forgetting afterward lol 🥲 I still wanna maintain the ambivalence of the ending just bc i think its fun for yall to imagine how it goes in ur own ways— the opportunities are infinite. but i’ll tell u a VERY general rundown of how i picture bgdc carries on after the last scene:

Mc is unable to leave; not-Caleb keeps her tied down to him in her home- where she’s safe (at least for the moment)- while the real caleb slowly works to reintroduce himself into her life. Not-Caleb, while more morally “safe”, lets say, than his counterpart, becomes growingly worse with mc— more protective, possessive, and flat out frightening— as he realizes his time with y/n could possibly be drawing to a close- what with that psychopath hot on their tail. He does what he can to cut out the cameras and location-tracking devices in him- attempting to shut real-Caleb out as best as he possibly can without damaging his infrastructure. I even can see robo-caleb, after ‘cleaning’ his system, making the effort to relocate with mc to someplace safer before real-caleb comes, someplace hidden, someplace that doesnt exist, but that’s really not a clever or feasible idea all things considered— it’s a poor, last ditch effort made in sheer desperation to protect mc and keep her to himself.

In the end, what i see is ultimately the two calebs beefing it out in a physical confrontation. Not-caleb will do all he can to shield mc (while actively also trying to replace his original 👀), while real-caleb will do all he can to take mc. However that may look. However ugly.

Patataj is still running through Barovia, only making the soundest of decisions! For example he wanted to protect some werewolves from certain death after he helped them rebel so he agreed with Strahd's offer of giving him 10 whole favors. He was just too happy about the werewolves being okay.

Rahadin was angry, not so much because Patataj owes favors to Strahd, but because Patataj is clearly absolutely terrible about making deals. And what if something else asks for a bargain?

My tumblr username has had a couple different iterations over the years. When I first made my account it was a completely made up word that was hard to pronounce. A couple of years ago I got into a VR battle royale game called Population One, that I don't really play anymore, but I had to make an account and needed a username. Wanted something that was easy to say over a mic, but also had meaning for me. I landed on "GhostOracle." I really liked that name, and still do, and ended up switching to it in various places across the interwebs.

Ghost because stealth is my go to game play strategy, I have a bad habit of sneaking up on people irl, and in terms of folklore creatures, ghosts are also the ones I identify with the most. I've always had a strange fascination with death and the deceased, and the idea of haunting - that lingering memory even when you're gone - is just something I've always wanted? Yearned for? I've spent most of my life feeling invisible, overlooked, and largely unimpressionable, and I often feel like I struggle to connect with people even though that's literally the one thing I want to do lol. Most people seem to do it so much better than I can, and it's still something I struggle with to this day.

Oracle because I like the mythology tie in, and I'm very observant and have a long memory, which makes it easy for me to plan ahead, so "I see things." (Honestly, to the point that it might be considered kind of freaky. You might not remember where you put your car keys, but I probably do.)

I still use "GhostOracle" in some places but ended up changing it to "ghost of futures past" when I got into writing fan fiction. I didn't want anyone I knew irl to know I was writing so I changed my tumblr username to match ao3 since these are the places I solely participant in fandom lol 😅. So my current username was a play on words of my previous handle.

Fun fact: I recently found out there's a published book of the same name, and it's weirdly prophetic seeing as it was published in 2012... The same year I made my tumblr account... 👻👁

currently rewatching the pilot for a third time and i genuinely love everything about it. it has such an early 2000s romcom vibe except it actually features the butch/femme lesbian relationship of all our hopes and dreams!!!!!!!! and they are so precious!!!!!!!!!! and both the colors and the cinematography are gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!

The one main thing I just have to make her Reformed Mordrem minions to display the rest with the little visual diagrams, but I can post what I have done here so far <3 (this is actually the first time I've posted the updated state of this WIP since I last talked about it last year lskjfs. So sorry in advance if some of this seems janky as I haven't gone over it in a hot minute) Note: I also wanna redo the icon thing to be more of an eye instead of the lotus since it makes more sense literally and thematically and to just try to make it look better in general. For context my OC Mourynn/Vallotash (same person kinda) is Mordremoth's (parasitic) Scion in a weird imposter (syndrome) situation (leaving that bit out for now), and her whole thing was inspired by the ??? area in Jahai bluffs with the one quote that inspired her existence "Are you a dragon dreaming that it's a hero? If you were, how would you know?", where the area also matches her colours thematically too, and why her Mesmer abilities all revolve around hallucinations and tapping into the "Dragon of mind/plant, roots/madness, etc." where the spec also evolves slowly over time as she develops, but it does get amped up during LS1 with Scarlet being responsible for kickstarting it (as she brainwashed Mourynn to help cultivate the Dreamthistle into the Toxic Offshoots, and from there with HoT and so on as things got worse and this just evolved into it's own thing, haha). Super abridging explanations (and badly lol) since I feel that part with the Toxic Alliance and those spores were an important step towards this becoming what it is. Also I still need to decide on names for some things, but oh well ;w; ANYWAYS! Mourynn's custom Mesmer elite spec (WIP):

as for the story though, i'm glad the loss felt refreshing! :D i'm taking a number of battles as suggestions, rather than playing them strictly as per game rules, because i think it's just more interesting that way. i hope you'll enjoy seeing what else happens over time too! <3
