🌹Hi everyone!! I’m Bii and I just started my studyblr account! I hope that opening up this account will help me do better in the following school year I peaked in fourth grade and have never been super great in school! I also want to learn how to take better pictures for fun!

Summer Motivation Tag

So I honestly think it's good to keep some goals for the holidays now exams are over so I thought this would be awesome to also motivate others to motivate themselves!

1. Finally make a dent in Japanese

I've been wanting to do this for a while, I finally have free time

2. Become 3 star training by the end of summer

I do Army Cadets and we have a system of levels? I joined super late than recommended so it'd be cool if I could do more but in a short amount of time, since exams are over I can put more effort into this.

3. Keep revising for next year!

I'm on holiday! This is the most crucial time to keep training your brain! So I want to revise the subjects I want to do in Sixth Form

4. Not worry about August/results day

This is so important because I don't want to stress for 2/3 of my holidays over grades that'll affect one day of my holidays

I made a studyblr a while back to get hyped for school and it sort of fell apart once school actually started so here I am, trying again!

My name is Marisa (nice to meet you!)

I'm a senior in high school this year and 17

In order to keep all my scholarships I need to maintain a 3.8 but I made it a personal goal a while back to graduate with a 3.9

I started a journal at the beginning of the year and I want to write in it at least once a week

Use less than $5 worth of data a month

My username was inspired by @roboticsisforgirlstoo, who I found while I was creating mine. I decided to add girls at the beginning because I've seen first hand the lack of women in STEM, as I've been one of seven girls in my engineering classes (there's about 120 students total) and am one of six girls on my robotics team (about 30 students total). There's a lot of cultural things that have caused this and I've read and written a lot about it and will probably make a post on it in the future. I actually thought for a long time that I wanted to be an architect, and didn't want to consider engineering because it's "for men". Thankfully I changed my mind!

Hello everyone, I’m Solus! I’ve had enough of gazing longingly at the Studyblr community from afar, and today I’m finally ready to start my own blog. I’m hoping this will help me stay motivated throughout my last year of high school and beyond! Here are some fast facts about me:

Astronomy: I’m fond of natural science in general, but studying and exploring outer space is my career goal. (Every year, I’m willing to physically fight my Science Olympiad teammates for the astronomy event)

Writing: My favorite genre for both reading and writing is sci-fi/fantasy. This year I’m working on a senior portfolio for Scholastic Awards on top of writing all my college apps, so I’ll need to manage my time well.

Fandom: As much as I hate to admit it, I devote an embarrassing amount of my time to procrastination in the form of Internet fandoms. A few of my current interests: Star Wars, Transformers, Haikyuu!!, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, Elder Scrolls, and Overwatch.

Goals:

Short-term goals: To maintain As in all of my classes this year, avoid cramming for exams, win a Scholastic Award for my senior portfolio, get accepted into college, and sleep for at least 6 hours each night

Long-term goals: To complete a degree which allows me to enter an astronomy-related field, travel to each of the US national parks, publish a book, and take over the world

Why Studyblr?

It has been a longtime dream of mine to assert my complete and utter dominance over procrastination. With the powers of constructive peer pressure and better time management obtained from the Studyblr community, I believe I will be able to exact my vengeance upon procrastination at last. Procrastination, it’s time for you to DIE.

(I originally wanted to start a superhero-themed Studyblr fighting against the supervillain known as procrastination, but I procrastinated for so long that I no longer had time to draw anything for it. I also procrastinated on writing my college essays to make this intro post, so you can tell that I really need h̵ e͠ l p̵ )

Hi everyone! ✨ I’m new to the studyblr community so let me introduce myself!

My name is Teresa, I’m 19 years old and I live in the northern Italy, near Venice.

My mother tongue is, of course, Italian, so sorry in advance for any mistakes you may find in my blog!

I’m at my first year of University and I chose to study Robotics Engineering because it has always fascinated me and I’ve wanted to become an engineer since I was a kid, even though, here in Italy more than in other country, it is considered a course “for males only”. In fact, I’ve been told by most of my high school teachers that I was choosing the wrong course and that I should focus on different courses, courses “for females. They said I will regret my choice. I don’t think so.

That’s exactly why, when it came to choosing the name for the blog, I felt very strongly that “Robotics is for girls too” was just the perfect name for mine. 

Besides studying and making pretty notes I also love: hand lettering, wrapping presents, reading books, black coffee, tea, libraries, vegan food, homemade sushi, going to the gym, ice skating, shiba inus, watching TV series on Netflix and playing the piano.
