assemble is a 18-25 (sfw!!!) marvel inspired superhero rp. the plan for it is for it to take place over the entire world; there will be no set 'primary' location. villains, heros, vigilantes, and even civilians will all be important to the story! there will also be no 'main' plotline; everyone will have their own plotlines for their own characters; no one will be left out.

this server's goal is to be as extensive as the mcu. having multiple characters is HEAVILY encouraged. having characters with detailed backgrounds is also seriously recommended!

Random thought while struggling to find references for this fucking outfit THIS ACT 2/3 ACADEMY(?) UNIFORM IS FUGLY I'M GONNA SAY IT

The fuck is this mess. What is it. Why does it have like 5 layers. wtf is his tie tucked into. The color scheme. Vertical stripes. Tf are those weird strappy buckles for. What are the reflective bits. Is it a reflective vest. For all the forklifts driving around ofc. The only saving grace of this outfit is that it exists on Viktor's body and that elevates it from a 1/10 to a 2/10.

Is this specifically Viktor's wardrobe or is it an Academy uniform cuz it's a lot different from what he and Jayce wear in Act 1 (and they're not really involved with the academy in later acts iirc I guess but I'm in no logical state here)

Look at that. Comfy. Practical. Scholarly. A dress shirt and a thin vest. The kinda shit you can wear while hunched over at a desk for 15 hours straight. Easy to cosplay. Shit I wear this on the regular already.

Why'd they give him a goddamn sleeveless silver surfer ass parka later on. I hate the vest. Why it look like that. Is so fucking bulky. That shit looks heavy. My boy gonna melt in any decent summer. I worked up a sweat and a sore neck just looking at it. Spent 20 minutes trying to figure out the fucking act 2/3 fit for cosplay and drawing purposes and I'm like 90% sure he's wearing three separate tops not including the vest. Viktor if this is your own style and not like obligatory businesswear then this ain't it (you're still stunning ofc)

Now I understand this title implies that this post is going to be inconsistent, but...not really. I am making fun of the fact that all of the posts I've made (besides like one) so far have all featured drawings from different things, which I don't personally like all too much Anyways I discovered this stupid little spray paint game on Roblox (weird how I've mentioned this platform twice now but that's besides the point) that is...ACTUALLY KINDA GOOD???/ so I used that and made a few doodles here and there! (all TF2 related because I'm going bonkers)

Not much, but it's something. So I guess that's fine ! Quick rant... maybe I'm just thinking too much but I think the reason why people don't seem interested in my art isn't because it's bad, but just because it's like not unique? Y'know? I feel like with most other art styles there's something about them that you feel like you've never seen before, but with the stuff I make it doesn't feel that way. Again, could be overthinking (or maybe the fact that I have a very strange online presence) but I felt the need to say that..

Do you guys know how in movies, we sometimes see a strong character at the gym totally beating up a punching bag to get it all out of his system (and it often comes with a montage of flashbacks)?

He did it a lot in high school, always on Saturday mornings, to get everything from the week out of his system, whether it be a bad football game the night before or some Socs getting on his nerves but he can’t risk punching them. Even if it was a good week, he’d still go the gym. He’d just punch away until the wraps on his wrists started to tear.

He didn’t have much time to do it after their parents died…he tried.

He went the day after his parents’ funeral…he didn’t even realize he had broken past the wraps and his knuckles started to bleed until the gym owner (who knew Darry very well from his Saturday morning visits) noticed what was happening and stopped him.

He tried going a couple other times, on one of his days off of the week, and he tried ignoring how exhausted and sore his body was from work. But the gym owner, who didn’t want him to hurt himself, took notice and stopped him and sent him home both times.

He tried.

He eventually decided the gym was no longer a priority, he had so much he had to do, it was too much to add to the list of what was needed to get done back home.

Which is probably why he was annoyed and angry a lot, and as I’m typing this I’m realizing it’s probably why he hit Ponyboy….he was just so stressed and mad, he just felt like he needed to hit something. So he hit the closest thing to him…

I’m sure the boys figured something out post-canon where either Darry was able to go to the gym more, or they somehow bought a punching bag (or the gym owner was replacing a few and decided to give an old one to them), and Darry somehow hung it in his room (or some spare room), so he would be able to get some punches in while still being at home to do chores.
