SPOILERS FOR SESSION 2!!
…
Okay but the moment Tango started huffing and separated himself from the ranch house, watching his and Jimmy’s home burn to the ground, my imagination conjured an image (haha sike apparently I conjured a mini fic. why. how did this happen so quickly-????):
TangoTek, a blazeborn, usually has a pretty solid grip on his fire. He’s a very lighthearted Hermit, willing to joke and play around. His anger is quick to rise and quick to fade. Sure, occasionally his hair will spark when he’s especially passionate about a project, or his mouth and nose will puff smoke when he’s annoyed, but Tango very, very rarely emits full Flames when he’s around non-fireproof material. (Of course, his own base and the Nether is fair game. He’s not just going to suppress a vital part of his soul, after all.)
Tango has seen projects go wrong. He’s lost battles, been stung by betrayals, even mourned. Throughout it all, he refuses to let his flames touch the people he loves and their creations, because his friends are so important to him, regardless of the battlefield or the stakes. It’s all just a game in the end, after all…
Tango breathes. He tries to remind himself of that. He huffs, and he stares, and he hears Jimmy’s voice go in one ear and straight out the other. He hears the yelling and the laughing and the taunts and the communicators buzzing and the cows panicking. None of it matters right now. He backpedals, staring at the still-alight ruins that he and his soulmate once called home. He distances himself from the very much wooden structure.
Because Tango is fully ablaze. Full, roaring Flames burst from his core as he seethes. Scar has never had to worry about the unstoppable force that is a blazeborn’s Flames. Scar has gone unchecked, gallivanting around, trying to make Tango betray his soulmate. Scar burned their home to the ground.
Tango seethes, and rages, and burns. He lets Jimmy help him tame the Flames with a special horn and a calm, yet trembling smile. He pulls the Fire inwards until the last sparks are dancing in his hair. The Flames may appear as though they are gone, but Tango merely lets them burn brighter in his core, stoking them.
They’ll come in handy when he returns the pain a thousand fold for hurting his soulmate. And this time, the fire will never touch a hair on their heads.
Scar is going to pay.

Saturday Streaming Goals #2
Another episode, another Saturday Streaming Session!
Currently (8th Sept, 2018), Louis’ singles are at the following numbers:
Just Hold On - 352.753.478 Back to You - 347.535.172 Just Like You - 41.607.848 Miss You - 42.662.556
His total single streams are at: 784.559.054
His total streams, including all remixes, are at: 814.217.710
The goal for the next 24 hours is to add 500.000 streams to Louis’ songs overall, of which at least 440K are added to his singles (so no remixes) to push that subtotal to 785M!
Can you make that happen?!
There are loads of streaming parties being organised, so feel free to join whichever one you’d like! Hopefully all the streaming parties will be able to give the streaming numbers that extra push during the show itself, which airs from 8pm-9pm GMT.
A reminder on how to stream most efficiently:
1) Make a Spotify playlist (or use this one) that includes all of Louis’ songs. If you have Spotify Free, make sure your list is longer than 12 songs - you can add songs multiple times - so you won’t get random recommended songs added to your playlist.
2) Put your playlist on “repeat all” and “shuffle”.
3) Keep your sound on and enjoy all songs in full!
We’ll be back tomorrow with the results!

Really like that tango saw Martyn and ren and instantly ragged on them for being theater kids. Took one look at the two of them just standing around and went “I bet you two fucking idiots were roleplaying whatever shit you’re on now.” And like hit them w his hockey stick or whatever

“Hey Impulse.”
“Oh, hi Tango!”
Tango cast a look around for any hostile mobs, but it seemed not dark enough yet for them to spawn. He sat down next to Impulse, who had his feet in the small brook. The sun was setting, hazy through the world boarder but still pretty. Impulse silently handed him a chunk of dripstone block, which Tango took with a snort.
“Watching the sunset? Didn’t take you as the type,” Tango joked.
“Been down underground for like an hour, felt like I needed to touch grass,” Impulse replied.
“Mining with your gang? Or what?”
“I… no, I was alone for most of today… just making… getting ahead of it, preparing for what comes next, really,” Impulse said evasively.
“Oh, so a creeper farm, then,” Tango guessed.
Impulse chuckled. “Can’t get anything past you, can I?”
“Nope, not a thing. Why wasn’t your team helping you out?”
“Oh, I was just kind of… wanted to be alone, you know? Cramped quarters, what with Scott and Cleo and Pearl and BigB somewhat.”
Tango turned to look at Impulse. Something was different in his friend’s face, like he’d sucked on a bad bit of dripstone and was trying to play it off. “Cramped quarters? Seems unlike you,” he paused. “How is… your team? Cleo and Scott and all of them? Pearl’s died twice, hasn’t she? And she’s going red early again.”
“Pearl’s great,” Impulse replied immediately. “And BigB’s been really nice. I’m not… everyone’s great,” he wasn’t looking at Tango at all.
“Impulse, buddy. I’m not gonna tell-”
“How’s your alliance? Bdubs and Etho treating you well?” Impulse interrupted, rushing to get the words out.
“I…” Tango paused. He thought of the cold stone tower and single bed he was going back to later, the leering face of Bdubs as he told them to act selfishly, only care when it’s convenient.
“Tango?” Impulse had turned in too, putting a hand on Tango’s knee. His face was lined with worry. “Are you-”
“Imagine someone so flippant about betrayal that they just decide that everyone should act in their own interest all the time, then boss us around.” Tango laughed bitterly. “Not even pretending like he’s going to care about us- well, me, really, Etho’s his precious little… thing. I don’t have an allyship, I have a neighborhood where you never know when it’s all gonna be over.”
Impulse laughed. It sounded kind of hollow. “Cleo hates me. I know she does. And Scott follows her lead, they just give me these looks… I’m not… one of them. I keep thinking well if I just work hard enough, save Cleo from mobs, build a creeper farm, maybe they’ll like me and maybe I won’t feel like a damn ghost in my own alliance. I’m not part of their little divorce gang, I’m just… Impulse,” Impulse threw a block of dripstone into the water in a sudden burst of anger. “I- I’m sorry, Tango, it isn’t fair for me to just unload like this on you,” his whole body sagged.
Tango smiled. “I asked, man. I didn’t think I’d say what I said either. Sorry. I know you like Bdubs a lot. It’s just… scars run deep, you know?”
“Scars run deep,” Impulse echoed, looking off over Tango’s shoulder.
Tango turned too, saw Cleo in the distance. “Maybe it’ll all be okay, you know? Maybe this time it’ll be different,” Tango said.
Impulse stood up, helped Tango up too. “Scars run deep, Tango, like you said. Thanks for talking to me. But I have a creeper farm to finish.”
Smiling grimly, Impulse walked back into the forest. Tango considered going after him, finding out the location of the creeper farm, but decided against it. There was no reward for it. And besides, he had a cold and lonely base to get back to, swallowing down the darkness that threatened to overrun him every time he looked Bdubs in the eye.
