Founded another post that made me "uuuuh" cause, now they are saying Blitz and Stolas were "exploiting one another", and that, quote, "Plain and simple they both took advantage of each others vulnerabilities, but some shit Blitz did was purely to benefit himself while hurting or blatantly disrespecting Stolas as a person".

What are your toughs on this? Are they right? Idk why it doesnt completely convince me.

Perhaps this may be a bit of a journey, but walk with me as we understand the base argument and why it feels like it's a cop out.

When the show Friends can have a more conceptualized conversation about morality, we have issues. In an episode of Friends, Joey and Phoebe get into a bit of a fight where Phoebe insists that selfless actions are something we can partake in while Joey says that nothing is actually selfless at all.

(As an aside, this is such a hilariously well written scene and I hate Friends as a show. But the fact that the writers openly had Phoebe make her mother's suicide all about herself is comedy gold. And her sense of entitlement from strangers for her misfortune juxtaposed with her insisting that altruism is real all because she needs to make herself feel like a good person worthy of importance is great. One of the few times Friends has some actual smart writing.)

The point being, yes. There is no such thing as a purely good deed that isn't also done because we selfishly get something out of it. Offering food to someone who is hungry is only something you would do if you felt you could. If you needed that good as much as that person does, you wouldn't give them anything.

Or in the case of Phoebe, while it is a sacrifice to allow your body to be used for someone else to grow their family, you only do it because it in some way is desirable to you. Because of money or just for the attention and the social boost of other people admiring the "sacrifice" you have taken.

There is no true altruism. People do things for their own benefits. People protesting outside of Planned Parenthood do it because they feel like they will get recognition from their God or religious group. They don't actually care about other people's quality of life.

People who volunteer for nonprofits do it because they find satisfaction for themselves in the cause, or they do it to find a sense of community with like-minded people, or because they want to feel like they are better people than those who do not.

No one does anything they don't want to do. The whole point is to think about why they believe they want to do it. Everyone only does things because they have a genuine belief. The whole point is to try and understand people's actions from their own perspective.

So when we look at Blitz and him stealing the book and taking advantage of Stolas, it's pretty easy to see what could motivate Blitz.

I say COULD because the show itself doesn't really care to give the characters any actual depth or values or needs. So this is just evidence based on the show that could lend itself to deeper characterization if the show was more interested in telling a story.

But Blitz has extremely damaged self-esteem due to his father growing up and also the world building being designed around this hierarchy that Blitz was born into the bottom of. That has resulted in Blitz being born into a position of low social worth as well as his individual self-esteem being shredded by an abusive parent.

On that note, Cash Buckzo is a business owner in his own right with his circus. He works for himself and that is something uncommon in the world building as explicitly states in Harvest Moon. But it is in the field of entertainment. There is some evidence to show that the entertainment industry in Medrano's Hell is structurally identical to Earth, which requires understanding how entertainment has evolved in our society.

Travelling performers are often associated with persecuted minorities like the disabled and racial minorities throughout history. Circus owners have a bit of a reputation throughout history of being subpar human beings profiting off the labor and misfortune of others. From buying and selling literal children with disabilities and uncommon medical conditions to then prostituting out their stars to pocket the money for themselves. Historically speaking, circus owners are purely bottom feeders, and it appears that Cash Buckzo is based on that P. T. Barnum characterization.

So Cash is at the top of his game, while sucking out the life and talent of those he employs. Conversely Blitz is providing real opportunity and upward mobility in a way his father never did. Half of Blitz's whole personality is his business (or at least it was supposed to be) which is tied to his need to prove his father wrong. If he can also be a successful businessman, but more successful than Cash, Blitz believes that would fix his self-worth issues (hypothetically as this is only vaguely hinted at in the show and none of this is actually confirmed in any way. It's 1 part canon and 4 parts headcanon, this is just a generous translation of the mess that is the show to try and make these characters feel less like paper dolls and more like they have a story worth telling).

If it means having sex with someone he doesn't want to, Blitz can convince himself that it actually is something he'd want to do anyway. Because his need to prove himself as valuable is his motivation to tolerate the wealthy creep that is salivating all over him. In effect, yes Blitz would believe he wants to have sex with Stolas, but that is only because the alternative is not having a successful business and proving his father to have been right about him all along.

On another, deeper level, it could also be argued that Blitz loves his employees in a dysfunctional way because he doesn't have friends.

Look, this is kind of why I disagree with people that Ghostfuckers is even a decent episode because it's too contradictory. I'm supposed to believe that Blitz genuinely cares about Millie as a friend and sought her out for hire because he genuinely respects her. But at the same time he hasn't paid her or her husband in over a month, instead blowing their paychecks on owl dolls and horse printed plates because he's sad. The idea that Blitz and Millie are even remotely friends is laughable when you put in perspective how little Blitz respects her and Moxie.

I'm supposed to trust that she would know Blitz enough to be there for him and trust him during his demon possession, but he actively lies to her, never prioritizes her (unless it's to benefit himself), and blatantly disrespects her. It's almost like women in this show only exist to serve as tools to provide the male characters story and character opportunities and the writers' disinterest in them results in the male characters also being disinterested in them and so they also never get to benefit from said writing opportunities and they almost always come out as looking worse for it.

TL;DR: Blitz and Millie's relationship in canon is a joke and no one will ever convince me that these two characters are friends. Millie is just a tool by the writers to be or do whatever they need to try and pretend these characters have depth or humanity. Ghostfuckers may be the best episode of season 2, it is still completely incoherent and nonsensical.

Anyway, if the writers had actually done the whole found family/dysfunctional Boss storyline correctly, Blitz owes it to Moxie and Millie to also keep the book. So sleeping with Stolas is also an obligation for him on top of his narrative need to want the book.

So Blitz is coming at this from the perspective of doing whatever he has to do to get what he wants. That's not so much as taking advantage as much as it is seizing a perceived opportunity.

Meanwhile Stolas has been committed to a loveless and abusive marriage without ever considering leaving it until the opportunity presents itself in the form of an Imp with a much lower social class being apprehended in the act of committing a crime. And even then, instead of seeking to escape his abuse, he instead repeatedly cheats on his wife and subjects his daughter to repeated instances of violent arguments over his infidelity.

He believes he wants Blitz because....

Well, that's sort of the problem, isn't it? Because there is no real reason for Stolas to think he wants Blitz, in fact, the show makes it clear that he simply does want Blitz.

I asked fans a year or so ago why Stolas was in love with Blitz. As in what attracted Stolas to Blitz, and the overall consensus was that he enjoyed Blitz's sense of humor. Except the show outright contradicts that.

In the canon of the show, this is simply love at first sight for Stolas. Something that is not mutually shared, by the way. And Blitz explicitly states that he never once knew that Stolas had any feelings for him.

Unlike Blitz, Stolas has no reasoning other than to have ownership over Blitz. Not because of who Blitz is, but because he simply desires him, and did so since he was a child. As much as the writers think they made Stolas appear to see Blitz as an equal, all they have shown is that Stolas has always seen Blitz as something he can possess. Even as Blitz made it clear that he was not into it.

So while Blitz has reasons to participate in Stolas' game, Stolas as a character has always consistently removed any sense of agency from Blitz, as I pointed out in previous posts.

There is no mutual taking advantage of each other then. Stolas defined the relationship from the start based solely on his own vapid desire to claim Blitz as somehow his. Whereas Blitz allows himself to be used and taken advantage of because he believes it will get him what he wants.

And due to that, there is no reason for Blitz to have respect for Stolas. Stolas doesn't deserve respect as he doesn't give any to Blitz. And while many would say Blitz also doesn't deserve respect because he gives none to Stolas, that is true. But when most people assess that world building and how Blitz is the underdog in the dynamic fighting for his right to be respected in an unfair world, he was born into a role that no one respects. Meanwhile Stolas was born into literal nobility and reverence (as seen by how people treat Stolas in season 1, like him not needing a reservation into Ozzie's while Moxie had to plan a year in advance for his date with Millie).

Frankly speaking, Stolas was born into respect and lost it among his peers through his own mediocrity. And Blitz's lack of respect is based on systemic oppression, not even because of who Stolas is as a person. Blitz doesn't owe Stolas anything as the weaker individual in the dynamic. Blitz is literally punching up when he insults Stolas, which most sane human beings would recognize as not reflecting poorly on Blitz, but on society. All while he asserts agency by warping his own psyche to think this relationship with Stolas is one he actually wants because it fills his wants while distorting Blitz's needs.

Meanwhile Stolas can just say he wants something and can get it, as seen by the fact that the only reason Blitz is even a part of his life is because he said he wanted him and his father literally bought Blitz for Stolas' enjoyment. Stolas is as much if not more of a thief than Blitz by the fact that he steals Blitz's humanity through Stolas' status alone.

By the way, Blitz being terrible to Moxie and Millie does not magically mean he deserves what Stolas does to him. Stolas and his dehumanization of Blitz in no way plays into Blitz's own dysfunction as a person and how he lacks respect for his employees. It doesn't push Blitz to respect his subordinates more, nor do they ever actually work out their issues. Instead Millie is just there to validate the direction the writers are forcing the narrative to go.

TL;Dr: What wrongdoings Blitz commits to M&M will never justify what Stolas does to him.

why dont people like annabeth?

a common theme for athena stories is wisdom vs emotion, strategy vs ties, etc. and annabeth is subject to that theme as an athena kid.

she can be single minded, and do shitty friend things in pursuit of a plan- and it makes sense for her, because all demigod children inherit a little bit of their parents attitude (percy:rebellion,nico:grudges,butch:organic, etc.), but her greatest failures consistently come from emotion- NOT her fatal flaw, hubris. but she cares- a lot. she cries after leaving cerberus. she declares percy a friend after not a week of knowing him. she offers to sacrifice herself for his mother, because thats what matters most, isnt it? if annabeth cared a little less, she would have known luke was the lightning theif from the beginning. she was smart enough for it- but who wants to believe their longtime freind/crush/brother would do something bad? thats crushing. if she cared a little less, she never would have tolerated tyson long enough to trust him. she only compromised because percy cared about him.

if annabeth was some cold bitch, why would she have tackled the manticore? what strategic value is there in being kidnapped? that wasnt for her, it was for her friends. and then, she took the sky from luke. because he was in pain, and she's always had too big of a heart. its why she ran instead of just dealing with her father. rejection is just so much for a little kid. and of course she hoped for luke. hes the person who shes known the longest, who she depended on for years and years and who never once failed her. of course she hopes, and she tries to save him. he would've saved her, she thinks. but when he comes to persuade her, she still turns him away. she still chooses camp, even though they must be suspicious of her at this point- not only is she the traitors oldest friend, but she went and got "kidnapped" and was found at the enemies compound! people are bound to be suspicious of her.

and then, battle of the labyrinth- she gets her very first quest. a chance to understand what happened to make luke the way he is. a chance to prove herself in the eyes of her absent mother, and everyone else who wonders where her loyalties lay. and for the first time, luke fails her directly. he interferes with her quest and prepares to send her to a fighting ring for entertainment, and she barely gets away with her team. it turns out that they need a clear sighted mortal to navigate, so its not even really her glory. she learns luke plans to work with an ancient torturer. she loses percy, and she cries as she lights his shroud- she flips out when he comes back, because annabeth is not a girl who likes to feel vulnerable. she doesnt have the time. she grew up being constantly told her fears were illegitimate, and then she was on the run with two other minors. one of them died. she cant afford to be vulnerable. nonetheless, she takes a knife for an invulnerable man without a second thought. strategically, inadvisable. she just cared too much.

percy is taken. shes alone, again. and shes devastated- everyone in tlh is nervous to speak with her, because she just seems so worn out. sad, defeated. volatile.

she doesnt like to be caught vulnerable. its a little late for that though, so she wears tearstains like scars.

the whole reason she was pulled into tartarus? shock. she was too relieved to take in her surroundings, and she fell for it. begged percy to drop her, to leave her, and he refused. i think thats when their relationship really started to solidify for her, because she gave him an out and he. didnt take it. she wasnt left alone. and thats why the whole mark of athena quest was so hard for her, because throughout it she was completely and totally alone. abandoned as the catacombs she walked, seeing the lonely remains of those that came before her and meeting isolated priests. alone. lost.

and then bob showed up, and chose her and percy even after he regained his identity. damasen chose them, and fought against his own father for them. three times in a row, she was chosen.

i think the effect of tartarus on annabeth should be talked about more. it was Hell, and it was the home of 2/3 people who've ever chosen to fight for her. she was accepted, and she saw the ease with which another could do as the torturer of the hundred handed ones did. she drew a boundary, without experiencing the negative effects of avoiding it, for the first time in her life. in hell she was chosen, and in hell she finally drew a line in the fleshy sand saying: "i wont let you become this"

i bet she wishes she told luke. i bet that for a second, the briefest of seconds, she saw him in percy. i bet there was never anything as relieving as seeing him nod, hearing him agree to try another way. watching him choose the least brutal way to get around his situation. i bet she worries, each time she sends someone out, that there will be collateral damage- like how camp was a collateral, like how thalia was collateral. i think shes terrified. i think the pit soothed that in her.

What's Grace's dynamic with the rest of the cast? Does she get along with any of them? Does she have any memories of Lea? Have she and Shizuka tried to murder each-other?

ogh...Enabling my graceposting...

She is confident and assertive enough to insert herself into any social situation like she Belongs, and people tend to find her easy to talk to even if they also think she's overbearing and weird. So I think she WOULD get along with a lot of people (which gives tronny more reasons to hate her lol). Its all superficial though shes not actually interested in making real connections with any of them. I think if she can tell someone can see through her act she'll drop them pretty quickly (i think sergey and luke would be in this category, for example), but if someone actually attempted to befriend/include her she would probably play nice and string them along for a while, especially if it would give her an advantage against someone she hates.

So like with that in mind ^ she'd probably be fake friendly with, like, emilie and maybe some of the other first scholars. I don't know if theres anybody she'd actually have positive feelings for beyond "this person is entertaining". She might have fun dueling or beating up enemies with people though, i think she gets some genuine enjoyment out of playing crossworlds and being good at combat.

Weirdly she might get along with satoshi. Hed probably be psyched about her and ctron existing at the same time bc theyre 2 evotars of the same person, and would want to figure out what factors led to them being so (outwardly) wildly different, so she would be interesting to him as like, a research opportunity. She would not be offended by the casual dehumanization/being treated like a test subject--it would actually probably make her more comfortable--and would appreciate the opportunity to talk about herself at length. I dont think they would LIKE each other but they might be kind of on the same wavelength, somehow. Everyone else would be alarmed by this

She doesnt remember much about shizuka, but assuming shizuka knows who she is, grace might antagonize her a little bit for fun and/or play up the evil mastermind stuff around her. Not bc of some personal vendetta (shizuka is basically a stranger to her) but because she thinks its really funny that her existence bothers people as much as it does, and would probably relish a little bit in making people uncomfortable on purpose bc that way she maintains a sense of control over her own discomfort with herself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As for Lea though, well

I dont think she has any concrete memories of lea, just vague recognition. But i think being around lea would make her uneasy anyway bc there's just enough of an impression left to bring up feelings she does not want to process (guilt, regret)

once again putting under a read more; these are notes ive put down while riding home from work on the bus. here's pt 1 btw.

On the subject of THE HANGED MAN

something simon thinks about often is the sheer stagnance of vampirekind. vampires are a species that stay the same forever- they don't evolve or change; hell, the vampire kingdom is old school, even to simon.

simon is physically weaker than an average vampire- he suspects this is due to the radiation poisoning he suffered from before being turned. it takes him longer to heal and he doesn't have possess vampire strength the others of his kind have.

simon doesnt really mind this- he merely observes this fact. his body stayed the same way it was the morning betty bit him; the same way it was after her bite mutated and changed his body for the last time. plus, simon is a man of habit.

a thousand years of life with betty has made simon more open with her; they talk, like, about how they feel, how their relationship feels.

simon has grown quite philosophical and his field of study has expanded. being undead gives him this subconscious duty to put his eternal life to good use: the library. an ode to scholars and thinkers, adventurers and collectors. an ode to the humanity he left behind.

he always says sorry to the few humans he's ever directly fed from.

simon has only fallen to blood frenzy once.

simon's library is quite frankly, huge. you can't reach the books on half the shelves without flight or telekinesis.

current research focus is on procuring the ice crown. (he would be immune to its effects as a vampire)

simon refuses assistants and servants because they make him feel weird, despite the fact THE LOVERS could absolutely have them in their chambers.

simon loves his side job as a professor btw. he always gets so cheery and dorky when it's that time of the year for him to get his students.. and he loves history!! he definitely goes on old man rants about "his day" every now and then

being pregnant with morrigan made him wonder if perhaps there WAS a cure for vampirism after all. he'd entertained the thought every now and then despite the fact that everything he looked into claimed it couldn't happen. but if his body could still remember how to function like a human's, then it didn't seem so impossible to him.

On the subject of THE WORLD

a great strategist- but she misses traveling the world, researching and hunting for ancient artifacts with simon. this is not her dream.

cooking food was a love language and hobby for her. sux when you and your hubby can't eat food.

loves making morrigan snacks (they're a living vampire and can eat food!)

betty's whole thing is.. improvise. adapt. overcome. she keeps working hard so she can keep winning hard.

her fangs are VERY long. they always jut out of her mouth despite her best efforts, and she has to hide her mouth when incognito.

that makes it kinda hard to kiss simon but she's had a thousand years of practice!

due to the length of her fangs, her feeding bites are always fatal.

she is considered very beautiful. simon agrees

spends a lot of time out and about. she is also the vampire king's current advisor, so she spends a lot of time by his side. it's probably a good thing, and a better thing he trusts her. but she worries. she isn't as ruthless with the subject of conquest as others would like. sure, vampires are powerful, but taking over everything.. would upset the balance of life. they'd exhaust their resources.

she can be pretty scary. betty has learned to project an intimidating persona to keep up her role as battle strategist and advisor. it helps keep others off her back, too.

betty is in part so successful because she is constantly improving upon herself and adapting, she challenges vampirekind to change. it's just so hard for them to do.

betty adapts well to new settings. she finds it.. reasonably easy to settle into new situations, especially when human spying is involved. she just needs a feel for her surroundings.

betty can be ruthless, sure, especially when simon is involved in the danger. but she remembers her roots. she would never cause harm to a human that was not a threat.

she partially trained marceline to fight before the vampire king took over her training.

she's stressed. simon is her escape. she always gets to their chambers, throws her expensive and intricate robes off.. and embraces simon.

A deep dive into Solitaire, its Characters and Relationships

Solitaire is a deep, complex and entertaining book. Once opened, it becomes very hard to put down and it is the type of book you would read multiple times, listen to the audiobook version, and create a blog fully dedicated to. Solitaire has that kind of seasonal feel like when it snows for the first time and your feet are cold no matter how many blankets you put on or you’re nose keeps running because you’re outside waiting for someone to come pick you up and you’re putting your hands in fists because they might just freeze off. Solitaire isn't romanticized winter, it's the gross parts that make people hate the cold seasons but you still like them because it still has a nice feeling to it, even though it may be the end of you. Personally I have read solitaire in every season but Solitaire can't be beat in January, when everyone is stupid depressed and there isn't a point to living anymore.

Victoria (Tori) Spring portrays this deep depression and bitter feeling that everyone feels at some point and she is the embodiment of the term “pessimistic complex”. While being a relatable character to everyone, I've found that she really strikes a chord with the Asexual/Aromantic community. In recent events, it has become canon that she is Asexual and most suspect she is on the Aromantic spectrum which seems reasonable due to her behavior around one Micheal Holden. Micheal Holden, who is Tori’s friend and co-investigator in the Solitaire mystery, is (at first glance) an upbeat and strange character. Micheal holds the role of curious, and a bit mysterious and his and Tori’s friendship forms from the fact that they both got curious and did the exact same thing. In many ways, these two are very similar and when thrown together by some force, Tori ignores this and uses some freakish defense mechanism that (to anyone else) would drive away the opposing force, however, Micheal is not an opposing force, or any kind of force for that matter. He’s just a guy who happens to be a little strange and who ice skates and is secretly mad all the time. When Tori and Micheal first interact, Tori does not in any way want to talk to this guy, in fact i bet she would rather have thrown herself out the nearest window than exchange more than two sentences at once. Michel wants to be friends with Tori, so much so that he will not stop showing up out of nowhere even if he doesn't mean to. Keep in mind that Micheal has no friends and Tori has one friend and that isn't even going well.

Becky (who has been Tori’s best and only friend for quite a while) is popular. Not in the sense that everyone knows her, more so that everyone knows of her and a couple extending details, this leaves her feeling alone in the world and her only support is Tori, who frankly, is not doing well in the slightest. And of course they’re drifting, not quickly but over time, like a call that gets worse in audio quality over time. When Becky seeks support from Tori and wants to share things with her, Tori is disengaged, I'm sure she doesn't mean it but that still sucks when you’re the one who needs to talk. There are many versions of the book and in the first one when Becky tells Tori that she just had sex with her almost boyfriend. Tori is disappointed, she even goes on to say that it made her respect Becky more for being a virgin up until now. Now remember that the first addition of this book was released in the early 2010’s so it's a bit desensitized and there are probably better words to put it other than not respecting her as much anymore but it's still a good example of Tori’s distance and self isolation from the rest of her public life, which brings us back to her relatable self destructive tendencies.

When with Micheal, Tori continuously keeps him locked out of her life. When Micheal tells her that he wants to be friends, Tori goes on a tangent about how she doesnt know why he wants to be friends and says “i'm not some manically depressed psychopath” and they get into a fight that ends with michael saying “well maybe you are a manically depressed psychopath” and everyone ever is disappointed because Tori cant let people care about her. There's a point where Tori and Micheal finally accept each other as people and decide not to question one another, they both care and they both are okay with that, Micheal is there when Tori needs him and Tori is there when Micheal needs her, it's one of the most beautiful things and their friendship and care for eachother is deep and true and it's my favorite thing in the universe. When Tori is about to get killed by a firework, when she's literally standing on the edge of death, when she's sat at home after Charlie's relapse Micheal Holden is there. Micheals constant anger has noticeably taken a toll on him and he has said “i'm always angry, other emotions just overrule it” he means that Tori’s presence is the emotion that overrules, not in a cheesy love story way but in the way that when you’re having a bad day and then you go home to your bed and take an advil and drink some water, it makes you feel better. Tori is Micheals bed, Advil and water, no matter how cold the bed is, or how gross the Advil is or how unfiltered the water is. She’s still there, overriding the constantly lingering aggravation with himself. When Tori’s about to kill herself, Michael is there to save her, pull her back into reality and even though Tori isn't okay in the slightest afterwards, Micheal is still there, and they still care, even if the water is muddy.

In between the 4 month gap between Solitaire and Heartstopper, nothing is technically canon on what happens between them but 4 months later Micheal has proposed the idea that they confirm their relationship status as girlfriend and boyfriend and this scared Tori. Not because she doesn't like him in that way, but because she doesn't want him to get bored of her. Along with Tori’s asexuality being confirmed, it's also confirmed that Tori and Micheal had sex and Tori was sent a confirmation email for her ticket for the asexual train. Charlie and Tori’s conversation about this is very touching, Charlie brings up that he once said that if Nick never wanted to have sex with him, he wouldn't want to either and it wouldn't change how he felt about Nick in any way. This is an example of why Asexuals FLOCK to Alice Osemans writing, it focuses on the emotional connection between characters, not the sex and tension between them. Charlie reassures Tori that Micheal will understand and he most definitely will not get bored of her (considering that they canonically stay together for at least like 10 more years) Tori’s fear of a labeled relationship is an important factor within the idea that Tori is on the Aromantic spectrum, as an aromantic person, when a relationship that I’m in is labeled, it stresses me out. It creates this internal fear of commitment and that might be what Tori is experiencing. At the end of the page, Tori and Micheal are shown talking probably about her being asexual. My hopes are that Tori and Michaels relationship remains unlabeled because it's very important that different types of queer relationships are shown in mainstream media, especially ones that aren't labeled or inside queer norms. There's nothing like queer erasure from other queer people.

•and sylvia told angela to use the things she was already known for as her leverage. she already had a one up on a lot of em from that alone!! its what shes known for, so just play into it she might b growing faster than she should, but she’ll survive, angela calls it a sacrifice, maybe she believes it maybe its just to comfort her, she doesnt know anymore

•at first she uses her new found confidence just to get back at the people who used her for their own entertainment, used the boys who looked at her to elevate her status as something to “TRULY” see and not ignore and just labeled the girls whos bfs she stole as jealous over “someone as small as me”, maybe TBEY were the problem and thats y their bfs left em, not her!!!

“I can’t say that I mind the crowds too much.” — especially given how crowded the club could get some days.

Did he prefer the crowds and the limited space that came as a result of it? Of course not… but he wasn’t uncomfortable where he was now, either. Adriana helping herself to some of his personal space all but a given if the two were forced to share said limited space… so the most he gives in response to the unexpected brush of her thigh ( against his ) is a an amused breath as he brings his own glass up to his lips.

“But I can’t say that I mind leaving much either if it gets too rowdy. Or if you finish your drink before I do and decide… you wanna pull me out of here.” The corner of Roderick’s lips curve up as he watches Adrianna. “Or, if neither of those things strike your fancy, there’s nothing wrong with… giving me a reason to leave.”

raz dnd 18

parsley wakes up and is dumped by zen since zen is responsible lol. zen kneels down to try and help parsley up but he just wants to lay on the ground. parsley realizes hes in a library and just keeps laying there. zen tells him teya is researching the feywilds. teya learns that time passes differently in the feywilds.

back by wheatley hes still taking potshots on the range with senna watching. it does quite a bit of damage. fuckin lazers man. senna claps cause it looks cool. she notices its overheating and she calls out to him to cease firing so it wont explode lol. he giggles hes so happy lol.

back to parsley, he wants to go shopping! so he fucks off. zen tells teya to stay here and he goes after parsley. parsley goes up in the air trying to find his bearings. he doesnt notice anything xD he gets beamed by a lazer and zen yells at him to get down. anti air defense! big guns aiming at him lol. he quickly gets the fuck back down like wtf. zen says their for emergencies. parsley isnt registered so no flying. zen says he will escort him to the blacksmith.

senna and wheatley saw parsley get shot and hurry over there and meet up like wtf. wheatley heals parsley a bit. he says hes banned from flying and zen explains the guns. parsley says he needs new pants since it got wrecked. senna says they met a nice robot that made them some clothes. zen is taking parsley to the blacksmith first. senna points out wheatleys cool lazer gun to parsley, but zen says to not get too close cause its radioactive. wheatley freaks out and backs away.

zen reminds everyone they couldve used the tokens at anytime. it can do lots of stuff. map, lightsource, storage, shopping. senna tells wheatley he can store the lazer until its needed. thank god right? XD

wheatley tries to hold parsleys wrist and hes like "uhh no, im fine stop that." "worry is my default state of being." parsley keeps saying hes fine.

good ol smith! parsley wants a new dagger! he just gets an ordinary dagger no plus 1 for him. he then asked for a whip but smith doesnt really work with leather. check a leather worker! parsley changes his mind tho cause i dunno. as we go to leave smith says he misses his shop awwww. time to get teya!

teya however wandered off goddamn. now we have to go find her. shes getting surrounded by robots asking her stuff lol. their so excited to go back outside! teya is a little anxious getting mobbed like this. theyve never seen an organic like teya before! one of the robots notices teya is nervous and tells the other bots to back up. just in time we arrive to the rescue!

zen crosses his arms and scolds teya for leaving. she claims to have no memory of this. wheatley grabs her and says he was worried about her. zen gets the robots to leave. wheatley says they are just lonely. zen says android is waiting for us its time to go.

back to the soul jar! ANDROID GOT AN UPGRADE AND HES WEARING CLOTHES! he looks more like zen in structure now! less arms and smaller xD android says he took some steps moving forward awww. he says he doesnt like the clothes but only belts would look weird. wheatley agrees, clothes are weird xD he has a rapier and a pistol and rifle instead of just spawning weapons.

parsley is a dick and trying not to laugh. zen gives him a big hug awww. hes so proud of him. senna just says he looks nice. he thanks her??? holy shit. senna doesnt make a big deal out of it. sadly everyone else did lol. 'wow i didnt know you could say that.' senna sucker punches parsley in the shoulder. android calls him an idiot.

wheatley says goodbye to lil bro. SP also says goodbye awww. group hug for them awww. teya recalls to herself more fey facts that fey see other humanoids beneath them. entertaining but not equals.

zen sets down a portal and out we go! adventure! still by that temple and parsleys big pile of firewood. hes fucking taking the wood and putting it in the storage unit. wheatley says he thought parsley liked chopping firewood? he uh misunderstood lol.

wheatley holds sennas hand and wraps his tail around her. he just wants a pal :3 senna and teya message each other and teya is excited to sleep again :3 parsley suddenly notices wheatley is in a dress xD

as were walking we hear screaming! a small town and some bodies that got smashed! senna runs toward the screaming as parsley flies into the air to see what it is. parsley sees people running from giant...things. senna sees a giant iron golem chasing a dude. senna lobs some acid at it! hits! everyone is hurrying over to senna.

the acid begins to corrode it a bit and it turns toward senna, lumbering over. shes luring it over to the rest of the gang. parsley flies behind its head to slice it but its sword bounces off cause its METAL PARSLEY! wheatley casts branding smite!

wheatley shoots it with his pistol. the golem attacks parsley! (IT GOT A 31 WTF RAZ) parsley manages to block the attack with his shield but he still took a lot of damage and knocks him into the ground. parsley enters a rage and wild surges. a pixie appears by the golem and then parsley attacks with his handaxe. bounces off again. then the pixie explodes! senna uses spiritual weapon and summons a floating hammer and it crits! then acid splash again! teya curses it to wis save everyturn or he cant do anything.

wheatley again! heat metal! now the golem is glowing hot and its repairing itself since its melted. senna yells at wheatley for healing it. another golem shows up fucks sake. android shoots it and it lumbers toward him. good boy. zen trips it nice job. androids rapier floats in the air stabbing away. raz stop making them cool i cant NOT fuck them-

the golem were fighting failed his save so he does nothing. parsley drops his rage and tries to reduce the golem. it doesnt work its immune. another pixie appears and blows up. senna does acid again and the floating hammer force. teya vampiric touches it cause shes nuts. wheatley leaves cause parsley told him to find and rescue survivors.

oh no the golem succeeded. it fuckin sends teya flying back but her curse still sticks good. parsley casts fairyfire and the golem gets outlined with blue light and our attacks have advantage.

cutting to wheatley fast hes mostly finding smashed people. he starts running into intact buildings and yelling at people to flee. people are trapped! their afraid of wheatley though. he tries to calm them but their scared badly. they say the golems got turned against them? robots that look just like wheatley!? he keeps trying to get them to flee and then leaves. time for the next house! they all do the same thing.

senna yet again acids and hammers pog. a piece of the golem fell off nice. teya misses vampiric touch darn. then she casts hidden step sneaky. golem got loose again goddamn. smacks parsley to the ground again and he loses the fairyfire. then he smacks parsley again he broke his ribs! he chugs a potion and tries to distract the golem lol. senna lobs acid and hammers again. teya vampiric touches again and does big nice. the golem is slowing down. she hidden steps again.

golem once more cant move! parsley disengages and goes to find wheatley. senna misses the acid and hammer darn. teya also misses vampiric touch again. fuck the golem got loose and attacks senna. smacks her shield and impacts it fuck. second attack misses ha!

cutting to parsley he epically fails the invs roll while screaming for wheatley and coughing up blood. he starts going in buildings and trying to make people leave. he gives the guy a healing potion and leaves. they warn him of wheatley and parsley calls him an idiot and goes. he also drinks more potions.

back to the fight! senna lobs acid and hammers once again. it collapses again! senna immediately whips around to help zen and android! teya comes too! she misses lol. zen was astral punching it but he does look a bit beat up. the golem goes after teya lol. fuck that has to hurt but it misses the second attack.

android calls the golem a thoughtless metal can and tries to get its attention. he keeps shooting it. zen keeps punching but his attacks are low. senna once more acids and hammers pog. teya curses it pog! the golem breaks loose tho lol. its going for teya! teya is dropped to 1 holy shit her arm shouldnt be bent like that.

cutting to parsley he finds wheatley yay! wheatley looks exhausted lol and he goes to another building. parsley yells out to him and grabs him. wheatley hugs him that hurts xD parsley tells him to go back and help while he helps the people.

back to the fight! android missed every shot wtf. zen epic failed. senna healing words teya then hammers again. teya misses the vampire again then hidden steps lol. the golem goes for senna fuck. that hurts. missed the second attack again. android jumps on its back and shoots it in the head.

senna immediately begins healing teya again. wheatley just missed the fight lol. he goes about healing senna and she also heals herself. senna heals teya to full shes just sore. senna asks where parsley is. wheatley says robots that looked like him did this. senna messages teya to look after wheatley and senna goes to get parsley. wheatley tells teya the villagers tried to attack him so he cant ask for info. teya hugs him the poor guy.

parsley keeps doing what hes doing and trying to drag people out of their houses. not smart. they aint wanna go outside. parsley sighs and says he'll go with him he has experience fighting this kind of stuff. 'you think its gonna get bored and go away?' parsley is done with this guy lol. he finally agrees and leaves lol. as they exit senna runs over to parsley and tells him they did it. senna heals parsley a bit nice.

It takes a bit of ambition to pick up a book and follow through with reading it. She pushes herself to keep reading even when the book gets difficult or has over 200 pages. She wants to learn and grow, usually in more than one aspect of her life.

10. She's okay with being alone.

She loves being alone with a good book and doesnt like to be bothered once she is in the reading zone. A woman that can be alone makes a great partner because she wont be clingy or become co-dependent on you.

11. She's a critical thinker.

Its shown that people who read have stronger analytical skills. So, she will be a great person to talk to about tough decisions and life plans.

12. She can be entertained easily.

It wont take much to entertain her. Women who read can easily spend hours just sitting under a tree with a good book. You wont have to take her on expensive dates and luxury trips in order to impress her.

13. She's an amazing listener.

She is used to focusing on her stories, which doesnt require any talking at all. This will make her a good listener since she takes in information and processes it without responding while she reads her books.

14. She will inspire you to read.

If you arent a reader, you will probably be inspired to pick up a book if you are dating her. She will look so happy and inspired while reading that it will make you want to do the same.

How The Protocol Feels About Gekkos Little Buddies Headcanons

Astra: Absolutely adores every single one of them. No reservations with any of them. She loves being able spend time with them and get to know each of their personalities. She has a soft spot for Dizzy

Breach: Surprisingly he does seem to mind them most of the time. There is this thing where if dizzy gets too excited she sploots on people. Not to mention the same thing with Thrash accidentally detaining the others due to excitement. Between all of them he tottally adores little wingman.

Brimstone: Not to say he dislikes the cute little creatures but hes awkward around them. Given the fact theyre stolen kingdom property and I fully 100% believe the man grew up with out pets he doesn't know how to act with them. Not to mention the time wingman took his laptop hostage.

Chamber: He doesn't hate them, but her certainly doesn't like them much. Between Dizzy splooting on the agents in excitement and wingman being the little clepto guy he is and stealing his teleporter he isn't exactly fond of them.

Cypher: Oh how this man finds these creatures so interesting....but also a bit of a handful. Wingman once again being a clepto and trying to help thinks taking the mans hat is acceptable. Cypher although frustrated still in some ways finds this very endearing and will always be gentle with the little bird like creature.

Fade: Doesn't openly express ot a lot but she loves all of them. Dizzy seems to have wormed her way into the nightmare womans heart due to her general calm personality.

Harbor: Lord have mercy this man is an animal man and although there is nothing else like these little guys he enjoys playing, snuggling, and entertaining them. Hes taught wingman how to surf using his artifact you cant change my mind about that.

Jett: She absolutely adores every single one of them, but prefers they stay away from the kitchen and her knives. Dont want them to get hurt. She very much enjoys Mosh.

Kay/o: He doesnt seem to dislike or like them. Finding them to be interesting he always tends to be very observing of them. For some reason Thrash seems to very much like the robot, so he often gets detained due to her excitement of seeing him.

Killjoy: She thinks theyre adorable especially when wingman IS NOT RUNNING OFF with her tech. She near had a heart attack when the little guy was running around with one of her swamp grenades.

Neon: Like Kj she finds them quite adorable. Doesn't seem to have really any reservations with them....Well except Thrash, she adores her but the affectionate creature does detain her often.

Omen: He is....Hes anxious around them. Fear is too strong of a word, but they make him ancy.

Phoenix: He thinks the little guys are cool. Nothing against Dizzy but hes hesitant around her because she might just sploot on his jacket or shoes. Wingman is as he likes to say is his little homie.

Raze: Not a single ounce of reservation is in this womans body towards these cute cuddly creatures. After seeing wingmans cleptic tendencies she keeps a sharp eye on her satchels and grenades. The woman would beat herself up if something happened to them due to her explosives. She has quite the affection for Mosh and Wingman

Reyna: Isnt going to openly show it but adores these little guys. Dizzy is her favorite and it seems she to enjoys the empress company.

Sage: Oh heavens they are cute but they do cause quite a bit of trouble at times. Being the mom figure of the protocal she often hears the complaints about Wingman taking off with something. Thrash detaining someone, or dizzy splooting on someone or something. At the end of the day though they are cute and a great addition to the team!!

Skye: She adores them and her pack has play dates with them. Thrash and dog have a good tug of war. Dizzy and her bird love going on flights. The play dates are the best days.

Sova: Wingman makes this man feel sich an unbridled joy. All of them do but the little bird like creature just makes this man melt. To the point where he indulges his nad habits of running off with things.

Viper: She isnt much of an animal person. She doesnt dis like or hate them. It's more she doesn't really like cleaning up after them or having to worry about them getting into things they shouldn't. Out of all of them she does find mosh endearing but that could be because he isnt really able to get into anything like wingman. Also, she is Moshes favorite person. He absolutely just loves and adores the cold woman. Theres times where she simply allows him to sit off to the side in her lab and he does so watching her the whole time in awe.

Yoru: He thinks theyre all cute but isnt going to admit that. He has an image and reputation to uphold. Although Dizzy has splooted on his head a time or two so he is a tad wary of her because well he really doesnt want his hair messed up.

at the time of this blog,

shamura is sort of everyones rock. theyre the oldest, they know the most, they seem to always know what to say. theyre often busy and i feel the others would be concious of it, not wanting to bother them. i feel shamura is quiet and would love for their siblings to bother them about more things but they dont know how to go about asking or letting them know that they would like to spend more casual time with their siblings. theyre not good at expressing themselves or their own needs, but they are fiercely protective of their siblings and their needs and feel like they have to always be emotionally available to help out, but again, their siblings are worried about interrupting them when theyre busy

narinder is the cool older brother, not entirely mature, but someone who has live longer than you and knows everything thats fun/not fun. often likes to tease his younger siblings, especially leshy and kallamar. hes got a lot of spunk and energy and often messes around w his younger siblings to take it out. he doesnt always understand boundries until he crosses them, then he is very apologetic and feels a lot of guilt about it. similar to shamura, hes not good at expressing himself, but its moreso he doesn't have the proper words to describe what he's feeling, rather than an inability to bring up what he's feeling at all. he looks up to shamura, he often bickers w heket but they laugh it off immediately, he tries to coax kallamar out of his shell, he keeps leshy entertained. hes a bit frustrated that nobody seems to tell him anything when it matters, especially shamura

heket sort of picks up where narinder is lacking in the older sibling department, making herself the responsible one in shamura's presumed absence. she is stubborn and she's the one to keep the others (narinder included) from doing something stupid that could get them hurt (or in the case of shamura, remind them to take care of themselves, too). the responsibility feels heavy on her shoulders, but she keeps it up because she feels like this is what she has to do often. she has a lot of parties and festivals to try and ease things up for herself, but after theyre over, its right back to being strict. her brothers have a lot of fun, she feels, and part of her wants to have fun with them, but she worries they'll get into something disasterous if she lets her guard down and she doesnt want that to happen

kallamar is shy but passionate. he takes a bit of encouragement to get started talking but once he's talking he doesnt stop. he loves talking about his collections and cool stuff he finds and random facts about the ocean to his siblings. in turn he is a good listener when it comes to their interests, asking questions and engaging with them, even if he doesn't entirely understand what is going on. but he is riddled with anxiety. he overthinks often, worries his followers are talking bad about him behind his back, his power will not be strong enough, he wont be able to live up to his siblings, and if he is not good enough, does that mean he will die? he's silent about these fears, not wanting to bring the others' moods down and feel like an even further burden on them, but its just a glass bottle waiting to explode

leshy is very active, probably even more than narinder. what he does is completely at the whims of his ever-changing mind, he may relax in the dirt for a while or go on a rampage in a nearby village, he's very impulsive. he likes to cause a bit of "harmless" (to his siblings. mortals may not get the same treatment) chaos with pranks or sudden humorous remarks. hes just a lot of fun to be around. as the youngest, hes the furthest away from figuring himself out, and hes a bit insecure about it. everyone else has solid domains-- war, death, famine, pestilence. what chaos means isnt as clear. yes it has a definition, but that can represent itself in so many different ways. hes not keen on asking, because he feels, like the rest of his siblings, he should figure it out for himself. they would help him... if they knew he was struggling

tl;dr. lots of miscommunication in these bitches and its not gonna end well for them
