A young cashier asked why she had to check my ID for the super glue I was buying I asked

“do kids not sniff glue anymore?”

“Why would people smell glue”

“To get high”

At this point I felt as if I was giving her secret evil knowledge. The older man behind us in line chimed in with the same surprise. Neither of these people knew super glue could make you high. I took their surprise as a cue to keep talking

“It’s the fumes, that’s why you have to use it in a well ventilated area”

They both looked at me in shocked awe, adaptive audience.

“It’s not a very fun high, use this new knowledge for good”

I am sure these people are going to sniff some glue
