Percy Jackson and the Inexplicable Curse of Technology
We need to talk about how Percy Jackson is cursed when it comes to technology. I’m convinced it’s an unspoken side effect of being the son of Poseidon. Like, water and electricity don’t mix? Well, Percy and tech definitely don’t either.
He’s the kind of guy who tries to send a text and the app crashes. The moment he touches a computer, it blue screens. Even the camp’s celestial bronze laptops? Yeah, Percy’s somehow managed to short-circuit three of those. Chiron gave up on him ever learning how to check his email, and let’s not even mention the time he tried to Facetime Annabeth. It was like watching static for ten minutes before the phone completely died.
Annabeth’s always been the one who has to fix everything. She’ll sit there, watching Percy try to reboot his phone for the umpteenth time, giving him that look™—you know, the “I love you, but how are you this helpless” expression. Of course, Percy just laughs it off with, “Guess I’ve got that Poseidon charm.” Annabeth tries to stay annoyed, but she can’t help but smile when he’s being that cute.
And don’t even get me started on how dangerous it gets when Percy’s actually near water with his phone or laptop. Like, one time he brought his phone to the beach, and five minutes later it was toast. He swears he didn’t drop it in the ocean, but somehow, the sea still managed to fry it. Probably Poseidon’s way of telling him, “Stick to your strengths, kid. Like battling monsters. Not… texting.”
Let's be real tho—Percy probably doesn’t mind the tech struggle all that much. He’s the guy who’d rather be out exploring the ocean or goofing off with his friends at camp than stuck in front of a screen. And, really, as long as he can still get Iris messages and, you know, save the world, who needs a working laptop anyway?

Thalia watched how Nico got his whole divine family, including the step-mom that should hate him (like Hera's treatment towards her because of the cheating) and grand-mother (like what???),to the battle ; and then got to know how Percy convinced Poseidon to help the Gods fighting Typhoon, even with his kindgom and people in danger, knowing full well that Zeus will never do that for her.
Percy and Nico got their dads (and family) to fight for and with them, because even if they are sometimes shitty, they still care enough for their children to actually help them and being involved in their life. The only thing Zeus did for her was turning her into a tree (not even his own tree, because Pines are Poesidon's and not Zeus's) for a couple of years,to prevent her from dying.
Even her brother had the opportunity to fight with their dad in BoO,something that Thalia herself never had. And she probably feels bitter about it,because Poseidon and Hades care for their children, even after the oath was broken, but her dad was never there for her and barely did anything to help her.
(OG Little Three trio angst,yes-)

◟𖥻 percy's girl : percy jackson
▰▰ pairing: percy jackson x fem!reader
Percy would let the world burn if that assured him y/n's happiness. Everyone knows it, except y/n herself.
warnings: jealous n overprotective percy, slight mentions of violence i really don't know if it counts, oblivious reader, no cabin mentioned for reader.
part 2 here
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Everybody at camp halfblood knows by now not to mess with percy's girl— except, well, she isn't really percy's girl. At least not that she knew, but for everybody else? yes, she is his girl.
Hard to think about it in any other way when Percy walks around camp glaring at just anyone that even dares to look at her the wrong way. And when it comes to keeping her out of harm's way? He is practically a force of nature.
Percy doesn’t take y/n's happiness lightly, so anything that threatened that is handled by him without her even noticing.
She is probably the only person to come unharmed out of every Stoll prank, and it's definitely not for lack of trying. Connor and Travis like her enough not to pull anything dangerous, but that doesn’t mean they can let her get away without trying.
So everything was planned. A simple, classic, but effective bucket on the door. She only had to come out of her cabin for lunch and they would get her. Hiding in the bushes, Travis and Connor snicker once the door opens.
She is talking to Percy, that is walking behind her, but something makes him pause just when she steps exactly on the mark the Stolls had left. Percy clocks what is happening immediately, as if it was second nature, and he moves y/n out of the way just in time for the bucket to fall directly on him.
He ends up fully covered in chocolate syrup seconds later, but he couldn't care less. His only worry is— "you okay, sunshine?" he asks, wiping chocolate off his face.
She is, in fact, okay. But she's gaping at him, her eyes comically wide. "Oh my gods Percy, how did that happen?"
Oh he definitely knows how that happened, he can turn around right now and find the bush in which the Stoll brothers are hiding just by the sound of them snickering. He is going to kill them.
Still he shrugs. "I don't know, weird bucket placement." He replies casually. "Why don't you go ahead and wait for me in the pavillion? I'll take that bucket down."
"Weird things always seem to be happening around here, huh?" She raises her eyebrows, but happily obliged as she starts walking away.
Percy doesn't take the bucket down, he makes the Stoll brothers do it once he takes them out of their hiding. And the snickering doesn't last them much because as he's leaving, he glares at them. "You two better not try this bullshit with her again."
Listen, Connor and Travis are all about going against direct orders from everyone. But they don't try anything else after that, because Percy is scary when it comes to y/n and they are not about to end in the same position as that Ares son who had tried to flirt with her.
It had been after sword training, some Darren or Dane or something— Percy really did not care about his name, mostly because he was more occupied with glaring at him as he leaned a little bit too close to y/n.
He stood a few feet away from them, knowing that he couldn't intervene without y/n noticing but still fully preparing to do it just in case she got too uncomfortable. He knew her, she wouldn't say anything in fear of being rude. But Percy didn’t have that problem, he would gladly be rude if that meant keeping her safe.
So for now, he only stood with his back against a wall, pretending to sharpen riptide.
"You know, you should train with me sometime. I could teach you a few moves." He told her, smiling smuggly. Percy wished he could erase that smile right away.
And when she started hesitating, the son of Poseidon got ready to intervene. "um- I-" she stammered.
But Percy didn’t really have to do much, because as he was pushing himself off the wall, the Ares guy seemed to notice him, sharpening riptide and sending incredibly hard stares at his way.
Darren-Dane-whatever visibly gulped and took a step back. Percy smirked. Smart move.
As the boy excused himself and basically ran away, y/n blinked at him surprised before she turned to Percy. "Okay, that was weird."
Percy smiled innocently. "Right? so weird."
The next morning due to completely unrelated events, Darren-Dane-whatever ended up waking up in the lake, completely soaked without a single clue how he got there. Percy denied any relation to this weird incident.
Worst part about it all is that Percy swears people don't learn their lesson. While y/n is just walking around in her perfect sunny world, Percy is just following her, trying to maintain her world exactly as it is, free of assholes.
But gods dammit, those assholes don't make it easy for him.
When they're playing capture the flag, they end up on opposite teams and even though Percy is focused on getting that flag, he's also worried for her. He hasn't seen her around, but he knows she should be somewhere close because he has already seen some of her siblings running around.
It's only when he's close to the opposite team's flag that he finds her: she's supposed to be guarding the flag but she's crouched down near the lake, watching a butterfly that's perched on a flower, completely oblivious to the mayhem happening around her.
Percy stops abruptly, his heart racing at the sight. She looks completely at peace, lost in her own little world, the late afternoon sun tracing shadows on her face, it's like she belongs in a painting. So beautiful.
He's mesmerized for a second, flag completely forgotten. Then—
A blur of blue runs past him, pulling him out of trance. His mind barely registers one of his own teammates from cabin nine before the boy is already charging towards y/n at full speed, catching her completely off guard.
She rolls on the mud, almost falling into the lake and Percy is immediately running to her.
"Dude what are you doing? go take the flag!" His teammate yells at him, pinning y/n to the ground. Fuck the flag, Percy couldn't care less about it.
With almost too much strenght, he's pushing the boy out of her, sending him soaring through the air, an indignant yell before he lands with a splash right into the lake.
"Dude what the fuck? i'm on your team!" The Hephaestus boy yells as he clumsily stands on the lake, dripping wet and looking very displeased.
Without looking, Percy flicks his hand and a second later, a wave crashes into the boy's face. He doesn’t care about his protests, he's busy helping y/n up on her feet.
"Are you okay?" He asks, his hands cupping her face to make sure there's absolutely not one scratch on it.
She lets out a small cough, wipping mud from her face. "Yes? it's capture the flag, Perce. This is part of it."
He knows she's right, that doesn’t stop him from scoffing. "Yeah, well, what he did was unnecesary." They both look at the boy once again trying to stand up only to be met with another wave crashing against him.
This time, she realizes this is Percy's doing and gasps. "Percy!"
"What?" he shrugs innocently, wiping some dirt from her nose without any care for the other camper. "He looked like he needed some refreshing."
He ends up being dragged away by her, not that he puts any kind of restraint anyways.
Yes, maybe everyone at camp knows about him being just a little overprotective of her, but so what? he loves her— can't help it if he wants her to be happy and safe. The only one that doesn’t realize this is y/n herself, she's completely oblivious of his actions.
And she remains oblivious through it all; when she's thirsty after training and he's waiting for her with a water bottle, when she's hungry and he has her favorite snack ready, when campers are talking badly about her archery skills and with only one Percy-designated glare they immediately shut up before she can hear them, when he deliberately walks by the side closer to the magical borders just in case something dangerous happens.
It's always there, he's always there. And all it takes is overhearing a conversation for her to realize it.
She's outside of the Aphrodite cabin, waiting for Piper to go have dinner at the pavillion when she overhears some of the girls walking by.
"I mean, come on, Percy is literally the hottest guy at camp, don't you think?" one of them says, and she feels this bubbling jealousy in her chest— something she has never experienced before.
"Agree, but it's a little annoying that y/n is always around him." the other one adds. "I mean she's sweet but he probably finds her annoying how much she clings to him."
Her heart drops, is that what they think? is that what Percy thinks? that she's just this annoying girl clinging to Percy for everything?
Before she can overthink it, the first girl talks again. "I don't think he finds her annoying, he's like totally in love with her, obsessed even."
A third girl sighs dreamily. "Right? he's always so careful and protective with her, Dean from cabin five told me Percy was glaring at him for flirting with her, and the next day he casually woke up on the lake. Listen, he would totally let someone burn if she said she wanted to roast marshmallows."
A chorus of giggles follows, their voices dissipating as they walk away without even noticing y/n was there all along, trying to process their words.
Suddenly everything clicks in her mind. Every time that Percy seemed to just be there. Always at the right moment. Always with a solution to every single problem.
She's not dumb, she has known Percy was protective. But she always thought it was him just trying to be a good friend, surely he was the same with Grover or Annabeth? but now she was sure it was never the same.
Because neither of them has Percy following them around, treating them like they're the most precious thing in the word. That's only reserved for her, and it has taken her this long to understand it, realization crashing over her like one of those waves Percy used to almost waterboard the boy that almost hurt her during capture the flag.
Piper finally steps out of her cabin, apologizing with y/n for taking too long. But she's not even listening, she's already made up her mind.
Without even stopping to take some time to think it through, she turns around and ignores Piper's questions as she sprints towards his cabin.
She arrives just when he's stepping out of the front door, and she's running so fast that she can't stop herself in time before she crashes into him. Thankfully, Percy's senses are better than hers so he catches her by the waist before they both end up on the floor.
"Woah there." he says, and even through his confusion he still finds it in him to be concerned. "Did something happen, sunshine?"
He barely has any time to finish his question before she's grabbing his face and pulling him down to kiss him. He makes a startled noise, completely caught off guard because honestly that was the last thing he was expecting to happen. A couple of long seconds pass with him completely frozen but then— oh, then he's kissing her back, his hands finding her waist like they've always belonged there.
He can taste the strawberry chapstick he has always seen her put on, but the kiss also tastes like stolen glances and endless afternoons spent together, like a love that's always been there, just waiting to get noticed.
When she finally pulls back, too soon on Percy's opinion, he blinks at her. "Not that i'm complaining, but what was that for?"
Her heart is stammering against her chest as she offers him a small smile. "Some girl said you were in love with me?"
"Took you long enough to realize." he replies simply before pulling her close again, his lips finding hers as if this was something he had been born to do.
And she can feel it, in the kiss, in the way he holds her— Percy Jackson loves her. And the best part? She loves him too.

You were everything a daughter of Athena was expected to be.
Sharp-minded. Disciplined. Untouchable.
From the moment you stepped into Camp Half-Blood, eyes  followed you, not out of admiration, but respect laced  with fear. You were the kind of girl who could outsmart a son of Hermes in chess, shoot a bullseye blindfolded, and recite the Iliad in Ancient Greek just because someone said you couldn’t. People came to you with problems they couldn’t solve. Cabin Six called you their pride. Children asked for advices, girls from other cabins wanted you as their friend and as their ally in Capture the Flag.
You were born into legacy.
Not just the legacy of Olympus, but the sharp, gleaming, heavy weight of Athena’s name. Wisdom, logic, order. Your very existence was curated by divine intention. You weren’t an accident, or the result of fleeting desire like so many other demigods. No —Athena had chosen to bring you into the  world,  and that meant something.
You loved strategy, planning, puzzles. You loved the satisfaction of a well -constructed battle plan,  the thrill of  solving a prophecy no one else could make sense of. When there was a quest to be assigned, Chiron often consulted you first. Not because of favoritism, but because your insight had saved lives more times than anyone could count.
You were your mother’s pride.
Athena didn’t say it often, not in words.  But when she appeared to you in dreams or left offerings by your bedside,  you knew. You felt it in the way she would look at you , composed, proud, maybe even a little possessive. You weren’t just her daughter. You were her creation, the living embodiment of everything she valued.
So you never gave her a reason to doubt you. You never broke the rules. You never chased chaos, or love, or anything that could make your legacy fragile.
Not until Jungwon.
He wasn’t part of the plan.
You had read about Poseidon’s children, powerful,  unpredictable, ruled by instinct more than reason. And when Jungwon stumbled into camp, dripping wet, dazed, and wide-eyed after slaying a Minotaur with nothing but a broken blade and his bare hands, something in your gut twisted.
He didn’t look like a hero. He was clumsy, unfocused, always a little out of place among the well-trained campers.  But he had a quiet strength to him. He smiled like he didn’t care what anyone thought, and he moved through the world like it was his to claim, even when he  tripped over his  own feet.
You should’ve ignored him. You tried to ignore him.
Jungwon couldn’t strategize to save his life. He fell asleep in Chiron’s history lessons. He called Ares kids “mean jocks”  to their faces. He once asked if drachmas could buy snacks at the mortal mall.
You were the camp’s brightest mind. He was the camp’s biggest walking contradiction.
You were ice. He was waves.
And when he smiled at you, really smiled,  like he wasn’t  supposed to, your world tilted.
You didn’t like him.
You couldn’t like him.
But feelings have a way of creeping in, soft and slow, like tidewater kissing the shore. And before you knew it, his clumsiness wasn’t annoying. It was endearing. His dumb questions made you laugh. And his smile?
It stopped being dangerous.
It started being home.
͏ ͏ུུ̑̑ 🌊𓇼
Yang Jungwon wasn’t what anyone expected.
When he first stepped into Camp Half-Blood, the whispers followed him like a storm cloud. Son of Poseidon. The boy who killed the Minotaur. The one who could charm any creature, monster or god, with just a flash of that smile. He was supposed to be a legend in the making. But no one had warned you how annoying he’d be.
He wasn’t tall like the sons of Ares. Nor broad-shouldered like those of Hephaestus. But when he walked into the Big House with his hair wet from rain and eyes wide with curiosity, the air around him shifted.
There was something wild, untamed about him. Like the ocean, unpredictable and a little dangerous. He didn’t give the vibe of a camp hero, he didn’t try to. He strolled into camp with the same nonchalance as a guy picking up coffee on a lazy Sunday morning, and within minutes, he was the center of attention.
It wasn’t his looks, although those storm-colored eyes and those dimples on his cheeks were enough to make the unspoken rule about no romance feel like a joke. It was the way he didn’t care about anything. He had no reverence for the gods. No fear of the monsters. Not even an ounce of caution when he crashed headfirst into a pine tree during his first battle training session.
His lack of self-awareness made you want to strangle him and kiss him all at once.
“Do you always fight like that?” You’d asked, irritated beyond belief after watching him swing a sword around with all the grace of a toddler trying to hold a knife.
His sheepish grin had been all charm.
“Not really. But I do like to make things… interesting.”
And in that moment, with your brows furrowed in a mix of disbelief and growing interest, you knew it wasn’t just the Minotaur he had killed. He was dangerous in a way you hadn’t seen coming.
Not because of his powers or his lineage.
But because you couldn’t figure him out. And gods, that was the most infuriating thing of all.
͏ ͏ུུ̑̑ 🌊𓇼
You started getting closer after an almost-failed mission. It was supposed to be simple, in and out.
You were given the task of retrieving an ancient artifact hidden deep in the woods, a task normally reserved for the more level-headed demigods. Naturally, you had the strategy already mapped out. Every move, every potential threat, every path through the dense forest was accounted for in your mind.
And then he showed up.
“Hey! I’m here to help,” Jungwon called out as he came bounding up to you, his sword gleaming in the sunlight, only to trip over his own feet and nearly crash into a tree.
You sighed before even speaking.
“This isn’t a joke, Jungwon. Stay focused.”
His grin was unrepentant.
“I am focused!” He pulled himself up, dusting off his clothes. “Just… you know, having fun out here. Who said strategy can’t be a little bit of adventure?”
You narrowed your eyes at him, annoyance bubbling up.
“This is a mission, not a game.” You motioned ahead, where the shadows deepened in the trees. “We’re not just collecting souvenirs. We’re in danger.”
“Danger’s my middle name,” he said with a wink, slinging his sword over his shoulder with a nonchalance that made you grit your teeth.
You knew he wasn’t serious, but the way he treated everything like a joke, like nothing mattered, drove you insane. Everything had to matter. Especially here.
As you both ventured deeper into the woods, the atmosphere grew heavier. It wasn’t long before you heard the low growl, something large, lurking in the underbrush. You shot Jungwon a quick glance.
“Stay back. I’ll handle this.”
Before you could take a step forward, Jungwon was already charging at the beast. The wild, uncoordinated way he swung his sword almost sent you into a panic. The monster, a Chimera, its scales glittering black under the dim light, charged, its massive horns aiming right at him.
“Jungwon, no!” You shouted, trying to reach him in time.
But it was too late. Jungwon lunged forward, his sword missing the Chimera’s flank by inches as it swung its tail toward him, knocking him off balance. He fell, hard, straight into a pile of fallen branches, his sword clattering to the ground.
You froze for a second, but instinct took over. The Chimera roared and turned its fury on you, its fangs flashing.
You weren’t sure how you did it, maybe it was your strategic mind, the hours you spent reading Athena’s scrolls, or the training you’d put in, but in one fluid motion, you darted forward, dodging the beast’s attack and slashing at its underbelly. The Chimera screeched and staggered back, leaving it open for another strike.
You didn’t look back at Jungwon, but you knew his eyes were on you. The moment passed in a flash, the beast falling with a thud as you stood over it, breathing hard.
Silence followed.
“Not bad,” Jungwon called from behind you, a bit winded but amused. “I mean, I did most of the work, but—”
You whirled around, cutting him off with a glare.
“You almost got yourself killed, Jungwon! What the hell were you thinking charging in like that?”
He took a step forward, a teasing smile playing at his lips.
“I was thinking I could’ve handled it.” He dusted off his shirt, completely unbothered by the mess he was in.
“You can’t just charge in and hope for the best!” You were practically seething now. “This isn’t some game where you can rely on luck. You could’ve gotten us both killed!”
He stopped, his grin faltering slightly as he met your gaze. For a moment, you thought you might’ve seen something more in his eyes, something other than his usual teasing. But it was gone too fast for you to read.
“You’re right,” he said, tone shifting a little. “I messed up. But it was… kind of fun watching you work.”
Your breath hitched at the unexpected compliment. It was disarming. But you weren’t about to let him off that easily.
“Don’t make a habit of it,” you snapped, crossing your arms over your chest. “I’m not saving your ass again.”
His eyes softened just slightly.
“I wouldn’t want you to.”
And just like that, the air around you both seemed to change. It wasn’t the usual playful tension. This was something new, something you hadn’t expected. Something that made your heart skip a beat, and your mind race with thoughts you had no business entertaining.
“Let’s just finish the mission,” you muttered, turning on your heel to walk ahead.
Behind you, Jungwon chuckled, the sound rich and warm. “Sure. Lead the way, smartypants.”
͏ ͏ུུ̑̑ 🌊𓇼
It didn’t happen all at once. Love never does, not the kind that consumes you slowly, like a tide pulling you under before you even realize you’re drowning.
At first, it was just casual interaction. Reluctant partnership. Jungwon had been assigned to your combat team for a short mission, and you’d bristled at the idea. You still thought of him as the clumsy new kid with waterlogged shoes and a crooked grin who stumbled into Camp Half-Blood dragging the corpse of a Minotaur behind him. Powerful, sure, but chaotic. Undisciplined.
You were precise. He was impulsive.
You spoke in plans and formations; he spoke in jokes and instinct.
And yet… it worked.
He followed your lead, even when he didn’t understand it, because he trusted you. Not blindly, but with an openness that unnerved you at first. He never made you feel like you had to prove yourself. And despite how annoying he could be, how distractingly pretty his eyes looked in the sunlight, he listened when it mattered.
Over time, the mission ended, but the partnership didn’t.
Jungwon became a fixture in your life in ways you didn’t expect. You’d find him waiting for you after training, hair tousled, cheeks flushed, grinning like a fool. He’d bring you snacks you liked without you ever telling him. He never let you study in peace, always interrupting with some stupid joke or question, yet somehow, it became your favorite part of the day.
You started meeting him by the lake. At first, just to talk. He’d skim stones across the surface, and you’d tease him about his form, even though you secretly liked watching his arms move when he threw them. The conversations became deeper. The silences more comfortable. You shared things with him you never told anyone, about the pressure of being Athena’s daughter, the loneliness of being seen as perfect, the fear of disappointing someone who wasn’t even really there.
He never judged you.
Instead, he told you about the ocean, not just his powers, but how it made him feel. How it calmed him. How it made him homesick for something he never had. He told you how scared he was of being the son of Poseidon, not because of the power, but because he didn’t know if he could live up to the name.
You touched his hand one night, just for a second, and he didn’t let go.
The first time you kissed him, it was after a sparring match. You had him pinned to the ground, knees on either side of his hips, sweat running down both of your necks, breaths tangled. He looked up at you, his chest rising and falling fast.
And then he said, “You’re not going to let me up, are you?”
You didn’t know why you kissed him. You just did.
And he kissed you back like he’d been waiting for it since the day he met you.
From that point on, things changed.
You were still careful. You had to be. Camp had rules, strict, unspoken rules. No romantic entanglements between demigods. The gods watched. The camp leaders enforced. Love between two children of Olympus wasn’t just frowned upon. It was dangerous. It could tip the balance of power. Destabilize alliances. Invite disaster.
You both understood what was at stake.
So you didn’t walk too close in the daytime. You didn’t meet at the campfire. You never touched hands in public, and you definitely didn’t look at each other too long. You became experts in secrecy. A glance across the archery range. A coded phrase in training. A scribbled note hidden in a book.
But when the sun dipped below the horizon, when the camp fell silent and the stars came out, that was when you belonged to each other. He would sneak into your cabin through the window. You’d lie together, tangled under thin blankets, whispering about dreams and fears, about what it would be like if things were different. If the rule didn’t exist. If love wasn’t forbidden.
Sometimes he kissed you like you were fragile. Other times, like he couldn’t believe you were real. Either way, he always held you like you were the only thing keeping him grounded.
You didn’t realize how much you’d fallen for him until the thought of losing him made your chest ache in a way you’d never known. Not even the fear of disappointing Athena compared to the fear of being forced to let him go.
He felt the same.
You saw it in the way he looked at you when he thought you weren’t paying attention. Like the whole world narrowed to your presence. Like you were the only thing in the universe he’d fight for.
Now, a year later, the love between you was no longer something soft or budding. It was all-consuming. It was fire under your skin and salt in your lungs. It was dangerous.
And no one could know.
Not if you wanted to stay together. Not if you wanted to survive.
But every day, it got harder to pretend. Harder to keep your hands off him. Harder to lie to your friends. Harder to look your cabinmates in the eye and say you were still Athena’s perfect, logical daughter.
Because you weren’t just that anymore.
You were his.
And if the truth ever came out, you didn’t know what you’d do.

The camp was quiet, blanketed in the kind of silence that only came after curfew, when the cabins were dark, the training fields were still, and the stars felt just a little too close. You stood at the lake’s edge, barefoot in the cool grass, arms wrapped tightly around yourself. The moonlight shimmered across the surface like broken glass, glittering reflections catching in your tired eyes.
It was always the lake.
You didn’t come here just to think, you came to feel. The way the air hung heavy with mist. The way the water moved like it was alive. The way it reminded you of him, even when he wasn’t there.
But tonight, you weren’t just feeling.
You were unraveling.
You weren’t supposed to be like this. Not you, daughter of Athena. The one who had always followed the rules, who had always been told she was her mother’s pride, sharp, unshakable, destined for greatness.
You remembered what it felt like the first time you saw your mother in a dream. How her voice, cold and elegant, filled you with something like reverence and fear all at once. You remembered her saying, “You are my legacy. Don’t let me down.”
You’d lived by those words for years.
And now, every kiss you shared in secret with Jungwon, every whispered “I love you” spoken between cabin walls and stolen glances, chipped away at that legacy like cracks in marble.
“You okay?”
His voice, low and familiar, broke through the quiet like sunlight through storm clouds.
You didn’t turn around. You didn’t have to.
“I had a feeling you’d come,” you said softly, barely louder than the wind.
“I always do,” Jungwon replied, and a moment later, you felt his warmth behind you, his presence grounding. “I saw your bed empty and figured you were here again. Couldn’t sleep?”
You shook your head, still watching the water ripple under moonlight.
He didn’t press you. He never did. Instead, he stepped closer, standing beside you now, close enough that his arm brushed yours. He glanced at you, eyes soft, thoughtful, and then tilted his head slightly.
“You’ve got that look,” he murmured, half a smile on his lips. “The one where you’re about to tell me the world’s ending and it’s probably your fault.”
You let out a broken laugh, the sound small and tired.
“Maybe it is.”
Jungwon’s smile faded. He turned to face you fully.
“Hey. Don’t do that.”
You finally looked at him.
He was in his hoodie and sweats, damp hair curling over his forehead, eyes reflecting the lake like mirrors. There was something in his expression, something aching and wide open .and it undid you completely.
“I keep thinking about her,” you whispered. “About what she’d say if she knew. About what I’ve become.”
Jungwon blinked slowly.
“You mean… someone who feels too much and thinks too hard and loves too deeply?”
You swallowed, throat tight.
“I mean someone who disobeyed everything she was raised to believe. Someone who’s risking everything for something that might not even last.”
His brow furrowed, and then he stepped forward, cupping your face with both hands.
“Don’t say that,” he said, voice quiet but intense. “Don’t you dare say we won’t last.”
You closed your eyes.
“I want to believe that,” you said, your voice cracking. “But there are gods, Jungwon. Real ones. My mother watches everything. And if she finds out, if Chiron finds out — if anyone finds out — I don’t know what they’ll do.”
He didn’t flinch. Didn’t look away.
“I don’t care what they do,” he said. “They can throw me in Tartarus for all I care. I’d still choose you.”
Your heart stuttered in your chest.
“I don’t regret loving you,” you said, tears finally slipping free. “I just wish it didn’t feel like a crime.”
He pulled you into his arms like he was anchoring you to the earth.
“You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” he whispered into your hair. “You’re not a crime. You’re my choice.”
You clung to him, arms tightening around his waist as he rocked you gently, the lake lapping at the shore like it, too, felt the weight of your love.
For a long moment, the world faded. There was no camp. No prophecy. No gods.
Just two broken kids trying to build something out of the pieces they were given.
You pulled back slightly, your noses brushing, eyes wet and locked. He kissed your cheeks first, soft, reverent, like he was trying to erase your tears with his lips. Then your mouth. The kiss was slow, tender, almost shy. But it deepened quickly, desperation curling in every movement, a quiet ache that said, I need you. I need this. I need to feel like we’re still okay.
His hands tangled in your hair as your fingers slipped under the hem of his sweatshirt, touching the bare skin of his back. You kissed him like it might be the last time, even if you prayed it wasn’t.
When you finally broke apart, he rested his forehead against yours.
“I don’t know what the gods have planned,” he whispered. “But I’ll fight them. All of them. I’ll fight Olympus itself if I have to.”
You let out a soft, shaking breath.
“I don’t want a war,” you murmured.
“I don’t either,” he said, brushing his thumb across your cheek. “I just want you.”
And in that moment, with the stars watching, the lake shimmering, and his arms wrapped around you, you wanted to believe that was enough.
Maybe it had to be.
͏ ͏ུུ̑̑ 🌊𓇼
It began with waves.
Not soft or rhythmic, but slow, creeping things. Sludgy, dark. Pulling back and forth like something was breathing beneath them. You were standing on a desolate beach you didn’t recognize.
The sky was grey, sickly. The sand under your feet was coarse, colorless, almost like ash. Wind ripped through the air in sharp howls, but there was no sun, no moon. Just the shriek of gulls that never landed and the heavy, endless crash of water. You were barefoot, your clothes torn at the edges like you’d come from battle.
You turned, searching for something, anything familiar.
And then you saw him.
Jungwon.
He was standing at the edge of the water, barefoot like you, a few paces ahead. But something was wrong, his shoulders were hunched. His back was turned. And his hands were shackled in thick celestial bronze chains that trailed into the ocean, disappearing into the depths.
“Jungwon?”
Your voice barely carried in the wind. It was swallowed like it didn’t matter. You tried to run to him, but the sand was too deep. Too heavy. Like it didn’t want you to reach him.
Still, you pushed forward, breath stuttering in your chest.
“Jungwon, please—”
You were almost there, so close you could touch his shoulder, when the sky cracked open with a terrible, familiar voice.
“So this is what you’ve become.”
Your blood froze.
She stood at the top of the dunes, her armor glinting silver, her owl perched on her shoulder. Your mother, Athena. Radiant and cold. Her eyes glowing with power and disappointment. She descended the sand like a queen to her execution.
“All that I gave you. All the wisdom, the discipline. All the years I spent shaping your mind, your spirit. And you throw it away for this?”
She gestured to him, to Jungwon, still shackled, still silent, as if he were nothing but a stain on your honor.
“The son of the Sea. You let emotion cloud your wisdom.”
You shook your head, breath ragged.
“He’s not weak—he’s good, he’s kind—”
She was closer now, towering. Godlike. Her voice thundered across the sky.
“You think this is love. But love is foolish. Dangerous. Weak.”
Lightning struck the sand nearby, shattering it to glass. You stumbled back, hands raised, but she kept coming.
“You were supposed to be a warrior of thought. My legacy. My pride.”
“I am!” you cried, voice cracking. “I still am, I—!”
“No.”
She stopped before you, her expression carved in stone.
“You are no daughter of mine.”
The chains around Jungwon yanked suddenly, violently. He gasped, the first sound he’d made, as the ocean pulled him backward. His eyes found yours, wide and scared and betrayed.
“Y/N—!”
You sprinted, reaching for him, screaming his name, but your feet sank deeper, the shore crumbling beneath you. Your hand brushed his just as he disappeared beneath the water, swallowed whole.
“Jungwon!”
You collapsed where he’d stood. Salt stung your eyes. The waves receded.
And Athena?
She was gone.
Only the owl remained, circling overhead, shrieking and shrieking until—
You jolted awake.
Your scream caught in your throat. Your sheets were tangled, soaked with sweat. Moonlight poured through the cracks in your cabin walls, bathing everything in silver, but it didn’t soothe you. You were shaking.
You sat up slowly, pressing a hand to your heart. It was racing, too fast, too loud. Your mouth was dry. Your skin clammy. You felt like you’d drowned.
But the worst part wasn’t the fear.
It was the guilt.
Because even in a dream, even in your own subconscious, you hadn’t protected him. You’d stood still. You’d let her take everything.
You covered your face with both hands, trying to breathe through the rising panic. But the shame settled in your bones like frost.
You were Athena’s pride.
Until you weren’t.
And now… you were nothing but a girl caught between what she was born to be, and the boy she couldn’t stop loving.
͏ ͏ུུ̑̑ 🌊𓇼
You’d been quiet for days.
Not the kind of quiet that passes unnoticed, like skipping lunch or keeping your nose buried in a strategy scroll. This was the kind of quiet that carried weight. That pressed between you and Jungwon like a wall, invisible but suffocating. You could feel him watching you during practice. In the mess hall, at the stables. Always hovering just close enough to reach you, but never close enough to touch.
And it was killing you.
Because you missed him. Gods, you missed him like air. But every time you looked at him, all you could see was your mother’s face in that nightmare. Her eyes, the disappointment, the thunderous silence that followed.
You’d never known fear like that.
Not from monsters. Only from the thought of losing everything you were supposed to be.
So you started pulling back. Quietly, strategically.
You stopped meeting him behind the cabins after dinner. You skipped his favorite spot by the lake. You turned your back a little too fast when his hand brushed yours during training.
He noticed, of course he did.
You were halfway through sharpening your dagger after sparring when you felt his presence, steady, warm, uncertain , standing behind you.
You didn’t turn around.
“You’ve been avoiding me.”
His voice was careful, gentle. Like he was trying not to startle something fragile. He always spoke to you like this, with so much swetness and kindness and love, and it would always drive you crazy, the velvet sound of his voice.
You kept your eyes on the blade.
“I’ve been busy.”
“Y/N.”
Just your name, but something in his tone made you pause. You exhaled, sharp and shallow, and finally turned to face him.
Jungwon stood there in his armor, hair damp from training, cheeks still flushed from effort. He looked beautiful, he always did, his dark hair and his blue eyes staring directly at your soul. But he also looked tired. Not from battle, but from you.
“Did I do something wrong?”
The question landed like a knife.
Because no, he hadn’t done anything wrong. Not once. He’d only ever loved you. Gently. Openly. Like you were something worth choosing even when it hurt. He was perfect, he was the sweetest boy ever, the bravest warrior you'd ever known.
But you couldn’t say that.
So instead you lied.
“I just think we should cool off,” you said, forcing your voice to stay even. “Keep some distance. It’s getting too risky.”
He stared at you, like he couldn’t quite believe what he was hearing.
“So… you’re cutting me off.”
“It’s not like that—”
“Then what is it like?” he asked, stepping closer. His brows furrowed, confused. Hurt. “Because from where I’m standing, it feels like you don’t want this anymore.”
Your throat tightened.
“You know I do.”
“Do I?” he whispered.
You looked away, jaw clenched.
How could you explain it? The nightmare. The weight of being Athena’s daughter. The way your whole life had been a blueprint for greatness, and how one look from him, one stupid smile, could unravel every careful thread you’d ever laid down. The way that, even if you did love him, with a strength that was greater that the whole Olympus, your pride was always speaking for you, always taking you over. How you didn't want to lose him, but you also didn't want to lose the glory that being your mother's favorite brought to you.
“This… this thing between us,” you said slowly, “it’s not just reckless. It’s selfish.”
Jungwon just stood there, motionless, as if you'd just stabbed him right into his heart. He blinked, and you saw his beautiful ocean eyes glisten with tears he clearly was starting to hold.
“So love is selfish now?”
You winced, the ache on your chest growing by every second, by every word that came out of your mouth, that you didn't mean, but you had to say.
“I’m not ashamed of you,” you said quickly, before he could twist your words further. “I just… I can’t be weak, Jungwon. I can’t afford it. Not with who I am. Not with who she is.”
He was quiet for a long moment. And when he finally spoke, his voice was lower. Raw.
“Do you think I don’t know what’s at stake?” he asked. “You think I haven’t thought about it? Every day? Wondered when they’ll find out, when we’ll be punished, when you’ll leave me to save yourself?”
Your head snapped up. He knew, of course he knew.
“I’m trying to protect us,” you said, eyes stinging. “From them. From everything.”
“But who’s protecting me from you?”
The words knocked the breath from your lungs.
Because you had nothing. No defense. No brilliant answer.
“I wake up every morning wondering if you’re still mine,” he said, stepping back like it hurt to be near you. “And for days now, it’s felt like you’re not.”
Your lips parted, but no sound came out.
He shook his head, blinking too quickly. A single tear fell down his cheek, drowning in the deep dimple that appeared when he swallowed hard.
“I thought you were brave enough to fight for us. I thought… I thought I was more than a mistake you regret.”
“You’re not,” you said, stepping forward, hand reaching for his. “You’re not a mistake.”
But it was too late.
He had already taken a step back.
“Then why do I feel like one?”
And with that, he turned and walked away, his shoulders rigid, his fists clenched, the ocean in his blood rippling with heartbreak you couldn’t soothe. You didn’t stop him. You couldn’t.
Because the truth was… you didn’t know how to love him and live up to the legacy you were born to uphold.
And for the first time since you fell for him, you didn’t know which one would survive.
͏ ͏ུུ̑̑ 🌊𓇼
Jungwon sat on the edge of his bunk, arms resting on his knees, fingers twisted together in a way that made his knuckles pale. He hadn’t taken off his training gear. He hadn’t moved much at all. His sword leaned against the bedframe, untouched. The scent of sea salt still clung to him like a second skin, but it brought no comfort now.
He swallowed hard and pressed the heels of his hands into his eyes.
“I’m not ashamed of you.”
He replayed those words again and again, like they were supposed to soothe something. But they didn’t. Because if you weren't ashamed, then why did it feel like you were hiding him?
It wasn’t the secrecy that hurt. He could live in the shadows if he had to. For you, he would. But the way you looked at him lately, distant, careful, like you were trying to build walls again, that was what made his chest feel too tight to breathe.
“I can’t be weak, Jungwon.”
As if he was the weakness. As if loving him was a flaw you had to crush before it ruined you. He knew who you were. Athena’s daughter. The pride of Cabin Six. The girl with sharp eyes and a sharper mind, who carried the weight of her legacy on her shoulders like it was carved into her bones. You were beautiful, you could easily pass as an Aphrodite girl, the way your hair rested lazily over your shoulders, the way your smile made his knees week the first time you saw him, the way you whispered his name when he was making love to you, making him addicted to you.
So why did it feel like you were already forgetting what that meant?
Jungwon let out a shuddering breath and tilted his head back against the wall, blinking up at the rafters until the blur of tears broke the lines apart.
He hated this.
Not you — never you — but the helplessness. The way love could feel so big and still not be enough to fix things.
“I thought I was more than a mistake you regret.”
He hadn’t meant to say that. Not out loud. But once it slipped, it tasted true. And that terrified him. A tear rolled down the side of his face, catching on his jaw. He didn’t wipe it away.
He let it fall.
Because for the first time since meeting you, since killing the minotaur, since arriving at this camp and watching you from across the arena with his heart in his throat, he wasn’t sure where you two stood anymore.
He loved you. More than he’d ever said. More than he probably should. And gods, it hurt. It hurt that you were slipping through his fingers and he didn’t know how to stop it.
It hurt that he was starting to wonder if maybe love wasn’t enough.
And it hurt worst of all that even though he knew you were pulling away to protect you both, to survive the wrath of your mother, and the drowning rage of his father, part of him still felt like a boy on the shore, watching the tide steal everything he cared about.
So he curled his hands into fists, pressed them to his chest, and let the waves inside him crash, quietly, endlessly, for the girl who once swore she’d never let go.
͏ ͏ུུ̑̑ 🌊𓇼
“Nice form today, Y/N.”
You turned at the sound of Nicholas’ voice, heart already racing before you even saw his face.
Nicholas, Hermes cabin. All charm, all mischief. The kind of camper who never took anything seriously except getting under people’s skin. You hated how he always smiled like he knew more than he should. Like everything was a joke to him, and this time, you were the punchline.
He leaned on the railing beside the water barrel, tapping his fingers idly. You could feel his gaze scraping over you, too casual.
“You’ve been a little distracted lately,” he said. “Something on your mind? Or… someone?”
You straightened your spine, jaw tightening.
“Spit it out, Nicholas. Whatever game you’re playing, I’m not interested.”
He tilted his head, smirking.
“I saw you the other night. By the lake, with Poseidon's son, looked… intimate.”
A cold weight dropped into your stomach. Your throat dried instantly.
You said nothing, but your silence said too much.
Nicholas caught it, like a vulture spotting blood.
“I mean, hey,” he continued, mockingly light, “who hasn’t had a little rendezvous in this camp, right? But rules are rules. And Athena’s daughter, of all people—”
“Shut up,” you snapped, harsher than intended.
His grin widened.
“Oh, I’m not judging. I think it’s cute, actually. But others? Well… they might not be as forgiving if the truth comes out. Especially when the guy in question is the boy of the prophecy.” He tapped his temple and stepped back, smug and infuriatingly calm. “Just a friendly tip: secrets don’t stay secret for long around here.”
And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving his words to fester like poison in your mind.
You stood frozen in place, your breath shallow, eyes locked on the dirt beneath your boots as the weight of his insinuation wrapped around your chest like a vice.
And then, without thinking, you ran.
You didn’t stop until you reached your cabin.
Slamming the door behind you, you stood in the middle of the room, eyes wild, fists clenched, lungs desperate for air that didn’t seem to exist.
Everything was crashing down.
Everything you’d buried. Hidden. All the stolen kisses, the nights spent wrapped in his arms under the stars, the softest parts of you that only Jungwon had ever seen, all of it could be ripped away in an instant.
You couldn’t breathe.
You staggered back until you hit your desk, and then you were sliding to the floor, the sob escaping your lips before you could swallow it. It came out of nowhere, violent, raw.
You pressed a trembling hand to your mouth, trying to keep quiet. The daughter of Athena did not cry like this. Did not fall apart over a boy, no matter how good, no matter how kind, no matter how in love she was.
But it wasn’t just about him.
It was your pride. Your legacy. Everything your mother had molded you to be, sharp, brilliant, composed.
You were Athena’s pride.
The one who always knew the answer. The one who played by the rules. Who walked with her head high because she earned it.
And now?
Now you were a hypocrite. A traitor to your own name.
“I don’t know what to do,” you whispered into your knees, your voice cracked and desperate. “Gods, I don’t know what to do.”
You curled in on yourself on the floor, letting the panic crest and break over you like waves you couldn’t swim through.
What if someone told Chiron?
What if the gods already knew?
What if your mother — your mother — had already seen it in some cruel vision and was just waiting, disappointed, silent?
What if this love ruined everything?
And yet… you couldn’t let go of him.
Not when his voice still lingered in your ears. Not when your heart still beat his name with every breath.
“I love him,” you choked out, barely audible. “I love him, and I can’t stop.”
The cabin was silent except for your broken sobs.
You’d never felt so torn, between what you were expected to be, and what you wanted.
͏ ͏ུུ̑̑ 🌊𓇼
You didn’t knock.
Jungwon’s cabin door creaked open under your trembling hand, and the moment you stepped inside, he was already standing. Shirt loose, curls mussed from tossing and turning in bed. He hadn’t been sleeping. You could tell.
His eyes widened the second he saw your face.
“Y/N—?”
“We have a problem,” you blurted, stepping in and shutting the door a little too hard behind you. “A serious problem.”
Jungwon’s heart leapt.
“What happened? Are you okay?”
You started pacing.
“No. No, I’m not okay. I’m freaking out.”
“Talk to me,” he said gently, stepping forward, but your hands went up between you.
“Nicholas knows,” you said, breath shallow. “He saw us. By the lake. I don’t know what he saw exactly, but he knows something. He’s already smirking at me like he’s got dirt to use. And it’s only a matter of time before—before he tells someone or it slips or—gods, Jungwon, this can’t happen.”
He froze.
“You’re sure?”
“I felt it,” you said, eyes wide and panicked. “In the way he looked at me. Like he was holding something over me. And I—” You trailed off, your voice beginning to crack. “I’m scared. I’m scared, and I don’t know what to do, and I’ve worked so hard to be good. To be worthy. And now it all might fall apart because I couldn’t stay away from you.”
He flinched, like the words stung more than you intended.
You didn’t mean it like that. But gods, it felt like that, didn’t it?
You wrapped your arms around yourself, feeling the first wave of tears threaten your vision.
“You don’t understand, Jungwon. I’m Athena’s daughter. I’m supposed to be better. Controlled. Above feelings. I’m not supposed to break like this. Not for a boy. Not even—” You swallowed hard. “Not even for you.”
That landed somewhere deep in him.
Jungwon’s chest rose and fell sharply. His hands curled into fists at his sides, the candlelight flickering across the tense set of his jaw.
“So… what?” he said, voice quiet but edged. “You regret this?”
“No,” you snapped, stepping toward him before you could stop yourself. “No, I don’t regret you. I regret that loving you makes everything feel so dangerous. Like I’m walking on a tightrope every second of the day.”
His eyes flicked over your face, searching for something, maybe the part of you that still wanted to run. Maybe the part that still belonged to the version of you your mother had carved out.
“I didn’t mean to fall in love with you,” you whispered, like it hurt to say aloud. “But I did. And now I feel like I’m suffocating. Like every day I’m waiting for it all to collapse.”
Silence followed, taut and raw.
And then Jungwon stepped forward, slowly, deliberately, until he was standing so close you could feel the warmth of his body.
“You think I don’t know that?” he murmured, voice tight with emotion.
You blinked, breath catching in your throat.
“I know your pride matters,” he continued, softer now. “I know your mother matters. Your legacy. Everything you’ve worked for. But I’d give up everything I am if it meant I didn’t have to watch you look at me like this — like I’m something you have to hide.”
Tears slipped down your cheeks then, warm and silent.
“I’m not ashamed of you,” you said, voice cracking. “I’m ashamed of how much I need you.”
His breath hitched.
The air between you felt electric, your pain mingling with his until it became indistinguishable. A mess of fear and want and love, too much love, pressed tightly between your chests.
You didn’t think, couldn’t.
You just reached for him.
The kiss that followed wasn’t soft.
It was desperate.
Your mouth crashed into his with a kind of aching hunger, your hands sliding into his hair, gripping like you needed to collide yourself to him completely or drown. He gasped into you, a small sound of surprise that melted into something deeper when your lips opened beneath his. Jungwon's arms wrapped around your waist and pulled you flush against him. His kiss was fire, slow and steady and building, like it had been waiting, simmering, and now it couldn’t be stopped. But his addictive taste was the same as always, yours.
You pulled him closer, felt the hard lines of his body through the thin fabric of his shirt, felt the way his breath stuttered when you whispered his name into his mouth.
“Y/N…” he murmured between kisses, voice thick, full of too much.
You pressed your forehead against his, eyes shut tight.
“I can’t lose you,” you whispered.
“You won’t.”
Another kiss. Deeper. Slower. His lips traced yours with reverence now, hands trailing up your back, cupping your face as though you were breakable and holy all at once. You tugged him backward toward the bed, your fingers laced in his.
And he followed, every inch of him trembling with restraint, devotion, and a need that had been buried too long.
“I want to stay,” you whispered.
He looked at you like you were the most precious thing the gods had ever made, his ocean blue orbes glistening, maybe from tears he was holding back, maybe from love, maybe from need and lust.
“Then stay.”
And as you fell into his arms again, heart pounding and lips seeking his, you weren’t Athena’s daughter or the camp’s golden girl or the girl who always followed the rules.
You were just his.
Everything else faded the moment he kissed you again, slower this time. Deep, careful, like he was memorising the shape of you, the way your lips parted for him with such natural ease. Jungwon’s fingers grazed your jaw, tilting your chin up slightly as his mouth trailed to your cheek, then your neck. You gasped when his lips found the spot just beneath your ear - the place he knew made your knees weak - the sensation lighting something warm and dizzying in your stomach.
“I’ve missed this,” he murmured against your skin. “Every night. What it would feel like to have you under me again. Just… you. Mine.”
Your breathing was shaky, legs trembling where they were tangled with his. Tilting your head so you could give him more space, you let your hands trail around his body, above the clothes, shaky fingers in his perfectly built figure.
“Jungwon…”
He pulled back just enough to look you in the eyes. His expression had changed, darker, softer. Tender and commanding all at once. Not even with the lust taking over his whole body, the sweetness in the way he looked at you went away. And that's what got you even more worked up, what really got you about the way he touched and needed you.
“You’re shaking,” he whispered, brushing your hair from your face. “Tell me if it’s too much. We stop whenever you say.”
“I don’t want you to stop.” The words came out in a breath, trembling but true. “I’ve missed you too”
His throat bobbed as he swallowed, his chest heaving, like the need was too much, like the fear of losing you was too much.
“Okay,” he said softly, kissing your forehead. “Then let me take care of you.”
His touch grew more confident now, fingers skimming down your arms, your sides, slipping beneath the hem of your shirt like he’d dreamed of it a hundred times. His palms pressed to the skin of your ribs, and you squirmed under him, the touch sending a shiver through your whole body, every pore jumping like it knew you who you belonged to.
“Off,” he said gently, tugging your top. “Let me see you, my pretty girl.”
You nodded, heart pounding, and lifted your arms. He peeled the fabric away with reverence, like unveiling a secret. When his eyes met your bare skin, he let out a slow breath, even if he already saw you like this thousands of times, he always looked at you with the same glow in his blue eyes. You were left in your bra, and he didn't waste time before cupping your breasts with his hands, squeezing, never tough, just needy, like he couldn't believe you were his. A whimper left your mouth as you arched your back.
“Beautiful.” His voice was hoarse. “You always are, gods, I don’t think I’ll survive you.”
Your face burned, but he kissed the blush across your cheeks, your collarbone, your chest, like worship. Like you were sacred. He took his time undressing you, undoing each layer with soft kisses and careful hands, murmuring praise against your skin.
Once your pants dropped to the floor and you where left in your underwear, he bit his lip and hooked his fingers on the waistband, not pulling yet, just teasing himself and you. You were dripping, pooling wetness against the thin fabric, always so needy for him, for his touch.
Then he lowered his face, pressing soft kisses on your chest and abdomen.
“So pretty,” he whispered against your stomach. “So fucking perfect for me.”
And when he finally hovered above you, his hand cupped your cheek again.
“I want to make love to you,” he said, voice trembling now too. “Not just fuck you. Not tonight.”
Your eyes welled.
“Me too.”
He kissed you again, slower than before, hips pressing gently into yours. Every movement was deliberate, soft friction, just enough to make you ache, enough to make you reach for him. He was already hard beneath his pants, you felt him, familiar, thick, throbbing against you, and you rocked your hips too just to feel him more.
You felt his hand trail between your legs, until he reached under your panties, fingers slipping between your pussy folds with ease because he already knew every part of you. He watched you unravel beneath him, whispering your name as your breath hitched, soaking his digits with your wetness.
“You’re soaking, baby,” he murmured, eyes dark and full of want. “You want me this badly?”
“Please,” you whimpered. “I need you.”
He groaned softly and kissed your lips, your throat, your chest, until you were gasping and arching and begging. In one move he removed your bra, in the next second he slipped your panties out of you, throwing them on the floor. You were naked now, all for him.
“I’ve got you,” he whispered. “Gonna make you feel so good. Gonna make you fall apart on me.”
You didn't respond, you couldn't, because he grabbed your knees, strong but still gentle, spreading you just for him, blue eyes fixated in your dripping pussy, and then shoved two fingers inside of you. A soft moan left your plumped lips, your back arched again as he curled them inside of you just perfectly, as always, because he knew how much you liked it, and he groaned, thrusting them in and out of you with a slick, wet sound, until his knuckles disappeared between your tight walls.
"So perfect, so mine. Always"
“Gods, Jungwon—” you breathed, voice shaking.
He moved them expertly, fucking you with slow, deliberate thrusts, knuckles sinking deep as the slick sounds of your arousal filled the quiet of the room. His other hand stayed on your thigh, grounding you, while his mouth pressed against your stomach, your hip, your inner thigh, leaving kisses like promises.
“You take me so well, baby,” he murmured. “So tight, so perfect.”
Every word from him sent shivers down your spine. He wasn’t teasing, he wasn’t being cocky. He meant it. Every filthy, reverent word came from the deepest part of him, the part that only you got to see.
“Mine,” he whispered, curling his fingers again, right against that spot that made you cry out. “Always.”
You reached down, tangling your fingers in his hair, tugging gently. He looked up at you, pupils blown wide, cheeks flushed.
And then he leaned in again, pressing a kiss to the inside of your thigh, right where your skin was hottest, trembling, his breath brushing over your soaked folds before he pulled his fingers out with a slow, deliberate drag. You whimpered, your body instinctively following the loss. But before you could beg for more, he slipped his fingers into his mouth, sucking them clean with a soft groan, his eyes locked on yours the entire time.
“Can’t get enough of how you taste,” he said lowly, voice barely more than a rasp. “So sweet… always so fucking sweet.”
Your chest heaved, the air thick and heavy between you. Every touch, every word, every glance, it wasn’t just lust. It was something more dangerous. More consuming. More permanent.
He leaned back down, this time using both hands to spread you open, thumbs gliding over your folds, your clit swollen and throbbing with need. He looked reverent, like you were art, and he was both the sculptor and the worshiper.
“You’re shaking for me,” he whispered, his voice suddenly gentler again, one hand coming up to rest against your lower belly as he lowered his mouth.
Then his tongue flicked over your clit — just once — and your whole body jerked.
“Jungwon,” you gasped, fingers flying to his hair again.
“That’s it,” he murmured against you, tongue moving slowly, teasingly, just enough to make your hips buck. “This is how i love to see you.”
He licked you like he had all the time in the world, slow circles, open-mouthed kisses, soft sucks to your clit that made your thighs tremble around his head. Every now and then, he’d hum, sending vibrations through your whole core, and you could feel the smug curl of his lips when you gasped his name again and again.
You were already close. Too close.
“Please—” your voice cracked. “Please don’t stop.”
He didn’t. In fact, he doubled down, slipping one hand from your thigh and easing two fingers back inside you while his mouth never left your clit. The stretch was perfect. He knew your body too well, knew just how to angle them, curl them, fuck them into you until your body was arching and your moans were turning into broken sobs of pleasure, until you were leaking and dripping against his sheets.
“Feels good?” he whispered, voice soaked in heat and affection, eyes dark and heavy with love. “You gonna give it to me, baby?”
You nodded desperately, unable to form words.
“Do it,” he whispered, curling his fingers deep and sucking on your clit just right. “Be a good girl and come on my mouth.”
Your whole body tensed, then unraveled as you cried out his name, trembling under his touch, his mouth never leaving you as he worked you through every wave of it.
By the time you came down, your limbs were boneless, your heart pounding, tears slipping from your eyes, not from pain or fear, but from everything you felt all at once.
Jungwon crawled up your body slowly, tenderly, kissing your skin on the way. When he reached your lips, he hovered just a moment, brushing a thumb over your cheek.
“You okay?” he whispered.
"Perfect." You smiled softly, and he pressed a wet kiss in your mouth.
His kiss deepened, warm and slow, as if he was trying to memorize every inch of your mouth. You could still taste yourself on his tongue, but it didn’t matter, all that mattered was how close he was, how real he felt against you, how your body ached to be his completely.
When you tugged gently at his shirt, he sat up on his knees above you, pulling it over his head in one swift motion. The soft golden light from the lone lantern flickered against his skin, his toned chest rising and falling quickly, some scars still there from previous fights, lips parted, eyes dark. Beautiful. Yours. So, so yours.
Your fingers found his waistline next, fumbling with the buttons, breath catching as he leaned down and helped you, his forehead brushing yours with a quiet:
“I’ve got you.”
He pulled down his own pants, followed by his boxers, and he was bare in front of you. Your eyes glowed, his thick length against his lower belly, veins popping, needy, red tip, familiar and yours. A shiver went down your spine.
You whispered his name like a prayer, and he stilled for a moment, eyes searching yours.
“This time feels different,” he said softly. “Like… more.”
Your throat tightened.
“Because it is.”
You both knew it wasn’t the first time. There’d been late nights before, stolen hours where desire burned hot and fast, but this wasn’t just need. This was everything you were afraid to feel. Everything you were terrified to lose.
“I don’t want to hide it anymore,” you whispered, your voice trembling.
His hands cupped your face, thumbs brushing your cheeks.
“Then don’t"
You nodded, tears threatening again as he leaned down and kissed them away. Jungwon then grabbed his member, stroking himself a little, soft whimpers leaving his lips, before rubbing his swollen tip against your sensitive and dripping folds.
When he finally entered you, it was slow, so slow it made you cry out, your fingers digging into his shoulders. He stretched you so good, you could feel every vein, every inch of him against your clenched walls. He groaned against your neck, like the feel of you around him still overwhelmed him every single time.
“Gods, baby,” he whispered. “You feel like fucking heaven. Always so tight for me.”
You gasped as he bottomed out, your hips rising to meet him instinctively. He stilled there, his forehead pressed to yours again, letting you adjust. Letting you feel it, feel him, hot breath crashing with your face.
“You okay?” he asked, voice wrecked and low.
“Better than okay,” you whispered, brushing his hair back with shaking hands. “Please move.”
And he did.
He started thrusting gently, every motion slow and precise, like he was trying to make love to every part of your soul. His lips trailed across your jaw, down your neck, whispering praise between kisses.
“So good for me,” he murmured. “Taking me so well… like you were made for me.”
Your back arched, your body meeting his in perfect rhythm. It wasn’t fast. It wasn’t rushed. It was desperate in a different way, two people clinging to something they knew could shatter.
“Jungwon—” you breathed, your eyes locked on his.
He looked at you like you were divine. Like you were the most beautiful thing in every realm. He leaned down, his lips brushing yours.
“Tell me you’re mine,” he said, his voice breaking just a little. “Just for now. Even if we can’t be… just for now.”
“I’m yours,” you whispered back. “I’ve always been yours.”
The pace stuttered, his control slipping as he pressed his hips harder into you, chasing both your pleasure and his heartbreak. One of his hands found yours, fingers lacing together tightly. Anchored. Even fucking you like this, you could feel it, the deep love he felt for you, and that you felt for him. His thrusts were perfect, not too rough, but spot on, always, hitting places inside of you that made you clenche around his length even tighter and cry out his name, nails digging deep in his skin, but he didn't care, he just moaned in response, hips bucking against yours creating an obscene sound that sounded so romantic for you both.
The coil inside you start to wind again, tighter, sharper, deeper this time. Your breaths came quicker, your moans soft and shaky as his other hand reached down between you, rubbing your clit in perfect circles.
“I’ve got you,” he whispered, his voice strained. “Gonna come with me, baby? Let go for me?”
You cried out, clinging to him like he was the only thing left in the world, and when you fell apart this time, it wasn’t just your body, it was everything. Your heart, your pride, your fears, all unraveling in his arms. Your pussy clenched around him as the orgasm hit you, eyes shut and body trembling, shaking under him with so much force.
He followed with a broken groan, burying himself deep inside you as he came, spilling everything he had into you with a desperate whisper of your name, filling you so good and familiar, so warm.
After that, neither of you moved. The room was silent except for your ragged breathing, your trembling limbs tangled together in the quiet aftermath.
Then Jungwon leaned down, brushing his lips over your forehead.
“I love you,” he whispered. “No matter what the gods say. No matter what we have to face.”
You didn’t answer, you just held him tighter, tears silently slipping down your cheeks.
The candle burned low. Only the faint flicker of flame lit the cabin now, warm shadows on the walls and in the curve of Jungwon’s jaw. He laid on his side, propped up on one elbow, watching you like you were the only thing left in the world worth looking at.
You were still lying beside him, tangled in the same blanket, your fingers absentmindedly tracing the constellation of tiny scars on his shoulder. The silence between you was comfortable… but it wasn’t light. It was heavy with the weight of everything you couldn’t keep ignoring.
You swallowed.
“Jungwon?” you whispered, not looking up.
“Hm?”
“I’ve been thinking.”
He waited, gaze fixed on you.
You inhaled slowly.
“About… everything. My mom. The rules. Camp. This—us.”
You finally lifted your eyes, and he sat up a little straighter at the expression on your face, not sad, not angry… just raw. Exposed. Real.
“All my life,” you started, voice steady despite the ache in your chest, “I’ve been told that pride is the root of wisdom. That it’s what separates us from chaos. From weakness. My mother always said I was her greatest creation — her ‘perfect daughter.’ I grew up thinking that meant I couldn’t make mistakes. That I had to be the best. Always.”
Jungwon didn’t speak. He only listened, his thumb brushing slow circles over your wrist.
“And for a long time, I thought love would ruin me,” you said. “Make me weak. I thought being with you — loving you — would destroy everything I worked for. Everything she was proud of.”
You sat up now too, holding the blanket against your chest, your eyes shining in the dark.
“But that was a lie,” you whispered. “A lie I let myself believe because I was scared. Because I thought if I chose you, I’d stop being who I was. But now I know… loving you hasn’t made me weak. It’s made me stronger.”
He let out a soft, shaky breath, like he’d been holding it the whole time.
“I don’t care if I disappoint her anymore,” you went on. “I don’t care if it makes me less of what she wanted. I want to be with you. Fully. No more secrets. No more shame.”
Jungwon reached for you immediately, pulling you into his lap, your arms wrapping around his neck. His heart was pounding hard against your ribs, and his hands were holding you like he was afraid you’d vanish.
“I don’t deserve you,” he said, voice low and cracked with emotion.
“You have me,” you said firmly. “You always have.”
He pulled back just far enough to look at you, and his expression was nothing short of awe.
“Then let’s run,” he said suddenly, breathless. “Let’s run away.”
You blinked, stunned.
“Run?”
He nodded, eyes wild and full of wonder.
“Not forever. Just… for now. Just us. Away from the rules and the gods and the war they want to throw us into. We’ll find a place by the sea, somewhere no one knows us. And we’ll just be.”
You searched his face, your lips parting with the storm of feelings surging in your chest.
“Can we do that?” you asked softly, like a child asking for a dream.
“We can do anything,” he said. “As long as you’re with me. I’ll fight fate. I’ll fight Olympus. I’ll fight my own prophecy if I have to.”
Tears welled in your eyes again, but they weren’t from fear this time. They were from the sheer, overwhelming gravity of his love.
You leaned in and kissed him, slow, deep, aching, like a vow.
And when you pulled away, your voice was no longer scared
“Then let’s run.”
You knew it then, it didn't matter anymore. You would fight the whole Olympus, your own mother, even yourself, for the clumsy boy that one came to camp without knowing how to swing a sword, for the boy who stole your heart with those dimples and soft voice, for the boy who belonged not only to the salt and sea, but to you.
as always, thank u so much for reading, this one took me a lot of time because i was so blocked, but got through it. i didn’t proofread so sorry for the mistakes <3

I like naps with Percy, that might be my one personality trait now. p.jackson x reader
It happened again.
You weren’t even surprised at this point.
No matter how many times you told yourself you’d sleep in your own cabin, maybe curl up under a tree, or even find a spot by the lake, you always, always ended up right back here—buried in soft sheets that still carried his warmth, wrapped in the scent of sea salt and summer storms.
Poseidon hadn’t banned you from Cabin Three yet, which was nothing short of divine intervention. You were convinced the god had to know by now, had to have looked down at least once to find you curled up in his son’s bed like you belonged there. Maybe he was entertained. Maybe he didn’t care. Or maybe he had bigger problems to deal with than his son’s significant other making themselves at home in his temple of a cabin.
It was so easy to drift here. The sound of waves just outside, the distant echo of water lapping against the shore, the rhythmic push and pull of the tide—it all wrapped around you, lulling you into that perfect state of almost-asleep, where reality blurred at the edges and you felt like you could float away.
You’d already woken up twice.
Both times, you had every intention of actually getting out of bed. You’d even made it as far as pushing the blankets down, wiggling your toes, thinking about what you were going to do next. But then the pull of sleep had dragged you back under, his scent wrapping around you like a tide dragging you out to sea.
Maybe just five more minutes.
You weren’t asleep—not really. But you weren’t awake either. You hovered in that in-between, listening to the distant chatter of camp outside, the occasional singing of birds, the calls of demigods training. You wondered, vaguely, if you should be doing something right now.
Then came the softest chuckle.
You stirred, blinking blearily, and those damn sea-green eyes were the first thing you saw.
Percy was perched on the edge of the bed, elbows resting on his knees, watching you with that lopsided grin that made your heart do annoying things inside your chest. His hair was slightly damp, the ends curling slightly, like he’d just finished sparring or maybe finished up with a shower.
"Hi, Handsome," you murmured, your voice still thick with sleep.
"Hi, Beautiful," he said, voice soft as the tide rolling in.
He leaned over and pressed a kiss against your lips—once, then again, then a third time, slow and unhurried, like he had all the time in the world. You could’ve stayed here forever, tangled up in him, the rest of the camp forgotten.
Your arms found their way around his neck without thinking, fingers threading through his hair, and he melted against you, his body warm and solid against yours. Not in the urgent, breathless way of stolen moments, but in something soft, something constant. His body pressed against you in a way that made you feel grounded, like an anchor.
He sighed against your skin, his head resting against your shoulder, the tips of his hair tickling your collarbone. "I swear," he muttered, "I’m just gonna start checking my cabin first whenever I’m looking for you."
You laughed, eyes fluttering shut again. "Smart choice, Seaweed Brain."
He huffed against your neck. "I knew you were gonna say that."
"You always know what I’m gonna say," you murmured, fingers lazily tracing the shape of his shoulder. "It’s, like, your one personality trait."
"Excuse me," he scoffed, pulling back just enough to look at you, feigning offense. "I have plenty of personality traits, thank you very much."
"Uh-huh," you teased, eyes twinkling. "Like sleeping, eating, and almost dying every other week?"
"Wow. Okay. Rude."
His fingers found your sides, pressing in just enough to make you squirm, and you yelped, trying to twist away as laughter bubbled up in your throat. "Percy—no, don’t you dare—"
"Shouldn’t have insulted my personality," he teased, grinning as he easily pinned you down, trapping you beneath him.
You pouted up at him, breathless from laughter. "I like your personality."
"Yeah?" He arched a brow.
You hummed, brushing your nose against his. "Mhm. Even when you’re being an absolute menace."
His grin softened into something more affectionate, something quieter. He dipped his head down, capturing your lips in another kiss—slower this time, lingering, like he was memorizing the feeling of you beneath him. When he finally pulled away, his lips barely ghosting over yours, he murmured, "Guess I can live with that."
You sighed dramatically, stretching beneath him, making no attempt to actually move. "Good, ‘cause I’m not going anywhere."
Percy chuckled, shaking his head as he shifted, settling against you like it was the easiest thing in the world. His arm draped lazily over your waist, pulling you closer as he nestled his head against your chest.
"Yeah, me neither," he mumbled.
He pressed a soft kiss to the side of your neck, warm breath fanning over your skin, and just like that, he stilled. No more teasing, no more witty remarks—just the two of you wrapped up in each other, breathing in sync with the distant lull of the waves outside.
And so you stayed, the rest of the world forgotten.

If Odysseus went and actually talked to Hades
Odysseus: Hello, King of the Underworld. I would like to request your aid in getting back to my home... Hades: You have some nerve coming to me after the amount of deaths you are responsible for. You better have a good reason. Odysseus: ... I just really miss my Wife and Son. Hades: (Ponders) Understandable. Take the River Styxs South then after a day Sail East and you will be back home within a few hours after. Odysseus:... Wait that's it? No test? No bull****? Hades: Look, I spend most of my life monitoring the dead and dealing with Bulls*** from people that only cause problems for themselves and others because they lack common sense or are full of themselves. My only Solace is seeing my Wife 3 months out of the year and playing with my pet dog. Trust me, I RELATE to your struggle. Odysseus: Thank you... but there is the issue of Poseidon. (Explains what happened) Hades: He's mad because you DIDNT kill his son? What a piece of s***. If you run into my brother, Show him this note (writes a note).
Odysseus looks at the note. It reads
'Puddle boy, stop being a brat, go heal your kid and leave this kid alone or GAIA help you I WILL make you deal with EVERY soul the Ocean killed.' Signed Big Bro H
(And Odysseus managed to get himself and the rest of the crew home without any issues for the rest of the journey).

---
The new kid was lost. That much was easy to tell. He had been clamied as Poseidon's son, and yet no one had the thought of actually directing him to his new cabin.
You've been watching him from the corner of your eyes as you help fix your cabin siblings' stance for a spar. He's been walking back and forth in circles like an abandoned kitten. It was honestly amusing to watch.
It was about 2 minutes later when you hear his footsteps nearing you and turned ariund to meet the boy's face. "Hey." He greeted breathily like he's been running a marathon.
"Fish boy." You responded, making him frown. "Um, I'm actually- never mind, I was wondering if you uh, know where the Poseidon cabin is?" You cross your arms and studied the confusion on his face. "Did Chiron not show you?"
"He did, I just, forgot?" Of course he did. "I'll show you, come on." You walk past him to where his cabin is at, the whole map of this camp is engraved in your mind.
"It's really not that far." You tell him as you kept moving. You had to slow down a bit when you remember he's carrying his bags with him.
Percy Jackson looks less threatening to you now than he did before. It's almosf hard to believe that this is the same kid who destroyed a minotaur and broke Clarisse's spear. He was just a boy, and not even a mean or bratty one.
How is it that Mr. D and Chiron both founded it totally fine to let this 12 year old boy live in an empty cabin alone is beyond you, but that's not your problem to think about.
He's quicker on his feet than you expected and asked questions less stupid that others have.
"There shouldn't be a curfew if I'm the only one here, right?" He ask as he drops his bag on the floor by the bed. You watch him from the door, leaning against the frame. "I mean, technically, I'm head of the cabin."
Your brows raised at that. "I don't think that's how it works."
"The curfew is probably the same as any other cabin's curfew, though like you said, it's not like there's anyone else to tell you when to go to bed here." He gets the implication you're making. You weren't going to tell him that he could go around and do as he likes, but he could actually do it if he wanted to. There's not much supervision here.
You turn on the lights from where you're at, the switch button being on the wall by the entrance. The walls of the place were blue and white, it seems more well kept than the other cabins. How disappointing that he wouldn't have anyone to share the space with.
Percy had stood up from his bed to walk over to you to say his thanks when the both of you were interrupted by a familiar voice. He flinched at Clarisse's presence. But you, as surprised as you are, is used to her sneaking up from behind.
"What does this punk want with you?" She questions boldly. You spin around to find her a few steps away from you. Percy physically shivered, walking deeper into the cabin. "I was just asking her for directions." He explained before you could.
She's looking him up and down like predators do to their preys with a demonic glare in her eyes. It's been less than 12 hours since he broke her spear. And losing dessert privileges and her spear wasn't exactly a recipe to making Clarisse happy.
You pat her shoulder with your hand, in which she quickly shrugged off as she steps closer to the cabin, standing next to you and eyeing Percy suspiciously. "You expect me to believe that no one else has shown you the direction here."
"I forgot." He spoke at the same time as you told her, "Clarisse, he forgot."
“Forgot?” Clarisse turns her gaze from him to you and then back to him with a frown. "Well, you've already led him here, haven't you?" You gave her a look that says 'can you not?' She easily ignores your meaning of course, glaring at the boy again.
"Yes, I have. So I'll go now, come on Clarisse." You announced loudly, pulling your girlfriend by her arm to leave Percy alone.
She remains unmoving at first, sizing up Percy, until you tugged at her arm again, calling out her name. “Clarisse, please. Let's just go back to training.” Finally giving in, she lets you drag ger away from the blonde boy. You could almost hear the sigh of relief leave his body.
"Thanks for the help-" you hear the fish boy shout from behind hesitantly.
"Absolute brat." Clarisse mutters under his breath once the two of you are away from him. "He was just asking for help." You felt the need to defend him.
She put her right arm over your shoulder, pulling you closer to her as she scoff at your words. "Great, you're already siding with him after what he's done to me. Really? Are we forgetting that he broke my spear?"
You did chase him around with it like a lunatic, you thought of telling her. But you knew better than to upset her even more.
"I'm always on your side, you know that." You replied gently instead, letting your own arm wrap around her waist as the two of you make it back to the training grounds.
"Good, you're the only one I want on my team, so that better be the last time I see you around him" You smiled at that and leaned closer to her face to place a peck on her cheeks before other people could see you two coming over. "Yes, ma'am." You teased her.
She pulls your face back to hers before you could fullt pull away and kisses you harder, cupping your cheek with her free hand, uncaring of anyone's eyes on you.

Happy Holidays! Time traveler Percy please!
a continuation of 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
The first dozen or so monsters aren't a problem.
Percy is good at this, has fought a war - has fought in multiple wars - and monsters die a lot easier than gods. He misses his sword and he misses being able to draw on water for power, but the sword he took from the armory is perfectly serviceable and he's been in enough situations where water wasn't available to be able to fight without it.
The problem is geography.
If there was a bottleneck, Percy could slaughter them one by one, or three by three, and be perfectly fine, But the field is too wide and the monsters are too many and they're going to overrun him, they're going to get into camp and kill as many demigods as they have to in order to kill Zeus's daughter.
Percy can't let that happen. He's sacrificed so much to make sure that doesn't happen.
Poseidon has many domains, many titles. King of the sea, power over oceans and creatures and all the water of the world is the most well known. The one that will give him away with no defense he can offer.
But Poseidon is more than the king of the sea.
Percy plants his feet, drawing up the power in his blood, in his bones, both his birthright and something he'd honed and nurtured from the moment he could name it.
He raises his sword above his head with two hands and plunges it into the ground.
The earth rumbles and groans and splits in front of him.
A cavern opens in front of him, the ground cracking as far as he can see in either direction, going deeper than it's possible to go, deep enough that the monsters Hades sent disappear right back where they came from.
He is the son of the Earthshaker.
Percy is trembling from the effort to tear the world in two, but it is his right as the son of Poseidon and the earth will not deny him.
When the monsters are gone, the only thing keeping him up is the grip on his sword. He risks a glance behind him to see Chiron, to see Luke and Annabeth and Thalia, to see dozens of campers armed for battle and standing still.
None of them are looking at him, which is odd. They're looking above him.
Percy tilts his head back and sees something that makes no sense at all.
A shimmering pomegranate floats above his head.
He's been claimed by Persephone.

Percy: You're ignoring all your problems.
Poseidon: I know.
Percy: You also know it's an unhealthy coping mechanism?
Poseidon: I'm ignoring that fact as well.
Percy:
Percy: Just like you ignored me the first 12 years of my life?
Poseidon: I-no! I did that to keep you safe from Zeus and Hades's attentions!
Percy: uh huh. But now I'm ignoring that reason.
Poseidon:
Poseidon: I see. It's uncomfortable being on the other side of it. You've made your point. Please stop ignoring me.
Poseidon: Percy? Come back! I swear, your my favorite son and I'll never miss another birthday party or basketball game again-

Heyo~! I’ve been loving your fics and hcs
idk if u do reincarnations, but if u do, can I pls have a Overblot x Yuu!odyseuss(EPIC)? Like they talk about all the monsters and gods they fought while the boys are either disturbed or intrigued by their stories or smth (and may or may not bring up Penelope randomly)
(ODYESUESS OF ITHICAAA!) (don't question the order)
Leona Kingscholar
"You fought what?" "Sirens. Annoying creatures. Sang a pretty tune and tried to eat me." "You mean, like mermaids?" "No. Worse. I tied myself to a mast and listened while my men plugged their ears with wax." "...Sounds like a Savanaclaw party gone wrong."
Leona thinks you’re full of it until he watches you solve a problem by literally outwitting a trickster spirit in under five minutes. That’s when he starts believing the war hero talk. He’s both impressed and annoyed—why is the new herbivore more cunning than him?
Later, mutters: "Figures you'd be the guy who pissed off Poseidon. You're like the sandstorm that just won't go away."
Azul Ashengrotto
Yuu: "Ah, the sea. I once built a raft from scraps and drifted for days while Poseidon tried to murder me." Azul: "...Poseidon?" Yuu: "Yeah. Sea god. Big beard. Angry. Held a grudge ‘cause I blinded his cyclops son." Azul: pales visibly "You blinded a son of a sea god?!"
Azul is completely horrified. You’re walking around with a deity's grudge hanging over you like a cursed pendant, and you casually work at the Monstro Lounge?! He starts subtly avoiding you—until you mention once building a treaty with Circe, and suddenly he needs to know more.
"Wait. You negotiated with a sorceress who turned men into pigs?" "Yep." "How did you survive?!" "Charm. And a strong liver."
Idia Shroud
"Waitwaitwait, you—you escaped the Underworld?? Like, actual Hades Underworld???" Yuu: "Yeah. I chatted with a ghost prophet, nearly lost my soul, the usual." Idia: muffled squealing noises "THAT’S STRAIGHT OUT OF MY FAV GAME." Yuu: “Probably based on me. I am a myth.”
Idia’s horrified but also fully invested. He treats you like a walking RPG protagonist. He even makes fanart of you fighting Scylla and Charybdis with your crew. The only time he freaks out is when you casually mention Athena used to whisper advice in your dreams.
“Wait… a goddess stalked you?” “She was a mentor.” “Yeah sure. That’s what I call my anime crush too.”
Vil Schoenheit
"You turned down immortality twice?" "Once with Calypso. Once with Circe. I had to return home." "...And what, pray tell, was so important that you refused immortality?" "My wife. Penelope."
Vil freezes.
He thought he was dramatic. He thought he was devoted to perfection. But now here’s Yuu, who turned down divine lovers and paradise because of love and loyalty??? Suddenly his standards for romance feel tragically inadequate. He stares at you like you’re from a tragedy—and, in fairness, you kinda are.
"...Was she worth it?" Yuu: softly “Always.”
Malleus Draconia
“You are… far older than you appear.” “I’ve lived other lives, yes. Mortals forget, but the soul remembers.” “…You warred with gods?” “Fought beside some. Fought against others. I once outwitted the goddess of dawn. She offered to make me her husband. I declined.”
Malleus is enamored. He’s finally found someone with a mythic quality akin to his own—a mortal soul shaped by legend, scarred by gods, and still enduring. He listens quietly as you speak of monsters, betrayal, loyalty, and flame-wrecked ships.
He’s especially quiet when you mention Penelope. “She waited twenty years for me. Faithful till the end.” “…A bond that outlasted time,” he says, eyes soft. “I wonder… would you wait that long again?”
Random Penelope Drop
The first time Yuu says her name:
Yuu: “Penelope would’ve liked this fabric. She had a gift for weaving.” Everyone: goes silent Deuce: “Who’s Penelope?” Yuu: smiles faintly “...She was home.”
Cue various expressions: Malleus looking thoughtful, Vil nearly tearing up, Leona groaning like “ugh this guy’s a tragic poem,” Azul furiously scribbling notes like “never piss off a weaver’s husband.”
Riddle Rosehearts
“You blinded a cyclops?! With what rules?! What justification?!”
Yuu: “He ate my crew. I had to escape his cave.” “You could have reasoned with him!” “He was a one-eyed killer. I stabbed him with a stake and called myself ‘Nobody.’” “…You gave him a false name?” “Yes. So when he screamed, ‘Nobody,’ hurt him, no one believed him.” “…That’s… that’s cheating!”
Riddle is horrified. Absolutely flabbergasted. You’re a walking handbook of everything he’s been taught to condemn. Rule-breaking? Lying? Inciting wrath from divine authorities?? You’re a one-person crime wave with charisma! But he listens. Always.

I really like the idea of Percy having a chronic adoption problem so I'm just gonna run with it.
So when Percy finally has enough money he just pours a bunch of it into those adopt an animal programs that are designed to help fund the protection of endangered species. But he is just way too into it, and takes it completely serious.
Annabeth: *Coming home after a stressful day at work, Seeing a tall ass Zebra horse standing in the kitchen staring at her* Percy why the fuck is there a horse in our apartment
Percy: His name is Pablo, he's an Okapi, and he's our son
Annabeth: We can't keep him
Percy: After everything that happened you want to abandon our son, how could you. I even asked him and everything he wants to be here. I didn't think you of all people would want to abandon your child.
Annabeth: *trying desperately not to strangle her boyfriend* Okapi's reach adulthood at 3 years old, Pablo looks older than that, I'm just trying to encourage him to be self sufficient and spread his wings. Also you adopt them to keep them protected in their natural environment, Percy.
------------------------------------------------
Annabeth: *wakes up to see a massive green anaconda on the couch* You've never been able to talk to snakes even if they're water snakes, what possible excuse could you have for this.
Percy: Hermes heard about me adopting animals and gave me the ability to talk to snakes
Annabeth: *mentally adding gave Percy parseltongue to the list of reason to kill Hermes* We have 5 aquariums filled with fish, you're not keeping it.
-------------------------------
Annabeth tries desperately to get help from others but Sally is completely behind it, and the sea gods see no problem with it so she tries to get Thalia's help and its just:
Thalia: Sorry but I am a proud aunt to an electric eel also named Thalia and I can't betray her like that, maybe try Nico.
Annabeth: *Having no clue where this fucking electric eel is and is paranoid around every source of water for the next week.*
Also Thalia totally told Artemis about it and blessed Percy to be able to talk to even more animals.
---------------------------------------------
Annabeth: Percy, why the is there suspiciously bear shaped paw prints on the floor?
Percy: That's Clarisse
Annabeth: And Clarisse is a bear?
Percy: Yeah, it was a little too hot for her so I just froze the water in the bathroom and put her in there
Annabeth: How the FUCK did you get a polar bear into this apartment, we can't keep it.
Percy *pulling out the adoption papers* Oh, Hellhounds are fine but a Polar bear is where you draw the line.
----------------------------------
Eventually Annabeth just tells Percy he might as well open a zoo. Which Percy absolutely tries too, and claims he's just gonna use the "you were a deadbeat dad" excuse on Poseidon to get money.
Annabeth: I take it it didn't work
Percy: I'll get him eventually, besides if I open a zoo you can design it.
Annabeth with park plans that can be modified and haven't been touched in 5 years: I'm listening.
-------------------------------------
So Percy just approaches other gods about funding the whole thing, and within a week he has it almost all accounted for.
Hermes- the Reptile House
Kymopoleia- Jellyfish and sea creatures exhibits
Artemis- all North american animals
Aphrodite and Athena- split every bird exhibit
Amphitrite- Fresh water fish
He even managed to get Keto and Phorcys to agree to sell them the aquarium. When Poseidon appears in the apartment.
Poseidon: I told you I was not going to be a part of this
Percy: And you're not, but your wife, and daughter, and nieces, and nephews, and brothers, and sisters are.
Poseidon, refusing to be one upped: Then I will fund the sea creatures exhibit
Percy: actually the only exhibit open is for sea monsters, were going to have a demigod side.
Poseidon: fine, but I also get my name on any horse exhibits, and a shark named after me.
Percy: Deal
------------------------------
When the zoo opens its just an instant success and safe ground for demigods, then Percy has to be interviewed as the owner.
Interviewer: Do you find yourself building a relationship with any of the creatures, you seem very at ease even around the more dangerous creatures.
Percy, Who just spent the last hour and a half being a couples counselor to some kangaroos: Yeah it's almost like I can talk to them.
And don't worry they do everything by the book and only take in wounded creatures that would die in the wild. But there's still like 30 some odd creatures around the globe that just randomly get visited by a black haired man and blonde woman who call themselves their parents, every year, on the same day. But they bring free food and call it a birthday celebration so why not.

This is just a bunch of thoughts regarding @starfata's idea of Hermes experiencing something similar to Apollo's Trials and going from the severely depressed PJO to something more in line with Epic!Hermes. @chaoticdumbassrogue I thought you might be amused by this, so I'm linking you too.
First of all, there's the actual impetus for this. Zeus cast Apollo out and demoted him to mortality using the whole Octavian thing as an excuse; Hermes, presumably, would have to cause at least equal offense for him to be subjected to something similar. Zeus can't go around stripping gods of their immortality willy-nilly, that's a surefire recipe for uniting everyone against him. He needs an excuse.
(There's also the underlying fan theory that Zeus did it in part because he viewed Apollo as a potential threat - the god is very, very powerful, and despite Apollo's self-relegation to a harmless degenerate, the Thunder Bringer is nothing but paranoid. Hermes - Hermes has never once rebelled against his father. He's the 'good son'; he sticks to his responsibilities, he's a hard worker - partly because IMO PJO!Hermes is so damn depressed and he's using work as a distraction.)
If this is the Athenide Twins AU, however, there is the potential for a very, very real excuse. And it could be twofold.
The first is Hermes simply protesting what's happening to Apollo. He and Apollo - have drifted apart over time, but they once were each other's Favorite Brother. And more than that - they were in love with the Athenide Twins. They know the taste of each other's grief. They were - the other was the only person who knew exactly what they were going through, and there is an unspoken solidarity, an unexpected comfort in having someone else who gets it. And now that Apollo has been punished, just as the Athenide Twins have returned - that might all come boiling to the forefront once again.
The second is - it's the Athenide Twins. Zeus canonically regarded Percy Jackson as too dangerous to live on more then once occasion; he does not like the child of Poseidon. If you're essentially making said child a god, a very, very powerful god with allies among the Olympian Council, he is - he might regard it as a potential problem. If Loyalty and Reason are not on his side... well. That's a threat.
And everyone knew that Apollo and Hermes were in love with the fountain-born twins. Real, true love. They would have done - just about anything for them, and now they are back. If Zeus/Jupiter is acting to preemptively stamp out potential threats, if he's worried that his sons' loyalty is to Loyalty and Family instead of himself - that's all he might need to take action against them. (He seems more Jupiter then Zeus in this excuse, I must admit - if we're going by the 'Rome did it's level best to either erase the existence of the Athenides or co-opt them to their own use' speculation).
So Zeus might take that excuse to case Hermes out and down.
The thing is, Apollo's journey was - very much about reclaiming himself. About rediscovering the truth of his identity after so many centuries of avoidance and lying about things to himself. About coming to terms with who he is and who he wants to be - suiting, for the god of truth. Hermes' would be substantially different.
Hermes is the god of lies. Of journeys. And I think he's been ignoring those domains for a long, long time, subsumed beneath his role as god of messengers and messages. That's - mainly how he's portrayed in PJO; the eternal mailman/deliveryperson. Historically, that is not who Hermes is at all. I think his journey is a journey. (He's forgotten how much he liked traveling. How much he loved the journey over the destination. How it felt, to dance on the edge, with only his wits and his lies charting him a safe path to his goal. And oh, but oh, it is glorious.)
And remember how PJO!Hermes told Percy that he doesn't believe gods can change?
Apollo's quest was about discovering the truth of himself. I think Hermes' might be the realization that he can change. (And that would break him, more than just a little). Where Apollo is rediscovering responsibility and accountability, Hermes is learning how to put down his burdens, how to stop using them as an excuse to punish himself. He's rediscovering his whimsy. (And yes, I'm using this as an excuse to reinvent him as something very close to Epic!Hermes - I like that guy.)
In one way, I think the lesson they learn is very similar - 'you screwed up. You can't change that, but you can do better. So do better'.
I don't know what the end goal of Hermes' quest would be. He doesn't have any legendary antagonists like Apollo does, and besides, head-on confrontations is not what Hermes is known for. He's the god of loopholes, of coming at something sideways. Maybe it's something about dismantling the Triumvate's Empire even as Apollo goes for the decapitating strike? Mm, doesn't feel like it - I do think he'd have to pull off at least one heist with only mortal capabilities. I do think that his and Apollo's paths wouldn't cross at all - their journeys are about them, they wouldn't coincide.
Most of all, I think the journey would have to be about Hermes himself. It can't be about Arsinoe, or 'winning her back' - it has to be something he does for himself.

Dad! Poseidon x mom! Reader
The story continues x x
Plot: Poseidon’s boy twins do everything together but now one has decided he wants to do other stuff leaving the other brother alone. So, Poseidon tries to fix their fighting.
Poseidon knew this day would come.
The day when one twin would want to go his seperate way. One twin was always more outgoing than the other, so Poseidon knew one day that relationship between the two would change.
The outgoing twin would want to go outside and play, while the other twin would want to stay inside and play games. The outgoing twin would want to see Hades in Helheim while the other twin wanted to see Zeus on mount Olympus.
Once Poseidon and (name) noticed that the Iess outgoing twin was feeling left out, which led to the current situation.
“Let go!”
“No! You let go!”
In the boys playroom, the twins were fighting over a toy. Not just any toy, it was a doll of Poseidon that they got from a popular toy store in Valhalla. Both liked the toy, and now they were fighting over who got to play with it. The two caused such a ruckus that both parents entered the playroom and separated the two.
(Name) tried to smooth things over by getting another doll of Zeus and handing it over the usually reserved twin although that didn’t work. Poseidon, offered to take the outgoing twin outside. This worked well as the small boy smiled and got stars in his eyes wanted to go outside and play fight with fake swords with his father.
This seemed to catch the other twin attention as he wiggled out of his mother grasp and held his father’s leg and wanted to go outside as well. The other twin told his brother that he couldn’t go and the continued to fight.
So, carrying both boys in his arms Poseidon took them outside to play. Which later on, Poseidon told his wife that they continued to fight.
Like any father, and a father that also had brothers he knew how fighting with siblings was a natural process.
Still, Poseidon had a plan for his son’s constant fighting.
A day at the beach.
The twins loved the beach, no matter how they felt the beach was their favorite place. (Name) could definitely tell the twins worked well better, as they made sandcastles and collected a few seashells.
“I found a pearl! I’ll give this to mommy.”
The outgoing twin held up a small pearl in victory and planned on giving the gift to (Name) but the other twin snatched the pearl from his brother’s hand.
“I found it! I’ll give it to this mommy!”
“No, I found it!”
The two began to fight once more on the calm and peaceful beach. Before (Name) could stop to the two, Poseidon had snatched both boys, one in each arm and walked off to have a little talk with them. Leaving (Name) behind with the pearl in her hand.
Looking at it carefully, it was actually a diamond.
Thinking to herself her sons had good eyes.
Away from where (Name) was standing Poseidon dropped the boys on the ground. Both landing on their butts softly, and once they looked at their father they knew they were either in trouble or they were going to get a talking to.
Which was the latter.
“What’s the problem with you two?”
The twins heard their father ask them, then both looked at each other then away with a slight pout on their face. Poseidon, knew the two would do this as he knew his sons. The two weren’t like him as a kid, so while this was new for him he still had experience with fighting siblings.
Zeus taking his toys.
Adamas accidentally breaking his weapon.
Hades …well, the two got a long rather well and the two never fought. Except, when he went to Helheim and fought all the titans by himself. Which, Hades could have died luckily he didn’t. But even that wasn’t a fight.
“Well, mommy says we should talk things out..I just wanted to be close to you brother.”
The reserved twin confessed with a little tear in his eye, making the outgoing twin smile as he hugged his reserved brother.
“But we are already close!”
Poseidon saw the two hug and decided to clarify for his son.
“He means, he felt left out.”
“Ohhh.”
It was like a light bulb went off for both boys, the reason for their fighting was one was scared that the other brother would leave him.
“I won’t leave you out anymore.”
“Good, and no more fighting.”
“No more fighting!”
Both boys cheered “No more fighting!” In unison and hugged it out. Making their father proud, as he gave a small smile.
“Good, now go tell your mother.”
Upon their return the boys and Poseidon found (Name) taking it easy on the beach with an umbrella to shade her and Proteus to fan her as she laid down on the sandy beach.
“Aww! I’m so proud of you two!”
Hugging her boys the two promised not to fight anymore and to always be there for each other. Making both parents feel happy.
Poseidon noted that while the two twins they were different and because they were different they could still work together and that made him feel proud.
Also, he thanked (Name) his wife for telling the boys to talk about their feelings. That was something Poseidon had trouble with, but was starting to come around the idea of talking it out.
Later that night, as the two parents send the boys off to bed (Name) kissed the top of their foreheads and told them how proud she was they were getting along.
“Mhmmm, no more fighting. Because I’m your favorite, right mommy?”
“…No. I’m mommy’s favorite.”
“…No, I am-“
The twins went back forth with each other as their mother tried to get a word in, once again Poseidon spoke first.
“Enough. You both agreed to not fight anymore. Besides, I am her favorite.”
“…Oh, no you’re not!”
“Yes, I am. I always have been.”
“You’re delusional.”
Both twins called their father delusional making their mother hold in her snicker as Poseidon knew for sure the twins were definitely his.
“I beg to differ, you are the delusional ones.”
The three went back and forth with their taunts until (Name) intervened and kissed their foreheads again as well as Poseidon’s forehead.
“I love all of you the same, now it’s time for bed.”
The three agreed to disagree with the outgoing twin muttering under his breath he was the favorite but Poseidon heard him and replied back with “I’m her favorite.” Which made both the twins answer with “You are delusional.” As they stuck their tongue out, which made Poseidon kiss (Name)’s cheek and told the twins good night, causing the twins to get upset.
The night was anything but peaceful, hopefully tomorrow would be better.

Hello and may i ask if its okay to request, if so? Can you do ROR x reader?
Poseidon (romance or yandere) With Reader who's like Amphitrite from the greek Mythology. Maybe like a long drabble/fic, in their 1st meeting?
In Greek mythology, Amphitrite was the goddess of the sea and the wife of Poseidon, the god of the sea. She was also the mother and Queen of sea life like fish, seals, and dolphins. Amphitrite was originally a Nereid, or sea nymph, and the eldest of the 50 Nereids. one of the 50 (or 100) daughters (the Nereids) of Nereus and Doris (the daughter of Oceanus).
Reader known for being "shy" and doesn't like being caught. She's afraid of being married because she's heard stories about how most of gods treat their wives/partners. She's independent and gentle but not a pushover & has a protective/brave side (only to her family and sea life). She prefers a quiet life and is content as long as she is treated well.
In how their 1st meet: (though you can change some of these if you like) When Poseidon was looking for a marriage partner. Poseidon first laid eyes on Amphitrite while she was dancing at low tide with her sisters on the isle of Naxos. He immediately fell in love with her and asked for her hand in marriage. Amphitrite, heard of rumors of him and She's quite fearful of his tempestuous nature, refused his advances everytime they met and she tried to fled from him.
(Thank you in advance)
oh, i absolulty LOVE when the fandom uses Amphitrite as Poseidon s/o, its just scratch my brain just fine.
PoseidĂłn x Amphitrite! Reader
Genre: Headcanons
Reader: female
Warnings: Poseidon can be a warning himself (he is trying, okay?), Reader is scared of him so she runs away, some Angst with comfort.
• Doris and Nereus were known for having a prolific offspring, having in their repertoire very strong sons and beautiful daughters, ocean nymphs known as Nereids. Some had a specific purpose, others simply enjoyed the life they had in the ocean, and very few really did not want to attract attention, given their status and natural beauty.
• However, as with everything, there are exceptions. That was the category that she, Amphitrite, fell into the most.
• Don't get me wrong, Amphitrite loved exploring, messing around with humans, and dancing just as much as any of her sisters, however, she was painfully aware of how complicated it was to be a nymph in the Greek pantheon. If any nymph caught the attention of a god, she ended up either cursed or turned into some animal or plant. There were no happy endings for them out there, not with the gods.
• And even if they could survive to marry a god, there was no guarantee that it would be a happy marriage in the long run, just look at the kind of relationships the gods had with each other. Zeus and Hera, constantly arguing every time a new demi-god appeared on earth. Or Hades and Persephone, who couldn't even spend the whole year together. Who would choose to live through that suffering on purpose?
• Because of that, Amphitrite decided to spend time with her sisters instead of potentially exposing herself to the band of vultures that were the gods of Olympus. Even if the idea of finding someone for herself didn't sound bad (on the contrary, it sounded nice), she wouldn't allow herself to be trapped in a Golden cage.
• Unfortunately (or fortunately, however you want to look at it), she had no idea of the issues that were being discussed on Mount Olympus, specifically, regarding a certain god.
• Poseidon, the tyrant of the seas, seemed more angry and unpredictable every day. Even if Zeus and Hades knew how to prevent things from getting worse, that wouldn't always work, they couldn't keep an eye on him all the time. They had to find a solution to their problem, right now.
• Fortunately, Hades had been studying his little brother's behavior very closely, and he noticed that there was a pattern, he always stopped the storms in a certain area, near the island of Naxos.
• An area which was known, where several of Doris and Nereus' daughters could be seen dancing. It was a kind of custom that they had every time they were on the shores of that city. And it seems that Poseidon was quite interested in that (or, rather, one of Nereus' daughters)
• This could be a golden opportunity to solve the problem, and at the same time, finally get Poseidon a permanent companion, who, somehow, would keep him in line.
• Hades and Zeus discussed it, and decided to put this idea into action. Telling Poseidon that they were going to Naxos to settle a “matter” with Nereus and since it was his domain, they needed him (neither brother missed how Poseidon seemed more interested than usual in a diplomatic interaction)
• They even had the luck” that when they went to Naxos, there were several of Nereus and Doris’ daughters, as always, dancing on the shores.
• Much to Nereus’ surprise (while Zeus and Hades were rather amused), Poseidon didn’t seem interested in getting involved with whatever his brothers told him, at that moment, he just focused on watching the Nereids. Or, rather, one specific one, Amphitrite.
• Yep, she was, the woman who had caught his brother’s attention, the one who was able to make the feared tyrant of the seas calm for the first time in how many centuries. They knew they had to act now, or they might lose this opportunity. However, Zeus was the one who decided to bring it up with Nereus.
• He briefly explained the situation, that Poseidon could use a partner, and that it would be of great help to them if Nereus would be so kind as to introduce him to his daughters. Obviously Nereus wasn't going to try to argue with the god of the universe, even if he wanted to plead for his daughters, he gave in, afraid of the repercussions.
• A part of Poseidon wanted to strangle Zeus for his stupid ruse, but on the other hand, he played along without much thought, almost as if he was eager to choose the "lucky" nymph who would be his wife.
• Amphitrite saw all this happen before her eyes, a part of her wanted to run away on the spot, but she had the slightest hope, the smallest one, that the god of the seas wouldn't choose her as a partner. But that hope didn't seem very big, not when she could feel the tyrant of the seas staring at her, very intensely, as she walked to her father's side.
• Amphitrite wanted to be calm, she wished she wasn't so scared, after all, he hadn't done anything wrong yet, right? But Poseidon's name alone made even the bravest tremble, it was like a sign that, whatever this god's intentions were, it wouldn't end well for her.
• And that was what she felt, when Poseidon, without hesitation, pointed at her at the moment of choosing between her sisters, she felt her heart sink, how it was difficult for her to breathe air, she had to get out of there, think about it, but she had to be FAR AWAY—
• Before anyone could stop her, Amphitrite jumped into the water at the shore, and swam out to sea at full speed, to everyone's surprise.
• Obviously, Poseidon isn't happy with this. Almost offended by the nymph's behavior, he seems to make the seas even more unstable in his search.
• On one such day, Hades appears to try to appease him, after all, what kind of image will he be giving to his future wife, if his response to an inconvenience is to throw a tantrum?
• Hades tries to make Poseidon see things from Amphitrite's point of view, so that he doesn't scare her so much the next time they meet. When it seems that Poseidon understood enough, Hades gives him another piece of valuable information; Amphitrite's location. Poseidon left in such a big hurry that it didn't even occur to him to reproach his brother for not telling him right away.
• Amphitrite, meanwhile, only dedicated herself to collecting the snails within reach, staying out of sight thanks to some sea rocks. Not really knowing what to do next, only praying that Poseidon would lose interest in her soon so she could return home.
• However, she didn't expect to start receiving company.
• At first, it was just some small sea animals, like crabs and turtles. They approached her as if trying to cheer her up, make her feel better. Then other animals started coming (as the tides rose), like sea horses, fish, etc.
• Amphitrite didn't really know what to do at first, afraid that they would betray her to the gods, but the animals didn't seem to have hostile intentions, on the contrary, they made her forget for a moment why she was there.
• However, Amphitrite wasn't naive. While she was petting a dolphin on the shore, still covered by the rocks of the sea, she decided to ask a question in the air, about whether this was his way of saying he was sorry. No answer.
• Okay, it seems that he is not very talkative (at least they have that in common), time to try another topic.
• Amphitrite complimented the appearance of the dolphin that demanded her attention on her lap, also highlighting his playful attitude. This time there was a response, even if it was brief, about how additionally, they were intelligent.
• They stayed like that for a while, Amphitrite pointing out both the positive and negative aspects of marine animals, it was strange, even knowing who was answering, she no longer felt the same fear as before when being near him. Is he really the same god? The same one who caused storms, earthquakes and tsunamis, was also talking to her about the fauna of his domain? It was something unbelievable.
• Eventually, Amphitrite decided to face the elephant in the room. She asked him if this was his way of convincing her to accept him as a husband, if so, what assured her that she would not be a trophy wife? What assured her that she would not have a miserable existence?
• The other side of the conversation was silent for a moment, when Amphitrite was losing hope, finally the god spoke.
• He told her some things that she had not noticed, things that he noticed when he saw her(several times) in Naxos. How she cared so much about her family, how she liked to collect seashells and shiny things from the shores to make ornaments after dancing, how gentle she was with the creatures. It was something he could never understand, but it brought him peace to see her.
• Amphitrite didn't know what to say, this was something she genuinely didn't expect, not from the tyrant of the seas at least. Maybe, just maybe, she could try this, maybe she could take the chance, maybe things could be okay, with him.
• If we talk about the relationship after these events, it's much better than many think.
• I say this because every time Poseidon says he's married, you can feel a general aura of concern for the woman, which, while very effective in annoying the tyrant of the seas, the only one who can prevent it from turning into carnage is Amphitrite.
• She has a comfortable life, not only because of the aspects of being royalty and ruling one of the three domains of the Greek pantheon alongside her husband, but she is generally enjoying this kind of life.
• Amphitrite and Poseidon have good communication (ironic given how it was their first time meeting), so while Amphitrite has luxuries and comforts, they are also adapted to her tastes.
• Her crown, for example, was made by herself, with a mix of starfish, pearls and shells. Poseidon gave her as a wedding gift a specific area of his palace so she could be with her favorite sea creatures. And, above all, Amphitrite could come and go as she pleased, dancing with her sisters in Naxos, touring the coasts of Greece, etc.
• (I like to think that Amphitrite also enjoys dancing in the palace, sometimes Poseidon just shows up and stares at her in the doorway)
• Poseidon is someone difficult for everyone to read, but Amphitrite is probably the only one who knows what he is thinking (and vice versa), which makes it of UTMOST IMPORTANCE that she attends her brothers' events with him (neither of them wants to go, but there is no option. They either leave early or make an excuse together to stay with the sea animals).
• Fortunately, the seas are much calmer and less deadly now, but be careful, not all of Amphitrite's charm can retain her husband's character. Although a part of me says she prefers it that way.

Hi, its my first tĂŹme requesting something so I hope im doing it right. I'm chosing from the emoji-coded prompt.
🐰 4 prompt with sasaki🌸 from RoR.
❥· No Smiles for You, Kojiro Sasaki × S/O
Character(s): Kojiro Sasaki (🌸) A/N: Hello there, @mynonopotato! Don't worry you did amazing on this request! I hope you enjoy it! ✎ Summary: After finding out your husband was missing from his medical room, you refuse to smile at him.
Fluff Prompt #4: "I can't smile at you, I'm mad."
┍━━━━━━━━━━━━━☽【❖】☾━━━━━━━━━━━━━┑
Tumblr media
🌸 Kojiro and you were always seen smiling with one another, frowns only appearing when something truly serious happened. Being married for hundreds of years solidified your love, it was hard for some couples to stand a half of a hundred in the afterlife, yet you two made it over 400 years.
🌸 During his fight against Poseidon, you were seen smiling the whole time. Even when Kojiro was struck by the God of the Seas, you kept your calm smile on your face. "It was as if she knew what was going to happen in the end." Usashi Miyamoto would say to his son, Iori.
🌸 Lifting his head up to look at the stands, Kojiro saw his wife there, smiling. She stared into his eyes and just smiled that beautiful smile that screamed love to whomever she looked at.
🌸 But, that smile quickly faded when she caught news from Brunhilde that Kojiro had gone missing from his medical room. The flowers the woman held began to leak water from her grip strengthening on the stems.
🌸 "Is there any idea of where he could be?" You asked the eldest Valkyrie. She merely shook her head and said no, but that she had some others out to find the missing swordsman.
🌸 Following suit in that, you walked around, trying to find your husband. The man you called a fool was living up to that name wholeheartedly right then. Looking around the corner, you noticed some Gods there.
🌸 Rather than feeling fear, you felt bravery. You strode up to the deities and asked if they had seen Kojiro wandering around. The two merely looked at one another and back at you in confusion.
🌸 "I believe I saw him stroll into the garden area, Ma'am." One said, a kind smile on his face as you nodded and thanked him. "Thank you, Lord Rudra."
🌸 "Not a problem."
🌸 Rudra smiled as you walked away. While he sided with the Gods in everything, he had to be nice to those who proved themselves. It was just who he was by nature. Besides, you seemed very nice, so why be rude to someone who didn't deserve it?
🌸 You merely continued on your way, walking down the halls as you finally made it to the garden areas. When you finally made it, you saw two Gods in the doorway. These two being easy to identify; it was Odin, the leader of the Norse pantheon, and Zeus, the head of the Greek pantheon.
🌸 "Excuse me." You said. Zeus turned around and got flustered, causing you to cringe slightly. "What a pretty woman! Come to bring someone a present?" He said.
🌸 You rolled your eyes and walked past him, surprising the Seven Lucky Gods, but not surprising anyone else. They knew of you to a level that they knew you didn't care about other's opinions or views on you. "Sasaki Kojiro." You said lowly.
🌸 Kojiro jerked and froze. His eyebrows furrowed in worry as you looked at him with cold, dead eyes. Buddha smirked and started to chuckle as you walked up to your husband and poked his bandages, making him lunge over in slight pain.
🌸 "You were told to not get up until your wounds were healed. Does it feel like you're healed?"
🌸 "...Yes?"
🌸 Grabbing his ear, you began to drag Kojiro away. The others watched as you drug him out the exit you came from, most likely back to his medical room.
🌸 "What an interesting woman! I wonder if he would lend her to me for a night or two- OW!" Zeus yipped as Odin's birds pecked him on the back of the head.
▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰
🌸 "Come on, love! Please smile at me!" Kojiro begged, his legs tied to his bed as he clasped his hands in a praying motion.
🌸 "I can't smile at you, I'm mad."
🌸 Kojiro groaned and flopped back onto the mattress, hearing a slight creak as he pushed his weight on the materials below that held the mattress upwards.
🌸 You then stood up, your kimono falling completely onto the ground to cover your feet as you began to walk away. He looked at you and his eyes widened slightly and tried to chase after you, only for you to turn and glare at him.
🌸 This glare was one that made Hell itself freeze over.
🌸 "Stay down."
🌸 "Yes, Ma'am."
🌸 Walking out of the room, Buddha witnessed you close the door and stare at him. Your eyes were cold and calculated, much like what they were like an hour prior.
🌸 "Let me guess; relationship troubles?" He asked, lollipop moving around in his mouth as he spoke, a chill tone mixing with his obvious curiosity.
🌸 "Shut up." You said, crossing your arms as Buddha wrapped an arm around your shoulders and hugged you. "I'm still a little sore I wasn't invited to the wedding." He said.
🌸 "I didn't even know you then!"
🌸 "Mhmm, that's why."
🌸 "You're an asshole."
🌸 "How many times have you called your husband that today?"
🌸 "Fuck you."
🌸 "Y/N! MY LOVE! I'M SORRY FOR EVERYTHING! PLEASE COME BACK TO ME!" A scream tears through the tension between the two friends as you roll your eyes and feel your lips tweak upwards in a slight smile.
🌸 "Go get your hubby, lOvE."

ok, so I used to be really sceptical of all rhe poseidon-is-afraid-of-odysseus memes, but I've thought about it more and,,
imagine you're an ancient god, you haven't been bested by anyone for ages, you're one of the most powerful olympians. humans are less than flies to you
this one pesky human harms yoyr son, but you don't really care you only act bc you have to
you think you've dealt with the problem, no issue now
years later, you have a confrontation with said human. recently, this human has
fought a 10 year war
travelled for another 10 years
starved
fought
nearly dies so many times
been to the underworld
been stabbed and knocked unconscious
struggled by charybdis
understandably you think this fight is going to be a breeze,, over in 30 seconds
instead this human fucking kicks your ass completely
now at this point you're afraid, but he's so desperate to get home AND there's some weird freaky 600 dead men lending him their strength thing. it's not too big a deal surely??
this man proceeds to strut home, and slaughter 108 men. not just any men, but rich young nobles who have almost certainly a) been trained well and b) been fighting each other to pass the time. these are not weak untrained peasants. not only does he massacre them with ease, but he does it using a bow with such a ridiculous draw weight NONE OF THEM COULD EVEN STRING IT
and then, after all that he goes and has shit tonnes of reunion sex
like,, this human has kicked your ass and not even been tired
I'd be scared too
