Heartbeat

The scene expands to reveal Vash sitting curled up in the bathtub, shower spraying on the back of his head. His clothes are left aimlessly on the bathroom counter and floor. From outside the bathroom, Wolfwood, shrugging of his jacket, continues, "… The sand steamer leaves at dawn tomorrow so don't take all night. I'm not waking you up gently if you're late." Vash's eyes continue to look downward, glazed and unfocused. Step sound effects and a yawn sound from outside the bathroom before Wolfwood says, "'m going to bed…". In the tub, Vash sits curled up against a dark background, before eventually lifting his head and unfurling himself as the background grows lighter.

He twists around to turn off the shower and then looks at the floor, going, "Ah." He sits, thinking, before calling out "Wolfwood?". A sleepy Wolfwood replies, "…yeah?" from offscreen. "I forgot my towel!" Vash exclaims. "Ugh, look under your change of clothes… Knew you'd forget so I left it there…" a grouchy Wolfwood replies. "Gee, thanks!" Vash replies, a cartoony doodle of him saying "so reliable!".

Vash, shirtless but with sleep pants on, opens the door, towel draped over his head, to see Wolfwood, reclining on the bed. Wolfwood's smoking and holding his rosary, lit by the light from the bathroom. Vash climbs into bed next to him, towel still around his shoulders, and rests his head on Wolfwood's chest. His eyes close and then open to see Wolfwood watching him. Vash exclaims, "Oh! It's speeding up!, and Wolfwood bonks him on the head before saying, "Get on here since ya wanna be so up close 'n personal!". The two tussle briefly and Vash laughs before Wolfwood tucks the blanket around them. Wolfwood continues to smoke as Vash curls up against his chest and listens to his heartbeat, the background turning black once again as he smiles, content. /end id]

A fun fact about me is that I can’t picture things inside my head as images, generally. If I try very hard to picture an apple, all I can manage is a red-ish blob. No details and very fuzzy. Need to focus hard or it slips away. And my hobby is drawing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you really think abt it parrot can be a fallen angel who was created to be a martyr to save people and defied God for some reason and that's why he has a hero complex, hates authority figures, and has wings

ouuuuuu very interesting ! So generally angels are beings that serve God and sit around his throne, and are entirely inhuman. They aren't made for humans, but for the uses and needs of heaven; the salvation of humanity as a whole is Jesus who is human. Angels work on a more "God told them to tell a human a thing" kind of basis. But angels fall all the time for any number of reasons according to some texts, and can fail at their task as a result. one of those failures can be angels falling in love with humans, resulting in the nephilim according to the Book of Enoch, which is honestly the main text you'd look at for the concept of fallen angels after the fall of Lucifer. Fallen angels are actually quite a debated topic amongst some theological scholars apparently ???? which is interesting to me.

anyway I do think it'd be fun to imagine parrot as a fallen angel. though I think his fall should be tied to some kind of sin he commits, which if you ask me is probably pride. he just seems easy to bait into sin (<- big words for a bitch named saiint of all things)

I AGREE its so crazy how zap gags weren't a thing.... like TTCC really popped off with that one! i understand TTR is moreso sticking closer to the way TTO was but WOW zap just feels so natural with a REALLY good mechanic that uses strategy in using squirt and its just so good.... also my favorite track

YEEEPP!! That's how I feel about it. Squirt and zap just mix well together. I also think the addition of an 8th gag track was also a good move, allowing for a nice rotation of combinations (like how lure-trap and throw-drop are together as a combo). And also its a nice even number. I also think it helps utilize squirt, idk just feels good to do in general. Of course, I don't really have anything to compare this to and it's just me speaking as a player of (currently) one server, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

The only thing about L. M. Montgomery that’s hard for me to read is the way she describes inner worlds and imagination. She does it very well, very thoroughly, and in that way it’s not hard but it fills me with longing because I cannot imagine like that. I don’t see anything when I read. I can’t close my eyes and physically picture anything and I always get so jealous.

tbh i think that the "is ai generated content art" argument is roughly the same as "is Duchamp's Fountain art". i think that the argument of if its art is what makes it art, because it is invoking some kind of feeling. starting a conversation. if that makes sense?

that being said, absolutely there is a time and a place for it (ie not replacing the work of paid artists). and it should only be trained on artsts who have consented to it.

i dont want to read fiction made by ai bc if you didn't take the time to write something, why should i take the time to read it? and for non fiction, it'll be riddled with incorrect facts because an algorithm "decided" that this word is the most likely to go next in the sentence based on what it's database says, even if its factually incorrect.

one of my favorite pieces of art is an ai image that was sent to a company that makes paint-by-numbers, and then filled out by a person. the artist, tumblr user rigatonidanza, asks "is this art? at what point does it become art? can it never be art because its ai, or because its paint by numbers? is it art because it elicits a response from the viewer?"

the point of art is to make you think, and to make you feel. does it stop being art if its not made by human hands, the way algorithmically generated images are? is it not art if its something mass produced, made for intentions other than what the artist uses it for, like Fountain? even if looking at it makes you feel something? anything? even if that "something" is a negative emotion?

all that said. if you use generative algorithms as an excuse to not pay real artists, you are a human tar pit. may you always immedeatly stub your toe after it stops hurting from the last time you stubbed it.

ok so i ended up on a random internet rabbit hole and stumbled across what is maybe one of the most horribly photoshopped movie posters i’ve ever seen
