I can't believe this. Some Sakura stans are unbelievable, man. I just saw a Sakura stan saying, in an attempt to defend her fave, that when writing about her or defending her from haters, Sakura fans have to come out with the "facts" because the haters always cite filler. It just baffles me because, from my experience, it's exactly the other way around. Many Sakura haters are either Sasuke fans or SNS shippers (a ship I'm neutral towards). I also read many of their analyses, and they're the ones constantly citing canon facts from the manga and real Kishimoto interviews. Sakura fans, on the other hand? They're the ones citing stuff from unreliable anime episodes, the frigging novels, and taking some of Kishimoto's interviews out of context. That Sakura fan also claimed that Sakura represents all women" and that most of her hate is "based on mysoginy. " uhm, no? Sakura does not represent all women. And not all her hate is mysoginy. Now, yeah, I'll admit that some of the straight guys who hate her might do it partially out of mysoginy, especially if they like Hinata, and the only things they like bout Tsunade's character are her huge melons. This type of dudes? Definitely mysoginists. But not everyone's like that. Many people who hate her do it cause she's really unlikable. Simple as that.

The other little detail that absolutely blew my mind is that, also, why scrolling, I came across a "who's your favorite Uchiha" poll (I obviously voted Sasuke). And Sakura was included as one of the options!! You gotta be kidding, man. Why's she included in a poll bout Uchiha? What's funnier is that the OP had left a little note at the bottom of the poll saying that there's this character named Shin Uchiha? (I have no idea who that is). But this Shin was supposedly not included in the poll cause in the op's words, "he's not an Uchiha he took the name." I suppose, implying this dude married into the clan? If Shin was excluded for that, then why was Sakura included?! She also married into the clan. She's not a real Uchiha and will never be. In fact, despite not knowing who this Shin Uchiha is, I'm sure his marriage was consensual between both parties and not toxic. Unlike Sakura's marriage, which is still clowned on to this day, for being one of the worst ships in all of shōnen.

Do you ever think about the parallels between wind waker and skyward sword. islands sent up to the sky far far away from the ruined land below. a doomed world flooded, leaving behind only the peaks of mountains as islands in a great sea. A boy going through trial after trial to prove himself as a hero to the gods.

In wind waker, link only goes on his quest to save aryll. He is not a hero chosen by the gods. In skyward sword, he is chosen, but still the only reason he goes on his quest is to save zelda. Theyre both saving the world for selfish reasons.

Link and zelda seeing the surface and link and tetra seeing the world beneath the waces. Both leaving behind the past to bring about a new hyrule.

Skyward sword begins the cycle. In wind waker, you leave it all at the bottom of the ocean. There is no triforce in spirit tracks, no ganon, no master sword.
