Hey do you know if wonder woman has ever canonically been stated to be a lesbian in main universe? Having an internet debate and I need an expert's opinion

Deeply apologize for the delayed response, I know you have probably long forgotten whatever internet argument you were in that prompted you to ask me this but it got lost in my drafts. The answer is that no, Diana is not canonically a lesbian and in fact has never been canonically a lesbian in any universe. She's bisexual.

While the subtext and insinuations have been there forever, she's only been explicitly confirmed as bisexual in the main universe since Greg Rucka's Rebirth run, when he gave Diana an ex-girlfriend from Themyscira, Kasia. Since then, there have been a number of Elseworlds stories that have given Diana a variety of past and current female love interests (Mala and Artemis in Earth One, Alethea in The True Amazon, Mera in DC Bombshells, Kara Zor-El—or rather, Zala Jor-El—in Dark Knights of Steel), but none in the main universe.

On the mainverse male love interest side, Pre-Crisis!Diana obviously had Steve Trevor, Post-Crisis!Diana had a string of male love interests (none of whom lasted very long), New 52!Diana dated Superman, and post-Rebirth!Diana dated Steve and then had a couple of other short-term romances, notably Siegfried during the Valhalla arc.

Currently, Diana is single in Tom King's run. Largely because King just killed Steve, causing her to go into a depression spiral and make a clay baby imbued with fragments of her and Steve's souls, but she's single. So that's where we are right now.

The way Wonder Woman fans can be rightfully wary on how long the confirmed Wonder Woman film will take for even updates and get instantly told to be grateful or to be more optismistic by fans of heroes like Superman and Batman who literally have a shit ton of movies and shows and games and such by this point while Wonder Woman sadly has a history now of not getting as much to the point her attempt at a video game was cancelled and we've not heard much on that amazons prequel, Paradise Lost.
