JFC CAN WE STOP PUTTING RELATIONSHIPS INTO A SOCIETAL HIERARCHY MAYBE???
"QPRs are deeper than a friendship🥺" HUSHHHH YOU NEED TO HUSHHHH
a QPR is whatever the fuck you want it to be!! And trying to put them on a higher level than friendship in society reminds me so much of how people have basically made nonbinary into a third part of a trinary instead of a deconstruction of the binary.
It's like making a trinary of relationships lmao

i feel like genderqueer was used a lot more when i was in high school in the aughts, along with genderfluid, bigender, etc, and then non-binary became sort of THE term to use so that now it feels like it’s just a third checkbox — mark Male, Female, or NonBinary. i totally forgot that genderqueer was an option until recently, and i’m so glad i found it again.
definitely! i think that was a peak in usage for all of those, and epecially genderqueer. i learned the term some time in 2010 - 2011 and i instantly fell in love with it. i also found the terms neutrois and agender back in those days as well. i felt like it was way more common to see a variety of gender labels that fell outside of binary man or binary woman back then, whereas now, like you said, non binary just kind of... took over and snuffed out a lot of those other terms
it's great that it's there for people who need it, but like you said it's not good that we're creating a trinary, here. we need to allow diversity in expression of gender, especially when it's something that isn't man or woman. i don't really know why people have pushed so hard to try to make non binary this monolith of "other/third" genders, but it's honestly disrespectful. no one should feel obligated to identify with a label just because it's what other people want you to use.
i'm glad you rediscovered it! i rediscovered it in 2022 and i finally felt like myself again. i've never identified as non binary. i figured out that i was a "third" gender person over a decade ago, and the term that fit me was genderqueer. it still fits me now. i don't have to change my verbiage to adopt a term that literally doesn't fit me. thanks for stopping by, i'm glad you feel reconnected with that part of yourself!

Ororo tries to kill mutants

Jean Grey and her 'change the world' squad are laying low in Wakanda after it appears Jean exploded the UK security council member's head. Ororo suddenly goes buckwild and starts frying people and spouting anti-mutant words.

I have to imagine Jean was protecting everyone and struggling, because if Ororo wants you dead then you are fucked. Then again, she is very strong-willed, so perhaps she's resisting whatever's controlling her and holding back. That Sentinel is team mutant btw.

Yeah, Ororo is definitely resisting. Everyone would be dead otherwise, Jean or no Jean. You can't hold the weather in your hands. Jean is certainly trying to get through to her, but that only seems to make things worse. She's even trying to kill herself.

Fortunately Gentle has his wits about him and shields Ororo with his body. He is incredibly strong with Vibranium stuff all over his body, but that's gotta hurt. Gabby manages to sneak in and knock her out. See Logan, non-lethal neutralizing of a very dangerous threat. Kurt doesn't do a lot.

After Ororo is subdued the team plus Wakanda's finest minds are trying to figure out what happened. T'challa's science, Jean's telepathy + telekinesis, and Trinary's technopathy identify the issue - a nano sentinel that stokes mutant hate - and remove it. Someone out there is attempting genocide with sentinels and telepathy (it's Cassandra Nova.)
It's certainly a deadly threat that seems near impossible to defeat, but it's multiple past threats mashed together with a single bad guy (who's back again right now.) Maybe I'm being unfair. One demagogue spouting hate can go a long way and we haven't solved the systemic issues that enable in real life, so maybe expecting Marvel Comics to figure it out is foolish expectations.
Same goes for troll farms and bots, influencing elections and spreading misinformation. Rich assholes like the Hellfire Club are both neoliberal kings and kingmakers. The US government and others have been building sentinels for ages with no sign of stopping. Replace mutants with 'Muslim wedding party' or brown civilians and drones sentinels have been with us all along. Through that lens the cycle of mutant oppression looks more true to life, and for all I think the mutant metaphor has dulled drastically over the decades, there's definitely something there.
I do think it needs a fresh perspective, but comics reflect society not influence it.

I'm not gonna lie, somewhere along the way I stopped transitioning to be a woman and I started transitioning to be trans. I realized this when another woman called her transition a "mere tramitation" and those words offended me. She also got offended that I was playing with my hrt, like how I have good lvls of estrogen already but I want more so in the future I'll up the dose for fun (in a non damaging manner, don't worry) or how I'm gonna take prog for fun.
Like I get it, to her and a lot of you it is literally just a step towards becoming whatever it is you want to be, and obviously I have no problem with that. I'm not glorifying transition either, I've made posts in the past about how overglorifying it can cause some trans people to feel alienated or to feel not trans enough.
But it doesn't change the fact that those words did hurt me, and that my transition has no goal other than transitioning itself now, it is what makes me happy. I realized that if I had been born female I would transition too, it's clearly not about being a woman anymore, it is about wanting to be trans, to not be cis, to not be 100% binary.
I don't feel like I want to be called non binary because I don't want to be tossed against my will onto that stupid gender trinary oversimplification that a lot of people make. I'd say that I am mostly agender, but not in the sense that I have no gender ever, in the sense that I am a transparent recipient that is empty most of the time but is occasionally filled with gender of all kinds, after all even though I am agender I am still a tgirl and I still love the idea of becoming a butch tgirl, and if I was born with a vagina and tits i'd most likely be a tboy and I'd be having a crysis rn trying to decide if I want top surgery or I wanna be a gnc titful boy, cause I know myself, I know I would literally love both choices, I literally have that same internal debate now about my bottom surgery.

it is 1am and i honestly do not know or care if this makes any sense or if i just sound like im rambling abt nothing because im just so frustrated and annoyed and need to vent
i wish people never started saying “nonbinary isn’t a gender” because that’s essentially saying “gay isn’t a sexuality”
they are both umbrella terms that could be a sexuality/gender on their own but could also mean a vast array of other things that fall under that umbrella.
nonbinary is as much of a gender to some and an umbrella for others as gay is a sexuality to some and an umbrella for others.
this oversimplified generalization that nonbinary isn’t a gender has caused more harm than good as it was basically used to drill into people that enbies all fall under diet man or diet woman categories. it has caused nonbinary as a gender category to be taken less seriously because the people using it were doing so to make the point that enbies can be gaylm/lesbian (which is true) but it’s had the consequence of now everyone mentally puts enbies in the mental category of “this nonbinary dates this women so that means they’re a nb sapphic which means i should treat them like a girl probably” which makes me so…. fududndndnf /neg
it also just makes people confused about what bisexuality is too because they categorize all nonbinary people under “man” and “woman” attraction even if they are nonbinary, causing many people who fall under the bi umbrella to get mislabeled as lesbians/gaylm because they’re attracted to multiple genders just excluding one of the binary genders because no one thinks being attracted to enbies “counts” as a separate gender category because everyone is mentally telling themselves “enbies aren’t separate from man and woman” when they tell themselves “nonbinary isn’t a gender”
i am nonbinary and that is my gender. it is not the only word i use to describe my gender but it is my gender category. i am not adjacent to man or womanhood. i can not be restricted to this masc/fem binary people keep trying to put me in to make their view of gender more simple. if i dont fit your binary then make a fucking trinary idc just include me without mentally putting me into a category that erases my gender identity. stop looking at me as a diet man/woman. stop telling me my gender isn’t my gender because you don’t want to consider my gender is outside the scope of the gender binary.
if you’re a nonbinary person who doesn’t view your personal nonbinariness like this then fine but stop forcing that on me cause now i need to live with the result of the push of “nonbinary isn’t a gender” mentality and it’s really not fun. it’s really invalidating and sucks that i’m never treated like my identity exists in the same way the binary genders get to.
#nonbinary#non bianry#trans#transneutral#nonbinary rant#vent post#i love you nby sapphics/achilleans im just rly frustrated rn

cut for length and for content. First Aid and Ratchet chat about medical kink and dismantling their fuckbuddies and then having sex about it but Ratchet thinks First Aid is fucking some Autobot and keeps trying to figure out who the fuck he is talking about and First Aid is convinced Ratchet vaguely referencing Wheeljack is actually talking about having a Decepticon fuckbuddy of his own so they are VERY MUCH having two different conversations at the same time
Ratchet wasn't really sure how they'd gotten onto the topic of kink, but he supposed it had to come up sooner or later. Something like one in seven medics were onlined with a sadism subroutine. It was helpful in getting mecha with particularly active empathy neurocenters over the emotional difficulty associated with cutting patients open. First Aid had the empathy in spades, and… well. He wasn't particularly subtle about the sadism, either. Still, he hadn't brought it up, and he'd slowly gotten a handle on himself and stopped staring down patients' open chassis like he wanted to drink their innermost energon, and then he'd started flouncing about with the obvious satisfied glow of someone who was getting laid and laid well. Stood to reason that he'd found someone to explain it all to him, even if that hadn't been Ratchet.
Really, Ratchet thought, listening to First Aid brag, what really didn't add up was how [easily] he'd found someone to play with.
"…so he was down two major motor relays," First Aid continued, beaming, "and I was rooting around for the third, the one in the trinariate junction behind the thoraccis?"
Ratchet knew the one, nodding. It was the motor relay that controlled the lower body of a rotary model. Maybe… Springer? Was he talking about Springer? As far as Ratchet knew, Springer didn't sub, though, and he wasn't into surgery…
"So I disabled that right about when he got the ropes I had around his wrists around my neck, and I slipped and cut him a little deeper than I meant because he wanted to kiss me. It was cute but I was so worried. The quatrenary fuel-filtration systems usually aren't that time-sensitive fixes, though, right? If I nick it a second time, that's not such a big deal, right? I never like damaging these systems before I know how they take to it."
[Quatrenary] fuel systems? Okay, so not Springer, who was on a three-tank setup… that was unusual. Wait- Blades, maybe? Was Blades a sub? Maybe that would explain why no one had told Ratchet there was another hardcore painplayer on base; he hadn't realized Ratchet was up to play with him. But it didn't really sound like Blades.
"Anyway, from there I wound up going for his arms next, after I patched the split, and once that was done the roleplay element was pretty much done, right? I'm not supposed to keep the persona up if we haven't really talked about it, right? He said I did fine, but I want to make sure I'm getting the concepts."
"Let me just get this straight," Ratchet said, running it over in his head. "You physically disabled and dismantled your partner with the understanding that you were doing a consensual-non-consent scene where you were an evil medic stripping him apart for spare parts, and you… put on some kind of persona for the paralysis but not for the organ-fondling?"
"Uh… yeah?" First Aid fidgeted a little, clasping his hands in front of his hips and then moving them back to his sides. "I did do it wrong, didn't I."
["Not] necessarily," Ratchet said, raising a hand. "Here, sit down. What makes you think you did it wrong?"
"My, uh, partner," First Aid said, slumping into a seat across from Ratchet. "Played his role the entire time. I just got wrapped up in it and forgot I was pretending to be someone else."
"Okay," Ratchet said. "You could probably afford to discuss this with your partner-- "
"He'll just wave me off," First Aid said immediately. "He says [everything] I do is perfect, even though I know I hardly know what I'm doing. I don't really know how to roleplay. I kind of don't think I like it. It feels unnatural."
Ratchet frowned. "You don't have to play a character to play a scene. You can just be yourself, acting in unusual ways. I've done it a fair few times before, and--"
First Aid's visor snapped up, rapt. Huh.
"Um," Ratchet said.
"Really?" First Aid asked.
"Yeah," Ratchet said.
"Okay, we can come back to this," First Aid said suddenly, waving one hand and then leaning over the table, folding both under his chin. "Want to swap stories?"
"What?" Ratchet said.
"I'm practically dying, not telling anyone about it," First Aid said, looking up at Ratchet. "Tripline and Outlet don't like it when I talk about my hookups, they say they think it's scary and it makes them cringe, which is fair and I get it but I hear about what they get up to all the time and no one ever listens to me about mine. I--"
"Okay, okay, I get the picture," Ratchet said, raising his hands to stem the enthusiastic tide of words. "You've got to find more friends who have similar interests, people like your rotary friend."
"And you," First Aid cut in. "You said you do it too."
"I do, but," Ratchet said. "First Aid, uh, I'm your direct superior. I'm not supposed to be involved in your romantic pursuits."
"Well, that's cool, because you aren't," First Aid said. "I just don't really know anyone else who's… you know, [cool] about… it. So just as friends."
Okay, Ratchet could work with that. It probably would do First Aid some good to introduce him to the other kinksters on board, even if there weren't many who were apparently on First Aid's level. Straight from virgin to doing full-body dismantling scenes inside of a few months. He'd certainly jumped straight into the deep end.
"Alright," Ratchet said. Probably for the best not to tell First Aid [who] he was talking about, at least until he knew First Aid wouldn't make some sort of a thing about it. He'd gotten a weird social-standards download pack, and he had some of the [oddest] gaps in his etiquette protocols. Ratchet was never sure when they were going to come out. "So, I have a friend…"
-
First Aid could hardly believe it. ['Your rotary friend'], Ratchet had said. He [knew] about Vortex.
And he was okay with it! First Aid couldn't [believe] his audials. He should've gotten the guts to talk to Ratchet sooner.
"I have a friend," Ratchet said vaguely, "someone I've known for a long time.

FINALplus New Chapter: The Boy's Resolve.
A new additional chapter added to FINALplus, that serves to promote GaoGaiGar Vs Betterman.
1: 2009: Mamoru again looks at the plaque on the GGG Monument, "With the Oath Sworn in Courage", and finds Kaidou already there, looking at the plaque. He informs his friend he's about to head to the Marine Refuge Base, asking Kaidou to come as well. Both have badges for "Boys and Girls GGG", Hana, Reiko, Ushi Nd Sunou are also members, and are already headed there.
It's been two years since the battle in the Trinary Star System, and one since the monument was erected. GGG Marine Base is in Enoshima, and can be reached by high-speed rail. There's rumours the exile order for GGG might be reversed, although if it's done it will be in the assumption they are dead. Kaidou's belief J and Tomoro are alive makes Mamoru feel like he had lost faith.
2
Aboard the Orbit Base, Acting Chief Yang Long-Li communicates with UN Secretary-General Rose Approval. Yaginuma was removed from the position of Chief for his role in the rebellion 2 years ago, while Yang, who had assisted the plan behind the scenes while acting officially to stop it, had accepted the position until a suitable candidate could be found, while also trying to fulfil Taiga's will and prevent the Space Energy Development Plan from coming to fruition, understanding the risks of using THE POWER. However he has now decided to inform Rose Approval of his support, as he tells Chief Scientist Takanohashi Ryousuke, Yang had managed to successfully lobby for the rest of GGG who remained to keep their positions, aside from Yaginuma. There reason for changing their minds are not due to the desire for power for reconstruction, but because they believe THE POWER is needed to save the Braves. It was only after Mamoru and Kaidou returned that they had learned Galeoria Comet transported through time as well as space, the Trinary Star System existed in a universe destroyed 15 Billion years ago. Yang is prepared for the consequences from Taiga if they meet again.
3
Akamatsu Shigeru, who certainly carries the spirit of the Shishioh Line, is annoyed that part-timers Sai Hinoki and Aono Keita haven't turned up yet. Aside from his role as President of Akamatsu Industries, he now also serves as Director of GGG Marine Base, in this role he oversees the kids right now.
Today Kakuseijin No. Z is due for a test run, Keita and Hinoki are meant to be doing it, but with their absence Ushi tries to volunteer himself, Kaidou reminds him they all took Dual Kind compatibility tests and didn't match. Ushi wishes he could pilot GGG's first manned robot. All 4 Ushiyama Brothers have joined GGG or it's affiliates. Akamatsu is annoyed by Keita and Hinoki idling.
4
Earlier, Keita and Hinoki met for a date before they would be heading off for the test. Hinoki is attending G-Island University.
While they enjoy their date, Hinoki suddenly sees what seems to be her brother, Mario, though she now understands that Lamia, who looks like Mario, is not him. They haven't seen Lamia in 3 years, though he spent a lot of that under the surface recuperating. When she tells Keita, they decide to try and follow him, to work out what it happening.
They try to contact Akamatsu, but neither of their GGG Smartphones will connect, as though Yokohama itself has been blacked out.
5
The Orbit Base receives a report of a giant robot appearing in Yokohama. Yamajii has joined GGG as Intelligence Operator, and Ritchan has become Research Operator. Yamajii detects a Fake GS-Ride from the robot, Ritchan clarifies there are 3 reactions. Yang as Takanohashi are concerned at the appearance of a new Gigantesque, especially with such a power yield, as are Mobile Operator Hatsuno Ayame and Maintenance Operator Ushiyama Tsuguo, but they argue over exactly the power difference.
Before Orbit Base can check on the maintenance progress on the Mobile Unit, Akamatsu announces he has already Mirror Catapulted GetsuRyu, NichiRyu, ShoRyu and Porc-Auto, completing maintenance ahead of schedule, having decided to work on them in the absence of the test pilots. Yang starts wondering if Akamatsu has the potential to be director.
6
The gold NichiRyu crash lands, her silver sister, GetsuRyu, tries to help her up but they just argue. Their younger brother, sky-blue ShoRyu, is actually GBR-5, but his development was frozen for a long time to prioritise the Goldion Hammer, so his AI is still young. Big Porc-Auto, while smaller, takes command. Porc-Auto uses San Mittai with GunEagle and GunShepherd to form Big Porc-Auto
The Bionet Robot is designated Dernier Gigantesque, their aim was for it to reach central Yokohama before GGG could react, but Akamatsu acting on his own prevented that. The sisters start competing, although this is where their SympaRates start rising. Big Porc-Auto uses 4000 Magnum, which triggers a trap, ShoRyu doesn't warn in time.
7
The Jamming is disabled so Dernier can focus on immobilising the Braves, so GGG Marine Refuge Base can see what is happening via ShoRyu. Mamoru takes note of Kakuseijin No. Z, Kaidou confirms he feels the same.
Kaidou boards Cereb Head, and Mamoru Womb Head, Akamatsu is in the middle of telling them there's no point when they suddenly manage to activate it, as though No. Z had spoken to them, though they only emit Dual Impulses in Purification Mode.
No. Z is readied for launch from the Mirror Catapult, Hana telling them to come back safely.
8
Dernier has immobilised the land bound Braves, only ShoRyu continues to dodge, eventually luring to a spot where he can immobilise it, keeping it to a baseball field, but is then brought down.
Suddenly Kakuseijin No. Z, in Accept Mode, flies straight through Dernier's weapon.
As they plan to prevent further damage, Kaidou grimly notes his and J's failure to concern themselves with collateral damage early on. They analyse the structure, as Tsuguo reports that with the EM wave weaponry disabled it has turned the Fake GS-Ride powering those features towards boosting damage.
9
No. Z struggles against Dernier but they suddenly receive advice from Keita and Hinoki, who have followed Dernier to the stadium. With Analysis complete, they switch to Active Mode, dubbed ZetGo. Yang has a certain admiration for Akamatsu's development of a NeuroMechanoid resembling GaiGar and GaoFar.
Kaidou initiates the Break Synthesise, readying the attack, ZetGo then rushes and unleashes a Synapse Attack to Dernier, destroying the robot via the Fake GS-Ride. Keita moves to shield Hinoki from debris, but the Braves arrive and destroy it first. Hinoki sees one piece destroyed on its own, the work of Betterman Nebula. Akamatsu now has new plans for advancement of Kakuseijin past No. Z.
Mamoru makes the decision that they will find a way to bring the Braves back
A unanimous vote sees the Space Energy Development Plan, Project Z, approved, ratified by Rose Approval.

The Fantasy World
We are still formulating details about the fantasy world in which we are playing in, but here are a few details that we are considering:
Men, women and enn are all afforded the same status, with enn being a name for what we would call "nonbinary". The equivalent to "Ladies and Gentlemen" is "Jewel", the equivalent to "Lord and Lady" is "Grace", a royal ruler is a Crown or a Sovereign, and if one needs more terms, something along the lines of gemstones or jewels may be a good place to start.
This is by no means a perfect system, for one could possibly consider this an equally restrictive trinary to the historical binary complete with stereotypes, but here in this fantasy world shifting between gender categories is not seen as particularly unusual, and neither is love between anybody of any gender- and yes, to not love is also seen as quite valid, though the pressure from certain families to at least adopt or continue a line may be high.
In fact, perhaps such changes are welcomed, with the gentry and nobility crafting elaborate coming out balls for their scions. This does make it rather stifling for those questioning their own identities and wishing to only try on or experiment, and does place a burden on being "certain" for those families with less resources, but those who wish to show off may in fact put on many parties, with some scandals being provoked as to rumours of authenticity.
Perhaps those not so burdened with money find it more freeing to explore their own identities without such societal burdens.
Loegris has been ruled by Kings, Queens and Crowns. The current ruler is Crown Jeorn IV, an extravagant enn whose reign has been characterised by both war, the rise of the Loegrian Empire and scandal. Ships are all prefixed with HMS for His, Her and an archaic Hir, though "They/Them" is a more modernised version that the Crown uses for themself.
Gallia did have a Revolution which was as radical and momentous as the French Revolution is in our history, but from the chaos of the aftermath rose a brilliant military leader. She has since crowned herself empress, and so Empress Josephine the First is the latest threat from the Gallian Empire, a tactical and military genius who threatens the Loegrian way of life with her encroaching conquests.
There is no racialised slave trade, but there are slaves and there is colonial conquest. Black and brown people exist and live and work freely in the Empire of Loegris in all social classes.
There will be a post detailing the Articles of War sometime soon, the rules that govern the wooden world of the mighty Crown's Navy, but one important matter: there is no injunction against sodomy here, but…
Thou shalt not love aboard a man of war.
Oh! Form friendships, form companionships, form rivalries and enmities as you'd like, enlist with your family if you'd like, but be quiet, we cannot afford your mewling when your lover falls to gunfire, even if your union does not create children there is too much room for scandal and frustration when there is love aboard!
Of course, for everyone knows that love is forbidden, if such cases are found- then why, there must be a devious seducer and a poor victim. The seducer will be flogged or otherwise punished, perhaps put to death if it is serious enough, and the victim is sent to the surgeon or one of the surgeon's servants for… treatment, mayhaps.
But this is only for the common sailor.
For the commissioned officers, gentry touched by grace and nobility, they know how to hold their passions. Ah, yes, sometimes a common sailor seduces an officer, and of course we know that the common sailor is the seducer, so they will be punished and the officer… politely dismissed at the end of their voyage.
And perhaps some sailors have been accused falsely of falling into that crime and punished unjustly, for retribution's sake. It is an easy crime to fake for those with resources.
Yes, this is cruel and unjust. It is not fair. But let me tell you; do not let this stop you from living.
If you wish to love, do not let this stop you from loving.
Of course, you do not have to love or be capable of love. But even then... this world is cruel, so please, even so, I would like to ask you to live fiercely-
for the sake of those who cannot.

This mech is based on an alternate timeline I've envisioned for how the Rasalhague Dominion forms which makes more sense, to me, for the character of the Rasalhaguer peoples. What ended up happening effectively put Clan Ghost Bear into the same position as Kurita was in over them, which is something no Rasalhaguer would accept. Especially not the ones who'd been living under occupation.
Even after the 3071 Combine-Dominion War which was used as leverage to improve the situation of Rasalhaguers, that only managed to net them a permanent 1/3rd minority in their own Parlament, with the Tauman (Clanner military, not including the rest of the KungsArme) taking 1/3rd, and the Clanner civilian casts taking the last third. The Clanners are a minority by population and a conquer at that, and so this and the previous arrangements are completely unacceptable. If the writers paid any attention to the lore, they'd have remembered that the Rasalhaguer peoples had fought for SEVEN HUNDRED YEARS (24 generations), to free themselves from the Draconis Combine. All the while they'd resisted Kuritas best attempts to forcibly assimilate them and destroy their culture. The Rasalhaguer culture is very strong and would not die out a mere single generation after they'd gotten free.
To this end, I propose this change:
The "deal," if it can be called that, which was accepted in current canon is rejected and a third deal is reached: The Ghost Bear Tauman becomes a semi-independent entity within the KungsArme, similar to the U.S. Marines to the U.S. Navy, as a sort-of SpecOps section while also providing a Warrior to each KungsArme Lance to turn it into a Star and taking on a specialized role within the Lance. Sort-of like attaching a Green Beret or Navy Seal to a normal fire team. The Khans would be First-Amongst-Equals with the rest of the generals of the FRR, but still have to listen to the Prince Elect. Ghost Bear would give back full control of the systems and worlds they stole from Rasalhague, as well as handing over the means of producing and understanding ClanTech. Finally the Clanner Civilian Casts would cease being tied to the Khans and to Ghost Bear and become regular civilians.
In exchange the Khans would be permitted to assign a number of advisors to the Parliament to help them to achieve Ghost Bears primary goal as a Warden-faction Clan: Prevent another full-scale war like the Amaris Civil War or the Succession Wars. Using Rasalhague's position and new-found technological advantage to leverage peace in the inner sphere. These advisors would be allowed to speak with the Parliament only in full view of the public to assuage fears of them becoming a shadow-government.
This accomplishes the primary goal that Ghost Bear had in proposing joining with the FRR in the first place: get the Rasalhaguers they were occupying to stop trying to resist their occupation and start promoting peace (by force as necessary) in the Inner Sphere.
Now, this would still not be great as far as most Rasalhaguers would be concerned, but it's a lesser enough evil that there wouldn't be a universal rejection over it.
To smooth things over, I would have Ghost Bear secretly from the Rasalhaguer peoples issue a challenge of possession for the Rasalhague System and all systems within 1 jump of it against Clan Wolf, who held Rasalhague at the time. They would keep this a secret from the FRR so that no one would get angry at them if they failed. After all, if you're told that someone's going to try to get your things back for you you'll be upset if they fail when you're expecting success; but if you find out after they fail that they tried you'll just be happy they tried at all. To accomplish this, and for symbolic reasons, Ghost Bear would enlist the aid of the best 15 pilots the 1st Tyr could afford to send, but to keep it a secret they have to use second and third-line mechs. This results in a trinary of Hatchetmen, Hussars, Trebuchets, and Firestarters/Wolfhounds being deployed with clan-tech upgrade packages as the first wave to hit Rasalhague proper. Clan Wolf, of course, hasn't have learned their lessen from Tukayyid yet, and would try to underbid the "freebirths" that they see as a direct insult to them. This would cost Clan Wolf Rasalhague, at significant losses to the 1st Tyr Trinary, suffering 11 mechs destroyed and 9 mechwarriors KIA. The proper Ghost Bear forces would suffer similar, but not quite as heavy losses.
Due to the successful employment of the Hatchetman the development of the NSM Norseman begins shortly thereafter, reaching first successful production in 3073.
As a result of the integration of Ghost Bear into the Free Rasalhague Republic, Clan Wolf and Clan Jade Falcon would forcibly re-locate all of the remaining Rasalhaguers under their occupation to the FRR to prevent them from continuing to rebel and jack-up infrastructure and manufacturing. I am not familiar with x-men comics but I know that the x-fans hate Steve Rogers since he doesn’t care about the mutants? So I’m wondering if Tony is an asshole to his own team then how is he with the x-men/mutants?
Hate is a strong word, lets just say I really really really don't like him.
The X-Men comics don't paint Steve Rogers in a particularly positive light. Same with all the Avengers, actually. Its always been one of the things I disliked about Marvel as a whole, the fact that the X-Men (and mutants in general) were treated with such contempt and were considered "sub-human", whereas when we turn to people like the Avengers or the Fantastic Four or the Inhumans, they're treated like celebrities for basically having the same superpowers.
There's an important conversation to be had in there about cultural appropriation, given that the X-Men were an allegory for the Civil Rights movement back in the sixties. Yes, I know that the characters are all white, but look at it as if they were black for a moment, and you'll see how the other super teams in Marvel are allowed to get away with all the stuff everyone blames the mutants for.
The mutants and the X-Men have always represented the marginalized and the oppressed, which makes it interesting how so many of the other characters within Marvel, despite being the so-called "good guys", often overlook or even outright contribute to the cultural attitude towards mutants.
To circle back around to the point, Steve Rogers was never outright malignant to the X-Men, but he was, by his own admission, guilty of negligence when it came to mutant rights. That makes the whole situation worse because Steve is Captain America, the champion for "Truth, Justice and the American Way!" Although, the more you think about it, the more it makes sense, because Steve does fight for the little guy in the comics, but just like the United States government, some restrictions apparently apply.
As for Tony, I'm uncomfortable with him even being with a ten mile radius of any mutant. The X-Men: Red arc made me so nervous because he was working so closely with Jean and her team, and in it, he started doing what he does and trying to take advantage of Trinary, a new mutant with technopathic powers. There was also a moment with him where he made a comment about Atlantis or the oceans with Namor right there. The worst thing Tony would do is try to take advantage of a mutant for his own gain, which is pretty bad, but not as bad as it could be, because he's still "a hero" so he needs to be sympathetic. Him being racist toward mutants would nip that in the butt very quickly.
To be clear, like Steve, he's not outright malicious toward them, but he doesn't really consider them people, the same way the other Avengers never really considered the X-Men people, or at the very least, seen them as equals. Evidence of this is in the Avengers vs. X-Men arc, where the Phoenix Force was spotted moving toward Earth, and despite them never having any contact with it before, decided they knew better than the X-Men, despite the latter having interacted with it more than a couple of times. The resulting involvement of the Avengers caused the Phoenix Force to split and led to the creation of the Phoenix Force Five, who proceeded to whoop the Avengers collective asses and bring about world peace... until the Avengers decided they didn't like it and tried to stop them. If Tony had just kept his ego in check, none of that, from the destruction of Wakanda to Scott going Dark Phoenix, would have ever happened.

How would transgender people fit into an abo world? Say an alpha male realizes she’s a trans woman, but also doesn’t identify as an alpha. Would there be surgeries or hormones one could take to transition from one secondary gender to another? Also, in our world there are far more gender identities than male and female. Would people who don’t ID as a, b, or o be non-trinary? Would people try to shut them down for ‘going against their instincts/nature’? Are there intersex people by ABO standards?
Beautiful question anon! This one was incredibly fun to think through.
Biology
To start us off, let’s go through some omegaverse biology that you should take at surface level and not give much more thought. Just like in our world, the main hormonal difference between men and women is the differences in testosterone and estrogen levels. However, alphas have higher testosterone levels than the other two secondary genders, and omegas have higher estrogen levels. Omega males will still have higher testosterone levels than beta and omega females however, and alpha females will have higher estrogen levels than beta and alpha males. Basically, each primary and secondary gender combination has its own specific makeup of testosterone and estrogen levels that is unique to that combination.
Alphas and omegas have their own hormones though, which fuel their instincts, create their scents, and control their heat and rut cycles. Nodoreo (derived from the Latin words for “knot” and “father”) is the alpha specific hormone, and gestrix (derived from the Latin words for “carry” and “mother”) is the omega specific hormone. Attributes that are considered beta “instincts” are controlled by brain chemistry, not hormones, and their scent composition is determined by the lack of nodoreo/gestrix, so betas do not have a nodoreo/gestrix equivalent. Nodoreo and gestrix are made by the reproductive systems, just like testosterone and estrogen.
Labels:
Seeing as trans is Latin for “across,” the label transgender would only be used for people who transition from one primary gender to another, as across only really makes sense when referring to a two-way binary, as you can only cross from one point to another. For people who transition from one secondary gender to another, I propose the label vertogender, from the Latin word “verto,” which means swap. For people transitioning from one primary and secondary gender to another, I’d use the label ambogender, from the Latin word word “ambo,” meaning both.
Nonbinary would only apply to people who don’t identify as male or female. I love your suggestion of nontrinary for people who don’t identify as an alpha, beta, or omega, so we’ll use that. As for people who aren’t on the gender binary or trinary, they’d use the term genderless, mainly because I could not think of a more unique one.
Cisgender is tied to transgender linguistically, so it only applies to the primary gender binary as well. People who identify with their assigned secondary gender at birth would use the label cusgender, from the latin word “custodi,” meaning keep (opposite of swap). People who are both cisgender and cusgender would be called resgender, from the latin word “resto,” meaning stay.
Societal Treatment:
Amongst alphas and omegas, being transgender probably wouldn’t be seen as a big deal. Seeing as both alpha males and alpha females can impregnate and both omega males and omega females can get pregnant, changing from one to the other wouldn’t affect a person’s reproductive abilities or their societal status. It’d be seen as “odd” or a “waste of time” by bigots, but overall, it wouldn’t be treated like a big deal. Transgender betas wouldn’t be given this level of tolerance, and would be treated like transgender people in our world are. Because of this, there is some contention between transgender alphas/omegas and transgender betas, as their experiences with oppression can differ greatly from each other.
Vertogender people would be less socially accepted than transgender people. More emphasis would be placed on the gender trinary than the gender binary in an abo society, and they’d be ostracized for it, as there’s no way a vertogender can exist within the societal expectations assigned to them at birth.
Ambogender people would be given the same shit as transgender AND vertogender people, the poor souls.
Nonbinary, nontrinary, and genderless people would be given the same “that isn’t real! Everyone has a gender!” shit nonbinary people are given in our world. They’d definitely be given shit for “going against their nature.”
Transitioning:
For transgender people, hormones and surgeries would be similar to the ones that exist in the real world, though the higher levels of testosterone in alphas can make the transition from female to male easier, and the higher levels of estrogen in omegas means the opposite is true for them.
For vertogender people, it would depend on their assigned secondary gender at birth. If they were an omega/alpha, they’d be put through hormone therapy to bring them down to a beta’s hormonal levels first. Unlike with testosterone and estrogen, nodoreo and gestrix aren’t natural foils of each other; having one in your system will not lower the other, and will result in you displaying both alpha AND omega instincts, and, if you have enough of both, will kickstart a rut and heat cycle. Because of this fact, doctors give patients a synthetic hormone called anti-nodero/anti-gestrix to suppress their natural hormone production. Once the patient’s hormone levels are consistent with a beta, they’d start taking nodoreo/gestrix, and would receive genital surgery once their levels are consistent. After genital surgery, they’d stop taking anti-nodero/anti-gestrix, and seeing as their body wouldn’t have anywhere to produce it's natural nodoreo/gestrix from, their levels would remain consistent. If they were transitioning to beta, they’d be given genital surgery at that stage, and then slowly be taken off anti-nodero/anti-gestrix. If they were assigned beta at birth, they’d start taking nodoreo/getstrix immediately.
For ambogender people, they’d be brought to beta (if they weren’t there to start with) for testostorone/estrogen hormone therapy, as the absence of nodoreo/gestrix makes it easier to control. Then they’d go through the second stage of vertogender transitioning.
Nontrinary/genderless people that aren’t assigned beta at birth are quite likely to transition to beta, as dealing with heats/ruts and alpha/omega instincts can trigger intense dysphoria for them and beta hormonal levels will remove that problem.
Depending on how progressive the country is, gender transiting might be covered by insurance. However, like in the real world, most countries either make patients “prove” they have dysphoria to therapists in order for insurance to cover it, or count it as a cosmetic surgery. In real life, Japan requires trans people to be sterilized before they can transition, and it would probably do the same in an abo setting.
Intersex People:
In my omegaverse, female alphas have a retractable penis where a beta/omega female’s clit would be, and omega males have a cloaca that switches from the rectum to the vagina when they get aroused (see @fanndists biology drawing here if you’re understandably confused by that explanation).
Heres a list of everything I could think of that would be considered intersex in an ABO setting:
Atypical scents.
Alphas born without a knot.
Alphas who produce gestrix alongside nodoreo and have tame heats and omega instincts alongside their ruts and alpha instincts.
Beta males born with a knot.
Beta females born with a cloaca and a normal vaginal opening.
Betas who produce some nodoreo/gestrix and have tame heats/ruts and alpha/omega instincts.
Omega females born with both a vagina and a cloaca, resulting in two uteruses.
Omegas who produce nodoreo alongside gestrix and have tame ruts and alpha instincts alongside their heats and omega instincts.
Omega males born with a vaginal opening instead of/and a cloaca.
Dysphoria
Dysphoria would be the same for transgender/nonbinary people in an abo world as it is in ours, as there are distinct bodily distances between the primary genders amongst the secondary gender ones, though there would be a smaller divide between the primary genders within alphas and omegas thanks to similar fashion standards and societal expectations that could alleviate some dysphoria.
Amongst vertogender, ambogender, and nontrinary/genderless people who were assigned alpha/omega at birth, dysphoria is quite severe. Heats and ruts would be unbearably awful, and the instincts triggered by their nodoreo/gestrix levels would constantly be working against them. Vertogender and ambogender people who were assigned beta at birth would feel dysphoria from a lack of those instincts and a lack of heats/ruts. Misgendering would be a huge problem for all of them, as their scent would make people believe they’re a gender they aren’t. Gender transitioning is seen as a must-have for all of them, and they’d start as soon as they’re able too.
Gender-Confirming Products:
Real-life products like binders and packers would exist in an abo setting, but there’d be multiple products for non-cusgender people as well, including:
Scented scent blockers, which would suck up your natural scent and release a manufactured alpha/beta/omega scent of your choosing.
Custom perfumes/colognes based on your base scent so you can scent your pack(mate)s with a scent that fits you, as well as let you scent your den.
Synthetic knots for assigned beta/omega at birth males to make sex more comfortable before they transition.
Easily bought pills that stop knots from forming for assigned alphas at birth so they can go through a rut/have sex without popping one.
To wrap this up (because this is a BNHA blog after all), Tiger is OFtAM and has transitioned medically, and Magne is BMtBF and hasn’t.

Definitely go eat!! And yes this is way clearer now and sorry again that my just-woken-up brain went grrrrrrrrr on specific word choices before checking what else you and others in here said on the matter in more detail. (I still would like you to think about not using 'gender trinary' in future though; that genuinely did give me flashbacks to the people actually trying to invalidate nonbinary people by saying we are 'reinventing a binary lol' and made me extra suspicious of your own position initially before getting up the courage to check what else you and others had said and thankfully finding something much more good faith plus new information I do want to learn about.)
I did not know exorsexism was even a word until this post!! Thank you for introducing it. I'd like to learn more about it.
I think maybe less direct and more 'waffley' is actually the way to go here in future. The longer answer makes your point way better than your shorter one, and introduces a new term to potentially help us better express our experiences in ways floundering around with only older understanding of trans language just can't.
I actually missed them doing mathematical oppression equation. All I read was them poorly expressing that being nonbinary in a world that is just starting to accept specific performances of trans gender binary kind of sucks and people who don't have our experiences don't get that and cis people and some trans people treat us badly for it. Maybe I was projecting my own experiences onto their wording/still don't fully understand the discourse around transmisogny and transmisandry enough to know that people trying to do mathematical oppression equations with them in that way was even a thing. Sorry if so.
Regardless, we are now talking about how to better express these things with better existing language and use of that language so we don't do that, so I will try to shift my focus onto that now I understand what you were actually meaning to say because yeah, those are very good points. The last thing I want to do when trying to talk about shit I'm going through is erase what someone else is going through by accidentally playing oppression olympics (I do try to avoid that but sometimes it can still happen without better words to express it) and forgetting that perceived trans binary is also more complicated than general society want to believe and have the rest of us believe so people don't have to do the work to become more flexible in their understanding of all the gender expression possibilities in the world.
I would really like the transmedicalists and enbiphobic cis people to stop shitting on our existence. But I also don't want to shit on someone else's out of anger at those people.
Thank you for the opportunity to chat. I appreciate you both understanding why I got snippy at first and accepting me apologising then trying to focus on understanding your actual point I originally couldn't see from first impressions. I probably should have gone in to find more info first rather than taking it at face value, especially considering how many other complex discussions you have recorded in your masterpost alone which was why I followed you in the first place.
Exept binary trans women and trans men have binary privilege over NBs. There's a massive privilege with being in the Gender Binarity.
okay but you see how you're just creating a gender trinary right. like you see how you're just recreating "nonbinary is a third gender" rhetoric. right. tell me you understand

Y'all know that nonbinary literally just means not binary, right? Like, it's not the secret third gender
And nonbinary does not automatically mean agender.
Like, I'm afab. I was raised as a girl. I relate heavily to femininity. My gender isn't woman, but it's not inherently neutral. I am attracted to women and femininely aligned people. I identified as a lesbian before I explored my gender. I am allowed to call myself a lesbian. I won't stop being a lesbian because others decide they don't like it
And other people don't get to determine what terminology is and isn't suitable for us. Binary people don't get to tell us we can't use binary terms, or relate to binary experiences
I'm so sick of this attitude that binary people have to put us in tidy little boxes that match their views of what we are and aren't allowed to be. Stop trying to make the binary a trinary. It doesn't work that way
(This is based off of a culmination of experiences, not off of one specific thing. And the person I'm maddest at I saw on tiktok)

HOUSE OF X / POWERS OF X (TEN) # 4-6 OCTOBER - DECEMBER 2019 BY JONATHAN HICKMAN, PEPE LARRAZ, R. B. SILVA, DAVID CURIEL, MARTE GRACIA AND CLAYTON COWLES
SYNOPSIS (FROM WIKIPEDIA)

Part 7: "It Will Be Done" On Krakoa, X and Magneto contact Marvel Girl in order to keep tabs on the mission. Jean reveals that Archangel and Husk were killed in the explosion set off by Erasmus while Wolverine and Nightcrawler were injured. Deciding that they still need to finish the mission at any cost, Nightcrawler teleports Cyclops, Wolverine, and Mystique into strategic locations in order to destroy the control collars, with Nightcrawler himself taking the last one while Jean and M staying on the ship in order to maintain the connection to Krakoa.

Wolverine and Nightcrawler are successful in destroying the collars, but the ship is boarded by Orchis forces. Monet puts Jean into an escape pod and fires her away, staying on board in order to cover her escape and buy her time. She transforms into her Penance form and begins fighting the humans. Cyclops finds and disengages his control collar, but Mystique, having gotten turned around, is intercepted just as she finds hers and is killed as Doctor Gregor opens an airlock.

Desperate, the humans power-on the Mother Mold, despite not knowing whether it will be sane or not. X tells them to do whatever it takes to stop it. Wolverine and Nightcrawler volunteer to head to the final switch which is now in a vacuum. Nightcrawler teleports Wolverine onto the collar before being instantly evaporated by the Sun, while Wolverine's healing factor buys him enough time to carve through it before he too is evaporated as the now online Mother Mold hurtles into the Sun while raving maniacally via an Olympian allegory that the machines have found both man and mutant guilty and will destroy them both.

With the mission complete, Cyclops tries to find a space suit in order to get to Jean's pod so that they can try and make their way home. However, he is intercepted by Doctor Gregor who incapacitates and then executes him. The Sentinel drones that were mining on Mercury and thus could not reach the station in time to stop the X-Men, finally arrive, intercept Jean's pod, and work to kill her. As his proteges have seemingly all died at the hands of humans once again, X cries and vows "no more."

Part 8: "Something Sinister" Year One: X and Magneto travel to Bar Sinister to meet Mister Sinister. Encountering resistance from some of his clones, they're soon shown in to meet with Mister Sinister. They ask that he help them, using his knowledge of genetics to help build a database of mutant DNA. He declines, but he's soon shot dead by another Mister Sinister who one claiming to be the version of himself with the mutant gene. That version readily agrees to help the duo build their database, asking where he should start. Xavier then wipes the memory of their meeting from Mister Sinister's mind.

Year Ten: Several months ago, X and Cypher traveled to the sentient island of Krakoa. X brought Cypher deep into the island to meet the entity of Krakoa. Cypher conversed with Krakoa as he learned its language and some of its history. He revealed to X that Krakoa was once one island Okkara that was split into two islands named Arakko and Krakoa by the arrival of an enemy. This enemy sought to destroy the world and was only stopped by the arrival of Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen. Later, X telepathically revealed his plans to Cypher. He tasked Cypher with building an interface system on Krakoa to allow the mutants to communicate and use the island. An informational page reveals that Cypher succeeded, building a translation program so that mutants could interact with the island without Cypher's help. Additionally, Cypher helped create four systems, involving transit and monitoring, defense and observation, secondary and external systems, and overwatch and data analysis controlled by Sage, Black Tom Cassidy, Trinary, and Beast. There are rumors too that Forge built a large subterranean laboratory to help build biological machines as well.
Year One Thousand: The Librarian offers himself to the Phalanx for conversion and, hopefully, ascension. The Phalanx take the orb offered by the Librarian and assimilate it into themselves. The Librarian questions if he is within the Phalanx and the Phalanx reveal that he is. Surprised, the Librarian turns to his people and asks if that form is acceptable. The Phalanx suddenly transform into a large, spherical shape, confusing the assembled group. The group explains that the Phalanx only absorb machine intelligence they find useful and that the Librarian has created an empty vessel and copied himself over into it in the hopes of ascending as part of the Phalanx. They stand waiting and watching for the Phalanx to decide if the form is acceptable.
Part 9: "Society" On Krakoa, X, Magneto, Storm, and Polaris assemble somewhere. The four are joined by five other mutants: Eva Bell, Proteus, Hope Summers, Elixir, and Goldballs.

Magneto explains that the five mutants, collectively known as The Five, are able to revive deceased mutants. Goldballs creates unviable eggs, which Proteus in a Professor X husk makes viable using his powers. The preserved DNA of a mutant is then injected into the eggs and Elixir kick-starts cellular replication while Eva Bell uses her powers to accelerate their growth. Hope uses her powers to help the others operate at their peak and in unison allowing them to revive any deceased mutants.
Magneto further explains that X has been using Cerebro to copy the mind of any mutants found so that he could put their mind back in these empty shells as needed. X watches over several beings emerging from the eggs. "To me, my X-Men" he says as they crawl towards him. He places Cyclops' visor on him and watches as the group stands, thanking them for all they did.

Storm brings The Five and the revived mutants out, proudly announcing that The Five has allowed the nation of Krakoa to defeat death. She then introduces the revived mutants one by one to the assembled crowd, assuring the crowd that they are the mutants they've known. Off in the distance, X and Magneto watch the events and discuss how far they still have to go. They discuss the upcoming United Nations vote on Krakoa's inclusion into the organization. Magneto asks if Charles is worried, but Xavier simply says that today, he is filled with hope. The revived mutants enter the crowd as Storm calls them the "Heroes of Krakoa".

At the U.N. Headquarters, X, Beast, and Emma Frost celebrate with other ambassadors for gaining recognition of Krakoa as a nation. X and Emma telepathically discuss the events as Emma hints she manipulated the Russian ambassador to abstain from the vote. X thanks her for her work and promises that he has bold plans for her in the future. Informational pages reveal that over 100 countries accepted a trade deal with Krakoa and that several others are still negotiating trade deals. They also reveal that several countries rejected a trade deal for ideological and political reasons, including Iran, North Korea, Latveria, Russia, Brazil, and Honduras. Wakanda alone rejected a trade deal, stating that they did not need the mutant drugs, as did Azania, Canaan, and Kenya as the three countries are Wakandan economic protectorates.
Two days after the U.N. vote, X, Magneto, and Wolverine wait at several portals. Wolverine expresses his misgivings about the upcoming event, but X and Magneto assure him all will be alright. Soon after, several villainous mutants, including Mister Sinister, Sebastian Shaw, Exodus, Selene and Apocalypse arrive through the portals. Apocalypse in particular expresses satisfaction at arriving and Krakoa responds in the same way. Magneto and Xavier reveal that they have invited all mutants, even those who have fought against them in the past, to Krakoa, to form a society. The assembled villainous mutants agree to their terms, and Xavier shakes Apocalypse's hand, welcoming him and the others to their home.

Part 10: "For the Children" Year One: X meets with Forge and asks the latter to modify Cerebro to allow it to store copy mutants' minds in a main storage unit along with 4 backups. Forge claims the storage and power required are far beyond anything on Earth, but X reveals he has access to Shi'ar technology capable of overcoming that limitation. When Forge asks if he must redesign a new system or build it onto Cerebro, X leaves the decision in Forge's hands and simply asks "Are you--or are you not--going to build it for me?"
Year Ten: X and Magneto meet with Emma Frost in the Louvre in order to recruit the Hellfire Corporation to aid in the establishment of Krakoa. Emma believes the idea of establishing another mutant nation-state is a recipe for disaster, but she is ultimately convinced by seeing Krakoa first hand. X explains that they need the Hellfire Corporation's help in distributing Krakoa's exclusive drugs to the rest of the world which Emma compares to becoming "the East India Trading Company of mutantdom". X offers Emma two seats on Krakoa's council: one for her and another for Sebastian Shaw, whom X wishes Emma to recruit so that he can run black book operations into countries that reject Krakoa's sovereignty. Emma accepts on one condition: she will need an additional seat on the council. Later on, X sends a telepathic message worldwide summoning all mutants to Krakoa. The only one shown rejecting it is Namor, who claims that X doesn't truly believe that he is superior to the rest of humanity and tells him to come back when he "really means it."

Year One Thousand: The Phalanx accept the Librarian's offer and destroy the Elder. The Librarian asks Nimrod why they did this and Nimrod speculates that the Phalanx are part of a truly massive intelligence hosted in a network of black holes and that by adding other intelligence to their own they also utterly consume their physical form, which they will now do to Earth.
Part 11: "I Am Not Ashamed" One month prior to the events of the series, X, Magneto, and Moira meet in Moira's No-Space underneath Krakoa. Xavier uses Cerebro to speak to the entire world, informing them of Krakoa's miracle drugs, offering them to humanity in exchange for three things: Krakoa's inclusion in the United Nations, all mutants worldwide gaining Krakoan citizenship, and all mutant criminals gaining amnesty. His message is heard by everyone around the world, including normal humans around the world, members of the Avengers, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, and members of Orchis.

Information pages reveal that the Quiet Council of Krakoa includes 14 members: X, Magneto, Apocalypse, Mister Sinister, Exodus, Mystique, Sebastian Shaw, Emma Frost, Storm, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Cypher, and Krakoa itself. They are additionally assisted by the four Great Captains, the Captain Commander Cyclops, Gorgon, Bishop, and Magik, who lead in times of conflict.
In the present, the Quiet Council meets to design the laws of their nation. After much deliberation, the Council devises the first three laws of the nation of Krakoa: mutants must make other mutants, mutants shall not murder humans, and the land of Krakoa must be respected. The Council finds Sabretooth guilty of violating the second law and sentences him to exile deep within the bowels of Krakoa. Krakoa swallows him up as X laments the business of running a nation.

After the Council adjourns, they celebrate the birth of their new nation with the other residents of Krakoa as X and Magneto proudly look on.
Part 12: "House of X" Year One Thousand: The Librarian strolls through the Preserve, which is revealed to hold mutants, not baseline humans as previously hinted. He comes across Wolverine and Moira (who has survived via blood transfusions from the former for the past millennium) and informs them he is arranging for them to be taken off the planet before Ascension. It is revealed that the Librarian and his race are post-humans (homo novissima), humans who have used genetic engineering and technology to direct their own evolution and thus outnumber mutant kind. The Librarian explains that if Moira dies when the Phalanx destroy the Earth before Ascension, she can use her powers to stop them. However if she is left behind, the Dominion can use their consciousness spread throughout all of space and time to stop Moira instead. Wolverine kills the Librarian and then kills Moira so she can use her knowledge to stop the ascent of post-humanity. This is then revealed to be Moira's sixth life.

Year One: We again return to the moment of Moira allowing Xavier to read her mind and see all her lifetimes. Professor X is crushed by the experience and the revelation that no matter what happens, mutant-kind will always lose. Moira explains that the one constant throughout all her lives is that Professor X is a good person and that she had to break that part of him to ensure mutant survival.

Year Ten: X and Magneto meet Moira at her No-Space to inform her about the new Council. Moira is suspicious about Emma not having named her extra Council seat yet but X trusts her. X also informs Moira that in order to convince Mystique to join, they made a promise that they'd resurrect Destiny. Moira is opposed to "pre-cogs" in Krakoa since they will end up revealing mutants' ultimate fate and jeopardizing the project. But X and Magneto promise this will be different and that the time has come for Moira to step aside. X and Magneto renew their commitment to fight for mutant-kind. Magneto proclaims "I am not ashamed of what I am. Let's see them try to stop us this time."

REVIEW
I really hope this is used for the next X-Men movies.
Hickman brings a very specific flavor of sci-fi into the X-Men (and it really fits the property). And as all good Sci-Fi story, it makes you ponder the ramifications of moral and ethical decisions.
The future is never bright for the mutants. As I discussed in the first part of this review, I was under the impression that the eleventh life of Moira would become a new reality. I think it is there as a fail safe, just in case they need to undo everything. So in the new version of the tenth life, Xavier and Magneto were pretending to follow other dreams... or what exactly happened during all these years?
By the way, if the whole X-Men timeline is condensed in ten years, then the same applies to the rest of the Marvel Universe. This makes some sense, but you also have to consider babies that grew up (like Franklin Richards). It’s fine to me, but maybe a true believer may find some plot holes with it.
Xavier looks evil in this story, and to be honest, he was always kind of evil. But I think the moment when things really went kind of wrong was when the x-men died and were “copy/pasted”. Technically, these characters are dead. But can Logan really die like that?
The text pages propose some scenarios that shouldn’t happen, that we know will eventually happen, like making duplicates of living persons or people that are not really dead being duplicated (that one would happen a lot in the marvel universe). You can also feel the tension with a council that includes Mister Sinister, Apocalypse and Exodus.
Also, while this is great for X-Men fans, you have to wonder what it means for the rest of the Marvel Universe, where humans are still a thing to side with. This also brings the eternal question as to why mutants are hated and Avengers are not, something that doesn’t make much sense to me. It made sense coming out of the civil rights movement, but as the Marvel Universe grew older, it became harder to justify. Sure we can explain it away with other things like xenophobia or homophobia... but in the context of this universe it is still a weak element for all the plots around the x-men.
Nevertheless, I think this is a great X-Men story that focuses on what is really important. We all know this peace among mutants won’t last, but it is a nice experiment.
The art is quite good at times. There are some artistic decisions I am not following at the moment. Many times we see characters from the nose down only, and this is very obvious for Xavier, who we barely see without the helmet. Is there something we are not seeing?
There are enough plot seeds in these 12 issues to last a few years, so we can expect a lot exploration. I just hope that the expansion into the several new x-books doesn’t dilute the ideas.

I give this story a score of 9.

You know, if any of the New X-Men kids would just decide to turn against X-Men* and join Brotherhood, MFL or even Apocalypse...I wouldn’t really blame them. Let’s be honest, X-Men are outright abusive towards them. I mean how do you call the constant, repeated and outright systematic suppression and ridicule of their ambitions? How do you call the fact that the students will clearly never, ever, EVER be good enough in the eyes of the adults?
The same people will at one moment use X-teens when it is convenient but then turn around and talk how they’re children who should not be allowed on missions, diminishing all their experience? Kitty Pryde was fine first using kids in Phoenix Returns then lecturing Havok how only a horrible person would do that and then letting them be cannon fodder when Nate Grey and Legion went out of control. Jean Grey was fine having Gentle and Trinary, who is apparently close age to his, on the team in X-Men Red and then went on to talk how his generation are children who cannot do anything and need to shut up and let adults handle the threats. Makes it look like she treated Gentle more like a pet project than an actual teammate.
It doesn’t matter how many times they will be good enough, all of it will be undermined by a single time one of them wasn’t, applying that person’s failure to the entire group and thus breeding blame and resentment, creating conflicts and fracturing the group, ending friendships maybe even. Maybe that’s why we don’t see characters like Surge much? Noriko might have realized the deck is stacked against her and just stopped playing this game. And with time the kids who still try to impress the adults might simply drift away from her towards other “good” students like Hisako or Glob? How many kids who had been questioning their treatment had incidents like that time Magik dropped Anole off to a desert happen until they learned to not question their teachers? On how many the teachers just made an opinion they’re bad and seen everything they do as proof they were right all along, regardless of the context, like they do with Hellion?
Hell, in this light even the supposed favoritism shown laura or Quentin looks manipulative. Adults selecting those this system wouldn’t work on and giving them a carrot on a string - Laura a sense of purpose and usefulness she might not even be subconsciously aware she needs, Quentin just enough leverage he won’t cause actual trouble (while more or less giving up on making him improve or dumping this responsibility on people he actually comes to care about).
I don’t think this is something adults do on purpose But it becomes more and more apparent that the way they run the school is increasingly getting more and more toxic and at this rate, it’s only a matter of time until someone snaps. You snub your cub too many times, you just might feel its bite, as they say. Sooner or later someone is gonna lash out, probably violently, or walk away or get radicalized by this mole or another. And because the narrative always sides with the adults, “real” X-Men will just say they were right that kid is no good all along and the book will expect us to nod in agreement.
@newx-menfan what do you think
* - Might be already happening, I heard some rumors that Elixir joined Magneto? Can anyone confirm?

Yes I agree that a lot of straight men treat lesbians with disrespect, I’m not discounting that in any way. Why is it that gay men are allowed to define their sexuality off of who they love but lesbians have to define theirs off of who they hate? Wouldn’t it center men less if it was just about loving women? Again I understand why a lot of lesbians hate men, and I’m not forcing lesbians to date lesboys. I’m just talking about my own experiences. “Straight women don’t treat gay men the same way straight women treat lesbians” but they do, plenty of straight women fetishize gay men, it’s not an uncommon thing. If you want to define lesbian as “only being attracted to women and non binary people” for yourself you are free to do that, my issue is that you’re trying to force others to also use that definition when they aren’t comfortable with it. Also non binary isn’t a third gender, it’s not just “women lite”. Gender isn’t as simple as binaries or trinaries, it’s complex and it’s a spectrum. Some non-binary people are men, some women are men. In your attempt to get back at men you’re hurting your own community, multigender lesbians wont stop existing just because you don’t understand it. Again if you don’t want to call your identity an umbrella term that is perfectly fine, the issue is you forcing that on others. Yes I know there are different labels that others think would better fit my identity, but I’m not going to change my whole identity just to make someone else happy. You can’t push multigender lesbians out of the community because you don’t like them, honestly it’s not up to you. Multigender lesbians have always existed and will continue to exist.
Y’know sometimes I just wish I was a girl gay boy instead of a boy gay girl, like when you ask gay men what they love about being gay they talk about how much they love other men and all the cute dates they’ve been on; meanwhile if you ask lesbians (specifically cis lesbians) what they love about being gay they talk about how much they hate men and how they’re so glad they’re not attracted to them. While I get being traumatized by men and I respect that some lesbians just don’t like men, it’s really alienating to always hear those sentiments. I questioning my identity a lot and so far the only label that describes it is mspec lesboy but I can never feel confident telling others how I identify because so many lesbians only talk about how much they hate men.
#also you know you could’ve just left me alone#you didn’t need to just randomly start discourse#it’s kinda rude ngl#plus you don’t really know what you’re talking about#you just came into a personal post and started attacking my identity#and yet people are surprised that I feel alienated by cis lesbians#you kinda proved my point just with this response#anyways moral of the story#just let people exist#lesboy#lesbian
