I’m back with my swap au stuff! I decided to redesign the whole thing.

So here’s my swap Vox. I made his outfit more interesting and stuff.

My reasonings for this design, references and stuff.

Vox’s tv head is based off a 1970s tv. Although it’s not exactly accurate.

He doesn’t get upgrades as he isn’t really trying to stay as current as original Vox is.

He still has his messed up antenna since he still had that fight with Alastor all those years ago. Although this time Alastor won.

I gave him higher heels because I headcannon that vox used to be shorter than Alastor but got upgrades to be the same height. But since in the swap au he doesn’t get these upgrades meaning he’s still shorter. He wears heels to be taller.

He always has that jagged part on his mouth because it’s sort of like a scar.

He also disappeared for 7 years just like original Alastor. My swap Alastor used that time to grow his own power.

I’m not changing sexuality or ships. Which means Vox is still bisexual.

He has a sort of weird obsession with alastor but tries to mask it as a hatred rather than whatever situation he has going on. Alastor has an obsession with Vox but it’s in a way where’s it’s because he absolutely hates him.

I like aroace Alastor :)

Has never told anyone about his true identity as he wanted a new start and make up for being tricked by the Seraphim.

So with my Hazbin Hotel Swap AU Pilot already written, I figure I share the titles and synopsis of Season 1! Note that unlike the show, this season is for the purpose to getting to know the characters better and help out the pacing before the more serious stuff happens. So here it is.

Close ups and some characters' information

- Only the roles are swapped so their personalities stay mostly the same, but there will be some small personality changes to better fit the plot

- Most relationships will remain the same (eg: HuskerDusk, Chaggie will still be canon)

- Lute and Emily may develop a romantic relationship in the future, but for now they are just friends (Emily considers Lute a friend while Lute mainly uses Emily so she can get back into Heaven)

Alright the almighty vees have entered the ring! As already stated the swaps here are,

Vox = Velvette

Velvette = Valentino

Valentino = Vox

Some quick lore,

Velvette and Vaggie have the same relationship as Val and Angel do in the show. She found Vaggie not too long after her fall and took advantage of her vulnerable state. At first, Vel thought vaggie was just some more fresh demon meat. But then (by means I don't entirely have figured out yet) she finds out vaggie was an angel, and not only that, but an exorcist. This leads to more emotional abuse and even blackmail.

On the same note, Valentino and Anthony now share a similar rivalry that Vox and Alastor do in the show. This is another blury spot, but right now, I'm thinking that a while ago, Val tried to get Anthony to work with him. Maybe because he had strong ties to the mafia, and Val wanted to expand his own power through this. Anthony said no, and "Now he's pissy, that's the tea." I also want to state that Anthony isn't ,or ever was, an overload. He's just a powerful demon from a powerful family.

Now Vox (my favorite of the vees) instead of running hell's tech, he now focuses more on social media and spreading the Vees influence through that. I also want him to have the same "changes outfits in every new scene," like vellvette does. Also, because the radio demon still existed, there was a time when Alastor was close with Vox. Right now, we don't have any solid idea on whatever happened between the two canonicaly. But for the sake of this AU, let's say they met in the 50's, became pals, rose to the top of hell, then Alastor began to change (working on that lore rn) and left.

This drawing also took me the longest simply because I was continually unhappy with it. But!!! We got there eventually dhdhh. Also, just went ahead and did solid line and color cause why not.

the idea of a radiostatic bodyswap episode is so funny to me because alastor would be having a true body horror moment, being forced to learn to function in the shell of a man and a product he's spent decades detesting with every ounce of regret he can muster, and vox would just be falling over himself in joy to have a nose again

Things about Swap AU!RadioStatic

-Instead of kisses, they share forehead boops as they figured it would be awkward and weird if they actually tried kissing.

-They mostly prefer going out on dates that involves going to places for dinner or a picnic.

-Vox enjoys the little songs and dances Alastor would do sometimes, even joining in on some of them.

-Sometimes when laying together, Vox pets behind Alastor's ears as it always calms him down when in distress or overwhelmed.

-Alastor is the little spoon while Vox is the big spoon
