details this is actually a piece i did 2 years ago, but i'd been so bothered by how i drew cress' face i did a partial repaint. i am more satisfied with it now!

the ink tank is based on concept art. i'd always been fascinated by how the s1 ink tank looks the way it does because the idea is that you'd be pulling splat bombs out the top of it, and how there are concepts in the s2 artbook for how that could look with other sub weapons.
