hi kate. I told you before I have severe depression and I cant watch sad anime now I find most of my favorite anime contain an element of sadness. and it has become annoying. do you have any advice to give me in this regard?

Hi Anon!

Firstly, I'm sorry, and you're not bothering. It's hard to find stories that don't have any elements of sadness because it's such a human experience. Sadly (heh) none of us get to get through without some sadness or troubles, and stories usually reflect that.

That said, I do know what you mean by feel-good stories. A feel-good tale I recently watched was My Happy Marriage. It does start off sad (it's a Cinderella type story) but clearly is a feel-good show from the start despite that, and there are shows like YuYu Hakusho or DragonBallZ that are more on the "feel good" side. And lord knows we need these as opposed to heavy stuff all the time.

If anyone has other "feel good" recommendations for Anon, please chime in!
