i'm back on my omega jason bullshit, because he's near and dear to my heart

so, so what if when jason's living on the streets he one day finds a hoodie, a sweater, something that'll keep him warm now that the days are getting colder and his own clothes are becoming more threadbare. and this sweater, i'm gonna go with sweater, is made of genuine cashmere wool. jason doesn't know that, but it feels incredible against his skin and it's warm without being uncomfortable.

it also smells incredible, it smells of comfort and safety and laughter, jason doesn't know how a sweater can do that, but it does and it calms something inside him that has been restless since he got on the streets.

he knows that he stole it, it was on a bench in the park near the library and he knows that one of the people milling around probably came back to the bench to grab their sweater only to find an empty bench. but it had called to him, he had been looking through the trash can next to the bench to see if there was some food, but then that smell had hit his nose and suddenly he had the sweater in his grime covered hands and it felt like the best thing he had ever touched. he couldn't put it back after that. it was getting colder and he was shivering more and more during the night, and they could afford to buy a new sweater couldn't they? but he couldn't so it would be alright if he just took it, right?

so jason brings back the sweater and pulls it on and immediately feels settled, even in the small nook he found that's barely hidden from sight.

and then not long after batman finds jason jacking the tires off of the batmobile, and he's taken by surprise not only by the gumption of this kid but also because the kid is wearing a sweater he knows dick lost when hanging out with barbara a few weeks back.

even more so when jason gets close enough to hit him and he gets a whiff of two scents so perfectly intertwined that if he didn't know one of them intimately he would've just passed it off as the kid's own scent.

that can only mean one thing - a true match

Batman: No, he fell asleep in the batmobile. I wanted to wake him up, but—

Robin!Damian yawned loudly, smacking his lips, staying asleep. Batman looked at his son with a smile of fatherly adoration.

Batman (sheepishly): Hmm.. maybe. He's just so little.

Jim chuckled quietly, nodding in agreement.

Batman: Don't tell anyone I'm trying not to cry right now.

Green Arrow handed Lian his credit card. She eagerly purchased the items she needed, then passed him the card back.

Lian: Done! And I only spent two hundred. Thank you, love ya, grandpa.

Green Arrow: And I love you too. Now go ahead and play.

Lian gave her grandfather a hug, then scurried off while playing Roblox on her phone. Batman stared at him, shocked.

Batman: You let her spend two hundred real dollars on in-game currency?

Green Arrow: Yes. I'm rich, and she's my granddaughter. Do you not spoil— Oh, right, you have no grandkids.

Green Arrow chuckled, texting on his phone. Batman was too stunned to respond, causing the other Justice League members to find amusement in the verbal takedown.

Vixen: He actually one-upped you. Today's going to be a good day.

Batman was unable to respond, since technically Green Arrow was in the right.

Superman (laughing): Oh my gosh, you have nothing to say.

Batman crossed his arms, annoyed. Wonder Woman and Black Canary laughed loudly at the Dark Knight being silenced.

Jon (clapping): He won an argument by having a grandchild. I love that. Bravo.

I'm trying to be nicer to myself about my drawings so I will say that despite the weird idea this was a lot of fun to make & I want to make more. I actually enjoyed using my tablet for once, and I'm actually starting to like how my art style looks on it. I actually liked it enough to even put a signature on it. (I hope that doesn't intrude too much on the pic)

I love each one of them and I must make more.

It took 131 pulls (and most of my savings 😭 I hope your pulls went better than mine!) but he finally came home! 🥹

I was on a discord call with some friends and screen sharing as I did my pulls, and discord doesn't allow recording for whatever reason.. so I didn't get a screenshot of emo-Min's arrival or leveling him up 🥲 but above are his final stats after boosting him up as best as I can!

I've been running through his menu lines, and a lot of them are about Haibara 😭 his little smile in the gifs above are because he's excited about a new bakery opening!! Bless him lol

He's very fun! he provides a lot of decent boosts to the team and hits pretty hard himself! :D his animations are really cool too! I'll make some gifs for those at some point :)
