I would just like to take a moment to acknowledge how CRAZY it is that Cas broke Dean's trust in 6x20, "The Man Who Would Be King"
Dean "trust issues" Winchester.
Dean "literally had no friends or relationships that weren't his dad's first in the first three or four seasons besides one night stands because 'in this line of work, we can't have relationships hold us back'" Winchester.
Dean "This is your problem, Dean. You have no faith." Winchester.
Dean who has HORRIBLE, childhood trauma induced trust issues and one of his defining problems is that he has no faith. He GOT faith. He GOT trust. He MADE it. And he built that. Just to put it all into Cas and believing him.
And Cas is the one who broke it.
The teary-eyed looks in both of their eyes are gonna haunt me for days.
#they are so horrible#I'm firmly on Cas' side#I totally get why Dean is so upset#and he is absolutely justified and valid in his feelings#but what was Cas supposed to do??#his two choices were literally to stop raphael and therefore stop the apocalypse and to do that he had to open purgatory#or to let the apocalypse happen again#the APOCALYPSE#where everything from hell comes out#so his choice was literally the apocalypse or purgatory#which lets us have the fun philosophical debate of which is worse#the mostly humans and a few monsters but mostly humans from hell#or the monsters from purgatory#so which is worse:#humans or monsters?#it's such a fun debate to have :)#or i'm just a nerd#both of those are two actually lol#two things can and should coexist#but i need to stop rambling in the tags#this should've been two posts but it's not :)#because tags feel so less serious and therefore less pressure#anyway#the man who would be king brainrot thoughts#supernatural#spn#spn season 6#spn 6x20#the man who would be king#destiel

Worked out my idea of the descending rings of Hell in my hashbrown motel rewrite/Hotel Purgatorium!! There’s a transcript under the cut!
I reworked the idea of “sinners only ending up in pride” to be that sinners can end up in other rings, but they get worse and worse as they go down as their crimes in life/punishments get worse. They’re confined to the ring they’re sentenced to and can’t leave, but if a sinner from a higher ring attempts to go down and come back up, they become instantly corrupted and lose their soul as they become a mindless monster. Like how oceanic pressure gives you the bends??? (Also, Most sinners wind up in pride because as it turns out, pride is the root of most of humanity’s sin.)
Transcript! I based the ideas loosely off of hverse and mostly off of Dante’s inferno
Pride- 1st Layer
- ruled by Lucifer
- A noisy smoggy cityscape, overcrowded and full of the worst parts of humanity + civilization over the last few centuries. Most souls end up here!
Lust- 2nd Layer
- ruled by Asmodeus
- A “winter wonderland,” but more befitting of “bleak ice kingdom.” Cold, bitter, and only warm within buildings made by Hellborns. Very Blustery. Pun not intended.
Gluttony- 3rd Layer
- ruled by Beelzebub
- An oppressively humid, sticky rainforest infested with insects and torrential hot rain.
Greed- 4th Layer
- ruled by Mammon
- Rocky, Craggy, Rough. A barren mountainous “mining town” where nothing grows and shiny minerals aplenty drive sinners mad.
Envy- 5th Layer
- ruled by Leviathan
- The snow runoff from Lust is melted down into a deep dark pressured ocean with bioluminescent and unusual hellborns.
Sloth- 6th Layer
- ruled by Belphegor
- Made of obsidian, fungus and quicksand. Everything moves slowly, fog lines the streets. Sinners float along the tar rivers.
Wrath- 7th layer
- ruled by Satan
- The typical idea of hell- full of fire and lava and hate. This is the worst place you can end up.

Follow You || Chapter One || Eyeless Jack
syn:Eyeless Jack has found himself becoming more isolated over the years, distancing himself from everyone and everything. He considers himself an unforgivable monster, one that shouldn’t be a burden to anyone else. After leaving Slender’s mansion and wondering aimlessly through the woods, he stumbles upon a drunken girl in danger. After saving you, he finds himself completely infatuated with you. You’re strikingly similar to him, even attending his old college. He battles an internal debate as he falls for you, deciding whether or not to burden you by staying. While Jack fights his internal turmoil, old enemies from an all too familiar college come out to play. Will Jack be able to defeat his oldest enemy? Will he be able to overcome his self conscious fears to save you? You’d better hope so, since the cult for Chernabog is back and you seem like the perfect sacrifice.

chapter two is here
The sun was too mother fucking bright.
You groaned, squinting in disgust at the suns rays beaming through the window. Your thoughts were cloudy, your mind in a dazed state. Your vision began to settle, your heart racing as the gears in your brain began turning. You didn’t recognize your surroundings at all. With your heart thudding against your chest you sat up, alarmed as you climbed out of the bed. Panicked, you looked down at your body. Thankfully you were still fully clothed, bandages covering your sore knees. What the hell did you get yourself into? You swallowed as your bare feet hit the floor, those bandaged as well. You were surprised to realize you weren’t being physically restrained, the bed you were laying on quite neat compared to the rest of the room.
Unsurely you looked around, grabbing a nearby lamp. It looked questionable, possibly over a few decades old. You yanked the cord out of the wall, bracing yourself as you stepped towards the bedroom door. Your escape was interrupted, Jack happening to walk in at the same time. He could hear your heart racing a mile away, so naturally he came to check on you. You stared up at him in terror, your eyes darting back and forth as you stared up at the ominous black empty holes of his mask. Jack awkwardly cleared his throat, his eyebrows raising at the sight of your knuckles turning white from gripping the lamp so hard. “Hello, how are you feeling?” He asked, trying his hardest to keep his voice even. You looked absolutely bewildered and although the situation not ideal, Jack couldn’t place why. “How am I feeling? What the fuck is this? Who the fuck are you?” You hissed.
Jack raised an eyebrow under his mask at the sight of you bouncing your weight back and forth on each foot as you stared at him defensively. You appeared to be ready to attack, although Jacks hands were shoved in his hoodie pocket. “My name is Jack. You passed out drunk in the forest last night. I brought you to my cabin to ensure you wouldn’t be devoured by local coyotes,” He answered honestly. Your face softened for a moment, your grip on the lamp loosening. Jack tilted his head to the side as he pointed at the lamp. “Would you mind putting that down? Its quite sentimental to me,” He asked. Sentimentality meant a lot to humans. In this instance it was a thorn in his side if it was broken and he needed to get another. The last thing he desired was to live off of candlelight. You slowly set down the lamp, your gaze fierce as you refused to look away from Jack.
“Don’t you think it’s kinda creepy and off putting to live in the middle of the woods and wear that mask?” You asked bluntly. Jack couldn’t quite understand why this was your question. You were a lot more feisty and logical sober. “Dont you find it quite unsafe to become so intoxicated you wander into forest miles away from civilization?” He quipped, matching your energy. This seemed to humble you a bit, your shoulders dropping as you crossed your arms. “You’ve never been to a Mark Wilder party I assume. Everyone gets trashed. I followed some guy into the woods, I don’t remember where he went. I think I was trying to follow him or something,” You explained. While intelligent you seemed to lack ‘street smarts’. You placed your hand on your head, rubbing your temple. Your head was relentlessly pounding, your eyes squeezing shut. Jack wondered if you felt as awkward as he did.
“Would you like tylenol? I have some down in the kitchen,” Jack offered. You rubbed your eyes, overwhelmed. “Wait so i’m not like, trapped here or anything?” You questioned. Jack turned around, anticipating you to follow him. Curiously you did so, ignoring the stinging from the wounds that rubbed against the bandages. You followed him down a dusty staircase, each wooden slab creaking under your weight. You couldn’t help but let your eyes wander around, noticing the mountains of dust that coated the paintings that covered the walls. “This is your cabin?” You asked slowly. Jack could hear the disbelief and fear lacing your words. You followed closely behind Jack as he turned into the tiny kitchen. To your dismay it looked like it hadn’t been used in ages, the stove rusted and fridge humming so loud you anticipated it to explode. “Mostly. I visit often, but never stay for long,” Jack answered honestly. His explanation may have been vague, but he couldn’t violate too many of The Operators rules.
He handed you a bottle of tylenol as well as a bottle of water. Both of which he had stolen from a nearby gas station before the sun came up. Jack had studied alcohol and its affects to the human body. While he couldn’t become intoxicated as easily, he was forced to study it due to Masky’s temporarily alcoholism. He had stolen saltine crackers (just a sleeve, not the whole box), a bottle of water, and tylenol. The cabin was just lucky enough to have faint electricity, he knew anything a fragile human girl would need would not be readily available. Hesitantly you took the bottle, satisfied to see it had been unopened. You popped two of the pain killers like candy, chugging the bottle of water. You leaned against the rusted dishwasher, opening the sleeve of crackers. “So, aren’t you going to ask me my name or anything?” You asked. You weren’t buying the whole savior act. You weren’t aware Jack wasn’t attempting to sell you any sort of act. Underneath his mask he was feeling extremely awkward, unsure how to interact with you.
With each passing second he could hear your heart beat, the blood flowing through your veins. It became hard for him to focus, the demon thrilled you decided to begin a civil conversation. “I don’t need to. Your backpack provided that for me,” Jack explained. He reached over the counter, grabbing your backpack from a dusty bar stool. Dust particles floated carelessly in the air as he held it up. Your name had been stitched onto the front pocket, courtesy of your mother. You felt heat flush to your cheeks, mumbling a thanks as you took it from him. Popping a cracker into your mouth you grabbed his wrist, stopping him from concealing his hand. Jack froze under your warm touch, your eyes curiously examining his skin. “Argryia,” He stated dryly. He silently hoped you wouldn’t recall your own theory. Your eyes seemed to flicker at the word, a sense of recognition igniting them. “That’s absurdly unlucky. Do you know how rare that is?” You asked curiously. It was as if your interest had peeked, Jack analyzing you as you studied the color of his hand.
“All too well unfortunately,” Jack responded. He watched you stroke your thumb over the harshness of his skin, before pulling away. “Well if it makes you feel any better I understand the whole cabin in the woods mask thing now,” You sighed, resuming your attention back to the bottle of water. Jack was mesmerized as he watched you gulp down the bottle as if you were dying of thirst. “If I may ask, how do you know what argryia is?” He asked you. It was irresponsible for him to engage in anything beyond a mild conversation with you. Slender would be far from happy if he found out. You swallowed the cracker you were nibbling on, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand. “I’m a med student at Harvard. I’m gonna be a doctor some day,” You explained, taking another sip of your water. Jacks interest was peaked. You were attending the same university he did ages ago for an identical major. “Speaking of medicine, how did you bandage me up so well? If I didn’t know any better i’d think you were a doctor yourself,” You said. Jack couldn’t help but feel his heart skip a beat at your flattery.
“Medicine is my pride and joy. I’ve studied it for years,” He answered. While he was answering honestly he was beating around the bush. While you seemed harmless, he knew humans were prone to gossip. Sharing stories with one another formed stronger bonds. He had no doubt this would be one you would be sharing. “Well Dr.Jack, as fun as this has been I think it’s time for me to bounce,” You say, shoving your backpack over your shoulders. Jack anxiously followed behind you as you turned towards the front door. “Do you know how to get back?” He asked unsurely. Maybe he was hovering too heavily, but he felt an odd urge to look after you. The sun may have provided some form of a safety net, but Jack knew what creatures lurked in these woods. One wrong turn and you could cross the threshold into Slender’s forest, where The Rake would have a field day with you. You dug into your backpack, taking out a cracked iphone. It was on a smooth five percent, multiple missed calls and text on your lockscreen. “I have GPS, i’ll be fine,” You assured him.
You stepped onto the porch, the wood rotting from age. You looked over your shoulder at the demon, his eye sockets wide. “Thank you for everything Jack, i’ll see you later!” You said cheerfully, biting into another cracker before stepping down onto the forest floor. Jack tried not to hover too much, truly. He was sure you were uneasy from being in a cabin with a stranger. Even if his intentions were pure, he knew what monsters lurked in the shadows that loved to prey on a pretty face like yours. So Jack said nothing, waving goodbye as you traveled into the forest alone. Jack would’ve loved for that to have been the end of it. He would’ve thought that he would never see you again, allowing you to be on your way. That’s how it should’ve gone.
But it didn’t.
As stealthy as he could he followed you, from a safe distance of course. You appeared to be studying your phone, the sun rays blocking out whatever was on your screen. Jack opted to use the trees above as leverage, jumping from each branch with ease. The crunching of the previously fallen leaf’s would be a dead giveaway, traveling by tall trees much safer as to not be caught. From what Jack could tell you were blissfully oblivious as you traveled, carelessly heading north. Jack sighed as he watched you. Did humans have no sense of awareness at all? Although he didn’t expect you to catch him following you, he did expect you to look around every once in a while. Instead your attention was glued to your phone, as a majority of humans were. He knew most of them spent their time focused on their cellar device but he couldn’t help but question how any humans had made it this far if this was the base level of survival skills. He silently trailed behind you, attempting to not stay on one tree branch for too long. If he did the leafs were bound to fall, exposing him.
Jack wasn’t proud of himself for following you. If anything your hesitance to trust him was proven correct based on his behavior. Although the demon inside of him was purring with satisfaction of stalking, Jack fought his primal urges internally. He knew his intentions were pure, even if the demon lurking in the depths of his being craved something more sinister. Jack was pleasantly surprised to find that you had found your way back to civilization, the Harvard campus attached to these woods. He was slightly impressed that a human of your stature had traveled miles without complaint or sign of slowing down. He managed a small smile as he watched you join the hoards of students, disappearing in the waves of students traveling every which direction. The sounds of voices, heartbeats, and pumping blood began to feel overwhelming, causing the demon to turn away.
Slender wouldn’t be happy, he knew that. But he felt a sense of ease for the first time in a long time. He had spent his time doing something good. Something morally good. Something impactful. Meaningful even. He walked back the rest of the way, a certain weight slightly lifted off of his shoulders as he strolled. He could feel his stomach growl, the demon cracking his neck at the sound. For once his hunger wasn’t the priority, but an afterthought. He gleamed with a sense of pride as he made it back to the cabin, making sure he had locked it. Slender had multiple run down cabins littered throughout the nearby forest, just in case a creep or proxy was injured. It was meant to look run down and abandoned, so no nosy humans would investigate. Jack’s footsteps echoed throughout the hollow cabin as he checked the back door, a surprise gasp escaping his lips. He had nearly tripped over your heels, his eye sockets widening.
Shit.
Well, if Slender was pissed now he knew this would send him into a fit of rage. Jack didn’t know much about fashion but your shoes looked expensive, even if he didn’t recognize the name brand. He was going to return them to you, putting his and all the creeps' risk of exposure on the line. He couldn’t describe the feeling, but he had an odd sense of relief wash over him knowing he would see you again.

ASK: ahhh i’m obsessed w ur adler headcanons!! pretty pretty plsss could we have more soft!adler headcanons? or maybe a few headcanons for how adler might react to realising he’s slowly falling for bell!reader before they discover the brainwash twist?? 🥺👉👈 either way just wanna express my appreciation for how you characterise him!! <3
Author's Note: Tehe back at it idk. This was an ask I got months ago but just had incredibly bad writer's and art block. Trying to get those creative juices flowing again! Thank you so much for the ask and the kind comments anon. I really really appreciate it. Hope you enjoy! <3 (your ask disappeared after i put it into Tumblr drafts??)
More Soft!Adler Headcanons:
In the morning before work, Russell wakes up a little earlier than you to spend some more time on his appearance. You see him shaving his few day old stubble and decide to help him out, taking the razor. He’d study your facial expression as you concentrate on going round each jagged edge of his scar, making sure to not cut him. His blue eyes tracing every little mark on your face, absolutely in awe of how beautiful you are even when you furrow your brows and he’d gently push a strand or two of hair out the way that had fallen over your eye. As you rinse the blade under the tap, he’d grab your chin and peck your lips, getting the taste of shaving foam in your mouth and you two would laugh about it.
I can imagine in Winter, Russell and his s/o ordering hot chocolate with some cream on top/coffee, walking and talking. When he notices your cream/foam moustache, he chuckles to himself but you pay it no mind, thinking it was his response to something you said. But he chuckles again and you question him. -> “Oh uh nothing. You just uh…got a little um...hold on.” He’d lean in and lick your lips before planting a kiss on them and leaning back to look at you with a smile, leaving you dumbfounded.
Witty jokes and comments that make you think how the hell did he come up with that one are definitely on the menu. Russell will sometimes randomly just burst into Russian or German mode and will try and teach you some words and jokes too. Mostly the swear words because everybody wants to know the swear words
Adler and his fellow operatives were chatting one day in public with their gear on as they were on their way back to a hotel for the night before their early morning flight but the sight of kids running up to him caught his eye. They asked him questions, the usual ones, the story behind the scar and what he does for a living. At first, he wasn’t exactly the warmest towards them but when one of the kids begged him to pick them up, he grumbled and gave in, watching them just take his sunglasses and the other asking if they could touch the scar, earning a smile from him. Him an his group sat down and spent some time kicking a ball around and taking the time out for the children before they had to head back. Adler gave them all fistbumps and bent down to plant a cap on one of their heads with a wink and a side smile -> “Keep it. I don’t need it, kid.”
Slowly falling for Bell!Reader Headcanons: Part 1
Russell Adler didn’t think it was possible to be honest. Him falling for another person. Always thought of himself as a lone wolf after his divorce. Never took any interest in dates or anything because he simply didn’t have the time and partly due to a fear of being hurt again that he refused to acknowledge
Yet he found himself weirdly drawn to you. Maybe it was a sick and twisted fantasy of his, the visage of him being a human, cracking with every fleeting touch. The true monster in him seeping out, revealing his true colours
When he picked you up and out of the SUV in Trabzon, he felt nothing. Perhaps some sense of accomplishment as he was one step closer to locating the man he’d been chasing for 13 years but nothing more. As the initial interrogations continued in a secure location and your balaclava was yanked off by his own hands, a part of him knew he’d get attached when he saw you, in your rawest form but he quickly pushed that thought away as fast as it appeared in his mind. But it’d creep up every now and then during the experimentation as he’d speak into the microphone and exhale the smoke through his nose as he stared at you through the glass, watching you carefully before dipping his head as he hears you let out a gut-wrenching scream and struggle in the chair, putting out his cigarette and calling it a day.
He’d catch a whiff of your perfume nearby to where he was working in the safehouse. The perfume on your wrists stayed behind on the desk after your leaned over to pass him something or rested your forearms on the desk. The subtle scent of your shampoo and body wash in the bathroom, lingering in the air. He’d inhale deeply and close his eyes, imagining you as his head resting on the back of his chair for a few moments before he stopped himself and his eyes snapped open, making sure nobody was nearby as if he was scared someone could read his thoughts.
A candle you’d left on for him as he worked late into the night once was never forgotten. Adler would relight it to remind himself of you when you were gone on a mission with the others, telling himself it’s just because it smells nice.
A Brick in the Wall: As Bell took photos of Kraus, Russell would glance over at her, watch you paying attention, adjusting the camera lens, sticking your tongue out as the camera shutter clicked and a small smile would creep onto his lips before he looked away and cleared his throat, giving you your next order. God, what was he thinking?
Some things however were just pure protective instinct. Like grabbing your forearm to pull you away from the railing as you stepped up onto to look over the edge of a balcony at night. He needed you alive for the mission of course, no other reason
Or when he’d tuck his extra magazines into your ammo packs and make sure all your straps and harness were tight enough. Or even holding his arm out and across your chest when he had to hit the brakes hard while driving with a gentle you okay? after a few beats of silence
Or when he’d bought some food and you were out of it after an MK-Ultra session during the early days and he’d give you a little extra without a word to keep your strength up, looking into your eyes briefly as you cried but the guilt was creeping up on him and he’d leave before you sobbed. He’d close the door just as you burst into tears, his hand on the doorknob behind him and he’d sigh deeply, his eyes shut, trying to compose himself before walking off to find Park. They’re just a red. He’d remind himself constantly. But just a kid too…
Desperate Measures: As Belikov let the two of you in and you took out the guards and changed into their uniforms, he couldn’t help but sneak a few glances. Before you walked up the stairs, he stopped you and checked you over, head to toe, the expression on his face neutral but his mind was in overdrive. Russell took a step closer and his hands found the bottom of your skirt and tugged on it, pulling it down so it revealed less. A single nod and his lips a thin line before he turned and walked off. He refused to admit he didn’t want anyone looking at you the way he did.
He finds himself a little self conscious. This isn’t like him..since when was Russell motherfuckin’ Adler worried about the way he was perceived by a red of all people? Putting more aftershave on himself, a spray of cologne to mask the smell of cigarettes that had found its way into his clothing after years of the bad habit. A quick check in the mirror to adjust his outfit and hair before pushing the bridge of his sunglasses up and into place
Safe to say, you took him by surprise. He was of course impressed by your combat and cryptography skills as well as endurance during MK-Ultra, thinking it was such a shame you were on the wrong side. Began thinking of what-ifs…
After one particularly gruelling session, you were screaming and refusing to take the pills that Park was giving you to help you sleep, saying they made you want to vomit and the anti-sickness was not doing anything but Park explained that she couldn’t do much about it. Russell heard this from the other side of the door as he walked past your room late at night, telling Sims to source a different medicine he knew of. The next day, he entered your room as you wailed again, thrashing against your cot and he adminstered a dose, barely speaking to you before leaving again but as you clutched his hand, he rubbed his thumb across the back of your hand before letting go. Your touch overwhelmed him.
When he’d see you hang out and play poker or some board games with the others as he was filing reports and chasing up contacts, a tiny frown would form on his face, he’d start picking at the skin on his lips as he watched them or he’d look down and dust his pants off or fiddle with a pen, anything to distract himself from the green-eyed monster
If he heard you singing a song in the other room, he’d put it on for you in the car without a word spoken, you just staring at Adler as if to say how did you know that?
On one chilly night, you fell asleep in the dark room and Adler stood there in the doorway, looking at you, your breathing steady, face rid of anguish and you looked at peace in the red light. Slowly, he made his way over and draped his jacket round your shoulders, thinking to himself it’s just what any decent person would do. Can’t have his tool catching a cold now…
During stakeouts, Russell would start telling you random facts about himself he’s never told another person, saying to himself you’ll be gone soon anyways, that you were an outsider so that’s why it was easier to talk to you.
This feeling he had only seemed to grow with each mission. Instead of letting the others help you out when injured, he’d grip your shoulder as soon as they got in, steering you towards the nearest stool before anyone had a chance to say anything and command you to sit, treating you like the dog you are while he fetched the supplies.
As the weeks passed, he’d take you to your room and patch you up there, wanting some one-on-one time with you, making casual conversation, half to distract you from the pain and half to suppress the thoughts going round in his mind about being so close to losing you
He made you laugh once or twice and couldn’t stop thinking about it. It sounded even better than when Woods or the other crew members made you laugh and it made him smile to which you pointed out but he stood up and left shortly after, his standard, stoic expression returning to his face
Adler would stay up on a few occasions to make sure you slept, scanning your face as the pills began to take effect, his arms folded as he stood, looming over you, his finger scratching at his arm even though it wasn’t itchy. It was just unease which he consistently pushed down but he noticed he was getting more fidgety when it came to you. Almost like the guilt was eating him from the inside out. He’d take off his watch, place his cigs on the side and settle into a chair, telling himself it’s just for a few minutes but once he did stay the whole night, leaving before the others woke up. Nobody ever knew
If you ever asked about your time together as friends and during Vietnam when you’d having trouble remembering, he’d keep it short and sweet, but every now and then he’d make up something that was what he wished it would have been like. Nothing too out there.
During mission briefings, he’d find himself laying his attention on you the most as he talked, wanting to know you were really listening to him and secretly asking for your input too and once the others had returned to what they were doing before, he’d pull you to the side, asking you if you were okay with the plan and if there’s anything you need to go over. I mean, you were the main star of course so it makes sense but his hand would reach for your upper arm and then retract. Boundaries, Adler…
One thing that killed him though was the fact that you only ever grabbed him out of fear, during MK-Ultra when you didn’t want him to leave, when in agony from a gunshot wound, or just as you dropped off to sleep after he injected your when you were being disobedient. Couldn’t admit he wanted you to grab onto him in desperation as he- Get a grip, Adler! When did he start thinking of you like that?
After Cuba, he felt nothing. No sense of accomplishment yet as he was one step further away from locating the man he’d been chasing for 13 years but now he was two steps closer to saying goodbye to you for good…

Late Night Chaos — Daisuke x gn! reader
summery: you share your first kiss with Daisuke.
tw: idk, insecure reader?
a/n: this turned out kinda meh, starting to burn out, I'll start with the actual plot in the next one.
wc: 1.4k
Master List
Part One | Part Two | Part Three | Part Four | Part Five | Part Six | Part Seven | Part Eight | Part Nine
You hadn’t meant to peek. You honestly thought it was a book you forgot you brought. Well, that was until you noticed the leather book had no title, which you then assumed was a sketch book your parents gave you in a misguided attempt as a gift that somehow ended up in your book pile. But when you opened it you realized you were sorely mistaken, sketches of pokemon, digimon, and the crew littered the pages. This was Daisuke’s sketch book. Not only was it because no one else on board would draw pokemon (as far as you knew), but the farther into the book you went, the more the pages were just filled with images of you. Whether it be just little stick figures of you and Daisuke holding hands, or full on detailed sketches of your face, all the way to your name doodled on the corners with his last name (or vice versa).
Oh gosh, you felt like a monster. You weren’t supposed to be seeing these. Daisuke must've left it in your room by accident and here you were paging through it without his permission. You were a terrible partner. Snapping the book close, you squeezed your eyes shut. Why the hell did you keep looking? Damn you and your curiosity, you broke a boundary that you only hoped could be mended.
With determination to make this right, you marched out of your room, the small book clutched to your chest. Thankfully it wasn’t too late, you had just been getting ready for sleep when you stumbled upon it after all. Honestly, it was surprising Daisuke wasn’t with you already, the two of you shared a room more often than not these days. It wasn’t a far walk to his rooms, everyone's sleeping quarters were close to each other. Knocking on his door, you didn’t have to wait long, the open door revealing Daisuke with his gameboy in hand. “Hey,” You greeted.
“Hey,” He replied back, glancing up at you before quickly looking back at his game. “Jus’ give me a sec. I’m almost done with this level.”
“Okay,” You murmured, shuffling over to sit on his bed. That made Daisuke paused for a second, glancing at you once again and noticed your nervous expression. Biting his lip, he let out a groan when the game let out the familiar sound of losing, you had unintentionally distracted him and he failed again. Letting out a frustrated sigh, he tossed the handheld console to the side, plopping down next to you. He needed a break anyways, he had been trying to beat that level for thirty minutes straight.
“What’s up?” Diauke asked, tilting his head to get a better look at you.
“I’m sorry,” You apologized, holding his sketchbook out to him. “I didn’t realize it was yours and I looked through it. I should’ve stopped when I realized it wasn’t mine but I kept looking. I am so sorry.”
Taking the book from your hands, Daisuke put it to the side and instead gently grabbed your hands, a small smile tugged at his lips, “Hey, it’s alright. I don’t mind, not that big of a deal.”
You paused, staring at him, eyes wide and slightly confused, “You’re not angry? Aren’t those personal? I went through your stuff.” It was like you were trying to justify your guilt, not able to accept the fact that you had probably over thought the whole ordeal. Not able to accept the fact that you could be forgiven so easily. Why wasn’t he angry? Or annoyed? Sure, he always seemed laidback and carefree, but he was still human. You had seen him insecure, and bummed out, it wasn’t out of the wheelhouse to see him at least peeved as well.
“It was an accident,” He shrugged, rubbing his thumb across the back of your hand. “And it’s mostly just silly doodles, nothing to get upset about. I’d let you look at them if you asked…or even give you a few.”
“There seemed to be a few personal ones,” You murmured, hands tightening around his own, but your argument sounded weak even to you.
Letting go of your hands, Daisuke opened his sketch book and flipped to an image of you with little hearts surrounding it, a mischievous grin on his face, “You mean the ones like this?”
You opened your mouth, face warming at how nonchalant he was about it. Glaring at him you huffed, “I can’t stand you.”
“Is it a crime to draw the one you love?” Daisuke asks dramatically, putting a hand over his heart.
“Yes,” You responded in a deadpan tone.
With a pout, he replied, “Well, you can’t blame me for wanting to draw something pretty.”
Giving in to your impulses, you leaned forward and smooshed his cheeks in between your hands, “You can’t just say things like that and get away with it.”
Daisuke merely giggled, grin brightening under your palms. This was supposed to ease your cute aggression, not make it worse, but it seemed you still didn’t have a full understanding of your emotions. Perhaps you never will fully understand it, but what you did know was that you were going to make him pay for his crimes.
Leaning forward, you place a short kiss on his forehead. Your heart jumped when you made eye contact, his brown eyes shining, watching you in awe. It pushed you to go further, moving your palms from squishing his cheeks to holding his jaw, assaulting his face with fluttering kisses. You made sure you didn’t miss an inch, stomach twisting in knots at how much affection you were sharing, but also feeling oddly content. When you finished, you pulled away enough to make eye contact once more.
Daisuke felt his heart pound in his chest, his cheeks warm and eyes wide in awe. You had been pretty reserved in your relationship so far, not that he minded. You were clearly out of your depth, unsure how to accept and offer physical affection, but your kind actions and words showed how much you cared. Although he was also new to the whole dating thing, being affectionate with you had become second nature to him. Having you not only act first, but cross a boundary neither of you dared to cross took his breath away and made him feel all melty.
Sure, you hadn’t kissed him on the lips, but neither of you had done more than hold the other. The feeling of your lips continued to warm his skin, and he couldn’t help but wish you just laid one on him, but he also respected your wishes. If you weren’t ready for that, he wouldn’t push. He wanted you to go at your own pace since you were clearly more uncertain in the relationship.
“You missed,” Daisuke teased, watching you with a warm gaze.
Pouting Scowling, you smooshed his cheeks again, causing him to laugh. Your blood thrummed in your ears, your heart speeding up and you continued to feel more confident in your actions. You glanced down at his lips, should you…? Was that him giving you the okay? Were you even ready for that?
Apparently tonight was a night of acting instead of thinking for you. Relaxing your hold on his face, you placed the shortest peck on his lips in recorded human history. Daisuke barely felt it, but it still made his breath hitch. You had actually kissed him, lip to lip, the whole smoocharoo. You stared at each other, wide eyed and hearts beating in tandem. Such a simple moment for some was world changing for you both.
“Can…can we do that again?” Daisuke whispered, scared to break the atmosphere.
You nodded, a shaky okay spilling from your lips. It was Daisuke’s turn to act first, closing the gap between you and pressing your lips in a light kiss. You press your lips to his a bit firmer, but your inexperience shows as you're left unsure how to proceed. You felt a bit embarrassed, but it was hard to keep that thought as Daisuke smiled so much you ended up having to pull away.
“We gotta work on that,” He muttered, his grin betraying his giddiness.
“I think you just want more kisses,” You murmured back, feeling your heart skip a beat.
“Can you blame me?” He laughed, wrapping his arms around your waist. “I’ve been wanting to do that for a while now.”
“Must be your lucky day then.”
“The luckiest.”

Siren Aemond x (fem) reader
TW: SMUT, dubcon, breeding (?), threatening, alcohol consumption (not much tho)
“I feel like this camping trip will be good for us! There’s nothing quite like reconnecting with nature,” Alys, my best friend since childhood, smiles at me as we set up our tent.
“If that’s what the birthday girl wishes,” I grin back at her. We’ve hiked to a hill overlooking a giant lake, green surrounds us from every angle. While Alys and I have practically grown up in our backyards, it's been a while since I’ve been in the woods, due to me having moved to the city five years ago for work. As an office worker, I have barely been able to take a few days off to relax, so for me to be able to come out into the mountains with my best friend is a miracle in itself.
The day is spent setting up camp, taking smaller hikes through the mountain and fishing in the lake next to our campsite. We are the only people we’ve seen so far, but Alys and I both love the tranquility and the opportunity to be truly ourselves. The strange thing is that I feel like we are being watched the entire time as we fish. When I bring it up to the dark haired woman, she just shrugs.
“Maybe ghosts,” she jokes and though I may laugh along with her, I still feel the prickling sensation of a stare. It isn't until later that evening that I loosen up and forget about the piercing stare with the help of some alcohol and a fun campfire dinner (of ramen noodles) with my best friend.
“Right, well I’m tired. Bedtime?” Alys gets up to start getting ready for bed. She braids her long black hair and makes sure her nose piercings and earrings are still in place before grabbing her toothbrush and toothpaste.
“Go ahead, I want to put my feet into the lake,” I take a flashlight and blanket with me to the shore, it’s early summer so my sweatpants and old t-shirt should keep me warm enough.
“Okay, see you in a bit,” she calls out to me and I simply grin back and make my trek down to the water that laps gently at the sandy shore.
I sit near the water, taking my shoes off and letting my feet soak in the cool water while admiring the brightness of the stars, full moon, and how tranquil nature can be. Just as I close my eyes, I hear an agitation in the water. I open my eyes to be met with one lilac eye and a…gem? I fall back after making a startled gasp.
“What the hell?!” I study the figure in front of me. Long, pin straight, silver hair that practically glows in the moonlight. A piercing lilac eye and a sapphire in place of the other eye. As the figure lifts itself out of the water more and more, I notice that what I’m looking at is not human. I scramble to my feet and back away, studying the…thing in front of me that has a very apparent midnight black tail and a dorsal fin on his back.
“Did I drink too much? I’m hallucinating, right? Merpeople aren’t real, maybe I’ve read ‘The Odyssey’ and other mythologies a few too many times,” I mumble to myself, mostly trying to convince myself that this isn’t real. I flinch, however, when the monster in front of me chuckles, his sharp teeth on display. They look as sharp as shark’s teeth, making a shiver go down my spine.
“Hm, smart human,” his voice is deep, smooth, and sultry.
“Now the hallucination is talking, great. Alys! Alys, we may have a problem-” I turn to run towards the campsite, but am stopped when a slick hand closes around my ankle and yanks me into the creature’s chest. My eyes widen, the creature is not a hallucination, I know this from his cold skin touching my back. His skin is wet, cold, and I can feel patches of scales while the majority of his chest is made up of soft and smooth skin. Right as I’m about to scream the monster tugs me closer to him and puts his free hand over my mouth.
“Sh, humans certainly are loud,” his mouth is so close to my ear, I can feel his breath drift from the shell of my ear to the side of my neck.
“But you smell so perfect,” he mutters and if I wasn’t panicking before I am now.
“Please don’t eat me! I swear I won’t taste good!” I managed to spit out from behind his fingers.
“Eat you?” He chuckles, which should probably make me less nervous, as the words imply that he won’t be eating me, but it only makes me more anxious.
“Hmm, no. I wouldn’t be a good mate if I ate you, now would I?”
“Mate? As in, like, friend?” I ask nervously, hopefully, after he removes his hand from my mouth.
“No.”
“Well I don’t know any other kind of mate-”
“Humans, so smart yet so stupid,” the creature growls.
“Well then, explain it to the ‘stupid human’, will you?!” I make my own snide remark, though my voice still shakes slightly with fear. He hums thoughtfully for a moment, turning my face slightly to the side so I can see him better. He traces my jawline and then my lips with his frighteningly sharp nails, reminiscent of talons. My eyes follow his nails as best as I can, fearing he might cut me.
“You smell like you are my mate, and my mate must be an intelligent one. So, figure it out, darling. I’ve given you enough clues,” I can’t think for a moment, I’m so scared that nothing enters my brain. Then everything floods the gates of my brain. Mate: associate or companion, match or peer; (transitive verb) equal, match, or couple. Couple…as in copulation? Well shit.
“You can’t be talking about the animal kind of mate…right?”
“Very good, the gods chose you well for me,” his grin is unnerving, partially due to the sharp teeth he has on display, but also because of a certain glint in his eye. It’s dark, sinful and full of lust.
“Sirens may live long lives, but heirs come approximately once every fifty or so years. We have certain years in our prime when we are more likely to produce heirs. When the time nears, we hunger for our mate. Our bodies will connect with the mate chosen for us by the gods, and it would seem that you are my chosen mate,” the creature explains while dragging me more into the water. No matter how much I kick and fight against him, his grip is unrelenting.
“But I’m a human! We can’t mate!” The water is to my waist now, my sweatpants are soaked and it looks as though I won’t be able to escape his grasp anytime soon.
“It matters not, I know sea witches capable enough to turn you into a mermaid or siren. Now, say goodbye to land, your feet will never touch dry land again.”
I look at him, confused.
“This is a lake, where are we going?”
“Oh, what a cute human I have. There are tunnels that connect this lake and a few others to the ocean,” he coos and explains while I frown, that shouldn’t be possible. Even if it is possible, humans have done enough exploring around here to have known about that.
“It’s well hidden and guarded, humans would not have found it and lived.”
“Take me back, or I will scream. My friend will get help before you can take me out to sea,” it’s somewhat of a bluff, and apparently a poor one as the creature doesn’t stop his movements of swimming us both farther from the shore. I take in a deep breath, ready to scream, when he slaps a hand over my mouth.
“Scream, and I’ll sing so that friend of yours drowns in front of you, and it would be your fault,” he threatens and I immediately stop, not wanting Alys to get hurt.
“Good girl, that’s my mate. You have some common sense after all, my darling,” he coos into my ear. He finally takes his hand from my mouth after not-so-playfully nibbling on my neck. A small squeak makes its way out of me before I can quell it. I feel his smirk on my skin before he kisses the spot he just nibbled on.
“What do I call you, my sweet nymph?” His velvety smooth voice is so close to my ear. I tell him my name and he hums.
“My name is Aemond, though I wouldn’t mind if you call me your mate or…mm, no. I can’t wait to hear you scream my name over and over again until it’s all you know.” He moves me quickly so that my chest is pressed against his before he finally drags the both of us beneath the water.
Cold water envelops my body and my squirming body’s movements are halted by Aemond's arms wrapping themselves tightly around me. I try to hold my breath for as long as I can, but he had given me no warning before dunking us beneath the murky water.
In only seconds, although it feels more like hours, I run out of air. Aemond is close enough so that I can see his wicked smirk even in the dark water. The bastard can see that I’ve run out of air! He’s practically reveling in it! My eyes shut after a moment, my lungs burn, and I’m choking on water. I don’t want to die like this.
Only a second after I close my eyes, I feel cold lips claim mine. My jaw is forcibly opened and air is pushed into my mouth. I suck in the air, allowing him to pull me closer.
I feel my shirt ripped off of my body.
I feel my bra get unhooked and forced off of me.
I feel him tear off every article of clothing that remained on me.
His claws feel every inch of my skin.
It almost feels like he is worshiping every freckle, stretch mark, bump, beauty mark, and scar. His hands draw circles and other shapes into my skin as I can do nothing but breathe in the air he is giving me. His finger circles my sensitive pearl like a shark does its prey. I try not to gasp too much, as I’m still relying on him for oxygen.
Relying on him for oxygen. I hate this. I hate that he’s forcing me to rely on him to do something as simple as breathing. But most of all, I despise how good he’s making me feel. It feels like there's an electric current running through me, from the tip of my fingers to my toes. His tongue darts into my mouth and I feel my tongue caressing his.
His touch leaves me breathless, his lips starting a fire in me. He swallows my moans when his fingers leave my pearl alone and start to pump in and out of me. My walls pulsate around his pointer and middle finger while one of my own fingers travels down to rub circles on my clit. I don’t know which of us breaks the kiss, but suddenly my head is tilted back and his lips are around my left nipple. A moan is drawn out of me and I regret that as soon as I accidentally breathe in water. I barely notice Aemond chuckling while I panic, needing oxygen. The panic breaks whatever spell like trance I was under and I am back to clawing at him, desperate for air. I see him roll his eye before flicking his tail and taking us above water.
I cough and gasp, not being able to get enough air into my burning lunge. As I am focused on breathing, I vaguely feel the sensation of Aemond’s hands wrapping my bare legs around his waist, where scales meet skin. I hadn’t even noticed him gliding us through the water until my back met the cool sensation of a rock. I look around me, now noticing we are in a small cave. The cave is about ten feet wide, but there is air and that is all that matters to me at the moment.
Then I feel it. The sensation of being speared open by Aemond.
It burns at first, as it would if you aren’t prepared well enough.
“You can take it,” he grunts as he continues to enter me inch by inch. When he finally sheaths himself all the way in he stills his movements, allowing me to breathe and for my body to become accustomed to him. In the meantime, he places hot kisses down my neck, to my shoulder, and back up my neck.
“Ready, little nymph?” I gaze into his lilac orb and sapphire in place of his other eye and give a short nod. He moves slowly but is so deep in me, that it feels euphoric. His lips meet mine again and I melt into the kiss. I can’t hold back anymore, can’t hold back the pleasure. Aemond feels so right, so perfect. It really does feel like he’s a match made for me by the gods. Our lips break apart and he dives his head into my chest, giving sloppy kisses down the slope of my breasts before stopping at my right mound. I throw my head back in ecstasy when I feel myself about to fall over the edge.
“Come for me. Let go and feel my love for you,” he moans after lifting his head from my breast. His lips let go of my nipple with a wet pop, before he moves his head down to the other nipple to give it the same treatment.
And I do, I fall right over the edge for what feels like an eternity. All I see is white, I can hear nothing but the blood rushing to my head. I can’t tell if I’m moaning or screaming his name, I only vaguely feel my mouth moving and the vibrations in my throat. When I come down from my high, I see him falling from his own high. Then I feel his essence deep in me, dripping out of me like honey when his member leaves my hot cavern.
“Such a perfect mate,” Aemond breathes out, tugging me into his chest as his arms wrap around me.
“I can’t wait to see you with our heir.”

Can we get Headcannons for the next three Monster guys you've drawn for your Monster AU? (Vil, Rook, and Leona look so cool)
Ask and ye shall receive (so long as my ADHD riddled brain plays nicely).
Warnings: yandere behavior, yanderes, my monster AU, Humans Are Extinct TWST AU, Drider Rook, Harpy Vil, Nemean Lion Leona, stalking, web building, venom, display dances, mention of Humans being food,

- Rook's spider fur is extremely soft and comfortable to the touch. Vil makes Rook deep condition the fluff which has resulted in it being softer than kitten fur and Rook is extremely proud about this fact, especially whenever his darling Human pets the fur. Where he would have teased them for their act of petting his spider body, he is enjoying the gentle affection far too much to make a sassy comment.
- Rook is a Drider and will often spin webs in various locations so he can watch others mostly undisturbed. He never uses his webs to hunt because that just removes the fun from hunting for him. Usually his webs are clear or a very faint white, but Vil can still see them with ease and will often berate Rook for yet another web on the Pomefiore ballroom ceiling. Sometimes Rook is so busy building his web he doesn't even realize he has been caught before Vil nails him in the head with the heel of his shoe.
- Rook sleeps either face down or on his back given he has to accommodate the spider body. He can lay forward over his fangs and when he sleeps like that, he leaves his legs splayed out in whatever direction feels the most comfortable. When Rook sleeps on his back, the spider legs curl up like many spiders do when they die. Sleeping on his back has frightened Vil once or twice as the Harpy is not keen to lose his best friend and the curled legs make it look like Rook has died.
- Rook is venomous and Vil will frequently use Rook's venom in his various potions and poisons. He often gathers his own silk and milks his venom for Vil to use as he sees fit. In Rook's mind, anything he can do to aid his Roi du Poison is worth the struggle and hassle of collecting. Rook likes that he can assist the Harpy with his venom and he thinks the clothes the Harpy makes out of his silk is nothing short of divine. It would drive Rook into a state of pure euphoria to see his Human dressed in clothes made from his personal spider silk.
- Rook is fascinated by his Human's hands and feet, as most species don't have Humanoid feet the way his Human does. He himself has spider paws with small claws on the ends of them for web walking and clinging purposes, so the delicate feet of a human are just adorable to him. Rook will offer to paint his Human's nails just so he can hold and marvel over their hands and feet without coming across as extremely weird or unusual given his fascination with them. (Most think he is still weird as hell for this, but he is shameless in his interests)
- Rook has built a web on the ceiling of Ramshackle's common area and has yet to be caught any time he is occupying that web. Most of the time he is just silently observing his little Human bustle around and go about their daily life, smiling whenever they do something particularly cute. Naturally, Rook thinks that almost everything they do is cute so he will be smiling rather wistfully as he watches them move around, oblivious to the monster that is observing their every move. He will try to flee or conceal himself if it ever seems like his Human is going to look up, wanting to continue this act of stalking the endangered species without his Human realizing it.

- Vil is extremely proud of his feathers- wing feathers, crown feathers, tail feathers, ect- to the point he takes long hours out of his time just to preen them to perfection. Given he is so serious about making his feathers look perfect, he is very selective for who he decides to display them for. Vil has gone as far as refusing to display on command for movies he has acted in, meaning the few times he does give his feathers a shake, he means it whole heartedly. He will display and even begin to dance to gain the attention of the few he feels are worth showing off for, his Human taking first place on his list of those he will actually display his train feathers for.
- Vil refuses to let anyone see him or get near him while he is molting. The only one who he will allow into his room is Rook as the Drider has always been a good friend and support for the prideful peacock. He will gather up the shed feathers and will even gift the prettier ones to those he cares about- his Human and Rook, primarily- or he will use them in his next ensemble. He needs to look pristine and even one feather missing is a tragedy to him. His crown feathers are the only ones he will flat out cry over when he sheds them and he is very particular about having only seven of them as his own way to honor and respect The Seven founders of NRC.
- Vil's wings and feathers keep him nice and warm so he typically doesn't need to wear jackets or coats even on snowy days. He is actually very fond of snow as the white background is perfect for him to show his many colors off even when he isn't trying. He can use his wings as blankets due to the insulation they provide and will be so bold as to wrap his Human in his wings should he ever witness them shiver.
- He is an extremely proud Harpy- more so than most due to his peacock lineage- and he doesn't really care who knows it. Those he tends to be in conflict with are other Harpies- especially the mourning dove Harpy Neige- and those with strong personalities- such as Leona- due to his prideful nature. Neige is actually very fond of Vil but Vil despises the drab mourning dove and will go out of his way to oil his feathers and give them that shine that overshadows the boring grays and browns of Neige's feathers. Vil would come completely unglued if his Human ever showed the other Harpy preferential treatment or affection in his presence.
- Vil is either extremely gentle or harsh when it comes to his favorites and will not pull any punches when it comes to making them improve themselves. He is not above throwing things, slinging insults, and generally being unkind in order to push others to be a better version of themselves. The only one he isn't overly rough towards is his Human because he likes the fact his Human is weaker than him and it gives him a huge stroke to his pride to know he is in a position of power over them.
- Vil will fight and get messy when it comes to others trying to win over HIS Human. Not only is he a brilliant mage but his physical ability in a fight is nothing to scoff at either. Graceful practiced moves and poses almost make him look like he is dancing while he fights and it absolutely pleases him if his Human is watching the fight. Can't you see how perfect he is? He is not only soundly beating his enemies but he is so beautiful while doing it, there is no question he wouldn't be the most ideal mate for anyone to possibly have. Praise him after a fight, he will display his feathers and dance for you.

- Leona comes from a Kingdom that suffers every day from the actions of their ancestors. Sunset Savana is a large Kingdom but it is also colloquially known as the Kingdom of Savages due to the rather large Human meat market that drove Humans to extinction. Most other sentient species adored Humans, so the crimes of Sunset Savana have put a clear strain on the goodwill of these other species and other Kingdoms in regards to allying themselves with them. Leona in particular has been a thorn in the Kingdom's side due to his natural aggression and dislike for how others treat him. Falena has been one of the few Kings to start pulling Sunset Savana away from the 'Kingdom of Savages' title but Leona has rarely made a similar attempt.
- In many ways, Leona both adores and resents the little Human he now has to deal with. He resents that such a weak species dying out still has a negative impact on his Kingdom, but he also sees how good this Human can be for the Kingdom as a whole. He has considered telling Falena there is a Human in NRC, wondering if getting that Human on his side and in the Sunset Savana Kingdom would make other Kingdoms/Queendoms change their view of the Savage Kingdom. It would be a genuine Godsend for either Leona or Falena to befriend this Human as it would help the Kingdom prove they are not as savage as the others view them. Though Sunset Savana is in no way a starving Kingdom, there is still the clear resentment others treat them with- Fae ruled Kingdoms/Queendoms especially given the long lives and even longer memories of the Fae- and bringing a Human safely into the Kingdom could help break down those societal walls for generations to come.
- Leona will be gruff and have a poor attitude in an attempt to scare his little Human away, knowing that few others would ever trust him to be alone with the soft species. He doesn't like the fear his Human has when he does this aggressive act and it does lead to him being particularly gentle towards the soft Human- especially if the Human is female gendered- when he realizes how much he hates the fear they attribute to him. From making himself be a pillow to covering his Human with his scent, he will try to make up for his aggression and behavior so that Human doesn't resent him. Where Leona will be patient with those younger than him- an adult Lion has no need to harm cubs, even if they are annoying as hell- he will extend that unusual patience and even temper to his Human.
- Leona is 'King' of Savanaclaw and will ensure his subjects don't lay a single fang, claw, or paw on the soft Human because he knows how the other species will react to such an act. He even threatens the other Savanaclaw students so effectively that most will flee upon any physical contact or close proximity with the Human in question despite their usual readiness to fight others. Ruggie does not heed these warnings- despite being a Gnoll- and Leona is actually somewhat pleased the quick to submit Hyena-man has managed to extend an olive-branch of peace to the Human. He won't be thrilled Ruggie is so close with the Human when Leona would rather be in his place, but he will take the offered boon of befriending the Human through Ruggie.

Bill Headcanons
I have enough of these to fill up my guts whatever that means
Includes: Normal, readerxbill platonic, readerxbill romantic, freaky stuff he into
Normal
He definitely said skibidi once because he had no idea what it meant or where it came from
He would probably honest to god enjoy interacting with an iPad kid because he thinks they're fucking funny
Tea person over coffee
Probably reads books on the randomest subjects. Mostly they all have human psychology in common, though. Or anatomy.
His favorite kids movie is Wreck It Ralph, favorite adult movie is Shawn of The Dead (He doesn't believe British people are actually real and finds the movie funny), favorite horror movie is probably something really obscure and is just plain goreporn or something like that.
(In my opinion) I feel like if he had a more anthropomorphic form (legs and arms and body) it would probably be something VERY weird core or something like that. Like, extra limbs, weird ass colors, and random effects. He'd probably keep the triangle imagery, though.
Would definitely just say random ass shit to freak people out
He has a thing for teeth. Not, like, a weird thing or a sex thing. He just really thinks they're cool.
If he had an iPad... he'd spend all day either being your standard reddit user or an iPad kid.
Probably like King from The Owl House sometimes.
Speaking of TOH, he met The Collector once. He thought the kid was neat and played a few games of chess with him before leaving. Probably one of the inspirations for The Collector's insaneness
He also met The Core from Amphibia. Or at least knew the core existed.
His favorite human color is either red, yellow, or orange. It's really everything on the hot side of the color wheel tbh.
Platonic X reader
Dream invasion time-- He would SO rummage through your mind if you made a deal with him.
If you pissed him off, he'd probably jab a fork in your arm while possessing you. He wouldn't be as insane as he was with Stanford's body, though. He wants yours to work properly.
Dream demon or not, he probably had a Drea- NIGHTMARE... it was SO a nightmare... about having more fun with you if you built the portal.
Would be touchy. Not in a weird way (if you ask, he'll stop) but he'll just, like, pat your shoulder or something like that.
If Weirdmageddon 2 happens he is SO finding you and inviting you to his party. You're coming, too. You don't got a choice. Womp womp.
If one of his friends were to eat you, he'd probably be disappointed as all hell, but it really depends on how close you are with him. Besties? He'd kill that monster and resurrect you with the parts left. Just acquaintances? Who are you again?
Would still possess you even after he gets a physical form. (he likes to prank you)
Romantic X reader
Clingy bastard. If your insert is mortal, he'll be by your side 24/7 if Weirdmageddon is happening. Even if your insert ISN'T mortal.
Would be even MORE touchy.
He'd set up boundaries and be clear with his own while probably ignoring yours. (he isn't a great partner)
It's probably a toxic one-sided relationship at first. Bill is NOT a good person at ALL. He always had a goal in mind. He sees his romantic interest of you as a little thing that just ALSO happened.
Probably gets flustered by affection really easily if you're the one showing it.
He won't know much about human affections, so you'll probably have to show him the ropes.
Before you do THAT, though, he'll probably just bite you (with his freaky fucking eyeball mouth thing). Not even as a sexual or possessive thing. He just likes to bite you. It's like an awkward thing he can't control. Get too close and he can feel your warmth? Bite. Bite. BITE. It's not light stuff, though. It's always hard enough to draw blood. Purposeful or not. (It's not on purpose)
He doesn't get JEALOUS, but he does get a little insecure if you start getting infatuated with someone else.
If you're hurt from someone, you BEST know he's overprotective as fuck. Your puny mortal body is pathetic, but if you lose it, he loses you, too.
You aren't aging ever again. You aren't DYING ever again. No. He won't let you die ever. Body is giving out? Here's a new one. Forgetting...? No, he'll plant more memories in your mind. He's too late and you're dead...? No you aren't... You'll always be conscious. Whether your body is rotting around your mind or not.
Sex junk
Sadist. 100% all the way. Not even light things, like slaps. No, if you consent, he will full on break your bones.
He doesn't feel sexual gratification like humans do, so it's more of just something he'll do to either please or displease you. Whichever one, it's almost always about how you feel.
He doesn't have a dick, so you'll be on the receiving end always. Unless you REALLY want to give.
He has a giant eyeball on him. He definitely likes to watch.
Always tops because there isn't much you can do to dominate him. He'll try to let you if you really wanna, but it probably won't be the easiest.
Blood kink. That's it. He thinks it's so pretty on you. Especially if it's yours.

Hi, i was wondering if you could do a Huggy Wuggy x Male Reader, I just wanna give him a hug, even if he tries to bite me.
So this is a first. I have to be honest. I have let my Inbox fill up and when I saw this one I knew It was time to return. I have a series planned. But this is to test the waters. So here we go!
Huggy watched as the human walked into the main room of the former Playtime Co. factory. He was intrigued. There hadn’t been a human in here for ten years. They had presumably killed all of them during the hour of joy. But honestly, he and a few other toys had always doubted that. He remembered a few faces missing. Some of them were the “nicer” employees. Some assumed they had taken the day off. He remembered a mechanic saying he planned to take a day off to spend with his child on their birthday. One of the caretakers for the toys had been missing too. And though he was angry they weren't there during the massacre when his mind cleared he was glad they weren’t there. You had always been kind to him and the others. Even Catnap was found of you.
And here you were. Ten years later looking at the toy you had cared for. You were 24 when you last saw Huggy and the ten years had not been kind. You looked mostly the same to Huggy. Sure you looked older. But your H/L, H/C hair was what identified you to the blue monster. Huggy stayed in his statue pose but he looked straight at you. But you weren't unnerved by this. You used to have epic staring contests with him. You used the grabpack to give Huggy a high five. “Come on big guy. I know you can see and hear me.”
You were right. Huggy could see and hear you. And while he was hungry? He was more happy to have his human back. His normal smile turned into a grin showing his teeth. You smiled as he kneeled. He had known from early on that your height couldn’t reach him and had no issue helping you out. You Stepped forward slowly. You were nervous, it had been ten long years and you had some suspicions about what happened here. And you had to be careful. Sure, Huggy was being nice to you but what about Mommy Long Legs or the Smiling Critters? Would Huggy protect you? It bugged you. “H-hey buddy. Been a while huh? I’m sorry I stayed away for so long. Have you been Okay?” you asked as you lay a hand on the bright blue fur. Huggy let out a purr. He couldn’t speak but you had developed an understanding of what his noises meant and how he could string them together to make a “sentence” and he had just said “I’ve been as good as I could be! What about you Angel?”
It was a nickname from Poppy that had stuck. You thought it was ridiculous. You weren’t an Angel no matter what. You knew what went on in this damned factory. But, you never said anything. And you hated that. And it was your guilt that brought you back here. Not your morals. You barely had any anymore. Working here had led you down a dark path and it had led back here. To hell. You swallowed nervously as you pondered what to tell Huggy. “II’ve been struggling.” huggy’s head tilted wanting more info. You just shook your head. He shouldn’t know. Huggy held his arms up. He was clearly asking if you wanted a hug. And you would have been insane to not want a hug. So you stepped into the hug and smiled as you felt the arms wrap around you. You let yourself cry. Huggy purred as he finally had the greatest treasure in Playtime. Your hug.

one piece fic | zosan | pride kisses 2025 challenge
{WRIST KISS; VAMPIRE SANJI AND DEMON ZORO AU}
CONTEXT BEFORE READING: so this is kind of a half baked concept i've had kicking around my head for a while about the straw hats being a crew of monster hunters, while also all being monsters themselves, except for their very human captain luffy. the only thing you might need to know before reading this is that demons in this AU feed on other monsters and then absorb their energy to make themselves stronger, and there's a lot of animosity between them and vampires especially because of how similar they are. also that demon zoro looks approximately like this.
The first time Sanji fed from Zoro was entirely by accident. He’d been drained and starving after driving off an entire pack of werewolves to save a small fishing village, and his normally ironclad control over his bloodlust had been overruled by pure survival instinct. Unable to stop himself, Sanji had simply jumped on the first living, warm-blooded being that he’d come across, tearing into its jugular with his fangs and then slurping down its strangely potent and unusually flavorful blood until the poor thing was completely dry.
Or at least, that’s what he’d thought, until his victim had sat up and dryly remarked, “Are you done, or are you gonna have some dessert too, twirly-brow?”
It was only in his post-bloodlust clarity that Sanji had realized the thing he’d just been feeding on was a demon—a fact that had initially caused him no small amount of total shock and utter bewilderment, because what kind of demon let a vampire feed on them instead of ripping the vampire’s head off and devouring them whole?
The answer was: a demon like Roronoa Zoro. Who was actually kind of a terrible demon in that he didn’t much like his own kind, did quite like humans, and did not seem to understand the fact that he was supposed to be the monster that all other monsters feared. Humans may have lived in terror of becoming the next meal of a vampire or a fish-man or a werewolf, but they all lived in fear of becoming dinner for a demon.
But Zoro didn’t eat monsters; mostly he just ate rice balls and drank a whole lot of booze. And he kept letting Sanji feed on him because he understood, on a fundamental level that very few other monsters did, Sanji’s desire not to harm any mortals. The first time Zoro had willingly offered himself up as sustenance he’d even said as much.
“It’s better than you having to feed on a human, right? At least I can’t die from blood loss.”
And there was a logic to that which, no matter how weird he felt about doing it, Sanji couldn’t really deny. Zoro’s blood was potent enough that a single feeding could keep his bloodlust satiated for weeks, and it meant that Sanji no longer had to go around in a perpetually half-starved state, desperately trying to keep his hunger in check with only animal blood. So long as Zoro didn’t mind doing it, then there was simply no reason not to.
Apart from the fact that everything Sanji had ever been taught about demons—by the Germa Clan, by his long deceased human mentor Zeff, by his own personal experience wandering the earth for a few hundred years now—said that there was no way in the Nine Hells a demon would ever—ever—allow him to drink their blood, and three centuries worth of conditioning was not an easy thing to shake.
“Curly, we go through this every damn time,” Zoro growled, holding out one of his six arms and shaking it irritatedly at Sanji. “When are you gonna get it through your stupid, twirly-eyebrowed head that I don’t fucking give a shit if you feed from me?”
Sanji glared at him while taking a long drag off of his clove cigarette. Technically speaking he didn’t really need them anymore (since he was no longer suffering from any bloodlust that required numbing), but the ritual of smoking them was familiar and comforting, so he did it anyway.
“And I keep telling you every damn time—it’s fucking weird that you’re so okay with it and fighting three centuries worth of survival instinct isn’t exactly a walk in the moonlight!” he huffed. “So just shut up and let me fucking work up to it on my own time, alright asshole?”
Zoro rolled his eyes. “I don’t even know what you think I could do to you,” he grumbled. “Even if I did try to rip your head off or whatever the fuck, it’s not like you couldn’t take me in a fight. I’d just be causing myself a whole lot of trouble.”
“I know,” Sanji snapped, unable to stop himself from baring his fangs and feeling terrible for it when all Zoro did in return was raise an eyebrow.
He knew Zoro meant well. It wasn’t his fault that he’d never learned anything about traditional monster hierarchies and behaviors until well after he’d passed the point of caring about any of them. Or rather, it was his fault, because he’d been the one stupid enough to accidentally wander outside the Third Circle of Hell as a child and then be unable to find his way back, leaving him to be raised by a clan of humans and thus developing a soft spot for mortals in general; but it wasn’t like Zoro had intended for any of that to happen. He didn’t deserve Sanji’s ire for being such an anomaly that Sanji still had a hard time wrapping his head around it. Plenty of other things sure—but not this.
With a sigh, Sanji went back to puffing vehemently on his clove cigarette. It only took a few more drags to finish, and then Sanji put the butt out on his tongue before flicking it away.
“Okay,” he said, turning to face Zoro. “I’m ready.”
Zoro rolled his eyes again, muttering something under his breath that sounded like fucking finally. Sanji scowled at him, but in the interest of moving things along so he could just get this stupid feeding over with, chose not to respond. Instead, he grabbed Zoro’s proffered arm gently by the wrist and brought it up to his mouth.
This close, he could hear the dull thrum of Zoro’s pulse, smell the scent of smoke and salt and metal that was constantly radiating off his skin. On other demons, that particular combination always smelt to Sanji like freshly spilled blood and brimstone; on Zoro, it smelt like campfire and ocean spray and the sharp steel of his beloved swords.
Sanji ran his tongue along the back of his teeth a few times, an old grounding technique that Zeff had come up with since taking deep breaths wasn’t really an option for a vampire. Once he felt steady enough, Sanji bared his teeth, pressing the razor-sharp incisors against Zoro’s coal-hot skin and then scraping and scraping and scraping until finally, blood began spilling over his tongue.
As usual, Sanji had to bite back a moan at the taste that flooded his mouth. Because he was a demon, Zoro’s blood ran unusually hot, and it always tasted to Sanji like some kind of alcohol. Sometimes a red wine—dry and full-bodied, with a tannin-heavy backdrop of plum and sour cherry. Other times like a whiskey—spicy and complex, with toasted wood notes and a silky finish. Most often, it reminded him of sake—earthy rice and cedar flavors that gave way to a hint of citrus, best when enjoyed warm.
He drank as quickly as he could, but the one problem with feeding from Zoro was that unlike a human, Zoro’s natural healing factor would kick in and start closing the wound Sanji made with his teeth, and he had to continually reopen it until he’d had his fill. This meant that the process took a while, and because Sanji had to keep hold of Zoro’s wrist and constantly be dragging his teeth and tongue over it, it also became… Strangely intimate.
Especially because Zoro, who had no manners or propriety to speak of, always watched Sanji whenever he fed.
Sanji never watched Zoro in return. In fact, except for the initial scraping, he kept his eyes very firmly shut throughout the entire ordeal; mostly because the one time he had dared to glance over at Zoro, the feeding had nearly turned into something else entirely. Sanji could still recall with perfect clarity the way that Zoro’s good eyes had opened up across his main head, all five of them (the sixth being permanently scarred and closed) staring directly at Sanji with a kind of smoldering heat that had set his blood on fire. The hunger in his stomach had gone up in flames, replaced with a deep, burning desire to see all the other ways that Sanji might make Zoro submit.
And that… That had terrified him.
Because while it was natural for a vampire to want control over others—was, in fact, an inherent part of their nature, the most evident examples being thrall and siring—Sanji didn’t want to be that kind of vampire. Hadn’t been that kind of vampire for over two hundred years now, successfully fighting back against his bloodthirsty nature to turn himself into, if not a friend of humans, then at least an ally of sorts. There was nothing Sanji dreaded more than becoming the kind of vampire that the Germa Clan had always wanted him to be. He would rather walk directly out into the sunlight than become a vampire like Judge, or worse, his brothers; mindless and savage, existing only to serve their father and find their next hapless meal.
It didn’t matter that Sanji knew Zoro would never make it that easy for him. That the ostensible submission of letting Sanji feed on him was entirely Zoro’s choice, done in the name of protecting the humans for whom they both had a fondness. Fear of his own nature was what had gotten Sanji this far; no matter how badly he wanted to drag his teeth up the line of Zoro’s arm and lap up all the blood he drew on the way before finding out how demon tusks compared to vampire fangs, Sanji wouldn’t. He couldn’t.
It was safer that way. For both of them.
(And if Sanji happened to linger a little longer than strictly necessary with his mouth against Zoro’s wrist, meticulously catching every stray drop of blood that dribbled from the wound, well. Nobody needed to know that except him.)
{sanji: i must resist my bloodthirsty and domineering nature. if i slip up even once it could mean a descent into the savagery of the germa clan. so i CANNOT, under any circumstances, sleep with zoro, because that would just be asking for trouble. zoro: god i want him to use like his personal chew toy}

Select an alternate universe to study abroad in for a semester. You'll be sent there with a new body that matches inhabitants of that realm. Little to no time will pass in your world, as time between dimension is entirely diffeent. Wherever you choose to go you won't be known to be from another dimension unless you tell people.
1- an endless forest made of massive trees, so tall no mortal soul has seen the ground or the unobstructed sky. The sentient races of this world consist of slender owl like humanoids, various insectoid races, short squat mushroom people, and a minority of rodent like creatures who live further down the trees. Technology in this world is as advanced as ours, but the aesthetics are more similar to our Victorian age. They say this world's heaven is deep above the trees, and this world's hell is deep below it, with each culture's religion having its own version of God/gods above an devils in the forest floor (outside of the mushroom people, who worship gods below.)
2- an endless system of volcanic caves and tunnels that demons and fallen angels come from. This realm is vast, and is ruled over by countless lords and kings, some truly evil, some merely strange. Demons and fallen angels come is countless forms, most looking somewhat humanoid, though with strange and unnatural distortions, from animal like parts to things humans would find much more horrifying. This is one of the few realms listed where they know what earth is, but they don't know much about it outside of myth.
3- an alternate earth where mythical creatures such as vampires, werewolves, deep ones, dragons, and witches exist. It also has a population of demons and faeries who came over generations ago. While they were in hiding for many millennium, they've now taken over most of earth, with humans being removed or conquered in some regions, and peacefully integrated into others. Though in both cases they are now a minority.
4- a version of earth that's both flat and entirely endless, with many sun's carving safe warm zones in the ice. Even with 21st century technology new lands are still being explored. Most social problems still exist, but things are looking a bit more hopeful, and the world's slightly nicer to live in. Cryptids, gods, magic and the afterlife are all proven to exist, even if humanity doesn't know much about them. Human bodies here naturally trend twords looking however the person inside them wants to look, and sexual attraction and pleasure don't exist.
5- an alternate earth where the kpg mass extinction never occurred. Dinosaurs remained dominant but kept evolving, leading to a sapient race eventually emerging from raptors. The raptors are currently at a similar technology level as us, though due to how they're mind works they've spent more time developing computers and mathematics than they have any other field of technology. Also don't mind the obelisk in the pacific ocean, nobody there knows what it does or who put it there either, and we won't put you anywhere near it.
6- a world filled with giant monsters of all kinds, some looking like massive dragons or Chimeras, others looking like more strange and colorful creatures. Though some animals are smaller, the smallest intelligent creatures are the size of bears, and the largest are much bigger than blue whales. Technology is limited in some regards, mostly as the inhabitants don't always need it.
7- the world of the faeries, strange and complex, and both terrifying and beautiful. Very little is known about this realm other than the strange and often dangerous creatures who come from this place. If you go here it's likely you will remember very little and enjoy very much.
8- a universe where humanity is completely isolated to spaceships and space stations, most of them the size of cities. Humans here are grown artificially, and have completely androgynous bodies that lack biological sex, and most of them combine their bodies with mechanical upgrades becoming cyborgs. Most humans never touch a planet, and those who do don't stay there for long. There are a few alien species with planetary civilizations, but almost all of them are strange and eldrich. Technology is incredibly advanced compared to ours, and quality is life is better. Most humans consider AI taboo, though normal computers are fine and commonplace.
9- a world where humans are entirely missing, but every species of mammal is sapient and humanoid. Birds and reptiles pick up the pace of animals in the ecosystem, as the mammals have created a global civilization. Though magic doesn't exist here, and technology is around a 21st century level, the quirks of each species have created a lot of situations impossible in our world. Though several nations exist, the main powers of the world consist of a group of powerful corporations, an ancient secret society, and the church of the dead gods, all of whom are locked in a cold war, that luckily keeps the nations of this world at peace.
10- a massive city, floating in the void, surrounded by eldritch horrors. Countless humanoids have made their homes in the city, most hailing from diffrent dimensions themselves, but permanently stuck here. Though many races here could pass for humans, none of them truly are, from the sirenia who have wings for arms and hands for feet, to the modutal who can take parts of their bodies off and swap them with other members of their race, to the subterranean vamire who eat raw meat and have albino skin, to the hyven whose minds are each split between two to five bodies. It's estimated between fifty to a hundred humanoids call the city home.
11- the abyss. Do not attempt to enter the abyss. We cannot assure your safety.

The Orcas' Tale - Lyr's Story I
And here he is, our sweetest, craziest, loveliest boy ♥ Honestly, it was fun giving Lyr a bit more personality than he had in the original story, and I am also glad to have provided him with a cute little darling of his own. I hope you guys enjoy slipping into the role of a mermaid, and ehem look forward to a different kind of spice (;
Fandom: Original Content Pairings: Yandere!Orca Merman x GN!AFAB!Reader Warnings: Yandere, Sexual Content (Non-Con Kissing/Touching/Fingering, Bondage kind of), Violence (Threats to kill/harmm reader, Sharp teeth/claws, Almost tearing off reader's jaw), Monsters/Non-Human reader, Animalistic behavior, Mention of blood/claws/sharp teeth, Hinting at death/non-con, Feeding the reader seal meat, Being caught in a net, Long post

"They just won't stop bugging! Like, I get it, Mom, bringing a human into the pod was stupid and dangerous, but it's not our fault that Nerrocan left!"
Heaving a deep sigh, Lyr looked up at the water's surface through the holes in the ceiling of the cove he had found. Light was shimmering into the mostly calm water, a few tiny fish slipping in and out of the cave-like structure while he rested on his back, ignoring any wildlife of the ocean as he had no interest in small fry. They didn't get close enough to be caught, wary of the superior predators of the sea, who, unbeknownst to anyone's eyes, looked more like friends hanging out than what they really were—captor and captive.
Despite his annoyance and loud complaining, he looked tired. You had witnessed many a mood of his ever since he decided to hide you away for his own enjoyment, but as of late, every time Lyr visited you, he looked more exhausted than the last. As usual, his eyes were dull, and his dorsal fin collapsed. For an orca in his best years, he looked like he'd been dragged through the blue hell, but it invoked no sympathy inside you. All you could do was listen and observe, but knowing he was the merman responsible for your misery, you felt no pity for your clearly mentally unstable captor. Reaching to his left, Lyr picked another piece of meat from the seal carcass he had hunted, slipping the food into his mouth before continuing his rant.
"Who'd have known that guy had it in him. Can't help but respect him getting the fuck out of the pod, and I'm glad I don't have to see his wannabe goody two-fin face anymore. It's been getting harder to put him in his place with how aggressive he suddenly got."
"Won't they miss him?"
Lyr stopped chewing, his head falling to the side, facing you. Muddy purple eyes sprang to life, reflecting the light as brilliant as rare corals. With one big gulp, he devoured what had been left of his meal, a toothy grin spreading over his lips. "Look who decided to talk! Who's gonna miss him? His mommy? Sure. It's not like she has a dozen more just like him."
For a moment, you held his stare, watched the grin stretch wider, and twisted his expression into a grimace before you lowered your eyes, settling on drawing swirls into the sand. It wasn't like you wanted to have a conversation with him, but listening day in and day out to his crazy rambles and complaints was just as bovine as engaging with the madman.
"That's not very nice. I'm sure his mom loves them all equally. You've got a big family, after all."
"Nah," he retorted, shaking his head. Picking out a bone from the seal's body, he used it as a toothpick, cleaning out the sharp-edged teeth he loved flashing you. "Orcas aren't like yours. We don't love each other just because we share the same blood or come from the same mother. Either you're useful to the pod and do what you're told, or you're at the very bottom of the food chain. I could never be the same as Krill, no matter how hard I tried. He was always Mom's favorite, so now I just don't try anymore. It doesn't even matter to them where I am, but it suits me. Now I got a lot more time to spend with ya!"
Now it was your time to grimace while Lyr flopped onto his side and closer to you, surely noticing the tension growing in your body as you felt appalled by the ever-closing distance. He tossed the bone carelessly into the water while your movements abruptly stopped. You wished it was as easy as the flap of your fin to get away from him, but you were rendered helpless to his touch, unable to get away from his pointed finger dragging over your forearm, his claw teasing your softer skin. He didn't just have the advantage of size, but you knew that no matter how haggard he might appear, you'd be no match against him in a scuffle. Much less now that you were trapped.
And your growling stomach wasn't helping.
While you let out an exasperated groan, Lyr laughed loudly about your misery, finding your dependency on him to not starve hilarious. As much as you despised being at his mercy, you had no choice but to humor him if you wanted to survive, even when he enjoyed your reluctant behavior so much that he held his stomach aching from laughter.
"You could have just told me you're hungry!" he teased, grinning from ear to ear at you while you gave him an ashamed glare, staying silent as a stone in your spot, belly-down in the sand. "I don't mind sharing, ya know? There's still so much of this yummy seal left, it would be a shame to give it to the fish. You know what you gotta do to earn it, right?"
Gritting your teeth, you watched the smugness wash over his expression as he sent you into yet another predicament. You even considered eating a heap of sand instead of bowing to his will. As if being trapped wasn't enough, he just had to exploit you at every chance he got, and you hated how easily your survival instinct made these reckless decisions for you, which he'd never let you live down. The hole in your stomach didn't get any smaller. Lyr's last visit had been a few days already, and you were in no condition to hunt efficiently for yourself. So aside from small, stupid fish that came too close to you, you hadn't eaten outside of his visits, and it was starting to show.
You knew what you had to do. Unfortunately.
No matter how much your brain screamed at you not to, your body knew it instinctively, propping itself onto your forearms while you sighed inwardly, feeling defeated by your needs. Moving was the hardest part about being caught in a net. It was an unusual heavy net with clunky weights that had slung around your fin and lower body, dragging you to the ground where Lyr had found you. Even he had been surprised by the sturdiness of this net when he first inspected it but quickly had taken advantage of the situation, dragging you to this much more hidden place and out of plain sight so he had you all to himself. At least he didn't kill you; that's what you told yourself. But death was more merciful than Lyr, that much you knew by now.
He had no problem being patient when it meant watching you struggle as you dragged yourself toward him. Lyr didn't even mind you digging your meager claws into his skin when you grabbed onto him, using his body to support yourself while you lifted off the ground, close enough to feel his watery breath ghost against your face. Placing your lips over his, you flinched away in reluctance before forcing yourself to keep going, counting to three this time before twisting your head to the side.
Lyr hummed, sounding dissatisfied as you felt his hand brush up your spine. Nesting his palm at the nape of your neck, you refused to look forward again until he twisted his own head to find your lips, his much sharper, much more dangerous claws only curling into place the second he got what he wanted. Now, with an appreciative chortle, he relished in stealing another kiss, tongue swiping over your pursed lips until he found a hole in your defense, worming into your mouth.
You were no stranger when it came to mating habits, but compared to your fellow dolphins, Lyr was surprisingly gentle. He relished in your defiance but seemed to enjoy enticing little moans and gasps from you just as much. His tongue was a choking hazard in a mouth that wasn't fit to house it. Though you had gills, you could barely concentrate on breathing while you fought against him as best as you could. Still, he took his sweet time exploring every inch, letting air flow out of his mouth and into yours, never not considering you while doing what he wanted. He even softened his hold on you, rubbing his palms down your back in a spine-tingling motion when you stopped struggling against him. It was almost like he was rewarding you for good behavior, and it was sickeningly pleasurable.
But the taste of flesh and blood lingering on his tongue made your stomach growl, your body eagerly moving towards him, hoping to find food. All you gained was a chuckle before he nicked your lower lip with his sharp teeth in warning. Your fangs probably wouldn't be able to bite through his thick tongue, but despite this weird obsession he had with you, he was almost more wary of you than you of him. It seemed like he could never cut himself loose completely despite having nothing to fear from an easy target like you. He seemed so relaxed and unbothered whenever he visited you, but it was almost as if he was plagued by invisible ghosts whispering into his ears.
Despite his warning, you found his arms wrapping around your body, pulling you on top of him before you two rolled over to the other side, Lyr resting you gently down in the sand. He didn't care that the net that had trapped you to the ocean floor also got dragged over his tail, unbothered by possibly getting stuck like you were. Perhaps he simply didn't mind that thought as much as you did. To be fair, considering he was much stronger and the material had yet to wrap around and get stuck on his fins like it had with yours, it posed no threat to the orca. And yet, it was infuriating to you, who wanted nothing more than to swim away and reunite with your own kind.
Propping his arm in the sand next to your head, he looked down at you with a satisfied smile and a mischievous spark in his eyes but reached over you, grabbing a piece of seal meat. He brought it up to your lips, dabbing it against them, though you refused to open for him. "I can feed myself just fine," you reminded him, wiggling your hands in the air to demonstrate your ability to hold things before trying to take the food from him.
"Now, don't be ungrateful, or I'll bring you a turtle shell to gnaw on next time."
You could feel your face contort in disgust at his suggestion, reluctantly parting your lips to nib at the food dangling in front of your face. Once you had a taste of meat, your body couldn't resist, gobbling up every last bite hungrily while Lyr kept providing it for you with a smile. If he wasn't fast enough, your teeth would drag over his fingers, but he wouldn't even flinch or scold you, his fin slapping against the sand instead, almost as if he enjoyed your nibbles.
Seal wasn't your preferred food, but in times of food scarcity—like it has ever since getting holed up with Lyr—it was as good as any. The rest of the carcass was devoured faster than your excited stomach wanted, and you still didn't feel satisfied after eating every last piece. Had you been free, you'd have gone hunt for more without a moment of rest. But the gnawing hunger had subsided at least, and if Lyr came back again soon, you'd at least not have to endure it for too long until the next meal.
Pausing your thoughts, you realized you had just longed for Lyr to provide for you again soon, immediately turning the hunger into nausea as you pondered on it.
You were too quiet, too long for his taste as he sought out your lips again after your meal. Brushing his thumb over them, your instinct mistook his finger for more food. You could barely stop yourself from biting into his gnarly claw as the urge to eat won over again. However, your mouth was open long enough as realization dawned on you of what you were doing, for him to cup your face instead, turning it slightly to him so his tongue could lick over your lips and dip in again. Lyr hummed merrily as he tasted the seal on you, unashamed, unbothered by you struggling to keep him out, fingers wrapping around his throat—unsuccessful in deterring him. He was waiting for your breath to run out before taking the chance to deepen the kiss again, ever so patient with you.
"I think I get it now," he mumbled, breaking the kiss before leaving some more superficial brushes of his lips against yours. "Nerrocan was onto something. We just didn't know it."
"Why didn't you go with him then?" you mumbled back, turning your face away to avoid any more unwanted affection, even if it meant resting it in his palm.
To your surprise, Lyr scoffed loudly, and you flinched away as you could feel his mood shift. His palm didn't grow stiff and rigid. However, you still forced yourself away from it, too afraid he might—possibly on accident, but much more likely intentionally—rake his claws over your face, leaving wounds deep and painful. It was useless, however, as he used the same hand to collect your floating hair instead, forcing you to look at him while his gaze drilled into you with fury swirling in his eyes.
"Listen, I might not remember how we got to that place, but I know all the shit they did to us!"
You whimpered as he pulled your hair back, your neck struggling to keep up with his demands from your position. Lyr took a sharp breath, pausing the angry flashing of his fangs as he watched you cowering in front of him, ever so slightly calming down at the sight of fear flashing in your eyes. You hated him when he mocked you and also when he was delighted in your suffering. But you hated his anger more, his haggard body still crushing and his fangs and claws sharp despite whatever he went through. One bite into your throat, and you were a goner, especially with how exposed the soft flesh was to him now.
"I'll never go back there! Never! They cut us open, prod inside us with their disgusting hands, and inject strange fluids into me! They… They changed us. Changed me. And now I don't even know–"
His hand was trembling in your hair as he let out a shuddering breath. You caught his eyes for only a split second, watching the brilliant purple turn into mushy darkness. Lyr shook his head as if confused while his voice trailed off, his free hand rising as he hid his face from you for a moment. You weren't sure if you were supposed to say anything, and even if, what could you say to that? You had no idea what he's been through, and even though you had your fair share of struggles in your life, you never experienced something quite as dramatic as he described. Then again, why would you try to comfort him? Lyr was perfectly able to help you in your time of need but had refused cutting the net for you again and again. Why would you give him kindness if he refused to do the same for you?
Being free of his attention, your eyes fell lower on his body. Just shy of where your tail rested over his. With his tail flipped over, you had a clear view of his collapsed dorsal fin, a pitiful sight for any creature like you. It made you think that something was wrong with him in the first place, as this was an unusual sight on any of your kinds. If what he said was true, maybe this experience had done this to him, understandably so, as it sounded awful. You couldn't bring yourself not to pity him despite your negative feelings towards him.
Next to you, Lyr took a deep breath, pushing his short hair out of his face before he searched for your gaze. Desperately. Needy. Somewhere to ground him. You weren't sure what you saw in the darkened violet, but his features looked drained of vitality, as if the moment of silence had exhausted him completely. It made him look… vulnerable. But then he smiled again, his eyes lit up, and the strange feelings swirling in his irises were covered by excitement as he found yours, soaking in the sight before him.
"I really do get it now," he admitted, grin parting his lips, revealing his protruding upper left fang, the sharpest of them all. "I was so confused about the strange looks Nerrocan gave the human, but I realize I've been the same with ya—whatever it means. I keep coming back here just to see you. I want to stay right here with you, forever. Just us two. I'll hunt for us and make this cave pretty. Whatcha think, lil' dolphin?"
"N-No, I don't think that will work," you mumbled, averting your eyes again as his gaze became too intense to keep up the eye contact. He seemed to drill into you as if to excavate your soul and lay it bare for him to tease and enjoy. You didn't like it one bit when he looked at you so intensely.
You could tell by now that he was working himself into another ramble, but you didn't like how much it focused around you. Usually, he was complaining about his situation in his pod and how much his mom hounded him with expectations. Lately, his rants focused more on the human and Nerrocan and the waves their arrival and disappearance caused in their family. But while he was always strange when it came to you, being the sole focus of his attention felt uncomfortable.
"I'm not sure I understand, but my pod is probably searching for me, and I've been away for so long already. They probably miss me terribly! If- If only I could get the net off, I wouldn't have to bother you at all! I'd be gone before you know it, and you wouldn't have to look after me! I'd be fine! Maybe you can try cutting it again with your claws, or… or maybe--"
Lifting your torso from the ground, you grabbed the net at its highest point, tugging at it and trying to loosen it up. You realized it was you who was rambling this time, but the conversation had taken a turn that you didn't want to make reality at all cost. You couldn't imagine yourself being this guy's pretty little cave warmer for all eternity, preferring the roughness of your own kind over his madness. Orcas weren't known to be gentle housemakers, no matter how much Lyr tried to sell it to you. Not even when he handled you gently, yet never did what you wanted.
However, you were surprised when he reached down to the net, yanking at it with you. A yelp escaped you as he pulled your tail over his, the net cutting into your flesh painfully as he twisted and pulled until you had to fold up your tail, getting more and more caught. Nets usually weren't as much of a problem to sirens, but this one was sturdier and heavier than any fishing net you had encountered in your long life.
So when Lyr caught your hands in it, you began to panic.
"Wait! I'm getting wrapped up in it! Please stop, this isn't helping!" Your plea was ignored as Lyr slung the grating material over your wrists a few more times, ignoring your thrashing and panic with the calm of someone who had all the time in the world. Who had nothing to fear, especially not you. Tears welled up in your eyes as you tried to make him understand you wanted to get out of the net and not strung up in it more until he was done messing with you, flipping you over and pulling you close against him.
"That's not what I meant," you sobbed as he rested his head on top of yours, only cushioned by the arm he lent you as a headrest.
"Isn't this so much better?" he asked, feigning innocence. But you couldn't believe his audacity to make you even more miserable. It was as if he wanted to make you as miserable as he was. "This way, you can't leave without my help. And I doubt your little pod will find you here."
"I just want to go home," you mumbled, anger slowly overtaking as the panic subsided. Your hands were bound tightly, your fin being the one hurting when you tried to lift them and vice versa. You felt truly trapped, and that made you angry rather than sad. It was strange, considering how, just a few minutes ago, you had almost pitied this male, but now, all you felt was rage.
"It's your home, now. Our home. We'll live here, unbothered by others. Just the two of us."
"It's not my home! Let me go!" you snapped, lips pulled back in a snarl. Dolphins were by far not the scariest predators, but your teeth were sharp and threatening as well!
Or so you thought.
Lyr laughed at your display of a threat, seemingly amused that you were still fighting him. Without warning, he raised his hand to your face, squeezing both sides of your jaw until the pressure forced you to open it, and stuck his pointer and middle finger inside. He only needed these two to press your tongue down, your mouth wide agape with his claws scarily close to the back of your throat. You tried to close your jaw, bite down until he'd retract his hand, but Lyr didn't care. He didn't even mind your teeth digging into his flesh, leaving cute little cuts against his slick skin.
"Careful, lil' dolphin. You're not in a position to make such scary demands of me, don't you know that already? I could kill ya."
Unafraid of getting hurt, the pressure on your lower jaw increased, fingers purposely impaling themselves on your teeth while pain made you jolt as you felt your jaw dislodging slowly. You wiggled your trapped body, gurgling against his fingers before finally looking up at him as best as possible from your position, noticing the smug grin on his face.
"I won't, of course."
Pulling his fingers out of your mouth, dragging out the motion until the last moment, you coughed, the taste of his blood on your tongue. There was no time to recover as Lyr nuzzled his face into the side of yours, oblivious to the thrumming in your jaw as you tried to relax it while the blood flow resumed.
"You're too much fun alive, so I won't kill you," he admitted, grabbing your hands that rested against your chest and pulling them down, elevating some of the strain on your tail, and you finally breathed out. "But if you want to get rid of the net, maybe we can find a way to make this even more fun?"
You felt his lips sink to your cheek, your jawline, then trailing down your neck. A kiss for every one of your gills. The water around you was gentle and warm, but at that moment, it was like jumping into the ice-cold ocean after sunbathing on the surface, shocking and shivering through every bone of yours.
While the arm your head rested on wrapped around your collarbones, holding on to your shoulder, the other hand started to wander lower. His fingers played around with the net, cutting through some of the squares until he could stick his hand through it, placing his palm on your stomach before sinking it dangerously low and pulling your hands down with it. So you wouldn't be able to grasp his arm on top, trying to make him stop as Lyr nibbled on your earlobe, the protruding fang drawing blood that he licked up without hesitation.
"Stop that!" you complained as his touch grew uncomfortably intimate, the pain in your jaw reverberating as you spoke. It had long dawned on you what his definition of 'fun' was, but you weren't as naive as to believe he'd actually stick to his word and cut you loose after getting what he wanted. It was better not to risk it than risk it for nothing. Your kind wasn't known to be gentle to their chosen lovers, but you never thought about mating with an orca. It wasn't normal! Wasn't what you were made to do! And if you were to survive it… you didn't want to think of the carnage that all of him would leave behind on your body.
If his size was any indication, you were sure you couldn't take him without getting absolutely ruined in the process—and not the pleasurable kind of destroyed. More the ripped apart and bleeding out type.
His hand found your slit, fingertip brushing lightly yet incessantly over it, leaving a tingling trail in its wake. You whimpered, ashamedly so, but instead of the expected mockery, you felt his chest rumble, a purr reaching your ears. It was soothing, relaxing, his body warming you from behind even as you desperately tried to deny feeling anything from his touch.
But Lyr wasn't stingy with his surprises.
A chirp so oddly familiar resounded behind you, yet you were sure you had never heard that voice before. It took you a moment of complete stillness to realize it had been Lyr making that sound, yet it wasn't orca. It was dolphin. "How did you…?" you gasped, ignoring his inquisitive fingers prodding at your entrance, begging to be let in without having to use force.
"There's nothing I wouldn't do for you, lil' dolphin," he hummed, imitating some more whistles and clicks that were perfect and comforting, like the calls of your pod, yet were spoken by an uncanny voice. You felt the tears well up in our eyes again, as you couldn't help but gasp, following it with a moan, his finger slipping into you, teasing the soft, warm flesh awaiting him there. Lyr let out an appreciative sound that made your core clench with desire, all praise and all dolphin for letting him in.
"You don't even like me," you gasped, hands wringing in the net. You were completely and utterly caught in this trap, and he had free range to your body while slowly gaining access to your very soul by imitating your own kind's calls of desire and adoration. Lyr's mouth pulled taut in a big grin as he felt you unwillingly relax and shudder in his arms, your tail buckling into his hand. You looked up to see the madness dance with satisfaction and need in his eyes before he leaned down to kiss you.
"That's where you're wrong, lil' dolphin," he chuckled, kissing you one more time, long and with relish, his fingers playing with you, adding one after the other as you loosened up to him, exploring the depths not meant for an orca.
"I like you very, very much."

More random headcanons because. I love worldbuilding for this silly horror fandom. This time, it's world building and 'factions' that exist! it's a bit more than the Slender vs Zalgo that's persisted for a while buut... having said that. First up: -Slender proxies: People who are infected by The White Roots. People like Toby n' Tim n' Kate and such. They're forced to kill people to feed to The Slenderman, as he hasn't the reach to kill enough people to survive. The only exceptions to the 'roots' necessity are Lazari and Sally, who are adopted daughters to The Slenderman and aren't encouraged to kill for him. -Civilians/commoners: Humans and monsters alike who live on the City Island; although there's speciesism and classism problems, they're still in the same category. They emulate civilization, either trying to become elite killers or using the city as refuge. People like Jeff, Meatbag, Frank, Will, Madame are in this boat. -Zalgoists: Not located elsewhere outside the city, his 'side' mingles with the commoners and mostly are commoners. Ben, Candy-Pop, Jason and anyone who acknowledges Zalgo as their emperor. -Zalgoids: Not to be confused with the above, Zalgoids are creatures that are split off from the main Zalgo biome in the middle of the Underrealm. This is a pesudo-category as most die off and the ones who do survive end up fitting in another category. [eg. Lazari being with Slender, a few of my fankids for Zal being commoners or feral] -Zenithists: Cultists and conspiracy theorists who believe the Underrealm is not ruled by Zalgo or Slender but instead is a living creature that will one day wake up and kill all. Not many actual pastas to name for that one, only Zachary from the NES Godzilla creepypasta. Less of a cultist, more of a Knower of Information And finally... -The Feral: The sapient and barely sentient alike who do not share strong affiliation with anyone and do not care for the politics, if they have the mental capacity to do so. They are either seen as feral animals [Hell Raptors] dangerous pests [Seedeater, Mr. Widemouth, Rake, ect] or 'true monsters'. Most sapient are treated like outcasts if they do not conform to the other social norms, but sometimes... there are exceptions. Be it treated like an animal or a name they wouldn't dare speak. Ella and LJ fit here.

Sunshine in Hell Height Headcanons
It's June 15, which as many of you know from this official profile, that it's Sunny Day Jack's birthday today!
You might also know that it's [Redacted]'s birthday thanks to this ominous picture Sauce shared last year on this day. Funny how these two totally distinct characters share a birthday isn't it? 🤔
Anyway, I was hoping to have written something for this year to celebrate, but like last year my spoons are way too few and far between. I was also hoping to do something self-indulgent for my own birthday, but same lack of spoons halted me there too.
So, until I can stock up on more metaphorical utensils to help me do the stuff I feel like doing, I'm going to celebrate by rambling a little bit about some headcanon details.
Sunshine in Hell differs from the game demos in a number of ways, and one of them is Jack's height. As you might've seen from the profile link, Jack is canonically 6'2", but in my personal headcanon continuity, I decided to make the gentle giant quite a bit taller than that. Because it amuses me, and I struggle with imagining Jack as shorter than Cove Holden.
When deciding how tall to make Jack in my stories, I also decided to do a height chart for him and a few other characters as well. It helps to better imagine characters interacting when you can see how tall they are compared to others.
Yes, I threw in a few extra love interests to the mix, as well as a couple other MCs. I was curious to see how tall Alice would be compared to her sisters, and I had to throw in their love interests as well.
As an aside, it tickles me that even after I made Jack significantly taller, he's shorter than Bo's horny "Feed Me" form.
For those of you that need the conversion from centimeters to feet and inches, or have trouble reading the image, I'll write them down for easy reference.
Alice: 162 cm / 5'4"
Jack: 198 cm / 6'6"
Shaun: 178 cm / 5'10"
Nick: 173 cm / 5'8"
Ian: 170 cm / 5'7"
Bo: 180 cm / 5'11"
Barbie: 184 cm / 6'0"
Bo "Feed Me" form: 216 cm / 7'1"
Elias: 185 cm / 6'1"
Coraline: 172 cm / 5'8"
As you can see, Shaun, Nick, and Ian stuck with the canon heights in their profiles. It's just Jack who got a height increase because it's what I imagined his height to be from the start, and Sunshine in Hell is basically my headcanons that diverge from the game's canon, so I do what I want. It's also fun to imagine scary yandere Jack towering over every single one of the love interests. It adds to the intimidation factor too despite his gentle giant persona.
Bo and Elias don't have canon heights like the SDJ love interests, so I mostly just did whatever felt right to me for them. Bo's regular height was influenced by the mafia AU picture Sauce drew. It served as a very good height comparison chart all on its own. As you can see, Bo is just tall enough to reach Jack's smile if you don't count the ears and poofy hair.

All credit to the awesome Sauce for their lovely art of course and for feeding my headcanons. As always, I want to link to the SnaccPop Patreon as gratitude for being cool with me using their art in my posts. If you're a a free or paying member, consider checking out an important survey that went up to help guide the team in their future endeavors.
Bo looks so short compared to Jack, doesn't he? In my headcanon land, it's just a matter of perspective, and next to other people Bo is pretty darn tall. Though he's just one teeny tiny inch shorter than his puppy.
You bet your sweet bippy Barbie takes smug satisfaction in that one inch height superiority. Bo talks so big as a big bad alpha dog, but the puppy he's trying to dominate is just a bit bigger and badder than he ever expected.
Of course, Bo gets to turn it right back around on Barbie with his monster sized "Feed Me" form. Like werewolves that become huge compared to their human selves, when Bo's inner beast comes out to play, he adds on quite a lot of height and muscle. He towers over even Jack! Still, even when super sized, he's no match for Barbie.
As you can see, despite being the eldest child, Alice is shorter than her two younger sisters, especially Barbie! They got more of their dad's height genes, while Alice took more after their mom in that department. Barbie and Coraline are quite a bit taller than average, a fact that Barbie revels in, and Coraline can find a little awkward sometimes, especially during moments of weakness. It can be hard to help someone stand back up and walk when they're much taller than you are after all. It leads to some embarrassing moments for poor Coraline.
On that same note of surprisingly tall people with chronic illnesses, I thought it would be interesting if Elias would have been a very tall man if not for his illness. There's no canon height for him and he's floating with Jack and Bo in the Christmas picture, so it's hard to go with a comparative height. So, I went with what felt narratively interesting to me. With his legs being twisted, and him being hunched over with a cane, he probably appeared shorter than he actually was. It's hard to see his exact height with his lower half ghostly and indistinct as well. It's only when he actually bothers to give himself legs and stand with both feet planted firmly on the ground that he can show off just how tall he really is.
While I'm on the topic of height, I wonder if one of Ian's insecurities was his height. Some men have issues if they're shorter than their peers, and Ian is the shortest of the love interests. I can imagine it certainly didn't help if he was bullied for being short along with his general "nerdy" appearance back in school.
Still, Ian has nothing to complain about at the height he's at as a fully grown adult. Even if the other love interests are taller than he is, Ian is still above average for men in the US. He's just got the misfortune of being the shortest guy in a group of very tall people. At least he doesn't have to worry about taking the bottom spot in the height chart like Alice.
Yes, Alice is a bit self-conscious about being so short compared to her peers, even if technically she's also above average height for a woman in the US. She feels especially tiny when standing next to Jack.
Though, admittedly, Alice does find it very nice to feel tiny and delicate when Jack sweeps her up into his arms. It makes her feel less self-conscious about how chubby she is when her big strong giant of a boyfriend can carry her around so easily. Once she gets over the initial fear that he might drop her, she'll soon look forward to being whisked away by her silly clown.
Oh, and if you're wondering about Mary's height... I'm still debating if I want her to be around Alice's height or a little taller. She had the same eye color in both lives due to the eyes being windows to the soul, but there were other physical differences due to different parents introducing different genetics. I need to ruminate on that fine of detail more and see what feels more interesting to me narratively.
Though even if Mary was as tall as Barbie, she'll still be short enough for Joseph to sweep into her arms since he's just as much of a giant now as he was then. Not that it would stop him from trying even if his sunshine was bigger than him. Nothing will stop Joseph/Jack from showing his love for his sunshine!
I think I'll wrap things up on that fluffy note. I hope y'all enjoyed me going off on a headcanon ramble after such a long time. With any luck, I'll be able to get to answering some asks soon. Thanks for reading!

Blood Moon Rising 🌙🐺
okay so I’ve seen and read pretty much all the vampire fics of Eddie but hardly anyone really dives in and makes a werewolf Eddie fic. So I’m thinking kinda like how in the show Wednesday when ennid can’t fully turn until a blood red moon. Maybe Eddie has the same problem and when he goes through his first full transformation to protect reader from some bullies or another monster, she then in turn helps him out when he transforms back into his human form since the transformation is so painful to werewolves. 🐺🐺 thanks you love.
Request by @mirkwoodshewolf ❤️
This is my first time writing werewolf Eddie so I hope this is okay! ❤️
Mentions of blood, wolf Eddie, protective Eddie. You're Eddie's mate but you don't know that yet. 18+ blog so mdni.
If you have any spooky requests for spooky season then let me know 🎃👻✨
❤️
Eddie had a little problem... Okay, scratch that. He had a major problem and it all traced back to when he was bitten by a rabid wolf two years ago.
Since those were quite a rarity, he had only turned a handful of times but the wolf was always inside him, ready to play and it just so happens that tonight was a blood moon.
Ever since then he had changed into a creature of the moon; well if he was being specific a creature of the blood moon.
The only person he could be around was Uncle Wayne who knew what he was and recently...you.
Mostly he kept the wolfy side of himself under control. Sure he got a little grumpier when it was near the full moon, the lunar cycle played havoc with his emotions and he found it best to be by himself on those days.
Well he would have done but those thoughts soon leave his mind completely as an overwhelming sense of fears invades his senses. Fuck. It knocks him off balance, it's not his own emotions... the fear is coming from you.
He was well aware that you were his mate, could feel the pull to you growing stronger and stronger every day, he knew you felt it too but the thought of telling you about his wolf side was terrifying, what if it scared you off for good?
The rare days when he could change was a day full of unpredictable moods and a longing to be in the forest, to run free as his wolf self.
He was ready to take himself off into the woods and wait until the moon was at its highest in the sky, giving himself over to the wolf.
What could have made you so scared? He's gripped with fear that a wolf or some other supernatural being has found you; there were a few unexplained monsters in Hawkins.
Without thinking he rushes out of the trailer, he has increased speed due to his wolfy side and incredible smell. He's hoping he will be able to scent you, find out where you were.
Before it was too late.
❤️
Hawkins at night was creepy. You were well aware of the stories about things that go bump in the night. The mysterious disappearances that plagued the town, unexplained deaths and increased wolves in the forests.
You weren't keen on walking home in the dark but practice had overrun and you were kept late at school.
There's a rustling in the trees when you cross the road to get nearer your home. Usually during daylight hours you would take a shortcut through the woods but that was not happening today.
Unfortunately even though you were trying to keep as safe as possible trouble still managed to find you. You hear a strange chittering sound from the trees and you freeze. What the hell was that?
What you really should be doing is getting your ass out of there but fear roots you to the spot and in the next second something appears that seems to be ripped from your nightmares.
This thing was tall, long with long sharp claws that looked like they could tear you in two with one swipe and its head... Its head or it's face was the strangest thing you had ever seen, the thing had no features at all.
Before you can even get a good look at it the things face begins to open up and when it fully opens it's like a flower... surrounding a large gaping mouth, full of sharp teeth.
You scream when the thing screeches and swipes one of its claws in your direction but before you can even think of running there's a blur of movement beside you.
Eddie is suddenly in front of you and knocks the monster out of the way. "Eddie don't!" you scream and you're worried that he's hurt as he drops to the ground and cries in pain. Did he get caught by one of those claws? You inch towards him then freeze when he begins to yell.
A horrendous sound fills the air, bones cracking and Eddie's screams grow louder as thick fur sprouts over his body, his fingers turn into long thick claws and more fur spreads over his body as he drops onto all fours.
In seconds Eddie is gone and in place is a wolf and it lunges at the monster in a blur of fangs and teeth.
They tumble into the trees and into the darkness of the woods, you hear nothing but growls, screeching and then the sound of tearing... and then silence.
After a moment you begin to grow nervous and step closer to the forest, you can't bear the thought that Eddie is hurt and you want to find him.
Then the wolf appears, blood coats its mouth and it's limping just a little bit. "Eddie?" you whisper and cautiously raise your hand towards the wolf, he moves closer and his snout presses into your palm
"It's okay" you soothe the wolf who whimpers and nudges your hand again which helps to calm your racing heart and you gently run your hand through the wolf's thick fur, hardly daring to believe that this was Eddie.
If you hadn't seen him transform in front of your very eyes you might not have been able to recognise Eddie as the wolf if it has just appeared out of nowhere.
However there was one thing that would have helped you recognise Eddie and the reason was the wolf's eyes; they were so intelligent, so human. Big, brown and beautiful, you'd know Eddie's eyes anywhere.
"It's okay. You're my Eddie and I trust you" you assure him and you know in your heart that you're safe with him.
When he's able to get up, he pads along beside you as you head to his trailer. The monster from before is nowhere in sight and you have a funny feeling it may be dead or at least injured enough to leave you and Eddie alone.
Eddie bounds to his room and curls up on the bed, that fight must have taken a lot out of him so you decide to settle beside him to make sure he's okay.
Up close you can see the soft brown strands that mix with Eddie's otherwise all black fur, his eyes are closed and he's amazingly docile as he sleeps beside you. You have a funny feeling he's only docile when there isn't danger present.
There's a million thoughts and questions in your mind. How did Eddie know how to find you? How long has he been a wolf?
You decide they can all wait until the morning and then the two of you would really have a few things to talk about...
Wolf Eddie jerks awake and begins to whine, low pained whines that grow in volume as he begins to spasm and you hear that horrid sound of bones cracking again. You quickly realise that he's transitioning back.
It doesn't last as long as his last transformation but it seems twice as painful and the cries of agony he makes brings tears to your eyes as he slowly turns human again, you soothe him as best as you can and it seems like your touch helps alleviate some of the pain as he turns back into his human form.
His human form which is also very naked. Flustered you avert your eyes and quickly finds some comfy slacks for Eddie to wear which he accepts gratefully, you turn around while he changes.
"So now you know huh?" he's cautious as he asks you this and you realise that he's nervous of your reaction. Well you won't pretend that you're not freaking out but it doesn't change anything...it doesn't change how you feel about him.
"I'm kinda freaking out but it doesn't change the way I feel about you Eddie" you turn back around and cup his cheek softly, then you lean over and plant a very gentle and chaste kiss against his lips.
It barely lasts for a few seconds but the powerful feeling of euphoria that washes over you at the way Eddie's lips felt against yours lingers with you. Eddie's previously pained expression changes to an awed, dopey look which is very cute.
"There's a lot we need to discuss Eddie but you look exhausted so sleep first and then we talk. Deal?" he bites back a grin and nods. "Yes milady...can you stay please?" He asks pleading and almost shy, it melts your heart.
"I'm not going anywhere Eddie" you settle back down on the bed and cuddle closer to him, resting your head on his chest.
Everything you needed to discuss could wait until morning. For now you would just lie here with Eddie and let the soft thuds of the rain against the windows, lull you both to sleep.

Part Pilot | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Husker spent the next morning teaching me how to hold my human appearance. It took several practice tries before I could switch between Human me and Demon me. Afterwards, I spent the rest of my time outside staring off into space.
I still didn't know how to wrap my head around...well, myself. Husker had been right, holding a human appearance took effort. I couldn't hold it for long and ended up letting my demon side out most of the time. It was cool, yeah, but scary. What else did I not know about myself?
"Hey," Husker called from the door. "You busy?"
I scoffed. "Does it look like it?"
He padded to his chair and sat down facing me. "Do you...want to talk?"
"About what?" I stared at the tree line.
"About...this new side of you?"
"What's there to talk about?"
We both fell silent. I felt bad. I knew Husker was trying to help. It made me uncomfortable to talk to him, though. Would he spill to Alastor some of the things I said? Did Husker himself have motivations against me? It didn't seem likely but there was always the probability.
"Have you been to hell?" I finally asked. I didn't want to talk about myself but there was a whole other world I supposedly came from.
"Yeah, a few times," he replied, "I mostly grew up on the surface though. In the gambling district."
"So you play cards, huh?"
"A few." He slipped a card into his fingers, spun it, and made it disappear a second later. I chuckled.
"What's it like?"
"Dark. Creepy. Lawless. And a fuck ton of red."
"Is it really...hell or just..."
"It's really hell."
"I thought demons were just a form of spirits."
"I wouldn't know the specifics of things like that," he waved his hand, "but I do know that demons have their demonic look and hid among humans when they first crawled on the surface. Our history is supposedly recorded in some fancy library down in hell."
"What uh...does this mean I'm a Full mage?"
"Mmhm," he nodded.
"So I can do things like you and Alastor."
"Well, things like me sure. Alastor is a bit different."
"How?" I pushed.
"Well, in hell, demons who rise through the ranks are called Overlords. They own hundreds and thousands of souls down there. They all seem to have some kind of...super magic. Something specific to them. But Al...he's a completely different monster."
"Why does no one know that you exist?"
He shrugged. "We phased out. Everyone has magic now from the first demons so it's not really...important I guess."
"True but how come demons aren't taking over places like the Overlords?"
"Our powers are dampened a little up here. We're governed by the laws of Mother Nature. In hell, it's a different story."
I fell quiet as my mind made a map with all the information he had given me. I looked down at my black claws and rubbed my fingers together. It felt like I was still in a dream of some sort.
An idea sprung into my head. "Can you teach me how to fly?"
Husker's eyes widened as he looked at my black wings. Then he touched his chin as he thought for a moment. "Sure, why not? But not now..." he motioned for me sit back down. "It's too breezy and there's a storm coming in. Not the best air for learning."
I sat back in the chair and felt the wind. He was right. The wind was stronger and the air smelled more earthy. Speaking of smells, my nose curled when Husker opened another bottle. The alcohol ran straight for my nose and I rubbed at it furiously with the back of my hand.
That's when I noticed my heightened sense of smell. I could smell the old wood of the house, the small fire in the fireplace, and a bunch of other smells I hadn't noticed before. My ears flicked as I picked up the sound of a bird's wings flapping overhead. It flapped its way into the tree line and disappeared back to its nest.
"What is it?" Husker asked.
"I can...I can hear and smell everything." I probably looked like I was in a trance as I walked into the old home to discover the little smells and noises. Everything that was normal sounded so incredibly loud. The small fire crackling sounded like it was right next to me. And of course I could hear Alastor's footsteps as he walked around upstairs.
Husker taught me how to dampen loud noises like the faucet running or the door squeaking open. He made a comment about how I had the most sensitive hearing he’s ever heard of. His tricks helped tremendously to clean up dinner that night.
"Can you show me how you fixed the floor?" I asked him, tapping my clawed feet on the new tile. He looked between me and the floor before agreeing. He always seemed to be a little unsure when I asked him something like that. Was he worried I would use it against him? Or was he worried what Alastor might do?
He went to the study/library and ran his paw across a dusty side table. The top of it came back squeaky clean like it was freshly bought. "Try with one of the legs," he instructed, "Imagine your picking up all the dirt and dust."
The first and second time did nothing. I knew how to use Slight magic so why was Full magic so much harder?
"Use your imagination," he tried next. "And take your time. This is something new."
I clenched my hands into fists for a second before releasing the anger slowly. I took a deep breath. Wrapping my claws carefully around the wood, I dragged my hand down the leg and imagined the wood turning shiny. I opened my eyes and found a clean leg at the very least.
"Keep practicing. You have to exercise your magic muscle," Husker said.
"Sure."
"You have time tonight. Alastor told me he and Rosie had something to take care of tonight."
"Oh, okay." I tried to hide my disappointment. With every meeting I had with Rosie, the more I discovered about my past. I wanted to remember my mother's face so badly. At the very least I knew she didn't purposefully leave me in the rings. Her hand had been forced.
"Try with something simpler." He held out an old lightbulb.
****
As Husker helped me learn and relearn my physical and magic abilities, I started to notice Alastor watching. If I was outside learning to fly, he was on the porch watching. If I was learning to use Full magic in the field, he was watching from one of the many windows. If I was in the library practicing on different objects, he somehow managed to appear in the sitting room observing me quietly.
I mentioned it to Husker but he simply brushed it off as one of Alastor's weird habits. That didn't mean I had to be okay with it.
Husker was fixing the electricity in the dinning room while I was practicing lighting the fire in the sitting room. I had seen Alastor and Husker snap their fingers but when I did it, nothing happened.
"It's all about intent, dear." I jumped at Alastor's voice. He stood behind me with his hands behind his back like always. The stupid cane was like a third eye for him.
"I've got it." I turned my back to him and stared down at the dead logs. I heard him walk past me and sit in one of the chairs, his red eyes never leaving me. I let out a tense sigh. "What do you want?"
"Absolutely nothing."
I scoffed. "I find that hard to believe." I tried again with the fire but nothing happened. "Why are you always watching me?"
"What ever do you mean, dear?"
"Stop calling me that. And I mean every time I'm doing something you're hiding somewhere watching me."
"Is it a crime to watch my soulmate?"
"Don't call me that either." My tail whipped hard against the floor. I was getting frustrated with him and myself. I knelt down and grabbed one of the embers. I could ignite my own hand but how could I not ignite a simple stick?
"Sometimes it's all about imagination," he said, drumming his claws against his cane. "Surely that's not something you're lacking in."
My lip curled in a snarl. I looked down at the hot ember and put it in the corner of the fire place. I looked at one of the logs and closed my eyes. I remembered seeing Full mages lifting air when they wanted to move something. Maybe I could do something similar.
I turned my hand palm up and pictured small flames sticking out from under the wood. They slowly grew bigger until they were catching the neighboring logs on fire. I felt the heat on my face and snapped my eyes open to a working fire. My shock turned into a smile. I had done it.
"Nicely done," Husker said from the stairwell. I stood up and brushed off my pant leg.
"Yes well done," Alastor commented from his chair. "You've got a lot of potential. We just need to harness it properly."
"We?"
"Yes, we." He stood and stepped up to me. He always came ridiculously close, forcing me to take a step back. I noticed that I had grown an inch or two in my demon form, putting me exactly at his shoulder height. “You and me. And Husker of course. But even he has his limits." I heard an angry cat growl from Husker in the dinning room.
"So now that I have power you're interested all of a sudden."
"Of course," he chuckled. "Before I thought you were a meager human with no redeeming qualities. But now I see you have some sweet secrets hidden in that mind if yours."
"I expect nothing less from the Radio Demon. Everything's some kind of string you can benefit from."
"I'm sure you'll come to understand me the more you discover about your power." He put a hand on my shoulder again.
"I don't think I will." I pulled his hand off.
****
I met with Rosie again but I made zero progress. She told me to write down any dreams or memories I had and to keep practicing with my magic. Apparently, I had gotten over the biggest hill but now everything was slow and steady.
I spent the following days restoring the old house to its proper glory. As slow and tiring as it was, I felt accomplished at the end of every day. I had restored all the flooring so they didn't creak so loudly and cleaned up the walls. Thanks to Husker, working electricity reached all over the house.
The library was the next room to be restored properly. I hated spiders but having magic solved that problem for me. I started practicing with using magic from afar so I didn't have to deal with them. Husker thought it was funny.
"My, I love what you've done to the place." Alastor manifested in the middle of the room. I rolled my eyes and shook the curtains until the dust had disappeared and their true colors shone through. Using magic was getting easier but it still made me exhausted. "I knew this old house just needed a woman's touch."
"Well you sure weren't going to do it," I said as I passed him. I took off the color glass shade of a lamp and ran my hand across it.
"I must say, this type of work suits you better than running about on the streets."
I placed the clean shade back on the lamp and took a deep breath. "You ought to remember I'm not your fucking housewife." I turned to find him barely an inch from me. I tilted my head back to stare up at his angry red eyes. My horns were the only thing that were taller than his shoulders.
"You ought to remember my rule about such foul language. It doesn't suite you."
I licked my lips and swallowed hard. Everything in me tensed as I straightened, closing the distance between us. My hands were sweating. "Fuck. You."
His hand grabbed my jaw and shoved me into the bookshelf. I pulled on his wrist as spit dripped out the corners of my mouth. I couldn't swallow with his hand pressed so tightly under my jaw. Breathing felt like I was sucking air through a pillow.
"Let this be your last warning, darling," the radio static coated his words, "Next time I will silence your defiance for an extended period of time. I'm sure you wouldn't want that." I looked up at his yellow smile with half closed eyes. "Now apologize, dear."
What!?
My tail whipped against the bookshelf and I pressed my claws into his wrist. I couldn't understand how someone of his stature had the strength he had. I wanted to swallow so bad.
"I'm waiting, love."
I felt something sharp poke above my lip. He dragged his claw along my upper lip and pressed it painfully in the corner of my mouth. I whined and tried to drop my weight to no avail.
"Three..." he started counting. I wanted to cough but I didn't dare. He pressed harder into the corner of my mouth. I pushed my foot against his leg but something pulled it back down. I couldn't see what had done it.
"Two..." I could see a mark on the corner of his smile that matched the injury he was giving me.
"One-"
"S-sorry."
"What was that dear?" He turned his head and lessened his assault only slightly.
"I'm s-sorry," I sputtered.
"For what, love?"
"For...for cursing."
"Thank you for the apology, darling." He let go and I stumbled to my knees. I swallowed first before coughing a bunch. I touched the puncture wound in the corner of my mouth. "I do hope you've learned your lesson." His feet melted into the shadows and the next second he was completely gone.
My face was hot with embarrassment. I went to the kitchen and padded my lips with warm water. Husker came to check on me but I waved him off. I know he had witnessed it. Even if he wanted to interfere, I don't think he could.
As terrifying as it was, I wasn't ready to give in so easily. Alastor would learn that he still had to treat me like a normal human being. If there was one thing I had learned from the rings, it was how to never give up.
