Why does no one take advantage of the fact that the sides can literally dress one another? Gimme Remus and Roman arguing about something, Roman getting heated and swearing to chop off Remus’ limbs and keep them from regrowing when Remus suddenly smirks, and points behind them.
Roman just hears a “WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK” before he turns around and sees Virgil there, in a very.. revealing and jaw dropping outfit that makes his brain make dial up noises for the next ten minutes while Remus just laughs at him and Logan sighs in exasperation wondering if he should just make a bet with Patton to get them together at this point.

i am thinking about lucanis asking rook to act out a scene from one of his romance novels. bonus points for fem!rooks or normally submissive rooks being asked to take the lead because i think it's extra tasty. lucanis who has gained enough courage to ask rook to read novels aloud to him because their voice is a comfort, and he finds that there is nothing better than laying his head in their lap, their hand idly scratching at his hair as they read to him.
but, perhaps in a way to get himself used to rook saying filthy things to him, the novels he picks start becoming smuttier in nature. and rook does not bat an eye--they read them just the same, fingers tracing idle paths along his temples, sliding down to rest heavy and warm at the base of his neck as they read passages that leave him flustered and aching. but he's good at locking those feelings inside--even as Spite revels in the heat in his blood, vocalizing his desires to deaf ears. "We want. Rook. To treat us. Like this." Declared when the novel's protagonist presses a thigh between the male lead's legs, forcing them open and growling something licentious into his ear.
some of them are softer, too. things that border on simply domestic. a novel where the submissive partner cooks a meal and performs acts of service. hand-feeding the dominant, no sexual act in sight. service and adoration, tender acts of care and affection. a desire tucked within his heart, offered up with the hopes that rook will allow him this. that rook will want the same.
and rook has learned to read Lucanis--is aware of the way he squeezes his eye shut and braces whenever they read a praise aloud. the way his breath hitches when they read a fanciful novel about Antivan crows and the male lead is tracing a blade along the muscle of the romantic interests' neck. how sometimes his thighs will press together, and a little noise will escape, and Lucanis will simply hide his face within their thighs and murmur one swear or another as he tries to disappear.
eventually, rook broaches the subject. soft, and easy, casual in an attempt to keep him from freezing but catches him off guard regardless. "you know, lucanis, these don't have to just be things we read about." a hand scratching at his scalp, a low hum as he sputters and his mind races through every possible fantasy he and Spite have been crafting for the past few months. "You can tell me whenever you're ready, Lucanis." A pause, grin sharpening before they add, "I prefer good boys who tell me what they want."
It is very, very difficult to keep Spite from taking over and kissing Rook senseless.
Eventually Lucanis settles on a passage he feels is safe enough. Brings the book to Rook with hands that don't tremble, despite the fear in his heart. Points out every passage he had lovingly marked, admits the little tweaks he had made with them in mind. And Rook, who loves him more than the sun and the moon, who would do anything he asked with a smile, tells him they'd be more than happy to try. And perhaps the scenes aren't always like the books, but they are perfect. because rook is the one taking care of him, and there is no one else he would trust himself with.

"Getting rid of inequality and making things fair for everyone" is a fairly reasonable place to start developing one's political stance. However many people when faced with the statement "only some people can do/access/have [whatever thing in question]", have a knee-jerk reaction to go "and so actually, EVERYBODY should be able to do/access/have [these things]" when SOMETIMES it should be "well actually, NOBODY should be able to do/access/have [these things]"

tbh i don't think you can put an end to single-use plastics without also reckoning with capitalist + imperialist worker exploitation.

i'll say this though the 15 years later affair (and to a lesser extent the say UNCLE affair) did make me realize that i fucking loooove thinking about napoleon and illya Old. to be clear i dont think early 50s is That old but it shows such a promising start. if thats the way theyre acting right at the start of middle age it can only get better from here. also yes to say nothing of the fact that im a huge sap and i love when a) two characters Find each other again later in life and b) have History (for better and worse) together. i love when two guys sit around and reminisce about the good old days AND old wounds AND fret over how much time they feel theyve wasted AND get excited when they realize they have more time together than they thought they were ever going to get. im only human

i feel like this site leaning heavily into the "pedophilia and incest and rape kinks are good" angle lately can be attributed to the mass expulsion of sex workers and black ppl on here ngl
#like gonna be honest these r the two groups that have far more of an understanding of how these r linked to colonialism and exploitation -#to be able to wholeheartedly oppose them w/out hesitation#like if youre a sex worker you'll likely see farrrrr more clients who are total strangers specifically seeking out children#by virtue of trying to protect said children in whatever way that you can#its easy to form opinions in the abstract if you straight up do not witness these events time and time and time again#and thinking about my ancestry + history of black exploitation especially against black children ...#i dont fully buy into the idea of 'these are exclusively issues of the nuclear family structure'. FAR more nuanced than that#as of the current society we live in.. the very family dynamic is one of inescapable relationships#if you can imagine how hard it can be when two people in a relationship have a lot of overlaps in friends have an awful break up#a relationship within the family would be much harder to reckon with. you cant just pack it up and walk away so easy#most of the ppl on here defending this shit do not even buy into it for themselves. it is entirely for roleplay purposes#they can put it away when theyre done#no disgust isnt always a good moral informant. but i will say i felt appauled reading the words 'incest fans' said in a cutesy way#ppl seem to misunderstand when black bloggers say incest kinks are a white ppl thing#what they mean is white ppl never have to reckon with the TRUE magnitude of power imbalances. it's treated like a fucking game#you never had to stand and feel the weight of knowing your ancestors are lighter than before because of the countless times white slave -#- owners raped them

Towa: Dad do you think we can come with you on a patrol? Sesshomaru: What did your mother say? Setsuna: She said "no". Sesshonaru: Moroha, what did your parents say? Moroha: Well -- Sesshomaru: Then what makes you think I will say "Yes"? Moroha: Because they're not the boss of you? Sesshomaru, internally: This is a trap, this is a trap, this is a trap --

commented about the buddy cole documentary on a youtube video that has nothing to do with the kids in the hall and just got a reply from someone who hasn't heard about the doc but LOVES scott thompson saying they're so excited that this project exists and immediately subscribed to my channel. i'm so happy genuinely the best part of my night
second best part of my night was watching john mulaney's netflix talk show live and texting scott asking if he wants to (re)watch it together when i'm in town and getting the reply "i'd love to do that. he is fantastic" (the fact that scott is a major john mulaney fan makes me so happy bc mulaney was one of the first comedians i was obsessed with)
third best part of my day was listening to the "masturbation fire" bit from kevin mcdonald's standup for the first time (he referenced the story when i met him irl but i didn't know the full story was available anywhere until now)
also i made a reference to "too many cooks" at dinner and realized my brother had somehow never heard of it so i'm very excited to hear his reaction. i'm usually a person who doesn't care about spoilers but watching "too many cooks" with zero expectations is such an experience i'm lowkey jealous of him seeing it for the first time lmao
#originally this post was just about the first thing but then i kept listing good things. but i think it's good for me#especially bc my mental health has been kind of inconsistent this month it's good to celebrate the good patches#and i get to go to toronto on friday!!! and the editor is working on putting the trailer together with the materials i sent!!#the context for the first one is that it was a video about an upcoming documentary that raises a lot of questions about ethics#bc it depicts a situation where the filmmaker could have very easily intervened to alleviate harm and chose not to for their content#and my comment was about how people sometimes give me shit for not being a ''fly on the wall'' bc the conversation around documentary ethic#often starts and ends at not intervening. when there are absolutely circumstances where it's okay to intervene#and in dire situations (which i thankfully have not experienced in my production but the documentary being talked about did)#there are times where the ethical thing to do IS intervene rather than exploiting someone else's discomfort for your own gain#bc as fly-on-the-wall as some documentarians try to be. the very act of having someone filming inherently does make an impact#anyway i expressed this and how i've had to learn to shut out shitty advice that leads to situations like that#and since i knew people would ask i was like ''btw my documentary's about scott thompson and we're crowdfunding soon''#and that comment got ten likes so far and one new subscriber who's a fan of scott!#my youtube comment game has been on fire lately lmao idk why

"getting revenge on the rich"
you say that until its you who is the victim.
have some empathy, you idiot.
I don’t have empathy for rich cunts who go to a festival to watch a giant fucking statue being burnt releasing on average, 100,000 tons of co2 into the atmosphere year after year, further speeding up the death of our planet meanwhile people don’t even have the fucking money to put food on their tables.
I don’t have empathy for rich people who are so out of touch of reality that they couldn’t tell they were exploiting people if it was right in front of their faces.
The rich have never cared about this kind of shit happening to the general public, the people who cannot afford to get themselves out of these situations.
The rich don’t care about you, so stop defending them. Because they sure as fucking hell wouldn’t do the same. Do you know just how many people are being exploited just so these people can have their giant burning statues and private jets?
Take that fucking boot out of your mouth and open your eyes. It’s embarrassing.

they gotta put some sort of enrichment in my cave man i just spent 3 hours placing cubes
#picked up 76 to round out the end of the season and oh my god base building has me by the brainstem#the worst part i think is that theres no way for me to show a non-player what i do without it losing a degree of its impressiveness#like dgmw objectively my builds look nice and a viewer would be like [wow! that looks great]#but they would lack the necessary knowledge to know why its great beyond the aesthetic sense like.#the insane fuckin exploits i have to pull off in order to make shit look good#for anyone still reading this: my favorite technique for punching up an area is merging and merging;#there's certain terrain features and items in game that#when under specific conditions#allow you to merge two objects together. but it gets more complex: some objects require support.#so you have to sandwich in either a conduit or a floor mat.#but then it gets more complex: even if you merge objects together; the architecture of your structure may prohibit placing it.#so you pull out a flame thrower trap. intentionally break the architecture (only possible across some varieties of wall and floor btw)#at a penalty. and then you place your shit. and then you repair it. and then: most vitally of all: you do not fuck with it.#a misclick can undo hours of work#AND FOR WHAT: BTW: I ENJOY THE PROCESS BUT OBJECTIVELY THERE ARE BETTER WAYS I COULD SPEND MY TIME!!!!!#anyway once i finish this latest build i think ill do a walkthrough of it or smthn to post here. im very happy with it =:]#daily h

this might be an abnormal take but i consider youtubers tweeting about how they’re looking for people to work for them to be unprofessional at best and downright exploitative at worst
#tbh i’m even being a bit generous with giving the at best bit#bc i do wanna believe that these guys are good people and don’t want to exploit anyone#but it’s still shitty#bc who are the people who r going to see these tweets? their fans#and obviously there’s always going to be an imbalanced power dynamic between an employee and their boss#but if the employee is a fan then it tips that unbalanced dynamic even further#they’re almost definitely gonna let the youtuber get away with a lot of stuff bc they’re a fan#and like i’m not even talking about shit like grooming even tho that does set up a perfect environment for it#like i wanna believe that these youtubers have good intentions#but they may not understand stuff like how much money is reasonable to pay for these jobs and stuff like that#and get away with it#and the most common thing i see this for is like thumbnails and video art#so u could argue that they want someone familiar with their videos or something#but then they should mention that in the job description#or go out and find someone like look through fanart tags and find an artist to commission#which would definitely have its own set of problems but i think that would be better than a tweet at least#and like the problem here isn’t necessarily just tweeting about hiring ppl#like companies tweet that they’re hiring all the time and then the tweet has a link to like a linkedin page#or the job page on the company’s website#don’t get me wrong linkedin and indeed and other sites like them are shitty and annoying to use#but they do a lot to legitimize a job posting and set up a professional experience from the start#(looking at u quackity studios)#mcyt#minecraft youtube#discourse#qsmp#posts from the ocean#minecraft yt#youtube#tag rants
