No, my frustration with Rook's characterization isn't that there are limitations to a video games PC. It's that there are scant options to RP in the RPG and fewer options to make choices beyond 'do you want to do this quest y/n?' in a game series which previously bent over backwards to explore the idea of how far is too far for the greater good.

No, my frustration with the way the world seems to have changed is not that the there is a change or even that those changes are underexplained. It's that those changes feel more like reboots that don't want to continue the narrative of the previous games. Sure, the differences in the Crows could be chocked up to a differences in the Houses, or the change in how Circles are described could be because how the Mage-Templar war ended but A) that's never actually addressed or even lamp shaded B) the worldstate removal means that the changes can't be a consequence for past actions because it happened regardless of whatever occurred in the last three games!

No, the number of times the word 'okay' is used doesn't inherently make the game poorly written. The change in the writing voice, anachronist word choices, and flattening of characters into marvel quip speak is just best quantified by word choice.

ONLY 3 COINS behind couri, who was 11th. cpk, in 9th, had 27 more coins. for perspective, the 13th placing player (noooreax) was 94 coins behind pangi. he was INSANELY close. the newcoming player closest to his placement, cast in 15th, was 197 coins behind his score. pangi isn't an s tier player, either. like he did phenomenal for his first ever event. he just had extremely high expectations of himself.

it had been six weeks, he had been in a coma for six weeks. Dean Smith had been hit by a car crossing the street trying to deliver some food to another asshole customer and missed the world ending. he had woke up to something out of the comics he read growing up, his body was weak and he could barley understand a few words other than over here! and move! so when Castiel and Sam told him that the world had ended in less than two months it didn't seem real.

after rescuing dean from an ugly fate they holed up inside of a convivence store and explained their situation to Dean while he soaked in every word,

"the radios stopped working a day after it was announced that the virus had spread to New York and there were reports of cases in Paris as well. the TV had shut down the day after, I couldn't get SpongeBob on for my daughter." he smiled at the memories.

"it killed the world in six weeks, you're the first uninfected person we've seen in five days." Sam piped up. he tossed a mars bar at Dean and Dean scrambled to get it, he didn't remember the last time he'd had food.

"so, what about family?" Dean asked through a mouthful of candy, "you said you had a daughter?" he pointed at Castiel and the taller man ran a hand through his salt and pepper hair.

"they're gone, my wife died when my daughter was an infant and my daughter..she died in the rush." he took a breath and dean swallowed the mouthful in a giant gulp, feeling bad for bringing this up.

"I didn't have any family to start with." Sam chimed in at the end of the awkward silence.

"what about you?" Castiel asked, a stern look in his steely blue eyes.

"i don't know, i hadn't thought about it until now. My dad is out in the countryside. shit, I don't know if he knows I'm awake" panic settled into the place right above his sternum. it bubbled and stirred and made him uncomfortable, his heart was beating like a stallion and then it's almost like Castiel could see the signs of a panic attack because as soon as Dean started spiraling the taller squatted down to where he was sitting and placed a hand on Dean's shoulder, grounding him instantly.

"it's okay, we can go looking for him in the morning. you said he lived in the countryside so we can start the trek tomorrow." Castiel smiled and dean felt calmer.

once they got settled in their sleeping arrangements, Dean claimed the empty space behind the register. it was hard ground but nothing he wasn't used to.

he didn't get much sleep and as the sun came up and filled the floor with light, he watched it.

they made their trek to Dean's house. it was chilly so Castiel lent him one of the jackets the group had carried with them.

"rule one, never travel at night, unless absolutely necessary." Sam told him as they walked through the desiccated city.

he nodded, feeling light headed from lack of food.

"rule two, never sleep alone, unless absolutely necessary."

"mhm"

"rule three, never travel alone-buddy system, unless absolutely necessary."

"is that all?" he was staggering, mind blank, he was crashing.

"no, don't get scratched or bitten or bled on." he finished with a twisted smile.

he nodded his head.

"try not to overload him, Sam, he just got out of a coma." Castiel laughed.

when they made it to his house, it was about three in the afternoon. if anything would come of this without thinking of the inevitable it would be a nice place to sleep.

Sam searched the downstairs while Castiel and Dean went upstairs. the closer they got to the master bedroom the more obnoxious the stench of death got.

"Dean." Castiel said sternly, grabbing his arm to try and stop him from uncovering what they all knew was behind that door.

damnit Cas, let go of me. I have to know."

"no you don't." he put it plainly and Dean knew he was right-of course he was right-but it didn't matter. Bobby was behind that door, he needed confirmation, closure, whatever the fuck you call it.

when they opened the door, the smell was undeniable. the odor of death and decay clung to their nostrils as they walked into the master bedroom.

there on the bed, lay Bobby Singer, foster parent to Dean. he was laying in a loving embrace with their neighbor, Ellen, who Dean had always thought were an item but to have it confirmed like this was beyond comical. he smiled at them and then noticed Bobby held a photo of young Dean in his death grip.

he snatched it and turned it around, on the back it read:

Dean, with endless love. We left you sleeping now we're sleeping with you. Don't wake up.

too late. he thought and turned to walk out the door bumping shoulders with Cas.

he threw up in the bathroom trash after.

once night had fallen, he still couldn't sleep, not after what he'd seen-the sleeping pills and wine on their bedside table flashed over and over again in his mind.

"they died peacefully. they weren't infected." Cas had informed him but it went in one ear and out the other.

he was watching a tape, something from when he was still a teen. Ellen had gotten back from the store one of the times she was taking care of them more than her own family, and she had handed him the old orange juice carton to drink.

he was holding a candle, he lit one for light, when it came through the window. everything was a blur. Cas and Sam jumped into action, the thing on top of him, dean realized, was a human. it clawed at him, rabid with anger and something else.

"fight it off!!" Cas shouted multiple times and Dean found a way out from under the beast that attacked him. it ran after Sam and he managed to beat it into a secluded enough spot for Cas to shoot it.

"did it bite you?!" Cas shouted and in a shock induced haze Dean checked himself

"no, I think I'm good."

"what about you?" and Sam went quiet.

"well?"

"I'm-I'm fine! I feel fine guys!" he reassured Cas as he hid his left arm from view.

"then why are you hiding your arm?" Dean squeaked out.

"show us your arm" Cas sounded dangerous.

Sam reveled his arm and they looked at a small Knick on his wrist, gushing blood.

much like the initial attack, Cas gutting Sam was also unexpected. the screams of both of them filled the room for nearly 30 minutes before everything stopped-no screaming, no spluttering of Sam's still beating heart, no noise at all-completely silent. blood splattered Castiel's white button up and navy tie as he cleaned off the machete he held.

"do you have any clothes here?" he asked calmly, too calmly for dean to be okay with it but he still answered like something compelled him to.

"yeah upstairs."

"good, go change." he looked at Dean, that dangerous glint still there. Dean stumbled as he slowly registered what just happened.

Well yes, words have meanings and "caucasians" is not a general term for white people and never was! Caucasians are people who originate from Caucasus region. It includes more than 50 ethnic groups and their history goes back to late II — early I millennium BC. It is extremely old, diverse and rich culture! You can read a little bit more literally on wikipedia.

More so they are not even considered "white" in general.

Like imagine you see somone being called "typical mexican" in a negative context. First of all it is racist of course but upon further inspection the person in question is not even mexican and have zero connections to Mexico. Thats just some random white dude. And it's very confusing at first but than you see more and more people start using the word "mexican" as a general description of white person, often in a degrading context. And it does not stop at internet weirdos and racist scum, news outlets, celebrities, well meaning people who claim to support diversity and celebrate and respect different cultures do that too. Sounds extremely weird and out of pocket, right? Well this is how i feel when i see yet another random white person being called caucasian for some reason.

You cant just...i dont know...use a name for a very specific, very old and very existing ethnic group to refer to random white people who have no connection to this group. It even sounds like such a weird and confusing concept when i write this sentence, why would anyone ever come up with idea to do it????
