There’s always “Brotp” vs “otp” arguments that occur no matter which fandom you’re in.. 😭

Can’t we all just come to peace and agree that no matter what you headcanon these tagged characters’ relationship as, they’re an incredible iconic duo??

If you ship them platonically (as in a sibling/dynamic), you can’t expect everyone else to. That doesn’t mean people who ship them romantically are ‘incestuous creeps’.

If you ship them romantically, you can’t expect everyone to, either. If someone says they’re uncomfortable with it, don’t shove it down their throats.

People view things differently than you do. Disagree with that, sure. But for heaven’s sake, hold yourself at people’s boundaries.

On both sides, there are many harmless people who constantly get harassed by some half witted blubberers who perceive things only on surface level.

Some people want smoochin’ involved, other’s don’t. Either ways, the chemistry is beautiful. Simple.

Need to see more people talk about Hua Cheng’s intelligence.

He literally learnt a language just by looking and studying it despite having no context for it. He has a near perfect memory and can recall multiple facts in any given area. He runs a gambling house and city and manages all the money. He’s picked up multiple art forms and can recreate Xie Lian perfectly down to his exact robes just from memories he had of him when he was a child. He learnt how to use a saber just through watching Xie Lian once and got so good at it in such a short span of time Xie Lian assumed he was a general and then he won Mt Tonglu. Have I mentioned his memory it’s genuinely scary the other immortals in the series don’t have a memory like his. He reads multiple academic essays and books from multiple kingdoms and time periods implying he’s a polyglot on an insane level. He’s amazing at investigating.

Like just incase you don’t get that, these guys got to heaven for being so smart. They were considered good enough to become a god because of their intelligence and he outsmarted them. He’s so so intelligent like yeah he’s great with a sword but that is Xie Lians thing, he’s only as good as he is because he wants to be Xie Lians equal.

This guy spent his immortality learning literally everything (except calligraphy) and he mastered all of it and sure he is immortal but it’s clear he mastered it in short spans of time. He was carving statues like Michelangelo in under 10 years. Again he learnt to be amazing with a sabre while he was still alive so like 3 years max and mostly from memory. He established a full city with labour, homes, jobs and runs it despite dying as a starving orphan at 17.

When I was very small and I didn't feel good, my mom used to make up stories to tell me. Books were nice but didn't tell me the things I wanted to know about most. I didn't get to explore them unless it was in my own imagination. And that's fun, but being told stories is better in a lot of ways. So I would ask her to tell me stories about Peter Rabbit or Robin Hood, or any other character I really loved. I would tell her what I wanted the story to be about, and she would make it up, and I could stop her anytime and ask her for more details, or to change something. I'm sure this was occasionally frustrating for her, but it's something I really enjoyed. I think it was probably part of what made me want to become a writer.

I don't feel good tonight. I'm too drained to read. Audiobooks aren't the same as somebody sitting with me and telling me a story.

I don't wish for my mom to be around very often, and I'm not really wishing for that now. But I do wish I had somebody to sit with me and be kind and make up stories for me until I feel well enough to get up and do it for myself.

Grips your face. I don't think your Cosmo is boring for being canon compliant! I actually find it refreshing tbh! It's fun to see everyone's different AUs and interpretations, but with how wide spread AU stuff is, canon compliant stuff is a nice change of pace imo!! Scratches an itch in my brain for me!!

I adore so many artists' interpretation of the characters. Whether it's for AUs or designs in general.

I just find it difficult to draw the Toons with human-like proportions, and I care a LOT about keeping my stuff canon-compliant more than others do I guess?? (Not sure)

Tho I find it funny how a lot of artists make the Toons close to the average human height and so human-like in their designs. Cause like... What do the humans themselves look like then... Are they the same height too. I can't imagine Sam McLaughlin and Sprout Seedly being the same height.

I hope this doesn't come across as slander,, 😭 Far from it. Not everyone cares about keeping things close to canon and that's completely okay. I still love everyone's work.

Dandy's World lore interests me a lot and I love basing my headcanons and comics all around it. Which is partly why I base my guys off of Qwel's style with my own spin.

There's my human designs too.. Tbh I've only really made gijinkas because if I can't give them human-like proportions as Toons then why not go full out human!
