The Mosquito's Sting: A Tale of Boundaries Challenged

Once upon a time, in an enchanted kingdom, there was a mosquito that carried West Nile fever. This mosquito bit a wealthy man and a poor one, a Jew and an Arab, a white person and a black person, women and men, heterosexual cisgender and LGBTQ+ individuals. The story tells how people created protective barriers and divisions between themselves, but nature, in the form of the mosquito, pierced through these barriers and showed how easily something from each of them could seep into the other, revealing how arbitrary and temporary all these defenses and boundaries truly were.

The king of the kingdom ordered the mosquito to be locked in a golden cage and asked the wisest person in the kingdom, a little girl who understood the language of all animals, to talk to the mosquito. The girl listened to the mosquito's story and told the king the moral lesson that the mosquito had taught. Instead of punishing the mosquito, they made it an important minister in the kingdom. The royal physician healed the mosquito, and the kingdom's scientists transformed it into a beautiful prince.

The prince married the girl when she became old enough. She was the only one who saw the wisdom in the simple mosquito that had only come to sting. To everyone's surprise, as they did not know enough about science, it turned out that the mosquito was actually female. So, the wise girl ended up marrying a mosquito princess who loved to wear princes' clothes. The two of them lived happily ever after, a bit distanced from all other humans who were unwilling to give up the barriers and divisions that separated them.

When the people discovered that the mosquito was female and had married a woman, they wanted to punish her. However, the girl, who was once a wise child, ran away with the mosquito princess to the mountains. There, they lived happily, far from people's eyes and the fears that drove society. They listened to animals, studied life principles with them, trying to deeply understand their languages. Over the years, they published scientific papers that were meant to bring human society closer to their compassionate worldview, which looked broadly at life as one intertwined woven fabric.

We tend to not express what we truly want out if fear, or set precedence of the past, or fear of failure or rejection. Love beyond those restrictions that confine you, and with every day live your life surrounded by people that give you a sense of purpose, make you feel home, make you feel at peace with who you truly are, and where you feel you belong, without compromise. Let go of what the ego wants. Look and examine inside of yourself, what do you know is right, are you following your heart?

Try not to think of the outcome

Trying not to think of the outcome. Just enjoying the journey. Sometimes i get caught up in the analytics of it all. I'm eager to be successful . I associate success with money. Because i'm not where i want to be financially I start to feel like i'm not doing enough. or the recipe i'm following is wrong. I know that's my limited belief. Now that i'm redesigning my mind i know that these thoughts are of a negative vibration. They are not aligned with who i currently am. I'm enjoying the time I put into my passions. the outcome is an after thought because I know my higher self wouldn't put me on the path that won't bring me happiness.

Everyone is in it when it comes to the wedding day, for the bragging rights, glitz and glamour no problem whatsoever but when some of the worst comes you only hear crickets. You know the for better or worse. Are we truly listening to whose supposed to be the love of your life? Or are you too busy, not interested or don’t really care? 😒😲

In the intricate dance of a marriage, communication is the thread that weaves together the delicate bonds between two individuals. However, the profound impact of not being heard in this sacred partnership cannot be understated. When one's thoughts, desires, and concerns are consistently dismissed or ignored, the foundation of trust begins to erode. The feeling of not being heard engenders feelings of isolation, frustration, and resentment, creating a chasm that grows between spouses. 🧐

The absence of effective communication breeds a sense of isolation, as thoughts and feelings remain unexpressed, thereby squandering the opportunity for growth and understanding. However, fixing this impact requires a concerted effort from both partners. It necessitates a willingness to foster an environment of active listening, empathy, and open dialogue. By acknowledging and validating each other's perspectives, couples can rebuild the broken lines of communication, rekindling trust and fostering a deeper connection. This process involves cultivating patience, vulnerability, and a commitment to change, allowing both partners to feel seen, heard, and ultimately, valued within the sacred union of marriage.

Save marriage, it’s already a war against the concept of it. Marriage is truly valuable. In these moments of vulnerability, we discover the immense power of love in healing wounds, reigniting passion, and restoring our happiness.
