The Wisdom Saga is finally out for Epic: the Musical!! We are so excited to finally be able to listen to it, especially after listening to the Thunder Saga. This rendition of The Odyssey is by far my favorite, especially with my love for music.

I should probably explain a lil bit about the world of my main OCs (Fox, Wolf, Fang, Bone) real quick.

So, Fox and Wolf are two scientists from a dimension that's very similar to ours. Has the internet, modern technology, etc.

This dimension is known as 5b.

On the other hand, Fang and Bone are from dimension 5a: A post-apocalyptic world that experienced a nuclear holocaust in 1983. Most world countries have collapsed, the environment is irradiated, and most of society in the United States live in underground bunkers.

So you might be wondering: Why did this event happen in 1983? This is based on a real-life event: Oko, a missile detection system in the Soviet Union, falsely detected missiles from the US heading to Russia. Stanislav Petrov, the man on duty at the time, ignored the warning from the system, potentially saving the world from WW3. Had he responded, the Soviet Union would have 'retaliated' by shooting missiles back in return.

That's the difference between 5a and 5b. 5a is the result of Stanislav Petrov believing the warning to be legit and convincing command to strike back immediately, causing a nuclear exchange that destroyed civilization. 5b is just like our real life world: he ignored the warning and the world exists like it does today.

I'll go into more detail in the future on the major differences between each world, Anarchy City, and how the countries of the world fare in 5a.

As promised I went ahead and continued my "ghoul guide" with a part 2 (part one linked in replies)! This one covers stuff specifically with a made up lore guide of in-world ghoul stuff as if they were a sort of unique magic entity.

This one wound up way longer and had to be split so expect a third final one eventually lmao. for now though... I'm gonna take a break and yell. Bonus extra info plus the transcript under the cut!

Bonus note: While not portrayed in the guide, it’s important to know a detail about ghouls’ origin called “memory echoes”. While ghouls are formed from humans past who lose all memory of their previous self while maintaining an assumed personality from before, at times certain instances of events, actions, items, and otherwise can trigger these “echoes”. Echoes are very rare, but a valued treasure to ghouls; they make them feel more connected to their past and more “human”. Upon triggering an echo, a ghoul will become completely listless, unable to respond or react until the echo has completed, usually within seconds.

“Memory echoes” are described as blurry faded memories that often show featureless shapes and colors, but a very strong “feeling” of a Deja-vu of the moment. They feel viscerally real and can have a mix of the senses i.e. touch and smell, but produce no recognizable faces or imagery of the self. No ghoul has ever reported fully remembering one, nor any semblance of their true past beyond the haunting leftovers.

While coined as “Feral”, new ghouls would better be designated “Raw”, “Unbound”, and “Lawlessly Dangerous”

First formed, they are still elements;

Torrential, Aimless,

Incapable of coherent thought or rules

-but with time, coherence returns to the individual

Who grows much like a life cycle’s stages without necessarily aging.

The overall cycle is the same per ghoul, yet varied enough each rises differently…

First form: “Raw” – Second form (1): “Feral” – Second form (2) – Third form: “Stabilized”

Catalyst, violent, poor formation – Unaware, wild, chaotic – Conscious; can act like oneself; less raw – fully formed and recognizable

The first form, “Raw”, is notably so violent the devil himself does not release them until stage two.

The second form in stage one of a “Feral” ghoul is much like the forces of nature; free willed and wild, understanding minimal speech.

Take caution: they can be mischievous and cause decent damage.

In the second stage of a “Feral” ghoul, they behave like typical people; however, they’re still very free and may choose to never fully stabilize.

Note: you can tell they’ve reached this stage by presence of a tail and civil habits.

If desired, a ghoul reaches the final form: “Stabilized”. They’re transformed into a stable humanoid body, a form less powerful but safer.

Note: Talented ghouls can change form at will in this stage between secondary Feral and Stable.

When it comes to location, each form is most likely to be found:

Raw: Hell, contained

Feral (Stage 1): wilds/natural areas

Feral (Stage 2): wilds and civil areas

Stabilized: anywhere people go

Seeing feral ghouls is not uncommon, and can even be considered lucky!

They tend to provide free protection to keep their home

Ghouls can only stabilize via ministry ritual;

One can assume they’re ministry members if stable, even off duty.

Ghouls are uncommon, but found most places if looked for;

This seems especially true near ministry placements.

Ghouls only form from adults and don’t “age” traditionally, yet they’re still mortal

Deceased ghouls do not seem to return or recycle.

Summoning intentionally pulls only second stage feral ghouls or stable ghouls from anywhere,

They don’t always like this however (see other guide).

The cycle of ghouls serves a main purpose – as forces for the Dark One, in return for rebirth

However, there are two channels through which they serve.

1) Natural defense against corrupted holy magic

Non-stable ghouls defend at will naturally where they live

2) training to fight, protect, and uphold the ministry’s efforts in the name of the Devil.

Contrary to belief, summonings cannot grab from “nothing”;

Like the creation of a ghoul,

Their element, once developed, is what becomes pulled by nature

The force of such pull is incredible,

A disorientating test of will so great…

…it can render even the most sound minds rather violent.

This is why while some choose to stabilize, others may not;

But should a mind change, they can be freed or re-summoned.

Alternative to wild summoning, one can summon from trained ghouls over feral;

Many ghouls are trained for ministry positions all over, but any can be summoned if unassigned.

Though stabilized, unassigned ghouls are not contractually bound to anyone until assigned.

They’re great for extra work hands and being able to know what kind of team mates you’ll get without leaving it to chance.

Summoning any ghoul however reverts them to feral form, and the challenge to tame them remains the same.

Just because you know a ghoul does not mean an easy summon.

Finally, be warned: forcing unwanted breaking or upholding of a summoning contract

Will have dire consequences.

Aside from rarity of an element, there are “power classes” within each element.

Tiers:

Rarity of an element does not equal strength.

The break down is as follows:

Rare – extreme and dangerous power. These ghouls earn a specialized title.

Quite strong, stand out in their class and very sought after.

Most common tier; average and decent powers that are expectable.

Weak powers, but some uses are applicable.

Uncommon – ghouls who possess little to no powers. Ghouls in this tier may at times suddenly change power tier without warning to any other category.

S-Tier ghouls are quite rare and a sight to behold- truly, they embody nature’s power.

- Imagine spending the last moments of your life in the hospital, listening to the beeps of the life support and watching life pass by through the window. You already bid your goodbyes to your family and friends, who grieved and hugged you for the last time. After years of fighting cancer, you decided to put an end to it and admit defeat. You rather fall into endless sleep than spend more time of your life in a hospital, bedridden, and going through chemo after chemo. It was sad, but you were at peace with your impending fate. 

- You have spent your time wisely before coming to the hospital. You experienced everything you wanted. You drew and painted the last of the art pieces you could and witnessed firsthand the people’s joy and awe at seeing your art. Your life as a painter had come to fulfillment. There was now nothing else you wanted to do. You were content and ready to travel to the unknown. 

- You close your eyes, feeling the warmth of the sunlight on your face and smelling the scent of the flowers near your bed one last time. You took your last breath, feeling yourself pass, unable to open your eyes any longer. 

- You imagined many things you might face when your soul finally left your body and you wandered into the unknown realm of the dead. However, you did not expect to hear sounds and open your eyes to a completely different world, filled with mechanical beings, in a body of a giant robot. 

- You barely had time to process what was happening. You and many others were greeted by another robotic being, who welcomed you as a new generation of transformers on Cybertron. 

- It clicked sometime later that you had reincarnated or been born into a new life. But strangely, you still remembered your previous life as a human. 

- However, you were not frightened by the new situation. You decided to take your previous name as your designation and embrace your new life in this strange world. 

- You marveled the strangeness of this new world. It was unlike anything you had seen in your life as a human. Everything was mechanical and you had a unique ability to change shape. It was beautiful. The culture, the history, everything was new and you wanted to explore all of it. But like all beautiful things, there were ugly sides to this world. 

- You found out Cybertron operated on a caste system. You were given a job based on your alt-form, and though you did not end up with a bad profession and were treated well by your new colleagues, you could not help but feel sadness and watch how the lower-class bots were treated. You saw how they were forced to work in dangerous places and how they were treated like lesser beings, even if their professions were one of Cybertron’s vital sources of energon, the sustenance, and the lifeblood of transformers. 

- It reminded you how humanity used to operate, and unnoticeably still did even in modern times. 

- You wished you could do something to change that, but due to your own status in the system— your options were limited. Even if you were not part of the lower class, you weren’t part of the higher class either. You were somewhere in the middle. 

- You utilized your skills and knowledge from your previous life, which earned you a safe position. You learned new necessary skills to survive in the system, helping the less fortunate whenever you could. 

- You made many friends, even a few from the higher class, who did not view the lower class the way most did. 

- After some time, you began to yearn for your previous home and the beauty of organic nature. Cybertron was beautiful in its own way, but you did not deny your desire to share the beauty of organic fauna and flora, especially when these transformers knew very little about them. 

- It made you think of your previous passion for arts, so you began sketching and painting during your free time, using supplies your credits allowed. 

- You painted whatever you could from memory, painting flowers and landscapes you painted before. You considered applying yourself as a student to a research institute, but due to your status – you couldn’t. 

- Your friends were enamored with your art pieces. Even your friends from the higher class were intrigued. They suggested you try selling them, and the idea appealed to you. Perhaps you finally found an opportunity to support the bots in the lower class. Unfortunately, you had to drop the idea when you failed to sell even one of your art pieces. The idea of a nameless middle-class bot painting such pieces simply did not gain any attention. 

- It was a low blow to your esteem, but you then found a way to overcome that through one of your friends, who was a higher-class bot. By putting their name on your paintings and claiming to be the artist behind them, your art finally gained attention and started to sell. Wanting to help the lower class, you and your friend agreed to donate the funds to support charities and the less fortunate. 

- They did feel bad taking the credit for your work, but you did not mind, since you finally found a way to help the lower-class bots. It also provided you with more art supplies, allowing you to continue painting and making new art pieces. 

- Even if your friend was the one who gained the fame and the marvel for your art, you were happy. Some researchers even became interested in organic life, which was a win for you. 

- You sometimes wandered into the sectors and levels where the lower class lived, painting portraits of flowers and landscapes into the empty walls of the streets. It was your way of giving the lower class something beautiful to look at. They would look at you with suspicion whenever you came, but then gaze in wonder when you painted something they had never seen before.

- Whenever some of them mustered the courage to come and talk to you, asking about the paintings, you would happily tell them what they were and their meanings, which would leave them even more in awe. 

- You were considered strange and even your name felt unusual. However, you were then regarded with respect, for your artistic skills and kind nature toward others. Some thought you were some kind of researcher due to your knowledge of the organic flora, but even so, the paintings you created on the walls and concerns of what they considered slump were left untouched. 

- It was silent appreciation and you even noticed some of them chase away vandals who attempted to ruin your work. It warmed your spark, even if not all of them appreciated your small gifts of art. 

- Unknowns to you, your small paintings would last even when the war between Autobots and Decepticons arose. Some of your artwork could be found left untouched even if everything else around them lay in ruins. No one would know what happened to you, the strange artist behind them. Your name and figure would become things of mystery, but those who still remember them and you would leave them alone and even mark them as a zone of neutrality.

🔵🟣 Thoughtform - An umbrella term used over many psychological & spiritual communities for any type of autonomous entities manifested by thought. Can be collective or singular, psychological or metaphysical. Very broad term, good source encompassing multiple definitions pending (Similar to: tulpamancy, parogenic, willogenic, faciogenic, senpiamancy)

🔵 Tulpamancy - "A tulpa is an entity created in the mind, acting independently of, and parallel to your own consciousness. Soulbonder refers to anyone who gains soulbonds, and may be considered a kind of host. Soulbonds may be described as headmates based on characters or real individuals, and may be viewed as walk-ins from another world that existed independently from the soulbonder before arriving, or hold the metaphysical belief that they did. It may also be used to refer to a fictive that takes a separate sentience, especially among writers. 🔵 Blueprinted - "Blueprinted is a term [...] in which headmates are first created as dormant and entirely blank fragments who then are (usually) given a separately prepared set of details to take upon, which typically furthers them into a more developed headmate. Sometimes, blank fragments might be brought out of dormancy in an unaltered state, left to develop further on their own. A set of details given to a blank fragment in blueprinted (sisa)systems is often referred to as a blueprint. 🔴 Addgenic - "Addgenic refers to systems or headmates who [either]: Wish to become the largest system they can be, wish to become a larger system in a controlled and healthy manner, wish to become a larger system, but uncontrollably, [or] are obsessed with becoming a large system, which leads them to intentionally create headmates."

The term can also be used as an origin term for “accidental [created] systems/members”, who arise from deliberate action, but not intent to become plural/create system members." 🔵 Narrogenic - "Narrogenic is an origin term referring to a system forming from a singlet talking to themselves and gradually grew more and more separate until it felt like they were talking to an entirely separate entity. While this may apply to just the first headmate, it does not have to be restricted to them, nor does it have to be applied to all headmates." (This method is commonly seen in parogenic, willogenic and tulpamancy systems)

🔵🟣 O-System - "An o-system is a system where the headmates are original "characters" who, once created, took over their development and introduced themselves, their backstory, and more. They tend to have their own headspace that relates to their backstory and life, and they tend not to be able to fully front, but can mask themselves onto other headmates from different system origins as a way to connect with the outside physical universe/world. While many systems can have headmates who felt to be or originally were "original characters", omates are not headmates in the same way that headmates of other system origins are. While they have sentience and their own lives and personalities, they do not exist within this universe to any degree except that osters have brought them in via creating them here. They exist in their own lives and backstories, often expressing those lives in alternate headspaces. Omates can develop and jump from an ostem to another system and gain more connection to this world/universe." (Similar to: Soulbonding, primagenic, charagenic)

🔵 Senpiamancy - "Senpiamancy is the practice of creating headmates through various techniques. A headmate created through senpiamancy is called a "senpia". The term was created as an alternative to the term tulpamancy and specifically denotes a person who believes the creation of their headmates is due to psychological reasons, whereas tulpamancy can refer to people with both metaphysical and psychological beliefs." The formation of willopartnergenic headmates should always be consensual with the muse in question and with the intention to be handled in a healthy way. Willopartnergenic may also define headmates who were fragments or already forming which were helped along with the aid or given purpose of a muse."

This could be due to forgetting details about themself and therefore creating alternate versions of themself causing to form a system or new headmates. Alzgenic is in relation to catharigenic as the creation is oftentimes unintentional."

-🔵 Artifigenic - [Abuse & programming TW] "Artifigenic describes a system or sisasystem that was intentionally created by one or more abusers. It is inherently traumagenic or stressgenic in origin."

🔵 Cuilform - "Cuilform or cuilformed refers to systems or headmates that were created as a result of or during psychosis. Because of this, cuilforms are typically also psychosis holders. Cuilform headmates, or cuilforms, may identify with additional origin terms, depending on the context of the psychosis. Cuilform is not exclusive to those diagnosed, formally or otherwise, with any related mental conditions. This term can be used by any system regardless of origin. Cuilform references cuil, which refers to cuil theory. This defines a cuil as a unit of measurement denoting one abstraction away from reality. In the context of psychosis and headmates created through psychosis, cuil can measure the severity of the psychosis in either the positive or negative symptom direction."

🔴 Maliciogenic - (intra-system abuse TW) refers to a headmate, subsystem, or otherwise that falls under created [/etc] umbrellas, but specifies that they were created by another headmate with malicious intent. For example, it could be that said headmate decided to create another headmate/subsystem/etc in order to cause uncertainty or instability in the system, or with the intent to harm the system or those within it in some way.

🔵 Naiagenic - "Naiagenic is an origin term for headmates formed, intentionally or not, as a direct result of a manic or manic-like state. It is not exclusive to those diagnosed, formally or otherwise, with any related mental conditions. This term can be used by any system regardless of origin."

🔵 Paragenic - "The term paragenic describes a system's or headmate's origin as having been caused or influenced by Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder, neuronarration, immersive daydreaming, or other similar neurodivergencies."

🔵 Parotraumagenic - "A parotraumagenic system or headmate was created to deal with trauma; for example, to ward off loneliness during bullying, or someone to do tasks the host was unable to do due to triggers. Typically, said creation is a conscious decision."

🔵🟣 Pariotraumagenic - "Pariotraumagenic is an origin that means having come from both trauma inside and outside of the system. It can be considered a combination of traumagenic and pariogenic or walk-in. There are a variety of ways that a pariotraumagenic member could join the system. Examples include: a person or being being brought to the system from another timeline to help with trauma, a person or being joining the system to escape trauma in another timeline, a person or being, being a walk-in, who was altered by the system's trauma upon joining, or someone walking in who is not yet fully formed." 🔵 Temagenic - [System/Member Death TW] "Temagenic (from Greek "τεμάχιο" [temáchio] meaning "fragment, scrap" ) refers to a system that came about through the prior dismantling of one or more systems. It may occur any number of times, including indefinitely. This deconstruction may come about willingly or involuntarily due to external trauma, inter-system conflict, or a system's host or another headmate in a position of power stepping down or being forcibly removed from their position. It may or may not include the death of one or more headmates, particularly the previous system's host(s) though this is not necessarily a prerequisite. It may also include deconstruction of social norms in the place of or alongside social structure, particularly for systems whose origin systems have no fixed hierarchical establishment."

🔵 Traumaform - "Traumaform refers to systems who are created through thoughtform and traumagenic origins. This can be due to trauma causing the system to split headmates intentionally to deal with said trauma, but also can happen as a result of involuntary splitting due to trauma. While this can be seen as a partially endogenic term, this origin results from primarily trauma. Despite this, systems of any origin can use this term." (Similar to: Parotraumagenic)

🟣 Anamriel - "Anamriel is a system identity characterized by the deep-seated feeling that two or more of its members are, or were at one point, a soul of their own, housed by and sharing one physical form amongst multiple potential soulforms. Soulform in this context refers to a member of a system or individual who holds the belief that they are, or were, their own soul to be their personal truth with no physical evidence to prove it either way." The body may be experienced as a gate itself, leading to one or multiple worlds besides shared reality. A gateway system may not have an innerworld that is experienced as internal to the system.[ The term co-location similarly describes an experience of living several existences in different realities, connected by gates."

🟣 Soulbased - "Soulbased refers to when a system's plurality is affected by their soul. Whether it be having multiple souls, their soul splitting into pieces, etc."

🔵🟣 Walk-in - "Walk-in is a word that has different meanings in different system communities. A common definition refers to a headmate who comes from elsewhere in the inner world or another world other than shared reality. This phenomenon or manifestation most commonly occurs within gateway systems, or similar types. The term may also be used in tulpamancy or thoughtforms to describe a tulpa that was not created by the host and appear fully formed. There are many different explanations for why this can occur among tulpamancers and some don't consider them tulpas at all."

Tragibox Lore is currently being rewritten by the new owner of the project, Ruby Waters. Some things might get changed!

Ruby has kindly asked to not ship characters within Tragibox, this includes Neester x Lilac. Screenshots of this boundary can be found on the Lore Archive Masterdoc linked below. DaveMack is excepted from this since it's a canon ship! Canon ships are allowed.

Official Orin Ayo Lore Doc (Wayback Machine Link): Might be a bit laggy on phone. Try not to touch the text too much because it sends you to refresh the page (HAPPENED MANY TIMES...). There's a missing picture of Acheture Blunt's appearance before death but I managed to dig around a little and find it! It's currently on the lore archive below.

Tragibox Lore Archive Masterdoc: A document by me. Archives the official lore doc, in-game profiles (in progress), discord lore questions answered and some other things. My directory basically!!! Don't request editing access. Note: When opening in a mobile browser, check "desktop size/browser view" to be able to see the images better, otherwise they will look blurry.

Official Tragibox Discord Server: Activity varies a lot but very fun! There is interesting lore material around and you can ask lore questions. Might serve to track the progress of the project in the future! Also good to interact with other Tragibox fans. Blue eyes?? blue eyes?? the only clear shot of Tan is a closed-eyed corpse, but the source (the movie with that shot in it) shows somehow that Tan's got blue eyes?? We cant see any eye color, we can't see what side of that brown hair the padawan braid was on- we don't even know if Tan was a blur with a blue saber or a green saber and just have to trust the explanation later that it was blue unlike the green promo pic, but you think blue eyes?? oh no hon. Tan never had eyes of any color, just like Tan never was really a padawan- only ever a dead child.

These I mean:

Presenting, for entirely legitimate purposes such as archiving, alt captions, and education, a source of print-capable copies of the posters!

Here's instructions on wheatpaste, the best cheap stuff to stick up posters, also for archival and historical education purposes of course To make wheatpaste, mix two parts white or whole-grain wheat flour with three parts water, stir out any lumps, and heat the mixture to a boil, stirring continuously so as not to burn it. When it thickens, add more water; continue cooking it on low heat for at least half an hour, stirring continuously. Some people add a little sugar or cornstarch for extra stickiness; don’t be afraid to experiment. Wheatpaste, once made, will last for a while if kept in sealed containers, though eventually it will dry up or become rotten—and sealed containers of it have been known to burst, to unfortunate effect. Keep them in a refrigerator if you can. You can also obtain wallpaper adhesive at any home improvement store; this comes in pre-mixed buckets or boxes of powder. Wallpaper adhesive is much quicker and easier to mix than wheatpaste, and not much more expensive even if you are paying for it. Don’t get the brands advertised as “easy to remove,” obviously—get the most heavy-duty adhesive available. (-Crimethinc, linked below)
