guys ive been drawing so much lately I've been starting to actually hate it 🙁

#i LOVE drawing and always wanna do it #but lately I feel like I'm being forced to draw stuff 🥲 even if it's of my own doing #art class. the school project I just started. the animations I make. other stuff.#I feel like I'm constantly on time limits for them (and for some of them i AM 😭)#even if there's literally 0 reasons for me to rush myself i feel SO guilty if I don't #especially when I share the wips here and ppl leave rlly sweet comments like “this is awesome! I can't WAIT to see it done <3”#those comments make me SO happy #but once my motivation starts to wane after working on a wip for days I'm like “no I HAVE to continue I've basically promised everyone this #even if I didn't... actually promise anything to anyone.... 😬#when I asked for drawing requests a few days ago I was like “haha I'll probably only get one or two ☺️”#then they just kept on coming and coming and I'm like “FUCK. WE'RE REALLY IN IT NOW 😨 SWEET MOTHER OF PEARL WHAT HAVE I DONE”#and even though i KNOW I can take my sweet ass time on them #I'm still like “fuck. I NEED TO DO THIS NOW. Crochet update: guess who has two thumbs and went through a skein he just bought in three hours and still isn't finished yet (totally not me)

#crochet #art #fiber art #this isn't even for my hoodie this is my filler project while i wait for my hoodie yarn to come back in stock #i thought i lost my crochet hook for a minute and almost died 😨#this L/11 hook is being loved so much like. it's actually the only hook i've used besides the I/9 one i practiced with #there are only 2.75mm difference in their sized (5.25 vs 8.00) but WOW you can really feel the difference #this filler project is the cat blanket so why did my cat decide to lay NEXT TO THE BLANKET instead of on it 😭#also the 'guess who has two thumbs and...' saying is just so funny to me #like. why do you need to specify you have two thumbs. what makes you special FOR having two thumbs #alright i'm going back to crocheting my hoodie because i still have one (1) skein right now that i was saving #if they don't have the colour i guess i'll just have to order it (i don't wanna)#actually i'm making up a swatch of different stitches to show my dad because i want to show him visually when i talk about crochet #and THEN i'll get back to my project #actually nvm i hate acrylic yarn i am SO MAD (it's not cooperating with me lmao)

My sample pins arrived!! 🤩👽🐰

The other three in the Summer Blubbin' set are drying bc the pinbacks came off with their rear protective sheets and I had to glue them back on. 😭 I'm pretty happy with their sizes overall! Bogos binted came out kind of large and the raygun came out kind of small by comparison though, so I'll probably see what I can do to fix them. And with the Blubby pins, I might lower the opacity of her blush, it printed kinda dark.

In addition to these I got a few extra designs for funsies. Some TMBG pins based off the Hotel Detective MV for my friends and I who are going to see them this year!! 🤩 One with that WTTH photo I did a redraw of, just for me. And two JFKs (Clone High) bc I thought they'd make funny collar pins hehe. I keep meaning to watch the new season but I want to watch the original again first... hard to find the time!!

#I have drafts for a bunch of the other original clones too. incredible that I actually started writing on chapter two of Ripples, I never thoughts I’d ever pick up wip from 2018/19 but well! You really never know! and seriously eying the absolute fun that is my old naruto fic that I needdd to get to as well.

what I like about this whole thing is trying to work with what I’ve written even if I don’t agree necessarily with headcanons/some characterisations etc of what I did and was into them but I think it’s honestly more fun trying to work with it and see how to make it more sense to me. I have very fun ideas and you know what, it seems truly lately I’ve been getting into making more long formed writing/stories and yeah, takes longer but funny how my writing is like. :) no can do for shorter stuff ahahah funny considering I mostly only written short stuff. anyways! back to this —

biggest issue of now is needing to revisit canon and remember actual plots of what was going on and to recheck. im like Lazy about that stuff so it’ll probs take me a while to get to revisit canon even if I don’t have to completely reread for some other wips (thank god)

im really so far enjoying the process of just… letting see how it takes me and building up the plot and HVAING FUN. like lol past me did a cliffhanger ending and I don’t remember if I thought of who that “dark figure was” but clearly I don’t remember and have to think of plot and just going for whatever comes to mind and seems the most fun is Extremly fun. ahahah. also im trying to get the same-ish writing style since I want consistency and well! a lot of it was fun, tho just needed a little cuttback on the a lot of words and more paragraph breathing space personally. anyways yeah :D
