I'll Protect You (Short)
It was late, and the concert was over. I decided to wait outside, near the bus to see if I might get a chance to meet the band. A small crowd had gathered, with the same hope as me. I had come alone this time. I'm not especially good at socializing in these situations, so I stood alone, off to the side a bit. As I waited, I looked down to check myself. My corset was still in place, snugly supporting my back and covering most of the black top I had worn under it. Just enough cleavage was showing to make me feel sexy. My black skinny jeans were dust free. I quickly made an adjustment to the faux leather hip bag I wore, and made sure the straps were still done properly. I grabbed my mirror out of it, and checked my makeup. My eyeliner was still mostly in place, though I wiped away a few smudges under my eyes. I repositioned my glasses and looked down to replace the mirror in my bag. As I did, I heard the crowd calling his name.
Toru made his way out of the building, walking at a leisurely pace toward the bus. The crowd moved toward him, but he held his hand up, grabbing his pack of smokes from his pocket and pointing to them. Ah, I thought, he wants to smoke before meeting us. Respectfully, the crowd stayed away and gave him a few minutes. I was standing somewhat closer to him than the others, though I hadn't moved. I watched the crowd, and him, patiently waiting.
Just as he was finishing his cigarette, a man came stumbling by, obviously inebriated. The man looked at Toru, and suddenly shouted, "Hey, what are you lookin' at?" Before Toru could respond, the man rushed him. My heart sank. He pinned him to the side of the bus, pushing his forearm into Toru's throat. Without a thought, I moved. I grabbed the back of man's shirt and yanked. He stumbled back, looking for me. He found me behind him and turned, then lunged at me, attempting to throw a punch. With reflexes I never knew I had, I stepped back, narrowly avoiding the blow. I was beyond furious, and stepped forward, striking at his throat. Something akin to a growl emanated from me as he coughed, but I was not finished. I thrust my palm into his diaphragm, causing him to double over, then grabbed him by the back of his head and brought my knee up, into his face. Stooped low, he tackled me in a rage, and this time, I was not so lucky to dodge.
He knocked me to the ground, and punched, landing a hit which I knew was going to cause a black eye. I braced for another hit, but it didn't come. I looked up, and a blur of motion was all I saw. The next thing I knew, the guy was on the ground, out cold. Toru stepped away from the man, toward me. I became aware of the total silence surrounding me. He reached out and offered his hand to me. I took it and let him pull me up. "Are you ok?" He asked, looking at me with concern. "I'm...fine," I slurred. The world had begun spinning, and my knees went weak. I desperately tried to hold onto consciousness. Everything went black.
There was something soft under my head, but I could feel that I was on the ground. I opened my eyes and was greeted by a crowd of worried faces. Above me, Toru was looking at me intently, his mouth twisted with concern. "Are you ok, do you need anything?" He asked gently. I realized that he'd sat down and was supporting my head in his lap. I felt his hand on my forehead, lightly brushing my bangs away from my eyes. "I need sugar, a soda." I said quietly. Just then, the other members of the band walked out. Questioning looks from them had Toru quickly explaining what happened. He mentioned I needed a drink. "I'll get it!" Tomoya quickly said, running back inside.
My head was throbbing, but I couldn't help but enjoy the position I was in. I heard people from the crowd trying to get Taka's attention, for pictures and autographs. "Give us a few minutes." He said. I rolled onto my side, groaning a bit. Toru rested his hand on my upper back, which despite the pain I was in, sent a thrill through me. Moments later, Tomoya returned carrying a can of coke. He opened it as he approached, and knelt in front of me as Toru helped me sit up. I glanced over, noticing that the drunk man was still on the ground, snoring loudly.
Toru supported me, and I took the drink offered to me and sipped it slowly. I was shaking. I figured it must have been the adrenaline crash. I'd never been in a fight before, nor did I realize I could fight. "Thank you," I said quietly, looking at Tomoya, still crouched in front of me. "You're ok?" He inquired. I nodded. "I'll be alright," I told him, smiling slightly. He beamed at me, making my smile spread, and become genuine. "You're pretty tough," he said. "I try," my response came automatically. Taka stepped around, and looked me in the eye. Tomoya looked back at him, and decided to step away from me. I looked up at him, starting to feel less weak. "Why did you do that? Toru can take care of himself." Taka said somewhat sternly. His concern was obvious. He cares for his fans, I thought, and felt a small stab of guilt. "I don't know. I saw someone I cared for in danger, and I acted on instinct," I murmured.
He knelt down in front of me and put his hands on my shoulders, looking me in the eye. His gaze was so intense, it was almost too much to bear. He leaned forward, and pulled me into a hug. "Stupid," he whispered in my ear, "but thank you." He pulled away. I smiled at him, and he stood. I started to shiver. Great, I thought, my blood sugar must have dropped as well. When my blood sugar drops and starts to return to normal, I always get really cold. It was annoying, as I hate being cold. Toru took notice of my shivering. "What's wrong?" He asked, looking around from behind me. "I'm freezing. It's totally normal for me, nothing to worry about, " I responded.
Ryota, who had been standing there quietly this whole time, spoke up. He said something in Japanese to Toru, pointing at the bus. Toru responded, then shifted. "Let's go inside for a few minutes." He said. I nodded, and he helped me to my feet. I let him guide me, and he opened the door to the bus and stepped aside to let me go first. It wasn't my first time in a bus like this, but despite that, I managed to trip on my way up the steps. "God damn it," I laughed at myself. Behind me, I heard Toru suppressing a laugh. I blushed as I realized that in my graceful maneuver, I'd pretty much planted my butt in his face. "Ok?" He asked, still trying not to laugh. "Yep! I just forgot how feet work for a second," I said, righting myself and finally getting into the bus. He laughed this time, following behind me.
He pointed at the couch and told me to sit, while still laughing slightly. He disappeared deeper into the bus, then quickly returned carrying a blanket. He sat next to me and draped the blanket over me. I accepted the blanket thankfully, shivering. We sat in silence for a few minutes, as I waited for my body to return to a normal temperature. Suddenly, he spoke. "I didn't get your name," he said. "Oh, it's Alyse!" I said. "I guess you know my name," he flashed me his devastating crooked smile. I blushed a bit, "Yeah, I do." He asked me about myself, and we chatted for a bit. I was finally starting to warm up. He looked into my eyes, and asked, "Did you mean what you told Taka? Your first instinct was to protect me?" I looked into those gorgeous eyes of his, and said, "Of course. Why would I lie?" He looked at the forming bruise around my eye, and reached out. He gently touched near my eye, running his thumb over it. "You shouldn't have done that. I should have this, not you," he said quietly.
My heart swelled. "Well, I can't take it back now, and I wouldn't," I said, sticking my tongue out in response. He pulled his hand away, and began laughing heartily. His laugh thrilled me, and I couldn't help but join him. When our laughing subsided, we continued to smile at each other. He frowned slightly, looking as though he wanted to say something. "What?" I asked, concerned. "You're different," he said simply. I looked down at myself. "Really? I hadn't noticed," I giggled. He smiled again, and reached out, this time taking a lock of my hair, feeling it. I put my hand over his, looking into his eyes. Smoothly, he moved his hand from my hair to my neck, and I let my hand follow. I leaned into his touch, enjoying the feeling.
He moved closer to me, gently pulling me closer to him with his grip. I reached out to him, mirroring him. My heart thundered in my chest as he moved closer. He leaned forward, until his forehead touched mine. I could feel my face flushing. He tilted his head up, his lips coming close to mine, testing, but not yet moving in. I let myself close the distance, touching my lips to his. Heat spread throughout my body as his lips teased mine, still unsure. Suddenly, as though he'd found the answer he was searching for, he pulled me in deeper. His mouth devastated mine, as he pulled me onto his lap, the blanket tossed to the side. His arms wrapped around me, pulling me closer still. I felt every bit of urgency in his touch. I ran my fingers through his hair, grabbing a fistful.
A moan escaped from my lips as he suddenly bit into the tender flesh of my neck. I heard a quiet sound of satisfaction in response. The feeling of his mouth on me, his hands feeling my body overwhelmed me. My hips moved against him, seemingly of their own accord. I could feel him beneath me, straining against the restriction of his clothes. His mouth found mine again, his tongue tantalized mine. Like a flash of lightning, I gasped, reaching my peak. His eyes met mine, watching my face as I struggled to stifle the sounds of pleasure. He pulled me in again, silencing me with a hungry kiss.
We were so wrapped up in each other, we didn't hear the door to the bus open. Moments later, I became aware of a presence. I looked over to see Taka standing half a step from where he'd come in, frozen in place. He wore a look of shock, and muttered, "Oh." He turned on his heel, and promptly went back down the steps. I heard him shooing the others back before loudly saying, "I think we left something inside, we should go check!" Toru and I exchanged a glance before laughing. "Awkward," I said, still flushed from excitement. He grinned sheepishly, before letting his head drop back in defeat. I sighed, and started to shift my weight off of him. He grabbed onto my hips, holding me in place. "Not yet," he said. He leaned forward to kiss me again, more gently. I kissed him back, restraining myself.
He let go, and helped me to get off his lap. I sat back down next to him, sighing. He pulled his phone from his pocket. "Can I have your number?" He asked. "Of course," I answered. He pulled up his contacts and handed it to me. I filled in my information and handed it back to him. He looked at it, and typed something. A ding sounded from my phone, letting me know he'd just sent me a text. "So you have mine too," he said. "I should get going. It's late, and I have a bit of a drive home," I said, regretfully. "I'll walk you to your car," he responded, standing.
He offered his hand, and helped me stand up. He took a moment to adjust himself before walking toward the door. I followed behind him, and I managed to navigate the steps this time without incident. He waited for me, and matched my stride as I started walking in the direction of my car. The lot I'd parked in was only a block away, and it was the only one left there. When we reached it, I pulled my keys off the side of my bag and unlocked the door. He leaned against my car, looking at me. I stepped up to him, looking at his gorgeous face, then put my arms around him, letting myself lean into him. His arms came around me, and I took in his scent, mixed with the night air.
"Is it ok if I come back to see you, after the tour?" He asked quietly, into my ear. I pulled back and smiled at him. "Eager to finish what we started?" I teased. He grinned and looked down, shaking his head. "I like to finish things I start," he said, letting his forehead rest against mine. "No one likes a quitter," I joked. He chuckled, and kissed me gently. "Let me know when you get home safe," he said. "I will," I answered, looking him in the eye. I stepped back and opened my car door. I sat in my seat, and he leaned in to kiss me once more, before closing my door for me. He walked away, and waved as he glanced back. I waved back, watching him go. I started my car and put on my seatbelt. I drove away with a smile on my face, and a hope for tomorrow I hadn't expected to be leaving with.

The Concert (part 12)
I looked at him, not knowing what to say. He smiled again, and cupped my face with his hand. “I’m going to miss you,” he said quietly. “I’ll miss you too,” I said, frowning. He pulled my face closer to his and kissed me. “We should try to enjoy this time. We won’t see each other for a few days, and we definitely won’t be able to be alone like this when we’re on the road,” he said. I nodded, trying to clear the sad thoughts from my mind. He stood, then pulled me up, twirling me around quickly. I felt his arms come around me from behind, and his breath on my cheek as he rested his head on my shoulder. My heart fluttered as I felt him move closer and pull me tighter against him. His warmth seeped into my skin, and I sighed, feeling content and happy for the moment. He started moving, scooting me forward. I giggled as he pushed me slowly toward the bedroom without letting go.
We made into the bedroom after a lot of stumbling and laughter, then fell onto the bed together. His arms still around me, he squeezed me tightly and snuggled against my back, then kissed the back of my head. I smiled, and attempted to turn around to face him. His strong arms kept me in place. I laughed and struggled until he finally loosened his grip. When I rolled over, I faked an exasperated look, to which he responded with a wide grin. I smiled, breaking my pretense. I kissed him lightly and smiled again. He pulled me closer to his body and kissed my face several times. I giggled at him and scrunched my face. "That tickles," I laughed. "Please don't kick me," he said in half-joking tone. "I'll try my best," I responded. He smirked at me. I reached up to touch his face, running my thumb across his cheek. His wound was healing, and the bruise was changing color. I felt a little upset; it marred his beautiful face. I tried not to let it show. He looked into my eyes, seeming to understand, but said nothing. He touched my face as well. We gazed at each other for a few moments. He made a silly face at me, making me laugh. He chuckled, then pulled me closer again. I snuggled into him and closed my eyes, taking comfort in his embrace.
I awoke to him trying to shift me so that he could get up. I frowned, realizing what time it was. He had to leave now, to meet up with the others and get going to their next destination. He looked into my eyes apologetically. "I was trying not to wake you," he said quietly. I sat up, shaking off the sleep. "I would have been pissed if you had left without waking me up," I groggily responded. "I'm sorry, I just..." he trailed off. I understood. This was going to be hard for both of us. I leaned against him. He put his arm around me. A horn honked outside, signaling the arrival of his ride. He turned to me and cradled my face in his hands. I looked into his eyes, holding back tears. He leaned in close and kissed me deeply. "I'll see you in a few days," he said gently. "Yes," I murmured. He stood, and pulled me up after him and into a tight hug. He kissed my forehead, then turned and walked out of the room. I sat back down, listening. He descended the steps, and shortly after, I heard the front door shut. A car door closed and the car drove away. I let the tears I had been holding back come. I felt irritated with myself. "It's just a few days Livi. Keep it together!" I said aloud.
--Toru--
I sat in the car, thinking about how crazy the past few days had been. I hadn't expected to start dating anyone right now, let alone fall in love. The city sped by, and soon I was at the hotel. I paid the driver and quickly went inside. I needed to pack up quickly so we could get on the road. I reached the room, and the door opened. Ryota smiled sympathetically at me, then walked back into the room, leaving the door open behind him. I must look as bad as I feel. I walked in, and packed my things on autopilot. We loaded everything into the cart in the hallway, as Tomoya and Taka did. We never brought much into the hotels, just the basics, so we fit everything onto one cart.
Our tour manager approached us. "So, this was quite the weekend!" He said, grinning. "It's too early for this," Taka grumbled. "How's your face, Toru?" He asked me. "It's fine. It looks worse than it is," I answered quietly, still ashamed of how I had acquired my injury. He walked up to me and put his hand on my shoulder. "Honestly, man, I'm glad you're alright. It could have been a lot worse. I'm sorry I wasn't there," he said. "There's nothing you could have done. You needed to spend time with your family while you were here," Taka interjected, saving me from having to talk about it. We got everything out to the waiting bus, loaded in and got in the road. I sat, wishing more than anything that Livi could have been going with us now.

Finished it!
Music Fest Fantasy
I was at a music festival, and both Orbitus and One OK Rock were going to be playing there that night. I was there helping Orbitus with their setup and whatever else they needed me to do. I was helping them get their equipment moved onto the stage they would be playing on in a few hours, when suddenly someone ran into me, knocking me over. I dropped the guitar case that I had been carrying, and I heard a voice start apologizing profusely. A hand reached down to help me up. I looked up and to realize that it was Toru from One OK Rock. My friend Andy, the singer from Orbitus jogged over and angrily yelled at Toru, “What the hell are you doing?! You could have hurt her!” “Chill out Andy, it was an accident! Don’t tear his head off. I’m fine, no harm done,” I say. “I’m sorry! I wasn’t looking where I was going.” Toru continued trying to apologize, looking back and forth between me and Andy. Andy gave Toru an angry glance, then seemed to think better of continuing to yell at him. He touched my shoulder before walking away.

Unending Passions
He looked into my eyes with raw passion, as he held my body tightly against his. Suddenly his mouth found mine, and my mind shut down as the depth of his kiss overwhelmed my senses. He pulled my shirt up, parting from me only long enough to bring it over my head. His hands caressed the bare skin of my back, then found the clasp of my bra. I giggled slightly as he struggled to unhook the clasp, but he succeeded before I could reach back to help him. My bra fell, exposing the naked mounds of my breasts. He admired me for a moment before running his hands up my stomach, then taking his time sensually massaging the swells of my chest.
My heart raced under his hands, anticipating all that was to come. He quickly removed his shirt under my touch, then moved toward me, again pulling my lips to his. I reached down to find the buckle of his belt, and easily opened it. I pulled on the button of his worn jeans, undoing it in a swift motion and pulling the zipper open. He leaned down to quickly remove the rest of his clothing. I admired his physique for a moment, then found him looking at me rather sheepishly. I pulled him back to me and kissed him deeply, letting my kiss express my desires.
His response was swift, and I found myself on the bed, not entirely sure how I’d gotten there. Then he was over me. He kissed my lips, neck, chest and stomach before unbuttoning my pants and easily peeling them away. He moved toward me again, this time kissing my thighs and gently pulling away my underwear. As he leaned over me again, I wrapped my legs around him and pulled him closer, opening myself to him. He smiled, then kissed me deeply again. He united with me as our lips were locked, and I let out a small moan in response. He ran his hands up the side of my thighs, gripping me for leverage as he drove me higher and higher. I held onto the sheets, feeling as though I might fall off the earth if I didn’t. I moaned and convulsed as his passion pushed me beyond the brink, and pleasure flooded my body. Again and again, he sent me over, until he finally followed. We collapsed breathlessly onto the bed, spent.

Hi there, I haven't been on ur page in quite a while and was very happy to see that u had posted a story since then. I really love it, and I'm hoping u can add a new chapter to it where she is reunited with toru because her crying in the floor at the end sucked. But I read that you were down so no rush! We're all here waiting for u!
Thank you! I don't plan to write more on that story, but I hope to get back to The Concert soon.

Hello everyone! I feel like I need to explain what's going on. I haven't been writing much for a while, partly because I'm just very unhappy in my life. I'm working to fix that. I started writing because I was unhappy in my life, but also because OOR and Toru made me feel better. Things in my life got worse and I found myself having writer's block. But soon I'm leaving my husband and moving back in with my parents. I should be a lot better once I'm away from him and I really hope I can continue writing! I love you guys, thank you for your understanding.

Collision
Note: Some of this may seem familiar. When I wrote this, I never intended to share it; so when I started writing another story, I took some elements from this one because I liked them quite a bit. Hopefully you like my first attempt!
I was there for the concert. It was still early, so I decided to go for a walk outside the hotel and take a look around. I thought maybe there would be something to do. As I walked down the hallway, I came up to a corner where another hallway intersected it. That hallway would take me down to where the elevators were. As I rounded the corner, a sudden impact jolted me. I fell backward, landing hard on my back. My head bounced off the floor with a dull thud. Stars danced around my eyes as I looked up trying to determine what had caused my fall. I saw a familiar face before me, looking down in panic. His bleached hair fell forward and partially covered his eyes. “Are you ok?!” he shouted, crouching down beside me. “Uh, yeah… I’ll be ok.” I replied, sitting up. “I’m so sorry, I wasn’t looking where I was walking! Please forgive me.” His accent amused me, and I was somewhat star struck. I tried my best to hide it, as I rubbed the back of my head. “Oww…” I groaned. My head was throbbing terribly, and I was sure there would be a huge knot. He offered his hand, and I took it. He pulled me up slowly, and I wobbled slightly as I got my feet under me. He stood only a few inches taller than me. He held onto my hand longer than necessary, looking at me with concern. I couldn’t tell if the strange feeling I had was from hitting my head, or from him touching me.
Noticing that he still held my hand, he quickly let go. “I’m so sorry!” he said again. “It’s alright, I wasn’t watching where I was going either. I’m fine, really.” I replied, trying to reassure him. “Can I get you something to drink or anything for your head? My room is down the hall that way,” he said, pointing. His anxiety and guilt over hurting me was plainly evident on his face. I was more interested in simply spending some time with him. It’s not every day that you literally run into the guitarist of your favorite band. “O-ok…” I said, a little shocked. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me in the direction he had pointed. My heart jumped at his touch. As we walked, he asked my name. “Becca,” I replied. “I’m Toru,” he said, with a slight apologetic smile. We approached a room, and he pulled a keycard out of his pocket. Opening the door, he motioned for me to go inside first. I stepped into the room, and was surprised by how large it was. My room was much smaller than this. I had thought maybe he would be sharing a room with another member of the band, but there was only one bed in sight.
It was a beautiful room with elegant decorations in a dusty gray and gold motif. I was extremely lucky to get a room in this hotel, having found a ridiculous discount through my rigorous internet searching. “Wow,” I said, looking around. I could see that he was staring at me, out of the corner of my eye. I continued looking around at the art on the wall, pretending not to notice. He started, seeming to realize that he’d forgotten what it was we had come in here for. He moved to one of his bags, and began searching for something, which I assumed was some type of pain reliever. After a minute, he pulled a small packet out of his bag, grabbed a glass and filled it with water, then handed it to me. I looked at the packet in my hand. The label was in Japanese, but it looked like any other package of pain reliever, so I opened it and popped the pills into my mouth, taking a drink to wash them down.
We fell into an awkward silence. I stood there, unsure of what I should do. “Please, sit.” He said, motioning to a chair. I complied, and continued looking around, rubbing the back of my head again. Should I bring it up? I thought to myself. I decided to broach the subject. “So, um. You’re ready for your show tonight?” I asked, hesitantly. He looked up, seeming to be only mildly surprised. “Oh, yes! I’m very excited! I hope we do well,” he said happily. I smiled. How cute is he? I thought. “If it’s anything like the videos I’ve seen, it’ll be awesome.” He smiled back. His cheeks became slightly red. I couldn’t figure out why that would make him blush. I took another drink of water. He had been watching me again, but it seemed like he was trying to look as though he wasn’t. I wondered if this is how he normally acts around new people, or if it was just me.
I looked around again and saw a guitar case on the floor near his bags. He noticed my gaze, and grabbed the case. “You want to see?” he asked. I nodded and smiled, excited. He sat down on the edge of the bed and pulled out the guitar. It was a beautiful acoustic, one I hadn’t seen before. He was on the opposite side of the bed from the chair I was sitting in. He glanced over and patted the bed next to him. “Come,” he said, invitingly. I hesitated, but decided to move closer. Why do I feel so nervous? I’m ridiculous.
He strummed the guitar, checking the tune. When he was satisfied that it was in tune, he began to play. I had never heard that song before, it wasn’t anything that they had released. The sound was beautiful, and I closed my eyes, listening. I felt myself smile, and I rocked slowly back and forth to the music, entranced. When he finished playing, I slowly opened my eyes. “That was beautiful,” I said, “is that something you wrote for a new song, or just playing?” He gave a somewhat cocky half-smile. My chest tightened at the sight. “Just playing,” he answered. I glanced down at my phone to check the time. It had only been a few minutes, but it felt like I had been with him for hours. It was only about noon. He also checked the time.
“I was going to get some food soon. Would you like to go too?” he asked, seeming to be a little embarrassed. His cheeks reddened slightly. “I would love that,” I responded. I had been feeling a little hungry. He smiled in response to my answer. “Good, let’s go eat.” He put the guitar away and stood up. His phone rang, and he answered it. He spoke in Japanese, and I only understood a few words. He seemed a little irritated, and I could hear him say Taka’s name. I also understood “no” several times. Then it seemed that whatever it was had been settled, he hung up and put the phone away. He looked at me. “Sorry. Ok, let’s go.” He moved toward the door and opened it. I followed and walked through the door, which he was holding for me. “Where should we eat? The restaurant here?” he asked, as we began walking down the hallway. “That’s fine with me.”
I hope they have pizza or something… I thought to myself, frowning slightly. Restaurants don’t always have many vegetarian options. We arrived at the elevators and he pushed the down button. We stood next to each other, not saying anything. I could feel him looking at me again, and I had butterflies in my stomach. I looked out the window. L.A. was having a beautiful sunny day. I had come into town to visit with some friends. I had timed my trip so that I could be here for this concert, however. They hadn’t scheduled any shows near me this time, and I didn’t want to wait until they did. So I had jumped at the chance to come to this show. Now I was really thankful I had. And thankful I’d found a deal so that I could afford to stay in this hotel.
The elevator arrived, and we stepped inside. There was no one inside the elevator, thankfully. I moved to the back and braced myself against the railing. Why do elevators have to freak me out so much? I thought, embarrassed. I took a deep breath, and the elevator started moving. I felt that uneasy, sick sensation from the movement, and continued trying to keep my breath deep and steady. He noticed my distress, and inquired about what was wrong. “Elevators make me really nervous.” I said. My heart skipped a beat when he put his arm around me, and pulled me closer to him. “Better?” He asked. “Yes,” I said, burying my face in his shirt. He chuckled, and put his other arm around me, hugging me tightly. I sighed, and relaxed almost immediately. It felt so nice that I quickly forgot my discomfort.
The elevator stopped, and I looked up. We weren’t at the ground floor yet, where the restaurant was located. The doors opened, and a couple stepped in, only sparing us a glance. They pushed their floor. As the elevator started moving once more, I buried my face again. This time I was unable to forget the elevator, and began to hyperventilate slightly. He squeezed me again, and chuckled. “So cute…” I heard him say, quietly. I could feel my cheeks heating up, but I smiled to myself. Finally, we reached the ground floor, and the elevator came to a stop. Toru released me from his hug, and I stepped out. He followed me, and we continued on our way to the restaurant.
We entered the restaurant and the hostess greeted us. “Two?” She asked. “Yes.” I nodded. She grabbed some menus and showed us to a table. We sat down across from each other. “Your waitress will be right with you.” The hostess smiled, setting the menus in front of us, and walked away. I reached for my menu, and opened it. Meat, meat, meat… ugh. I thought, looking through the pages. Oh! Pizza! Thank God. With that settled, I put the menu down. Our waitress showed up moments later. We had both made up our minds quickly, so we ordered right then, and the waitress walked away. She returned with our drinks and informed us that our food would be ready soon.
We had fallen into silence again. I felt nervous, but I decided to ask him some questions to get the conversation going. “Toru?” I said. “Hm?” “What’s it like when you’re on stage?” I asked. “It’s very fun and exciting. I have a lot of fun. But it makes me tired too.” He answered. “I’m sure, rock is hard work,” I laughed. He smiled and leaned forward, looking me in the eye. I looked back, unable to look away. “I like to be with you, Becca. You’re different.” He looked down, and his cheeks became slightly red. “I like being with you too.” I smiled, my own cheeks reddening in response. He reached across the table and touched my hand. When I didn’t stop him, he took my hand in his and looked at my palm, gently running his fingers over it. Keeping my hand in his, he let our hands rest on the table.
It felt like electricity was running throughout my body. We sat like that for some time. Then, the waitress returned and we hurriedly took our hands back to make room for the dishes. She set our food down in front of us, asking if we needed anything else. We didn’t, so she left us to our meal. We ate quietly, and when the waitress returned, she asked if we needed one check or two. Toru spoke before I could respond. “Just one, please.” Satisfied, the waitress left, and came back shortly with our check. He paid for the food, but I left the tip. He wouldn’t let me see the check, so I ended up guessing how much of a tip I should leave.
We left the restaurant, and Toru informed me that he needed to get to rehearsal, he was running late. “Oh,” I said, looking down. I felt a little sad about having to part ways. He looked at me and frowned, thinking. He smiled. “Come with me?” he asked. I looked up, slightly taken aback. “Are you sure? That’s ok?” I asked. He nodded. “Yes, I want you to come.” “Ok… but I need to change my clothes first.” I hadn’t planned to go to the concert wearing these clothes, and I figured I’d need to be ready for the concert. “Ok,” He replied. We headed for the elevators. I took a deep breath as we waited. Going up isn’t as bad as going down, but I still didn’t like it. He looked at me and smiled. “What?” I asked, feeling myself smile too. “Nothing.” He said, still smiling. The elevator arrived, and I began to ready myself. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into a hug. Feeling his hands on my body, I began to feel hot.
When we got to our floor, I indicated for him to follow me to my room. I let him in, and grabbed the outfit I had planned to wear. I went into the bathroom to get changed while he waited, sitting on my bed. Closing the bathroom door, I put my hands over my heart and smiled to myself. I never expected to feel this. It seemed like he liked me too. He must, if he was willing to spend this much time with me, and taking me with to their rehearsal. I pondered that as I changed my clothes, touched up my makeup and threw my hair into a quick half-up hairstyle before coming out of the bathroom. He had laid down on my bed while he was waiting for me. He sat up when he noticed I had come out. He looked at me in a way that was hard to mistake. Every nerve in my body seemed to be alive at that moment. I had been wearing loose jeans, sneakers and a t-shirt all day. I changed into a pair of black skinny jeans, a black blouse that showed a hint of cleavage and tied at the waist. With the corset I was wearing underneath it on, it accentuated my waist very nicely.
I hesitated for a moment, but walked toward the bed. He stood and our eyes met. Before I knew what was happening, his hands were on me. He pulled me in and I could feel every hard line of him against my body. My heart raced as his hands explored, and his mouth found mine. His kiss was gentle at first, but it grew deeper and more passionate. My arms moved around his neck, and I grabbed a fistful of his hair, kissing him back eagerly, hungrily. He pulled my legs around him, picking me up, and sat back onto the bed. His mouth found my neck, and I moaned, grinding into him. I heard him gasp, and his hands tightened on my flesh, pulling me harder against him. He picked me up and quickly flipped me onto my back. He pushed himself against me, and kissed me again. I wrapped my legs around him, pulling him in, asking for more. He moaned, and I started to undo his belt.
Just as I got it open, his phone rang. An angry exclamation sprang forth from his lips, which I didn’t understand. Pulling himself up, he took his phone out and answered it. His voice was husky and uneven. Once again speaking in Japanese, I couldn’t understand more than a few words. I lay there breathing heavily, and extremely aroused. As he talked, my heartbeat began to slow and I calmed down some. His excitement was still evident when he hung up the phone. “Rehearsal is starting.” He said, disappointed. I frowned, but sat up. “I guess that means we need to get moving.” I said, peeling myself off the bed. He put his hand to my chest, just under my throat and pushed me back down. Leaning over me, he kissed me deeply once more. Then he pulled me up. Knowing I would have to fix my hair, I headed for the bathroom once again. Looking in the mirror, I saw that I was right. Stray hairs had escaped from my hairband, and there were tangles throughout the length of my hair. Toru also looked in the mirror, smoothing his hair out.
He closed his belt, and sighed. “I’m sorry.” “For what?” I asked, brushing my hair out. “I shouldn’t have done that.” He said, looking quite guilty. I smiled and turned to him, putting the brush down. “You didn’t do anything I didn’t want you to do,” I replied frankly. “Except stop.” He smiled widely and laughed. I put on my ankle boots, and we headed downstairs. “There’s a car there.” He told me. He held me again as we took the elevator. We found the car downstairs, and got in. The car took us to the concert center, and we went inside. I felt a little nervous to meet the rest of the band. Would they like me? He held my hand as we walked inside, and when we reached the amphitheater, I could see them already on the stage and waiting for Toru to join them.
They greeted him in Japanese, and it sounded like they were questioning why he was so late. Ryota noticed me first, and pointed me out to the others. “Who is this?” Taka asked. “I’m Becca. Toru almost killed me earlier and this is his way of making it up to me.” I said, jokingly. Toru looked at me, wide-eyed, then smiled. “You didn’t die. You’re fine now.” Everyone laughed. They each greeted me and said it was nice to meet me. I felt relieved that they seemed to accept me so easily. Someone came out and started talking to them in Japanese. Toru kissed my cheek then moved to his position on the stage. They got their instruments ready and started rehearsal and sound check. I sat on the side of the stage, watching. It was fun to watch them. They played around most of the time. When they were finished, Toru came over to me.
As I stood up, Taka shouted something in Japanese at Toru, which to me sounded like a taunt. Toru gave him the finger, grabbed me around the waist, and kissed me. The others oohed and laughed, and Toru was smiling when he pulled back. I smiled, but I was embarrassed by his sudden kiss. I looked down, but he hooked his finger under my chin and gently pulled my head up. “Come on, let’s relax before the show.” He said, pulling my hand. I followed him and the others backstage to a room marked “Band Only”. There were couches and TVs, snacks, drinks and games inside. Toru promptly sat down on a couch, and pulled me into his lap.
There was lively chatter, and a lot of games played while we waited for the concert. Toru had managed to locate an all access pass for me, so that I could be close to the stage. I told him it wasn’t necessary, that I could watch from the seat I paid for, but he insisted. Taka told me to just give in; once Toru decides something, that’s that. Most of the time, it was hard for me to keep pace with their conversations, because they mostly spoke in Japanese to one another. It was nice to simply watch them having fun, so I didn’t complain. When it came close to time for the show to start, they changed clothes and got ready.
I was escorted out to my new seat, in the front row. He had managed to get me a spot right in front of where he would be on stage. I smiled to myself. What have I gotten myself into? I wondered. Lights flashed and music started. They walked out to a roar of applause, waving. They started to play, and the crowd went crazy. Their performance was amazing, and more than once Toru looked over to me, and winked or did something to show off. I had the time of my life jumping, dancing and singing along to my favorite songs. When the concert was over, I was once again escorted backstage. There were a lot of people there with VIP passes to meet them. I waited silently for them to finish signing autographs, talking and giving hugs. Finally, everyone had left. A limo was brought around to bring them back to the hotel, and I was invited to ride with. There were a few other people in the limo already, and once they had all gotten in, Toru again pulled me into his lap. No one questioned my presence, though for a moment I thought they might.
We got back to the hotel, and everyone went to their rooms to shower and rest. He walked me to my room, and we stopped in front of the door. He took my hands and looked me in the eye. “We don’t have to do anything tonight.” He said, looking serious. “Toru…” I said quietly, looking into his eyes. The fact that he was concerned for me that way made me happy. A warm feeling spread through my chest. I looked at his face and smiled. I put my arms around his neck and pulled him closer to me. He moved easily at my touch, and I kissed him. I ran my hands through his hair, which was still damp with sweat.
I pulled back, got my keycard out, and opened the door. Once we were inside and the door was closed, I kicked off my shoes, and he did the same. Then I turned to him and put my hands on his chest. I ran them down his stomach, under his shirt. I ran my hands back up to his chest, pulling the shirt up, and he pulled it off. He put his hands on my hips and pulled me closer. He kissed me gently, and began untying the back of my shirt. He pulled it over my head, and moved to the clasp of my bra. He stopped, looking at me. “You are sure?” he asked. “Yes,” I whispered. “I want this.” He kissed me again, and removed my bra. His hands wandered over the fullness of my breasts, and a look of appreciation came over his face.
He looked down, unsure of my corset. “Leave it. It’s better.” I said, answering his questioning gaze. Pulling him closer to the bed, I unhooked his belt and unbuttoned his pants, as he did mine. He pulled his pants off, then crouched in front of me, slowly pulling my pants down and running his hands over my thighs. As my pants reached my knees, he gently pushed me onto the bed, and he pulled them the rest of the way off. He urged me farther up the bed, then parted my legs and ran his lips up the inside my thigh, gently kissing here and there. As he reached my underwear, he looked up, watching for my reaction. I nodded, and he proceeded to peel my underwear away, exposing me. A rush of nerves and excitement ran through me.
He teased ever so lightly, I could feel his breath on my skin. Slowly, he tasted me. My heart pounded as he gently excited my flesh. I gasped and jerked as he found a sensitive spot, but his hands held my hips down. I moaned as waves of pleasure built inside me. He eased back, teasing again. I groaned as he kissed inside my thighs, and cried out when his fingers slipped inside me. He took me into his mouth again, and the pleasure built, stronger this time. I shuddered and called out his name as I went blind, bucking from the pleasure that took over my body and senses completely. Without pause, he thrust himself inside me. I cried out again, and dug my nails into his back. He kissed my shoulder, my neck and then finally, my lips. I moaned into his kiss as he brought me to the edge, and over again. I gripped his hair and bit his neck, and I heard a sexy moan emanate from him. I lost myself as he drove me to the edge of sanity, pushing me closer and closer to the boundary. I had no idea that anything could feel this good.
Finally spent, he slumped over me, panting from his exertion. His head rested on my breast, and my heart thundered in my chest. I ran my fingers through his hair. He peered at my face, as if to ask if I was satisfied. I gave no response, but smiled gently, still touching his hair. I pulled him closer and kissed him deeply. I ran my fingers down his back, my legs still wrapped around him, enjoying his weight on top of me. He rolled onto his back, and I scooted closer to lay my head on his chest. He put his arm around me and pulled me close. We laid quietly like that for some time.
I decided that a shower was in order, so I began to sit up. He lightly held me in place. “Don’t go yet.” He said. I laid my head back on his chest. “What will happen now?” I asked, after a minute. “What do you mean?” he looked at me, confused. I looked up at him. “Well, you’ll go back to Japan, right? Where does that leave us?” I wondered, feeling a little sad and worried. “I want to see you more. When we finish with these shows, I’ll come back.” He said. “Really?” I asked, smiling hopefully. “Yes. I promise.” He said, hugging me. After a few more minutes, he laughed. “Ok, let’s go shower now.” “Yeah, you smell pretty bad. I wasn’t sure how much longer I could stay like that.” I laughed, then ducked as he threw a pillow at me. “Hey! It’s not that bad!” he laughed. I marveled at how comfortable we now were. It was rare for me to get along with anyone so well this quickly, but this was something else entirely. Once we had overcome our initial hesitation, it felt almost like we had known each other all our lives.
We moved into the bathroom and I started the shower. Once the water was a decent temperature, I climbed in. He followed. We washed fairly quickly, and then simply enjoyed each other’s company under the steaming water. Eventually we had to get out. While we were drying off, a problem occurred to us. He didn’t have any clean clothes in my room. His room was down the hall quite a way. Eventually he decided to just put his clothes back on, and we would go back to his room. I got dressed and grabbed a few essentials and brought them with. When we got into his room, he took off the sweaty clothes and put on a pair of shorts.
We sat down on his bed, and talked for hours about everything. By morning, I felt like we knew everything about each other that there was to know. We had only a few hours before he had to be up to prepare for that night’s concert. We cuddled up and took a nap together. We awoke a few hours later to the alarm he had set. I felt completely refreshed, despite how little sleep I had gotten. I hadn’t slept that well in a long time. He pulled me close and kissed me. “Becca?” “Hm?” “Would you come to Japan sometime?” I looked at him for a moment. “What kind of question is that? You should be asking when I’ll come to Japan.” I smiled, and he beamed at me in response.
My phone alerted me to a text message. It was Jessica, wondering when we were going to hang out. I texted her back, letting her know that I would be free the rest of the week, but not tonight. “I knew you were seeing that band, but I thought that was yesterday… what are you doing?” she asked. “I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow.” I responded. Toru had been playing with my hair while I was talking to Jessica. He got up and announced that he was going to take a shower. “Can I come too?” I asked, pretending to be sad. He winked at me and replied “I hope you’ll come.” I laughed. “Oh, well I guess I need to join you for that to happen.” I got up and followed him into the bathroom.
His bathroom was again, much larger than the one in my room. He started the water and turned to me. I looked at him, standing there bare-chested. He was thin, with well-toned muscles. He looked down, seeming almost self-conscious under my gaze. I moved forward, putting my arms around his waist. He started when I grabbed a handful of his ass. He chuckled, and did the same to me, pulling me tightly against his body. “Ohayou.” He said, smiling suggestively. “Good morning.” I responded. He raised an eyebrow. “Nihongo ga wakarimasu ka?” He asked me. “Sukoshi” I replied, “Very little. I understand a few words here and there, but I can’t speak sentences. Just a few phrases. I would really like to learn, though.” “I will help you.” He said. He released me and turned to climb into the shower.
As I stepped in behind him, my foot slipped. I sucked in a breath and frantically tried to grab onto something. Noticing, he turned and quickly grabbed ahold of me. “Take care.” He said, holding onto me and pulling me under the stream of the shower. Under the heat of the water, my heartbeat settled. “My hero.” I said, with a somewhat jittery half-laugh. He kissed my forehead. “You’re safe with me.” We washed up, then got out and dried off. Still wearing only the towel, I started working on untangling my hair so that I could dry it. Just then, there was a knock on the door. Toru, who was also still only wearing a towel, looked at me. I closed the bathroom door while he answered.
I could hear that it was Ryota. It sounded like he was giving Toru a hard time about something, which I guessed probably had to do with me. He was laughing. I heard his voice moving farther into the room, then suddenly he became quiet. He asked a question. Toru gave some answer, and I could hear Ryota apologizing. “Gomen, I’m sorry!” he said, this time in my direction. He quickly left the room. After I heard the door shut, I cracked the bathroom door and peeked out. “It’s ok.” Toru said, motioning for me to come out. “He was so red.” he said, laughing. I laughed, turning a little red myself. I decided to get dressed. I pulled out the clothes I had grabbed for myself, and began dressing.
When I got to my corset, Toru watched me curiously. “Do you always wear it?” He asked. “Most days. It helps with my back pain. And I really like the way it looks.” I said, pulling the corset into place and began to tighten the laces. Once it was just a bit more than snug, I tied it off, and began to work on my hair again. I used the hairdryer provided by the hotel, since I didn’t have time to let it air-dry. I finished brushing it out, and braided it. I put on my makeup, and then prepared to finish tightening my corset for the day. Untying the laces, I looked around for the best place to use to help me cinch my corset the rest of the way. Seeing the hooked doorknob on the entry door, I decided on that. Looping my bunny ears around it, I pulled forward and started to tighten my laces. Standing straight, and adjusting my corset into the proper position, I cinched down slowly, breathing deeply and allowing my body time to adjust.
Once that was finished, I tucked my laces in and put my shirt on. Since this shirt was a bit loose, I wrapped a small, thick studded belt around my waist. Today I had chosen a deep red blouse that hung loosely around my shoulders. I paired that with dark blue skinny jeans and the same ankle boots from the day before, my favorite pair. Toru had been busy getting dressed himself, and hadn’t noticed what I was wearing yet. Feeling satisfied with my choice, I walked back toward him.
He looked over at me, and that same unmistakable look of desire came over his face. He groaned. “I can’t be late again…” Deciding to tease him a little, I walked up to him and pushed him down onto the bed. I straddled him, and then kissed him deeply. I gently bit his lip, then pulled away, standing back up. He stayed where he was, looking at the ceiling with a look of utter disappointment and frustration. Looking down at the bulge that had formed in his pants, he adjusted himself and stood. “Fuck,” he sighed. He looked at me with the expression of a tortured soul. I smirked and bit my lip. “It’s funny?” He said, approaching me. He quickly turned me around, grabbed my hair, and pulling my head to the side, bit my neck. At the same time, he ran his other hand down between my thighs. My knees went weak, and a moan escaped my lips, despite my attempt to suppress it. His hand came around to my throat, squeezing gently. At this point, only his grip kept me upright. He turned me around to face him. “Is it funny still?” He asked, kissing my neck. “No…” I managed to say. He released me, and I struggled to keep my balance. He smiled, satisfied, and took my hand.
I looked into his eyes with undisguised lust. “Don’t look like that. We have to go.” He said smugly. I sighed, and turned toward the door. “Ok, let’s go.” I said, walking toward the door. We walked down the hallway toward Taka’s room, where we were meeting up before heading back to the amphitheater. I blushed remembering that Ryota knew I had been in Toru’s room. When we reached the room, Toru knocked on the door. Tomoya opened the door, and smiled at us. He asked Toru a question. “Becca.” Toru responded, somewhat coldly. “Ah, Becca!” He smiled at me, welcoming me in. I realized he must have forgotten my name, and had to ask. Toru smacked Tomoya on the head as he passed through the door. “Baka.” I heard him call Tomoya under his breath. Taka and Ryota greeted me again as they saw me. “You came back to hang out with us!” Taka said, smiling. “Well, I didn’t have anything else to do today.” I said, smirking. Toru and the others laughed. “I like her!” Ryota said. “Yes!” the other two agreed. I blushed, and Toru smiled widely. “I can’t tell yet.” Toru said, smiling at me. I lightly pinched his arm and he jerked away, laughing. “Ow! Ok!” Everyone laughed again.
Toru sat down on a bed and pulled me down with him. “Wahh!” I cried out at the unexpected movement, landing on top of him. “Hey, get a room.” Taka said, laughing at us. I quickly sat up, feeling embarrassed again. Toru wrapped his arms around me, and they all began talking to each other. I felt a little frustrated not being able to understand them. They must have been talking about something for the concert. Then it was time to go. The five of us walked down the hallway together. I felt worried about the elevator again. Come on Becca, you can do this. It’s just a freaking elevator. I told myself. As we got on, Toru was already reaching for me. He pulled me into his chest, and held me tightly. “What’s wrong?” Ryota asked. Toru told him about my problem with elevators. “Ah.” Ryota said, then fell silent. We reached the ground floor, and there was a car waiting at the front door. We got inside, and it took us once again to the concert center.
They proceeded with their rehearsal, and I once again sat on the side watching. Their antics were highly amusing to me. More than once I laughed so hard at them that I almost fell over. Toru and Ryota had an impromptu guitar battle, which had me in awe. I had long been in love with the sound of Toru’s guitar. I pondered on that for a moment. What do I feel for him now? Could I love him? I know I really like him. My worries about what would happen after he went home surfaced again. I worried that he might forget about me, or change his mind. What if he’s only having fun with me, just because I’m available? That thought left a sour taste in my mouth.
Toru suddenly looked at me as though he could sense that something was wrong. “Becca?” he said, frowning slightly. I looked up at him, watching him walk closer to me. “Yeah?” I said, trying to smile. He set his guitar aside and sat down next to me, shoulder to shoulder. “What are you thinking?” “Nothing, really. I’m just a little tired. Lack of sleep, you know?” I tried to laugh it off. He saw right through me. “You’re worried.” I started to deny it, but he stopped me. He cradled my face in his hands, looked me in the eyes, and then kissed me. He took off the necklace he was wearing, and put it around my neck. “That’s my best one. Hold it for me.”
Ryota was watching us with a look of disbelief. “Why does Ryota look like that?” I asked. Toru turned and looked at him. Ryota quickly made himself busy with his bass. “I never take this necklace off.” He replied. My heart warmed, and a tear formed in the corner of my eye. “Toru…” I whispered, “Are you sure?” I touched the necklace, looking down at it. “Hey…” he said, pulling my face up to look at me. “Please?” he said, wiping the tear from my eye. “How can I say no when you’re looking at me like that?” I asked. He smiled, then took my hand and kissed my palm. He stood, and went back to rehearsal. I put my hand over the necklace and held it to my heart.
When rehearsal was over, we went back to the room we had been in yesterday. Someone had turned on a radio, so the room was full of music when we entered. Tomoya began dancing in a very silly way as soon as he entered the room. Ryota and Taka joined him, while Toru clapped and laughed. I laughed watching them. Tomoya grabbed my hand and tried to pull me into dancing too, but I blushed and pulled back, saying no. I looked at Toru, begging him with my eyes to save me. Tomoya continued pulling, then Taka grabbed my other hand. “No, please!” I shouted, starting to laugh. Toru walked over to the radio and changed the station. A slow song I recognized came on. The others frowned and decided to sit down, pouting. “I’ll show you how to make her dance.” Toru said to the others as he grabbed me by the waist. Taking my hand, he twirled me then pulled me close to him, and started moving to the song. I dropped my head to his chest, giggling, but moving with him. “Ok, you won!” Tomoya shouted, chortling. As the song ended, Toru twirled me again, then pulled me toward a couch and sat down. I sat next to him, and he put his arm around me. Slightly tired, I let my head rest on his shoulder.
The next thing I knew, I was laying on the couch without Toru. I sat up, and saw him talking quietly with the others. I couldn’t tell what they were talking about, but I figured they must have decided to let me sleep. Toru glanced over and realized that I had woken up. “Ohayou…” he winked at me. “Konnichiwa.” I responded, sticking my tongue out at him. The others looked at me with mild surprise, but didn’t say anything. “You’re hungry?” Toru asked. He pointed to the table, where some food had been brought in. I looked it over, and didn’t see a single thing that didn’t contain meat or seafood. “No, I’m ok.” I said.
My stomach betrayed me, and rumbled loudly at that very moment. I put my hand to it, in a pathetic attempt to hide it. Toru looked at the table for a moment, before a look of realization came over his face. “Oh…” he said, “I’m sorry! I didn’t think about it. I’ll find something!” “It’s ok, I’m fine, really.” I was used to going hungry in situations like this. “No.” He said, standing. He opened the door and found a staff member, then asked for a pizza to be brought for me. I smiled to myself, looking down. Toru came back in and sat next to me. “I’m sorry.” He whispered to me, kissing my cheek. I took his hand and tilted my head toward his. “It’s ok. I’m used to people forgetting.” I said. “Don’t be used to me forgetting.” He said, squeezing my hand. That warmth blossomed inside my chest again. Forgetting that anyone else was there, I kissed him. He cradled my face in his hands, and gently kissed me back. When he pulled away, I realized we had an audience. Toru said something in Japanese to them. It sounded like he was scolding them. The three of them said “Gomen,” at the same time, and turned their attentions to each other. They started whispering to each other.
“Are they talking about us?” I asked Toru. “Yes,” he said, “they’re saying about how I’m different with you.” “Different how?” He let out a quick huff of air. “Uh… well I’ve never been with someone like you. I’m not serious about anyone else.” “Oh.” I looked away, unsure of what to think about that. “It’s… Ah.” He let out an irritated grunt, “I can’t explain. I don’t… I really like you. Not like anyone else. I don’t care for anyone else.” He looked down, seeming deep in thought. He looked up at me again, looking me in the eye. “Anata wa watashi ni totte taisetsu na hito desu.” Ryota, Taka and Tomoya turned as one, looking at Toru with surprised expressions. I looked at them, then back at Toru. “I don’t understand.” I said, confused. “You’re very precious to me. I want to be with you only.” He said, touching the necklace around my neck. “Amai!” Tomoya exclaimed, grinning as though he was watching the cutest thing ever. Toru turned and glared at him. “Baka!” Tomoya turned around quickly. Returning his attention to me, Toru asked, “Do you understand?” I nodded. “I think so.” He feels the same way about me as I feel about him. I thought.
There was a knock on the door, and I could smell the pizza as it opened. Toru got up and brought the box over to me, then sat back down next to me. I sat there staring at it. I didn’t feel hungry anymore, which commonly happened when I had not eaten in so long. I set it aside. Toru looked at me worriedly. “You won’t eat?” He asked. “I don’t feel hungry right now. I’ll eat when I feel hungry again. If I try now, I’ll probably feel sick.” I replied. “Oh.” He said. He pulled me close to him. I rested my head against his chest, and listened to his heartbeat. After a while, I started to feel hungry again, so I sat up and pulled the pizza box toward me. I realized I didn’t have a plate, so I got up to grab one off the table. I sat back down and opened the pizza box, pulled a slice out and put it on the plate. The conversation picked up again in the room, and Toru joined in. I ate, quietly listening. I still felt frustrated at not being able to understand most of what they were saying. I’m going to have to invest in some Japanese lessons.
I ate another slice of pizza, then set the paper plate I had been using on top of the pizza and closed the box. I set the box aside, and cuddled up next to Toru again. He put his arm around me, and I sighed, feeling content. We spent the remainder of the time waiting for the concert that way. Once it was time for them to get out to the stage, I was escorted back to the seat I had been given the previous day. I looked around at the crowd, waiting for everything to start. The same way the concert had started the day before, it began today. They played a song, then Taka thanked everyone for coming, and asked how many people had been at the concert yesterday as well. A portion of the crowd cheered loudly. The concert proceeded the same as the day before, and before I knew it, it was over and I was reunited with Toru. There were again many people with VIP passes there to see them. Toru excused himself when he saw me. As I approached, he walked toward me, then pulled me into a tight hug, kissing my cheek. Several girls voiced their disappointment that it seemed Toru’s heart had been stolen by me. I received several dirty looks before it was over. Once they were finished, we headed back to the hotel. Taka insisted that we all go to his room to celebrate. He made a quick call to arrange to have some things delivered there.
We arrived at his room, and shortly after some ice was delivered, along with several types of beer and alcohol, and some snacks. I looked at the bottle of vodka with a sense of yearning. Ryota pulled out a bottle of beer and offered it to me. “No, thank you. Beer is for people who can’t handle real alcohol.” I said. “Ooh!” He laughed. He challenged me to a drinking contest, and said I could choose the drink. “Fine. Vodka, then.” I said, mentally preparing myself for my impending intoxication. Toru looked at me with surprise, but said nothing. I grabbed a bottle of water, and chugged it, to get myself more hydrated before we started. Taka excitedly set out plastic shot glasses that had been delivered with the alcohol. He set up 5 shots for each of us. “The first to finish wins.” Taka announced. He poured the shots. I grimaced as I remembered that all I had eaten all day was two pieces of pizza.
Ryota and I took up positions on opposite sides of the table. Taka counted down, “Three, two, one, GO!” I picked up two shots at once, and took one after the other, then moved onto the next two, going as quickly as I could, until I was finished. I looked up and saw that Ryota still had one shot left. “AH!” He shouted, defeated. Everyone cheered. I sat down, expecting to feel the effects of the vodka quickly. I grabbed another bottle of water and sipped it slowly. Toru watched me, looking impressed. I also grabbed some crackers off the table and began eating them, hoping they would help soak up the alcohol enough that I wouldn’t end up throwing up later. My face became warm, and I could feel the alcohol working on my body. I leaned against Toru. He looked at me, and put his arm around me, laughing. My eyes were slightly glazed as I became more and more intoxicated. That pleasant feeling spread throughout my body, and I smiled. Everything was always much more amusing to me when I’m drunk. Toru looked at me, smirking. “Are you ok?” He laughed. “I’m great!” I laughed, then snorted. Everyone laughed, hearing me. I amorously put my arms around Toru. That was the secondary behavior that presented itself in me when I was under the influence of alcohol.
We were talking, drinking and laughing together, as the night wore on. Someone had put on music, and the guys started playing card games. I had no idea what kind of game it was that they were playing. Toru attempted to explain it to me, but I failed to grasp the concept. I giggled at my own lack of understanding. I tried to stand, realizing I needed a visit to the bathroom after drinking so much. I wobbled, but managed to steady myself. Toru watched me with an amused expression. I managed to walk almost steadily to the bathroom, but tripped over a shoe just before I got inside. I pitched forward, but caught myself on the doorjamb. I saw Toru jump out of the chair we had been occupying, looking at me worriedly. He calmed and sat back down when he saw that I was alright. I closed the door behind myself, giggling. After I was finished, I looked at myself in the mirror. I wiped under my eye to fix where my eyeliner had smudged a little, then washed my hands. On my way out, I tripped over the same shoe, and fell right into Taka’s lap. “Hello!” I said, laughing at my situation. Laughing, Toru walked around the table and easily picked me up out of Taka’s lap. Taka suggested that I should get some sleep. “I don’t want to sleep!” I said, a little too loudly. “Don’t worry, you probably won’t.” Toru responded quietly, winking at me. “Hey, do that somewhere else!” Ryota said, as Toru kissed me softly on my neck. “Goodnight.” Toru said to everyone, as he carried me out of the room.
As he carried me down the hallway, I asked him, “So if I’m not going to sleep, what will we do?” “I’m thinking about something.” He said, smiling at me. When we reached his room, he had to juggle me a little to get his keycard out and open the door, but he refused to put me down. He carried me inside the room, then dropped me onto the bed. I laughed, a bit startled. He smiled, then looked down at me lustfully. “That’s a dangerous look. What are you going to do?” I asked. “What do you want?” I ran my hands up my body, over my chest, and through my hair, while spreading my legs. “What do you think I want?” I asked, smiling seductively. He stared at me, in aroused disbelief.
He wasted no time, quickly undressing me, then himself. Already fully aroused, he entered me, kissing and biting my neck. “Mmm…” I moaned. Feeling bold, I asked for what I wanted. “Faster.” I requested. He moaned and complied, pulling my hips up, using them to help him thrust. I reached above my head, grabbing fistfuls of the sheets, moaning loudly. Eyes closed, I threw my head back and pushed myself slightly off the bed as an orgasm ripped through my entire being. I felt as though my body might fly apart if I didn’t hold onto the bed. As the orgasm subsided, I turned my body and, gripping his arms and hooking my legs around him, rolled him onto his back. He looked at me in surprise, and moaned as I grabbed his hands, pushing them above his head, and held them there. I kissed and bit his neck, while moving my hips against him. He watched my body as I rode him with such a sexy expression on his face, I could barely contain myself. I leaned back as I rode out another tumultuous wave of pleasure. His hands finally free, he grabbed my hips and guided me into a faster rhythm. I cried out at the sensation, which was almost unbearably strong. I kept my hips pumping, holding out until he groaned, stilling my hips and pushing himself deeper inside me, letting himself go. Drenched in sweat and panting, I let my body fall next to him. My head was pleasantly fuzzy, and my pulse pounded in my ears. Staring blankly and breathing heavily, he lay there next to me. He looked as though he did not believe what just happened. I smiled at him, feeling satisfied, and a bit smug. I rolled over and laid my head on his chest. His arm came around me, and he kissed the top of my head. I quickly fell asleep in his arms.
I awoke some time later. It was early in the morning, I could see the sun rising through the window. Toru was still holding me, fast asleep. I tried to get up, but his arms were wrapped tightly around me. I tried to grab my phone, which had ended up on the bedside table somehow. I managed to get a hold of it, and checked the time. Just past 6 a.m. I tried to remember if I had found out what time they were leaving. I felt completely dejected at the thought of Toru leaving. I knew he couldn’t stay, he had obligations. He had promised to come back. I reached for the necklace he had given me, which still felt unfamiliar around my neck. Inspecting it, I could see that the pendant was a coin with a chrysanthemum detail on it. There were Japanese characters as well, but I didn’t know what they said. I tried to remember what chrysanthemum symbolized. I thought it might be happiness. He stirred slightly, and squeezed me tighter. He smiled in his sleep, looking perfectly content. He looked almost angelic in his sleep, which contrasted the somewhat harsh expression he usually wore while awake. I stroked his hair, smiling. I suppose I can’t mistake that. You can’t lie when you’re asleep. I thought.
I laid there watching him for a while. Eventually, he joined me in wakefulness. His eyes came open slowly, and he blinked several times, taking a deep breath. “Ohayou.” He said, stretching. “Ohayou.” I responded, a mixture of feelings churning inside me. I didn’t want him to wake up yet. If he was awake, that meant that the time for him to leave was that much closer. He pulled my face down to his and kissed my cheek. “Please. Stop worrying. I won’t leave forever.” “It’ll feel like forever,” I said, kissing his cheek. “When will you be back?” I asked. “About 3 weeks.” He replied. I frowned. “Forever!” I cried out in a babyish voice, and buried my face in his chest. He chuckled. “You’re too cute.” He hugged me close.
Sooner than I wanted, it was time for him to get up, dress and start packing his things. I sat pouting on his bed. He seemed to be amused by my pouting, but when he would really look at me, I could see that he was just as sad about having to leave as I was about being left behind. He finished packing, and double checked that he wasn’t leaving anything behind. I helped him look, and we found nothing. He grabbed his bags, and we headed toward Taka’s room. Everyone else had gathered outside his room as well. “Becca!” Tomoya and Ryota exclaimed when they saw me. “We’ll miss you!” Ryota said, pulling me into a hug. Tomoya jumped and put his arms around me as well. They both squeezed me tightly. I laughed, not really sure of what to do in this situation. At that moment, Taka’s door opened and he walked out. Seeing the group hug, he joined in as well. “Becca, our new friend!” He said, smiling at me. Taka grabbed Toru and pulled him into the hug as well. It felt nice to have them all hugging me, but also strange. I wasn’t used to having so many people give me attention like this. They let go of me, and grabbed their bags again.
“Time to go.” Toru said, quietly. Everyone picked up their bags and started walking toward the elevator. I walked with them, feeling down. We boarded the elevator, and it occurred to me that this would be the last time for a while that Toru would hold me to keep me calm like this. The elevator reached the ground floor, and we walked toward the front of the hotel, where a van was waiting to take them to the airport. They loaded their bags into the van fairly quietly, then in turn, Ryota, Tomoya, and Taka hugged me and said they looked forward to seeing me again. They got into the van, leaving Toru standing there with me. I looked at him with tears already forming. “Please… Becca.” He looked at me with a pained expression. “I’m sorry, I can’t stop it.” I said, trying to wipe away my tears. He hugged me close and kissed my forehead. Taking my face into his hands, he looked me in the eye. “Don’t be sad. We will talk all the time, and I’ll come back soon.” “Ok,” I said, trying to convince myself to see him off with a smile. He took me into his arms again, and kissed me deeply. He took my hand and squeezed it. He slowly pulled away from me, and turned to get into the van. I watched him get in, and it felt like my heart was being shredded as I watched the van leave. I could see them all waving to me as they pulled away. I made my way back to my room. Once I got inside, I leaned against the door and slid down to the floor. The tears I had been trying to hold back sprang forth, and I sobbed into my knees.

The Meet and Greet (Short)
She walked excitedly toward her destination, the concert hall. She had been looking forward to this day for months, and she couldn’t wait to get there. She turned the corner, and saw that there were already several people there, though she was very early. She stepped up to the small line and introduced herself. “Hi! I’m Kate! Are you guys really excited too?” she smiled. They responded happily, introducing themselves and chattering about their hopes for the concert. “Do any of you guys have VIP passes?” Kate asked. They shook their heads. “No, I found out too late! They were sold out before I knew about it,” one girl said. “Shoot. I couldn’t afford it,” Kate responded, frowning slightly. “Yeah, they were pretty expensive this time,” another guy said.
They chatted for a while, and more people were arriving as time went on. Soon there was a decent line of people waiting. The atmosphere buzzed with energy and excitement. Kate watched the people surrounding her, the line, and people passing by the concert hall. She became very alert, something felt off, but she couldn’t figure out what it was. Suddenly, a young woman nearby shouted, “Let go of me!” Kate searched for the source and sprang into action when she saw what was happening. She threw herself between the attacker and the young woman, pushing him away and shielding her. He threw a punch, hitting her cheekbone and forcing her to turn away. He tried to step around her to get at the young woman, but Kate quickly recovered and stepped into his path. “I think you need to leave,” Kate insisted. “Get out of the way!” he shouted. “You stay away from me! I’m calling the police!” the woman shouted back. Others started moving in, pushing him away and telling him to leave. He seemed to think better of it, and left quickly.
Kate watched him leave, then turned to make sure the young woman was alright. She was surprised to find arms around her suddenly. She felt herself smile, slightly dazed. “Thank you!” the young woman said, hugging her tightly. “You’re welcome, are you alright? Who was that guy?” Kate said, hugging her back. “I’m fine, thanks to you! He’s my ex. He refuses to accept that we’re over. He’s been following me and harassing me for weeks. Oh my gosh! You’re bleeding!” she exclaimed, as she pulled back to look at Kate. Kate raised her hand to her cheek, and found blood on her fingers. “I’ll be okay,” she said, pulling a tissue from her bag. She held it to her cheek, then pulled out a mirror to look at herself. “It’s just a scratch,” Kate said, after a quick glance. “I’m Kiara, by the way,” the young woman introduced herself. “It’s nice to meet you, Kiara, I’m Kate,” she responded.
“You’re here for the concert?” Kiara asked. “Yeah,” Kate replied, looking back at the concert hall. “Do you have VIP?” “Er, no... I didn’t have the money before they sold out,” Kate shrugged. “I happen to have an extra VIP pass. My friend was supposed to come with me, but she had to cancel. It’s yours if you want it. I owe you,” Kiara offered. “Really? Wow, I would love that! I should give you something for it though...” Kate said, unsure. “No! I refuse to take anything for it. It’s yours! I want you to come with me!” Kiara declined emphatically. “O-okay,” Kate said. They waited together until the doors opened, and they were ushered inside for the meet and greet. They waited in another line, chatting quietly about their favorite songs, their hopes for the meet and greet, and the concert. When they got to the front of the line, Kiara stepped forward, but Kate froze. Kiara turned after a few steps, realizing that Kate hadn’t moved. “Come on,” she said, urging her to move. Kate reluctantly moved, seeming nervous.
Kiara bounded forward, pulling Kate behind her. She quickly introduced herself to the guys. Taka, Ryota and Tomoya smiled and greeted her with handshakes, while Toru eyed Kate, standing there quietly somewhat off to the side. Kiara looked over, then pulled Kate closer. “This is my new friend Kate! We met in line outside. She actually really saved my butt. My ex was harassing me and she protected me!” Kiara gushed to them. Kate reddened, and smiled shyly. “Wow! That’s really awesome,” Taka said, moving closer to her. He smiled at her, then frowned slightly at the sight of her injury. He reached out to shake her hand, and she quietly took it. The others approached and greeted her in a similar fashion. Toru moved before her last, and she looked up at him nervously. His eyes met hers, and he moved closer, impulsively reaching out to touch her cheek. She stood motionless, captivated by his gaze. “Does it hurt you?” he asked, quietly. “No,” she responded, resisting the urge to reach up and touch his hand.
She became aware of the others watching them, and she quickly looked down. He glanced sideways at the others, then let his hand drop. “It’s nice to meet you,” he said, stepping back. A staff member told them to line up for a picture, taking their phones. They took a picture with both of their phones, and received their phones back from the staff. Toru quickly said something to Taka, who nodded. As they said goodbye, Taka pointed someone out and told them, “See that guy there? Go to him after the concert. He’ll bring you both to us.” “Really? That’s would be so awesome. Thank you!” Kiara exclaimed. Kate smiled and nodded, watching Toru. He smiled back at her. The two of them left to wait for the concert, and Kiara bombarded Kate with questions about what exactly happened between her and Toru. “I don’t know, but I can’t wait to find out myself,” Kate responded.

Happy Birthday (short)
He plucked idly at the strings on his guitar, not really playing anything. It was his birthday, but he didn’t much feel like celebrating. Why did they have to be on tour now? He wanted to be home with his girl. He frowned, wishing that she hadn’t had to stay behind to work. Either way, he wanted to be with her. It didn’t matter where they were, really.
He blinked, wondering when it had happened that he could no longer stand a few weeks without her. Closing his eyes, he imagined her there with him. She would sit and adoringly watch him play his guitar, joke with him, and care for him in a way that often made him feel awed. Did he really deserve all that? She was a light in his life he never realized he was missing until she came along.
He shook his head. Stop being so sentimental, he told himself. A movement in the corner of his eye caught his attention, and he looked up. Taka strode toward him smiling. His smile faded as he studied Toru’s face. “What’s wrong?” he asked. “Ah, nothing. Just missing Mira I guess,” Toru answered. “Oh,” Taka glanced down. He stood there in silence for another moment. “Everyone is waiting for you,” he said. “I guess I shouldn’t keep them waiting any longer,” Toru stood, setting his guitar aside.
He followed Taka to where the others were waiting, then they loaded up into the cars and headed to the restaurant. Everyone was cheerful, and the mood was celebratory. He was pulled into hug after hug and wished ‘happy birthday’ numerous times. He put on a smile, but his heart was not in it. “We have a surprise for you!” Ryota exclaimed. Toru looked up, curious. Tomoya stepped forward, smiling his jubilant smile. “Are you ready?” he asked. Toru nodded.
Tomoya stepped aside, revealing Mira behind him. “Surprise!” she said, grinning at him. For a moment, he didn’t know how to react. He was, indeed, very surprised to see her there. He gave her a look of wonder, then stood and rushed forward to scoop her into his arms. “What are you doing here?” he asked. “I couldn’t let you celebrate your birthday without me,” she giggled. Everyone cheered, and he laughed, finally ready to celebrate with them. “I hate all of you,” he grinned. They spent the night partying, and he thought as far as birthdays went, this one had to be his best yet.

You should write something related to Toru's birthday. I think a lot of people would enjoy that. I know you have said you have been in a writers block lately. Hopefully it being his birthday will give you some inspiration!
That sounds like a good idea. I'll see if I can come up with something!
