So the designs for characters for the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride at Disney just released and I need to talk about the beaver.

I find this hilarious because this was my intro animation professor’s note on my character for class:

To reduce the ass size of the character.

Here’s a platypus (my sona) in a tuxedo!

3 years ago today I watched the Phineas And Ferb New Years episode and this scene of Perry bursting through the doors with an awesome tux on sent me on a spiral that got me into a whole Perry/ Pnf phase and drawing/cartoons.

Making it an annual tradition to draw a plat in a tux every New Years .

I hadn’t been posting here already, but I was just getting back into my requests from August to keep me from getting depressed and going insane during the last few weeks of my semester.

Unfortunately, I had some film equipment fall out of my bag and onto my iPad (what I primarily draw on).

Besides the big hole in it, thankfully my screen protector has no other damage, but the glass on my iPad is smashed and dented (bonus of having a paper replicating screen protector). The case also conveniently fell open inviting the heavy ass light stand to go to town on it. Lovely.

Taking care of this on top of all the things I already had to do today Lmao. Definitely, probably failing the documentary assignment I have due tomorrow now and probably can’t use this as an excuse.

My school warranty on it is also over too so I have to pay for it, not sure if my parents (mostly my dad, let’s be honest here) will since it’s kinda my fault, but hopefully they actually can since it’s also mostly an act of God moment if you think about it.

But here’s some of the last Platypus doodles I had on it keeping me sane this week.

I have a tablet that connects to my computer so maybe I can still doodle on these procreate projects through psd, but I have premiere running constantly on it.

Paper exists too I guess. So, I think everything’s gonna work out in some way.

last song: you know i always have to plug nelward and ive been listening to this song on repeat lately. its so good trust me

favorite color: blue is definitely my favorite. specifically electric or fully saturated blue. but red is slowly creeping up my list. i love a good dull speckled red, dark red, shiny red... red is a good color

last movie/tv show: samurai jaaaaaack oh my god. i watched it with my sister so it took a lot longer than expected since we had to coordinate so it was all the more bittersweet when it ended. u dont have to scroll very far to see my feelings on it lol

sweet/spicy/savory: you guys know i have to say savory. ive always loved salty fatty shit so much. as a kid when we would go to fast food places for ice cream i would always ask if i could get fries instead.

current obsession: anyone who spends any amount of time around me or even has surface level information about me knows its dead end paranormal park/deadendia LOL. the spirit of autism has commendeered my life
