You make me feel like I just read the plot twist of a book I’m currently infatuated with,

Excited as fuck. Literally sparks flying in my chest. That’s how you make me feel.

Ever just wanna run in the rain to your town’s library to return the books you need to renew today? Your tote bag filled up with books and the straps just aching to break off from the weight. A shot of caffeine in your system, the only reason you’re up currently because if you hadn’t had caffeine in your bloodstream you would crash immediately. Heavily breathing through your mouth since you’re well out of shape but the rain soaking you is egging you on. Your glasses fitted out of place onto your nose bridge, layered on with two cardigans because you didn’t want to catch a cold. And the laces of your shoes not tied together in favor of reduced time. Only to realize the library is closed today and you renew your books tomorrow.
No? Never wanted to? Wack bro…

Enemies to lovers at your prestigious college.
You and the latin student across the library have a very intense staring content.
“Shakespeare learning scum.” They utter under their breath.
“Pompous latinist prick.” You retort and scoff.
They roll their eyes and return to their assessment on their stupid latin and you can’t help but smile a bit, an idea forming in the front lobe of your mind.
You rip out a paper from your notebook and write:
“You look pretty...”
“Fucking hideous.”
You hastily shape the flat piece of notebook paper into a paper airplane. Snickering as you throw it at the latin student.
The airplane catches the latinist’s attention while in mid-air. With furrowed eyebrows they dart their eyes towards you.
The latin student snatched the plane and rips opens the plane to read whatever the fuck you wrote.
You honestly could set aside how immature you were being and let it rot. You loved seeing how annoyed they looked. And you loved seeing how they looked in general.
And once you knew they read the note. You were surprised to see them fluster for a millisecond. Then see the blush wash away into a burning irritation.
Suddenly they stand up. Wow. The fire in their eyes, how strongly they clutch their calloused hands, you love it.
He stomps over to you and you can’t help but smile more.
“What’s wrong, my dear? You look so… Angry.” You tease them a bit. Only to reveal their face to grow a bit more red.
You couldn’t tell if they was either blushing or fuming by your choice of words, but when they look like that… More up closer you find that a part of you was fuming as-well. Your heart YOUR FAT DESPISE FOR THEM.
“GOD, your so immature!” They criticized you. And GASP. How dare they!
“Maybe if YOU DIDN’T STARE AT ME SO MUCH WHILE I STUDIED THEN—
“IF YOU WEREN’T SO ATTRACTIVE I—.”
The latin student closed his mouth. Jaw slamming shut as fast as you dilated your eyes to what you just heard.
“You… think I’m attractive?” Well now you never expected that out of their mouth.
Just before you could say another word they ran back to their study spot and fumbled over themself packing up all of their things and leaving. Callused hands now sweaty with a face hotter than the Sun.
“Juliet is the Sun.” As Romeo says in Act 2.
But you could just hear the mutter of their voice before they left.
“Hot fucking bastard…” Huh.

(First time I’ve written like this! Sorry if its kinda mediocre lmao)
