wait its that bad in india????

as of 22nd April 2021 we have about 16.3M new cases and a death toll of 187K . Only about 1.4% of the population has been fully vaccinated yet.

on top of that, we've been facing a major shortage in oxygen supply (to the point where the govt has decided to airlift oxygen from other nations), a shortage in hospital beds and services. The numbers keep rising and with the spread of the new strain, the scenario has transformed into something deadlier than ever.

our infrastructures are falling apart and we need all the help possible at this very moment so the nation can be atleast saved when there's still a chance. I've already lost two of my friends, a teacher and family to the second wave and I can only imagine how much worse it can get. so i would like to take this opportunity to link in some donation posts below–

Sirius Black - The Talks of The Night

Late night strolls of the castle grounds became a regular thing for Sirius Black. And he always had a company. (Y/N), the beauty of Gryffindor, in his eyes. He'd fallen hard for the girl, and he wanted to keep her close forever. Something that scared him deeply. As they sat by the black lake, cuddled close together, a happy sigh left her lips. She leaned her head upwards, kissing along the boy's jawline gently. Sirius couldn't help but smile at the gesture.

"Can I tell you something?" He whispered to her, placing featherlight kisses along her hairline. She hummed in response, linking their fingers together. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

The girl sat up, looking at him. His face held no joke or laughter. Just... Truth. She crawled into his lap, cupping his face in her delicate hands and placed gentle kisses over his cheeks, his nose and a little peck on the lips.

"I'm not sure I understand you, Sirius," She whispered, the teasing in her voice clear as the nights sky, "but to me, that sounded a lot like a proposal." She giggled, watching his cheeks flush a deep crimson. He bowed his head, a soft smile on his lips.

"What if it was? There's a war coming. And who know's what'll happen to any of us. But I've never been more sure about anything in my life. I love you." He confession was unusual to the girl. Sure, Sirius was known for affection and pda, but never with words. It was always actions.

"How come you've never said anything before?" She tilted his head so they were looking into each others eyes. Sirius just smiled, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer to his body. His lips ghosted over hers, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

"The nights were mainly made for saying things that you can't say tomorrow day." Sirius simply stated. Her eyes twinkled with love, pressing her lips to his, the gentlest of kisses shared.

"How poetic," She smiled, running her thumb over his cheekbone, "and I also want to spend forever in your arms."

The first time you met was in detention! Having a sweet taste for trouble, being in detention wasn't unexpected for you. But James was absolutely gobsmacked! But you inticed him in. And ever since that one detention, he couldn't get enough of you!

James loves your competitive side. He says it's one of your best traits. Whenever you get riled up over a Quidditch game, he can't help but grin. This is the hot-headed girl he fell madly in love with! And he wouldn't change a thing about it!

"If you want to travel the world, I'm coming with you." James said that to you one afternoon, when you were telling him your plans to travel. He had taken you by surprise, but you grinned and threw your arms around him, knocking him backwards. He laughed as you peppered kisses all over his face, as no one had offered to travel with you before.

There was one thing James Potter was sure about and that was you. Yes, you were a little chaotic and had knack for seeking out trouble. You were insanely competitive and he did sometimes have to throw you over his shoulder when you got to hot-headed, but you completed him. You made everything complete and you were his forever

“Absolutely not! I don’t want any of you to get in trouble because of me,” Remus snarled as he eyed James, Y/N and Sirius; all three of them sending him hopeful glances, as they stood in the middle of the boys’ dormitory.

“But Moony-,“ James started to make his point, but was harshly cut off by Remus.

“There are no buts, James!” He pursed his lips firmly as he spat the words. “If McGonagall catches the three of you breaking into the library and into the restricted section to steal a book that’s strictly forbidden to students in our year, you’ll all be expelled!”

“We’re not going to steal it, Rem,” Y/N rolled her eyes. “We’ll simply transcript a recipe from it. The book will never leave the library limits. Besides, no one is going to catch us.”

“I don’t care, you’re not doing this and that is all there is to it,” Remus answered in an end-of-conversation tone and walked into the bathroom stomping his feet and slamming the door behind him.

A/N: i LOVE a good enemies to lovers trope and i REALLY got carried away with this request lol i’m still finishing up the next part but since it took me a while to write this and the nonnie who requested it is basically waiting forever now, i decided to release the first part nonethless. hope you all enjoy it! :)

A delicious and inviting smell of food was coming from the Great Hall as the four Marauders crossed the main hallway of the castle in the direction of the door on the right side of the Entrance Hall, which guarded the stone steps that descended deep into the dungeons, where their destination, the Slytherin Dungeon, laid. The sun had already set and the thousands of corridors that made up the imposing fortress of Hogwarts were now empty and silent as the students lodged inside their own Common Rooms, resting from the exhausting day of classes and not so patiently waiting for the last and welcomed meal before they could tug themselves into their comfortable beds.

“The feast is starting soon,” Remus nagged as the boys tiptoed their way down the stone steps, feeling the air get a little chillier the deeper they went. As much as Remus loved his friends and not-so-secretly enjoyed playing harmless pranks in the other students, he couldn’t deny that James was taking things way too far this time.

“Yes, Moony, that’s exactly why we’re heading down into their nest right now!” The boy with untidy black hair that stuck up at the back retorted with an extremely pleased smile. “We’ll caught the snakes off guard by surprising them whilst they’re leaving their hole and L/N won’t be there to ruin our prank this time.”

“And here we go! Took you long enough to bring the name of your lover into our conversation Prongs,” Sirius teased with a lopsided grin as he eyed the darkness ahead of them. Remus and Peter both barked a laugh at Sirius’ words.
