- The idea that your north node = fate and destined path doesn’t feel accurate. After all, north node aka rahu is literally illusion and material obsessions and is also considered a malefic in multiple astrological circles. I find it to be more of an indicator of what our fantasies and guilty pleasures may be.

- People with prominent Leo/Aquarius axis tend to focus their astrological study on their personal placements from what I noticed. As they get deeper however, they start to venture into what other placements might be like. But for most part, the focus tends to be on their placements first.

- 7th/8th house placements tend to be the opposite, being very curious to know why people around them, their role models, and others in general act the way they do and therefore using astrology to understand that

- 9th house placements are the ones who study every placement just for the sake of it or out of curiosity, some 3h placements might also

- Taurus + Leo = curly hair

- Taurus placements, especially if aspecting Lilith or mars or coupled with mars ruled placements, tend to be into vampires bc throat (Taurus) and blood and injury (Mars) as well as the seductive/taboo nature of vampires (Lilith)

- 3h Saturn/ 3h in Capricorn might take quite a while to get their drivers license

- What others tend to say about u : 3h from 7h : aka the 9h.

- Whatever houses are ruled by Venus in your chart can give you an idea of how your relationships impact you as well as how you behave when in a relationship.

e.g. Libra risings have Venus ruling their first and eighth house, they tend to have very transformative relationships that end up changing them completely. They might also benefit from personal glow-ups during certain relationships thanks to their partner’s resources. Opposite can be true with weak Venus or malefic influence on the houses of Venus.

- 8h is underrated as an intelligence indicator. That’s the house of research, uncovering mysteries, and finding out the hidden. If one of the most common intelligent tropes -detectives and mad scientists- work within 8h themes, that is for a reason

- 6th house Lilith could indicate suffering from eating disorders.

- I noticed that even people who don’t know anything about astrology (sometimes especially them lol) tend to have markers of their signs all over their online presence. my ardra stellium friend has pearl as his username (ardra is symbolized by the diamonds and jewelry), a lot of shatabisha (especially the men) like wearing bracelets and rings (reminiscent of the empty circle that symbolizes shatabisha) etc.

- 10th house could signify what traits do you have that are different or stand out from ur family. For example, Jupiter in the tenth house could mean different beliefs, maybe a taller build compared to your parents, I also see it as which members of your family do you resemble the most. 10th house Jupiter might look like their grandparents while 10th house sun their dad, and moon their mom etc.

- Saturnian tend to be gatekeepers because Saturn = scarcity and limitations.

- 4h mars/sun could indicate having more close male friends n vice versa for 4h Venus/moon.

- Sun nakshatras and ashwinis look really good when the sun is shining on them. They might be particularly fond of golden hour selfies.

- 11h synastry can indicate starting a business together, whether it’s benefics or malefics will indicate if the business will succeed or not.

Hobie Brown/Spider-Punk's Possible Astrology Placements

Hi! This has been in my drafts ever since I watched ASTV, so here's what I think Hobie Brown's big 6 are :

Aquarius sun :

I think this is probably the most non-brainer of all his placements. Hobie is a punk anarchist who hates authority, structure, and consistency. He helped Miles, who was antagonized by everyone at Spider-Society and believed in him against all odds. he will not praise structure for merely existing especially if said structure thrives on sacrificing the minority for the benefit of the majority: you can't get any more aquarian than that 🤷‍♀️.

(I also think his constant clash with Miguel comes from the fact Miguel is a Scorpio with probably several other Scorpio placements squaring Hobie's.)

Sagittarius moon :

He has firm convictions (sag is the philosopher, the guru) fueled by his sun sign's drive for equality sans authority. He's also very influential and has a massive following of people who take his words as gospel without him even trying. Nevertheless, he doesn't take himself too seriously and knows how to joke around and not be too uptight. Having a Sagittarius moon could also be why he loves to keep everyone on their toes since Sagittarius despises stagnancy and predictability.

Aquarius mercury :

his inventive and crafty nature, his wittiness and slightly-too-frank humor, his understanding of deeply complicated subjects like societal structures and political power, not to forget how he was the first one to predict the downfall of Spider-Society and begin planning for it... His intelligence, inventive nature, and almost prophetic sense of futuristic vision all point to having an Aquarius mercury.

Aries venus :

Hobie loves spikes, piercings, and tattoos, all things sharp and edgy ruled by Mars. He's also not afraid to express his affection and liking for people he just met (like with Miles, he immediately coddled him as if they were long-term best friends). The unabashed way he expresses himself on top of being rebellious and rooting for the underdogs to speak up (showing Miles how to break from Miguel's shield) are very Aries Venus actions.

Aquarius mars :

Having a Saturn-ruled Mars explains why he was able to plan ahead for the upcoming divide of the Spider Society, likewise how he managed to remain cool-headed through all the conflict between Miguel and Miles (Saturn is a cold and calculating planet); He was able to predict the clashes to happen because he can recognize patterns early: that's his Aquarius mars conjunct mercury in action.

Aries rising :

I think this one was the hardest one to pin down... Hobie was described as tall and lean, with a prominent bone structure (Saturn influence), and his spider suit was designed with spikes all over. He was born in an autocratic society and overthrew -then killed- the despot of his universe... This has a lot of Martian themes like rebellion, leadership, fearlessness, standing up for the weak... But his ability to persevere under such circumstances, plan out things far ahead, and remain coolheaded is definitely due to his Aquarius Mars being his chart ruler.

Films that ketu nakshatras show up in are like sci-fi , existential films that really play around with our sense of reality. Think Donnie Darko (Mula). They really like peeling back what’s holding the psych together, and really making reality more tangible than we realize.

Magha always leans towards Existential, not necessarily a sci-fi, Aswini leans towards questioning society or it’s way of thinking (think Batman) and Mula really plays with sci-fi really questioning the minds perception of what’s real or isn’t real.

Also, they all have a tendency of the films being dark not in a theme sense (though true) but the picture/film itself. It’s rarely shot in bright lighting

Pisces moon coupled with earth, especially Capricorn, are unrivaled when it comes to philosophical and social breakthroughs. they have the spiritual awareness and collective vision of Pisces hand in hand with the objectivity and discipline of earth signs, and they can therefore be masters at deconstructing the functioning of society and the psyche. it’s such a consistent pattern with notable examples such as Joan of Arc (Cap Sun and Mercury), Benjamin Franklin (Taurus Saturn, Cap Venus & Sun), Henry Dunant who founded the red cross movement (Taurus Sun and Mercury, Cap stellium), Edgar Allan Poe considered to have invented the detective fiction genre and one of the earliest contributors to the genre of sci-fi (cap sun and mercury, Pisces stellium).

Venus conjunct Mercury could purchase books just because they look pretty and aesthetically pleasing lol. The type to look for the prettiest hardcover of a book to get.

A Virgo/gemini moon is a common placement amongst rappers known for being fast. Whether it's Doja Cat, Busta Rhymes, Min Yoongi, or Dizzee Rascal… after all, the moon (emotions and the inner mind) is ruled by fast-paced mercury (an exception would be if natal mercury was deeply afflicted). Jupiter conjunct Mercury as well can indicate the same.

5h moon transits are the times when you start to develop a crush or meet up with friends, decide to practice a particular hobby, binge tv shows/movies or read books, etc… one of my fave transits particularly because my 5h is in Pisces so I spend this transit often reading and consuming/creating art, and being delusional 🤭.

3h Pluto transit can indicate a gradual shift in your mindset, gradual because it’s a very long transit. It can either be positive or negative depending on how both your natal and transit pluto aspect your natal chart + transits. As my 3rd house is in Capricorn squaring my Aries moon, I spent this transit working on my work ethic and long-time consistency, as well as my self-esteem being dependent on how much I achieve and not my thoughts and core beliefs as a person (natal 2h pluto is in Sagittarius).

12h Leo can be such a humble bragger, and very obviously so… the type to complain about how being pretty sucks because guys like them too fast, or about how being rich isn’t easy, etc… I have six friends with this placement and only one isn’t like this but they’re also far older and more mature.

9th house in cancer people are very likely to be feminists or just very passionate about gender equality if the moon is well-aspected. If not, and if Venus and IC were not well-aspected, they could be deeply misogynistic and against gender emancipation.

How you're misunderstanding fire moons

case in point: Aries

Out of all the moon signs in astrology, fire moons are the ones most commonly accused of impulsivity, childishness, and trouble managing and keeping emotions to oneself... As one myself, I decided to share my thoughts on this through my personal experience, astrology studies, and the words of other fellow fire moons.

I am an Aries moon, so the fire presumed "aggression" and "impulsivity" should be 20x stronger with the added Mars influence, but ... I don't find that to be true at all. Aries moons are also expected to be self-serving and selfish and I attributed my inability to relate to this to my moon being in the 6th house of service.

That was of course until I met other Aries moons. My friend has hers on the ascendant, and another has it in the 8th house square 80% of her chart. Another has it in the 8th house opposite the ascendant and sun. a few more here and there whom I met online and each one of them doesn’t resonate with the standard Aries moon description at all. sure they do feel intense emotions, especially negative ones, but none manifest as aggressive or violent.

However, scrolling and stumbling on this tweet from one of my favorite astrologers catalyzed the realization that the aggression of Aries moons is directed at the self, not others.

Mars is high-strung, with high standards and fierce energy. When the moon, a planet of emotion and deep psyche is riddled with Mars's influence... the fallback is great when one falls short of their goals. Aries moons don't take losing easily, but instead of throwing tantrums like everyone assumes they do, they actually tend to redirect that anger toward themselves. self-harm is something I've sadly found to be very common across my Aries moon friends, especially if there's Saturnian or Plutonian influence in the mix. I also think the house where the moon is can show the area where we punish ourselves:

5h Moons could deprive themselves of their hobbies and fun activities, 6h Moons could obsess over their health or overwork themselves, 7h Moons could sabotage their relationships, 8h, and 12h Moons could self-isolate...

So to say being a fire moon, especially an Aries moon, implies you're extremely violent is very inaccurate. After all, Hayao Miyazaki, the creature of Ghibli Studios, is an Aries moon himself and Ghibli is probably the most soothing and calm franchise that's also very critical of violence and war. Mars rules control and violence, but when ruling over the moon - a very personal planet - those attributes become self-directed.

Vedic Astrology Observations

in my previous post, i had mentioned how Uttarashada natives love grandness and glamour. the more i look into it, the more i see these natives indulge in that old world, royaltycore aesthetic. its always go big or go home for them

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is known for his splashy period dramas with elaborate costumes and grand set designs has Ketu in Uttarashada

Fan Bingbing who is known for her glamorous and eclectic style has Ketu in Uttarashada (she also has her moon in Revati, another nakshatra that really loves glamour)

Kim Taehyung, who is also known for his preference for vintage glamour has Mercury & Mars in Uttarashada (he also has his moon and ketu in Revati)

2. someone previously made a post about how mrigashira natives often play the "bimbo" in movies and ive observed that this also corresponds to real life, where a lot of mrig natives are perceived to be ditzy airheads or for saying crazy insane stuff. i believe its the mars influence that makes these natives speak hastily without much thought.

The nakshatra most often associated with incest is Rohini and Mrigashira but I would say Ashlesha also features these themes. Growing up in a very controlling household with a cold/controlling mother figure is a huge theme in the lives of Ashlesha natives.

in Donkey Skin (1970) Catherine Deneuve plays a princess who takes the form of a donkey in order to escape from her father, the king who wishes to marry her because she looks just like her mother. This is quite literally the story of Rohini, who was Lord Brahma's favourite daughter, and he was attracted to her. Rohini sensed this and took the form of a deer and ran away. Lord Brahma subsequently assumed the form of a stag and chased her across the heavens. When Rudra found out what was happening he cut off the head of the stag. The stag’s head became the symbol of the nakshatra of Mrigashira. As we can see Rohini & Mrigashira's mythology is deeply intertwined.

Shani/saturn is our karma, which teaches us things the hard way. The princess (unwillingly) has to leave the comfort of her palace and kingdom, assume the form of a donkey and go work as a pig-keeper. She loses everything she has ever known and has to work her way up from scratch, this is a typical Saturnian journey and most people experience this during their Saturn return (Saturnian folks experience this all their lives).

the color red is used throughout the second half of the movie, in association with the Prince's kingdom. Red is typically associated with Sun and Mars in vedic astrology. as the princess works out her karma and integrates her shadow, she blossoms into a fully integrated individual, this means she has cultivated her identity and the strength to act upon it. from a passive, weak willed princess in her father's castle, who was willing to marry her father due to her fear of hurting him by refusing to do so, she transforms into someone who moulds her own fate through her own actions. (Sun + Mars)

The fact that she assumes the form of a Donkey, itself is very symbolic. Donkeys, in vedic astrology is often the vehicle of Gods. Therefore, it serves as the door that governs her transition from passivity to individuation.

the Prince saw her for her true nature, although everyone around was convinced that she's just a filthy, hideous servant. When the Prince slips her ring back on to her finger, she transforms back into her original self (true love is a mirror that reminds us of who we really are and gives us the courage to shed our worldly personas). The dress she wears then, is a golden one, originally given to her by her father when she said she wanted a dress "like the sun". Yellow is associated with Jupiter. After enduring the trials of Saturn, the Princess who became Donkey Skin, once again becomes a Princess, except now she has freedom. Saturn's teachings guide us to Jupiter's blessings. The movie's ending showing us that once the Princess had successfully overcome her trials and now embraced her true nature.

– my astrology observations pt.2

I noticed that the more mature someone is, the more they lean towards their sister sign. For example, a mature Gemini will teach the people around them about their knowledge. In contrast, a mature Aquarius learns to embrace their performer side and embrace attention and their desire to receive it, a mature Capricorn will have a tight circle they can be vulnerable and open with while a mature Aries understands diplomacy and conversation over confrontation can go a long way etc…

generational placements are so real... like my mom's side collectively has Venusian and Cancer placements in everyone’s charts, and I’m a 7h Taurus stellium and my brother is a 7h Cancer stellium. my mom has a 2h Pluto and my dad a 4h Mars, both of which I also share. I believe they represent the generational trauma and gifts we have to work on evolving and healing.

your 5h can determine the signs and traits of your fans and admirers. For example, Lana Del Rey is a Scorpio rising with a 5h in Pisces, and the themes her fans popularized the most are escapism through drugs, seeing romantic relationships through rose-tinted glasses, or unconventional dating history. Ariana grande is a Capricorn rising with a 5h in Gemini and she has an extremely active online fanbase who are known for being problematic or heavily engaging in drama, this could also explain on top of her Neptune influence why she has so many copycats, as Gemini is symbolized by the twins.

7h mars get into fights with people very often especially with a domicile or exalted mars. they can have a tendency to be defensive because they were on the receiving end of a lot of animosity growing up, but this can lead them to start fights for no reason or just sabotage their relationships. while you have been betrayed or hurt by a lot of close people understand that not everyone is out to get you. this could be controversial but the ABC method seemed to have pushed the Astro community backward with the whole equalizing signs and house thing... no having an Aries moon isn’t the same as a 1h moon or a Cancer rising just like a Capricorn stellium doesn’t equal a 10th house stellium. I myself was guilty of this association as that was my introduction to chart analysis, but if you’re an aspiring astrologer, please try to separate the two: you’ll realize how much more accurate your interpretations will be after you do so.

Ladies with 7th house Planets but born in Conservative Societies?

Oh! To have planets in the 7th house but born in conservative society that abhors premarital relationships, casual relationships or even meeting of boy-girl before marriage. To be born in societies that encourage arranged marriages fixed by families and strictly against male-female friendships except those allowed by blood relations.

On one hand, you have an important 7th house and on the other hand your environment restricts one of the important purposes of your life, that is to learn to navigate life through relationships and to find yourself through one upon one relationships. Not every 7th houser ends up in a happy marriage.

If these ladies try to fulfill their destiny by dating someone in their younger years secretly from their parents and if their parents find out - all hell breaks loose! How dare you disrespect our family image and dignity? How dare you have emotions and feelings for someone and try to date someone like that? How dare you try to take a decision in your life that is not controlled by us?

I have seen ladies with moon in 7th house, jupiter in 7th house, sun in 7th house trying to date someone in their teenage or young adult years, only to end up badly for them that fills them with shame and guilt for going against their family traditions. They impulsively jump into relationship by way of projecting their fantasy and later regret for a lifetime that they are bad person for doing a "dirty" thing. Oh, to have feelings is a dirty thing?

I find it sad that 7th houser ladies are born in conservative societies because it strictly restricts their purpose in life and also fills them with shame and self-doubts because of their desires to find themselves through romantic relationships. Wherever planets are placed in a chart is where the native will feel an insatiable drive to fulfill the needs of that house. Someone with planets in 7th house will instinctively feel the desire to form companionship with a boy and to be completed by someone else.

Often the families are not aware of astrology and blame the native for going against family traditions, rather than simply use their mind that the native's destined path goes through 7th house, something they didn't decide but are naturally motivated for. Native does eventually end up marrying because they cannot escape their destiny but it is always a topic of wonder how their natural desires to deeply invest in a romantic relationship is shunned and criticized in their environment.
