4element tarot:

[inspired by mamamoo's project: Four seasons Four colors]

so happy to be able to finally post this series of drawings i've been working on for a weeks now.

just like 4s4c, each tarot card is meant to represent something. for this, i gave each member a new identity, therefore we have a nature fairy, a demigod, a folk legend 19th century lady and an anonnymous heroine. i highly recomment to watch the attached video for an even deeper insight into the characters as well as a simple guide into mamamoo's 4season 4color project!

4s4c has to be one of my fav things about the girls' discography. it's truly a masterpiece. creating this tarot seies helped me re-discover it and i fell in love with it even more.

holding on to heartache🥀

i only had to listen to holding on to heartache once to know that it was gonna become one of my fav songs of all time so of course i had to make a drawing of it.

this is the piece i've been working on since i started reposting my art here so this is finally a new drawing you're seeing!!

a little insight into the meaning: basically, the entire song lyrics. the birds, the clocks and the crown are explicitly mentioned in the lyrics. to me the crown had to be made of thorns since louis is referring to something that's supposedly embarrassing, something that one should be ashamed of (think of jesus for example) and then well, the bleeding is quite self explanatory and then his stance is a proud stance, as opposed to the shame crown he's carrying. he wears it and he wears it proudly. so it's basically him being proud of who he is despite others telling him it's a flaw

Ohhhh I have put this off for so long because naming favourite artists feels like such a big responsibility!! But I will name some I've been especially fond of lately, at the very least! Here's a selection of just twenty amazing artists/creators that I've been admiring in just the last few weeks:

And the thing is, is I could also easily draw up whole paragraphs of why I love each of these artists, but then I get very worried that I am going to make it look like I love some artists more than others, and then I get very stressed so I'm not going to do that, at least not this time around.

Also please know that I could easily name another thirty that I love at least. There are so many great artists in this fandom and my terrible short term memory gave me these names first! But my fanart, edit, manip, and fan comic tags are full of them! Also twitter is very very scary but my twitter is almost exclusively retweeted fanart. Now I draw a luxury nxde...

what's better than ending 2022 with a gidle drawing? here's my first (!) soyeon fanart. it was an honour to draw her using nxde and i love as inspiration. the whole explanation surely won't fit in this post so please check the youtbe video linked below to understand all details better!

to sum it up a little this is set in the 50s and soyeon gets ready to perform. the mirror separates the reality she faces from the life she shows others from the stage as a well known figure. arrows symbolise the different types of hate that's thrown at her but that can't be seen in the mirror because she was taught to hide. she was taught to hide herself. she's conflicted because she was taught something but she believes in something else that's completely different.

Faith In The Future

ah, yes! what you're seeing is my BEST drawing of 2022. drawing this gave me an insane amount of support on all social media and got me TWO lthq notices (and also got people THEORISING ABOUT IT!!!??!! MY POWER??!!!!)

this drawing tries to represent the passage from one era to another. the evolution from walls to faith in the future. louis was once tied, walls!louis didn't dare to do certain things because something held him back, he wasn't sure he was gonna succeed so he tested the waters first. fitf!louis helps him continue to move forward, towards the future, and although fitf!louis looks scary from afar, he's helping walls!louis by cutting these ropes.

for this drawing i posed like 6 times. i posed for the two louis, the hand on top, the hands below (I didn't change them this time, they stayed as my own hands while the hand on top i made it look like louis')

i quite don't know how to explain this drawing lmao. it was inspired in 369, eye of the storm and then just a lot of imagination and overanalysing stuff. read the text to understand better. it's basically a word play, colour theory and a bit of optical illusion

The Faces Of Yong 🐝

this might be my absolute favourite thing i have ever done. back again with the interactive drawings, i created an animation (kinda) of solar's album called: face and the title track: honey.

i tried to represent what she tries to convey with this album which is the face, the persona, the face behind the mask, etc so i thought about a dress up girl game in which you can customise your character as you wish.

planning this and drawing it was one of the hardest things i've ever done, took me a hell lota time tbh but the result is a masterpiece. all frames are done by hand, even the loading screen was made with a moving strip that can be pulled therefore, it's actually me moving it from behind. my best work.

I never die, I never lose.

first ever gidle fanart! this drawing was created BEFORE the release of their album: i never die. i made this using teasers and my imagination only because i wanted to see how much of the concept/title track i could guess so i think, looking at it now, i did a good job!

i only had 2 image teasers of minnie so i struggled a lot to try and get her pose and clothes right. the pose reference is actually me in my desk. the lighter is actually an eraser and the "cigarette" is my drawing pencil lmaooo.

in this scene, minnie is playing chess with somebody. the viewer is in first person POV so it could be any of us she's playing with. game turns dirty but she doesn't lose because she sets the rules. we can see the the chess pieces forming a pile in which the queen is the only one standing and she's smoking out of the other player's king. blood can be seen in the chessboard and in her hand. make your own conclusions ;)
