It’s about time.

Wolf #1 is coming out soon – July 22, to be exact. If you’re willing to go into your local comics store and pre-order a copy this week, it will be amazing for us, because every order increases the amount of copies we have to print, and that in turn increases our chances of making Wolf an epic long-form story. The pre-order code for Wolf #1 is MAY150550: tell your retailer that and it shall come to you.

Wolf is about a suicidal paranormal investigator who meets a young girl who might just be the key to the impending apocalypse. It’s about vampires, werewolves, concrete, desert, blood and magic. It’s also about California, Los Angeles, and the ways we choose to define ourselves. It’s also, perhaps most importantly, about myths. But maybe you fancy seeing some pages?

Jimmy Akingbola joins Arrow Season 4 Cast

Jimmy Akingbola has been set to appear on the fourth season of Arrow in the role of Baron Blitzkrieg, the leader of a group called Shadowspire who is going to be showing up in Oliver’s memories. Baron Blitzkrieg, also known as Baron Reiter, was a longstanding rival of comic-verse Oliver Queen, and lead Shadowspire, working with associates such as Steelhawk, Kodrescu, Mourn I and Mourn II.…

Books are judged by their covers. Comics are no different. How is a potential reader going to pick your issue out of the hundreds on the rack? They won’t unless it visually stands out from the rest. Strong colors, graphic designs, and a unique style are a good start.

Or just hire EM Gist.

This man is an illustrator extraordinaire in the vein of Drew Struzan, my favorite movie poster artist of all time (Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and many more). You’d likely recognize his iconic style from Guillermo Del Toro’s The Strain comics. His artwork walks the line between realism and supernatural horror which is perfect for my comic series Death Head so I’m incredibly thrilled that he’s doing all six covers!
