Oliver ducked his head back in the car; his perfectly trained focus pinning you in the same way it had throughout the entirety of the evening before gracing you with a polite smile and rushing out, “Yeah?”

You swallowed, unsure as to why exactly you felt the need to call him back after he’d spent the night dancing, laughing, sneaking off with you to check out the gardens, and even going above and beyond to be a perfect gentleman, especially after he offered to walk you to your car… But it wasn’t very often you met incredible men like Oliver Queen and it was even more of a rarity when those men happened to be mayors of major cities and if you let him walk away without another word, you would be kicking yourself into next week.

“I just wanted to say, thank you…”

He blinked and tilted his head briefly before asking, “For what?”

“For being you, I guess.” Inwardly cringing at the idea of sounding so cheesy, you shook your head and tried, “It was really fun to get to know you tonight as a normal guy instead of a politician.”

“I should actually be thanking you…” He said with a huff, dropping his stare to the empty seat next to you. “That party was pretty terrifying before you showed up.”

You laughed and bit your lip before saying, “Come on… Nothing scares you.”

With a smirk that had your heart knocking into your ribs, Oliver’s eyes found you again and before you had time to catch your breath, he came back with, “Would it ruin the evening if I kissed you goodnight?”

Summary: All things considered, Caitlin was lucky… Aside from being trapped on a different earth and navigating through unfamiliar terrain in the middle of a storm while mutated animals were on the hunt, she was alive when she shouldn’t have been.

Chapter Summary:  Do you want me to save you… For reasons he couldn’t understand, it wasn’t exactly what he wanted to hear. He wasn’t sure if it was for the obvious bait placed before him like someone had dumped a chum bucket into shark infested waters just for the chance to drive a harpoon into his already damaged fins or if this… Whatever the fuck it was, had been an easier pill to swallow than getting his freedom back and pressing on without Snow. 

He’d determined a long time ago that he couldn’t do this on his own and through soul searching, very quickly came to the conclusion that he was helpless without her. She gave rise to the drive punching through his gut that made him want to survive and see it through to the end… See her through to the end. But he’d fucked up again and she was out there on her own, in a mess he’d made and that had him physically resisting the urge to holler until his lungs gave out.

Hey I was just wondering when you would be back from your writing hiatus and when we can start requesting again. I hope everything is alright! XOX

Everything is going really well! I’m happy and healthy and just... Lazy. Well, lazy in regards to being active on this blog. I didn’t really plan taking this hiatus. I just got busy doing other things in life and kind of liked not having to worry about keeping my queue filled. 

My writing slowed down quite a bit because I wanted to focus on actually writing my A03 fics and also doing reader one shots that have been stacking up on me... I‘m not sure when I’ll start accepting requests again but I’ll let you guys know when I’m ready! And as for coming off of hiatus, I’ll just go ahead and let you guys know I’ll probably never be at a point where I can post everyday like I used to. But I do want to grasp for some sort of consistency even if my posting wont be as frequent as it was when we all first started out.

Are you still writing cat scratch fever I know it's been giving you some complications

Haha I’m still writing a LOT of things... And can I just go ahead and apologize for how inactive I’ve been lately?? Basically I’ve been working on one shots and A03 fics at the moment and that’s why you haven’t see a whole lot of imagines coming through. I plan on completing a bunch of full-length reader fictions, Cat Scratch Fever being among them, and basically dumping everything on you guys all at once. I’ve only gotten a couple things done but I’m still shooting to start posting again in June. :)

But yeah! I’m still absolutely in love with the plot of CSF and am really looking forward to actually finishing it. :)

Oh good! Good to know that would interest others as well! LOVE Malcolm for some awkwardly strange reason... I know I’m supposed to like Oliver best but... They threw Malcolm at me and BOOM. I guess that’s my Arrow Boy... Man... We’ll say man. I hear that gentlemen don’t like to be called boys after a while... AM I RAMBLING???

But yes! So interesting and well layered. Would be fun to explore his character through a fic!
