As mentioned in my last post, welcome to Aislynn's 1 Word For Each WIP November Extravaganza! (It was too long to fit all of that in the banner, so hence the number 4 coming in clutch, lol!)

Here's what I'm GOING TO write at least one word for in the month of November:

Halo the series

"15 Minutes" - (John/Female Reader) Chapter 12 is in progress and will get progressiver (word of the day) by at least 1 more word! *nodnods*

"Recreation" - (Kai/Male Reader) The final chapter will be slotting in between its sibling fic's *points up at "15M"* second to last and final chapter. I have notes on chapter 5 but no draft started... yet.

"Untitled Fluffy Vannak fic" - (Vannak/Female Reader) Just a one-shot that I wanted to do for the big guy, something sweet and fun because he got VERY LITTLE of either in season 2. 😭The draft is already in progress.

I also would like to write a Reader fic for Riz since the entire rest of Silver Team is getting something 👀but have nothing on tap just yet.🤞😣🤞 One day, I hope, but I'm not counting this as part of my WIPs to be finished in November... unless I should get a heck of a lot of work done on everything else. 😉

Halo: Reach

"Choices: A Choose Your Own Spartan Adventure" - (Noble Team/Female Reader) One of the most personally ambitious things I've attempted in a while, the first chapter that sets up the adventure is almost done. Next to go are each of the chapters where you choose which Noble Team member you'll continue the adventure with. I have the plot for all of them but only Emile's has something written. We'll also be getting a separate chapters for female and male Noble Six, since we're all about, you know, choosing who you want to adventure with and Six can be either in the game. 😎👍

The Flash

"The Price" (NSFW) - (Caitlin Frost/Hunter Zolomon) I've known what's going to happen in chapter 2 for a quite a while now. Just got to write it... one word at a time, right?

"Guardian Angel" - (Time Wraith!Caitlin Snow/Eobard Thawne) About 1/3 of chapter 3 has been done for, umm, years now. Just need to push it on through a little bit more! I'm not sure how many chapters in all it will be, at least this one and a 4th but that may be enough to finish it. We'll see!

"Split" - (Caitlin Snow/Eobard Thawne) The third and final fic in the Ghost of Eobard Thawne series turned out, to my surprise, to have 3 very ragged first drafts and part of a 4th chapter just hanging out in my Word docs after all of these years. I still have my *surprised Pikachu face* on for this one, what can I say? 🤷‍♀️😂

"Try" (NSFW) - (TomCav!Eobard Thawne/Caitlin Snow/Mattobard!Eobard Thawne) Oh yeah, I went there. After all of the versions of them that I've written, the only really surprising thing is that I didn't do this a lot sooner, lol! This one has 3 chapters of almost 8k words done that nobody has ever read. It's weirdly one of the few times I did world-building, too. It's projected to be pretty big, 20-25 chapters, so maybe 50k words? 😱 It's a really big undertaking for something that's honestly just for me but... I'd really like to be able to read the entire thing one day, lol! And there's only one way to do that: I've got to write it, one word at a time. 🤷‍♀️😉

I may have totally forgotten something but this was all that showed up in my WIPs folder. Of course, that folder was imperfectly copied from my previous computer and I had to go looking for several of these, so who knows. If I missed something, feel free to let me know.

So wish me luck, frens! This is a challenge I KNOW I can do and I'm so excited about it! 🥳🎉🎊💖

I remember the first time I watched Flash, and I swore that Caitlin and Harry were something, that there was something between them or that there probably would be. So I watched it with more desire until the end, and well...they were just voices in my head, but honestly? They were a couple that wasn't but was meant to be...one of those that we wait for until the end.

Snowells Week 2022: Day 6 (Free Theme or the one where Caitlin and Harry celebrate Pi Day while Nash and Frost have their own shenanigans)

With the arrival of Pi Day, Frost encourages Harry to get involved as it is Caitlin’s favorite holiday. The two do have a great time and Frost and Nash can’t help but get involved in their own shenanigans for the day.

Welp, it's almost time for the July Camp NaNoWriMo to begin and this time I'm really aiming to get at least ONE of my WIPs done but ideally it would be all of them.

So may I present my Camp NaNo project:

I'm not really holding out a lot of hope but, well, I have to keep trying.

These are the 4 works in question:

"15 Minutes" (John/reader, Halo the series) "Recreation" (Kai/male!reader, Halo the series) "The Price" (NSFW) (Caitlin Snow/Hunter Zolomon, The Flash) "Guardian Angel" (TimeWraith!Caitlin Snow/Eobard Thawne, The Flash)

If I can finish these 4 fics, then I can feel like I accomplished something. I'm not sure WHAT exactly, but I'll have accomplished it, lol.

"15 Minutes" and "Recreation" have priority, then the Flash fics.

I have exactly one (1) person who will read "The Price." They waited patiently for me to write and post the first chapter and have politely not given up on it even though it's been more than a year since it updated. Literally nobody else cares about this one but because I know that one person does, I won't give up on it. Plus, chapter 2 has some funny stuff in mind and I really want to write it. 🤷‍♀️😉

"Guardian Angel" has nobody at all waiting for it (and that's totally fine) but I just want to finish it anyway. It has such a different premise to my usual Flash fics and I'd like to see it get finished.

I still would've liked to write the Choose Your Own Spartan Adventure with Noble Team but maybe that can be something to work on for the November NaNo? 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, I like to kinda commit my NaNo plan to writing before the start date gets here. I can't do a playlist like I used to do because I still haven't put any of my music on the computer. One day, maybe, I'll feel like I can settle in here and that it really is my home, lol.

Snowells Week 2023 - Day 2: Alternate Fandom / Santa Clarita Diet AU

Snowells Week 2023: Day 4 (Year 4: “You’re special.” + “We’re not done.”)

Quick note: This is the Snowells/Wandavision AU I’ve been sitting on. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Caitlin was in a state of shock as she drove away from the facility, her hands gripping the wheel tightly as her mind kept playing the scene over in her head. They were tearing him apart. Her friend, her lover, torn to pieces in front of her eyes.

She had gone through grief so many times and she had known he was dead for months now but seeing him like that, what they had done to him... it hurt more than words could possibly ever say.

She didn’t know where she was going until she already arrived. It was the plot of land Harry had purchased, the land they were supposed to build their lives, away from the world’s problems.

“I think it’ll be good for us. You’re always telling me I need to learn more about people and how you’ve been wanting to step away from all of this,��� he had first explained when he showed her the plot. “We can pretend to be normal, blend in with everyone else-”

“Normal? People can tell I’m a weirdo within a minute of meeting me.”

“You’re not weird Snow,” he affectionately argued, kissing the top of her head, “You’re special.”

Their conversation rang in her head as she finally set foot on the land. Bits of unfinished concrete fixtures were around the edges, plotting out the shape of what was supposed to be their home. Dead grass and weeds had taken over the unfinished ground. Seeing the condition it was in only filled Caitlin with anguish, her grief overwhelming her. She would never feel that again, his love, his touch.

“We’re not-” her knees buckled as she tried to speak, her throat closing up. She only managed a whisper. “We’re not done yet.”

Caitlin finally broke out into a sob, experiencing a pain so intense that it surely couldn’t be possible. None of this could be real. Not this painful life.

Something started to build, stretching out of her as she cried. Soon the abandoned lot had started to fade away and a home came into view. Their home. In an instant, she stood in a living room, prim and proper, in a colorless world.

“There you are sweetheart,” Harry had appeared behind her, just as colorless as the rest of the world but shining nonetheless, “Are you all right?”

“Yes,” she responded, quickly wrapping her arms around his frame, “Just a bad dream.”

After the events of the Crisis that shook the multiverse, Caitlin and her robot husband Harry move to the quaint town of Westview and finally settle down. Despite their comfortable life, strange things begin to happen around them, ranging from weird neighbors to the return of a dead relative. Despite the chaos, the two manage to put on quite the show, doing everything they can to fix any glitch that comes their way.
